Great location, decent room, comfy bed. Concierge doesn't quite go above and beyond, but tries to be helpful. Cocktail bar and the spa are absolutely fabulous and the Michelin 1 star restaurant more than deserves its star. Bedding takes a while to be replaced, though!
What a wonderful experience! From the time we pulled up in front of the hotel we were treated like a king and queen! Everyone who worked there was amazing and very accommodating. They took care of anything you could possibly want or need. Great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. The restaurants in the hotel were five star. The gym, spa and pool were very nice and clean and the breakfast was great! Everything was within walking distance that we wanted to see. We had so much fun with everyone that worked there we were sad to have to leave. As far as we were concerned a five star didn’t do it justice. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely one of the best hotels we have stayed in any where in Europe. The staff are super efficient, friendly, polite and helpful regardless if they are the bell hops, front desk, house keeping or management. All are five star plus! Rooms are super clean and bathrooms are marble with showers that will absolutely soak your body with strong water pressure. Bed was comfortable and rooms were large. AC worked great through the heat wave. We were there only one night before joining a Uniworld Riverboat cruise. It’s right across from the Porto instagram sign. I highly recommend this comfortable, quiet and pleasant hotel for any occasion.
Pleasant room, friendly front desk and breakfast staff, good location. Being there for Festa de São João do Porto was especially pleasant, although the earplugs that were provided with the turndown that evening were certainly needed. The only sour note was the poor service we received at Yakuza restaurant from a young waiter who talked over us, told us what to order, reached over and touched our food, and forgot to bring our drinks. He sniffed repeatedly and spoke excitedly. Otherwise however the hotel was up to standard with very pleasant pool and spa facilities and excellent and helpful porters and reception staff. I would return, hopefully when the fine dining restaurant is open.
This is the single best experience we have had with a hotel. We were only in Porto for 2 nights, but the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. It was our ten year anniversary and the staffs attention to detail truly made it a special occasion. Greatly appreciated everything, from the service to the cleanliness, to the spa, and the breakfast boxes they made available when we had to check out in the early morning for our flight! I can't recommend this hotel enough, incredible experience!
