We had a blast! Joao was such an incredible guide - knowledgeable and funny and patient with us all. We learned so much, observed things we would have totally missed out on, and laughed a bunch. We highly recommend any tour that Joao is leading!! FIVE STARS :)

The walking tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Porto. Our guide Peter was so passionate about Portuguese history and incredibly knowledgeable. We took in all the main sites and learnt so much. Afterwards he gave us tips and advice of local places to go which was helpful. The tour was extremely enjoyable & we learnt so much from it. Would highly recommend! Thanks Peter!
Very good 3-hour walking tour in the old town of Porto. Our guide Ricardo was exceptional regarding knowledge of the history of the town, helpful and polite.
Lots of uphill walking. Our guide ( age 26 ) paced herself so us old people (66 & 70) could keep up. She explained the history of the areas that she led us to.
It’s a great way to get an overview of the beautiful city of Porto. Our guide Pedro was informative, interesting and helpful.. We learned about the history of the city, its architecture and music, Would definitely recommend this tour as a great way to start exploring Porto.
Our walking tour with Pedro was wonderful and informative. He was very knowledgeable and an accommodating guide.
Great learning about the city and its history! Our guide was very informative. She also mentioned the Imersive experience at Clerigo which was awesome and the most beautiful book which was so cool.
An excellent informative tour that was casual yet we learnt so much. Covered everything we wanted and the guide was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and afterwards we returned to some of the places to explore further, especially the market
Guide was just great…great introduction to Porto…just 6 of us. We were in front of church pillars at 9:40 for 10 pm start. Didn’t find guide. Left. Guide called 10 minutes later and went back. 2 other couples found him. Not sure went wrong.
The guide was extremely informative, helpful and friendly. We covered a lot of territory and with very few exceptions found it easily walkable.
Our guide Mia was amazing and provided us with a wealth of information that really helped us to find our feet, and make the most of the short time we had in Porto - highly recommended!
Mariana, the tour leader, was perfect. She is a local with an infectious love for Porto. She took us through lovely streets and to great places that we would have missed on our own. And gave us both an entertaining and a very informative tour. Her English is very good and she has a pleasant and clear voice making her easy to hear and understand. She had obviously planned routes involving less hilly routes than she could have. We came away from our three hr trip with a love of Porto and a desire to come back, and, based on Mariana, a love of the people of Portugal. Porto is hilly. I’m not an overfit 71 yr old, but I was able to keep up. Highly recommend.
Pedro was excellent. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, witty and fiercely proud of his city and Portugal. Having spent time in Porto we understand why.
This walking tour is a very good way to know Porto. Our tour guide was very good and had great knowledge about the places we visited. She was very friendly and caring. There was a little misunderstanding in the beginning about the meeting point, but the tour organizer solved it perfectly.
Tour Guide Mia was very friendly and very informative. She made sure every one in our group of 13 or so understood her narrative and seemed passionate about sharing her knowledge of her home city. The city is very noisy and busy but she was patient and guided us very well.
Our guide was from Porto and his knowledge and passion for his city shone through. It was a nice small group of 6 so we could all hear and see everything being pointed out. We learned not just about Porto but also the history of Portugal, the food, music, and all sorts. Very unscripted and entertaining. We saw lots of other tours going on - big groups with ear pieces, groups on segways, in tuc tucs and we are in no doubt we made the right decision to go with our tour. We would thoroughly recommend it.
We just did the 3 hour walking tour of Porto with Ricardo earlier today and it was phenomenal, highly recommended and worth every penny. It was an excellent way to start the day (we did the 10am tour) before the crowds get too heavy, the weather is cool and Ricardo gives you a beautiful lay of the land from a very keen and well-educated yet personal and heartfelt perspective. From there you can choose which of the key destinations you want to pursue yourself - he gives you practical tips from hip bars and restaurants to fado shows to panoramic viewpoints. His impassioned delivery of legendary stories and historical averview gives you a sense of the soul and character of Porto as well as his pride for his home. Around every corner, along every cobblestone street, every religious and political monument, there is as story, a struggle and a triumph to be discovered and told. Thank you, Ricardo.
Riccardo was na amazing guide through Porto and made our 3 hour tour fly by so fast. Highly recommend!
We started rhe tour in the heart of porto at the cathedral. Ricardo has great knowledge of the city, including the history of it. He recommended restaurants, bars, and everything you need. This is our first time in Porto and he made the experience memorable. I would definitely recommend doing this tour. It is worth every euro.
Sites and the narrative provided by Ricardo. The pace was good and we learned as lot we would not have from guide books
We were very lucky as my wife and I were the only ones booked for the tour. From the moment we learned this we knew we were in for a treat. Ricardo was exceptional in his knowledge of Porto and its history. We had read about Lisbon but Ricardo made us love Porto. He led us through the streets of Porto and told us story after story! It was like taking a university course. He answered all of our questions and pointed out special places to eat. We could have not asked for more. We are in our 50s and the walk was not difficult. If you want to REALLY learn about Porto you must take this tour! Thank you Ricardo, it is you who made Porto our favourite stop in Portugal.
Our guide Sonia, very enthusiastic with perfect French, helped us discover Porto and its history
A must-do! Jean is an amazing guide, he will surprise you with all his knowledge, his kindness, and his humor. A true enthusiast of his profession. It is a safe bet! Thanks to you.
Excellent guide who allowed us to discover the city of Porto! Thanks to João, our guide who has impeccable French and a contagious smile. :)
We had booked the visit in French but for pressing commitments the guide was no longer available. They notified us in time and we changed to a visit in English. It couldn't have gone better! So we got to know Riccardo and the city of Porto in the best possible way: Riccardo explains clearly and thoroughly every point of interest, it is understood that he has an excellent knowledge of the city and its history and manages to convey the passion for what he does. He also gave us some useful tips about the places in Portugal that we would visit in the following days. Totally positive experience!
We took the tour with Leonor, she is at home in Porto and speaks German. She explained everything well and mentioned a historical background. We can highly recommend the tour with Leonor.
We met our guide outside the cathedral. Our group consisted of 9 people. The guide took us a little over 3 hours through the old town of Porto. The information we got about the sights was very entertaining. There was also the opportunity to ask questions at any time. The German of our guide was very good.
