We had an absolutely incredible stay at Sé Catedral Hotel Porto! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier. The entire front-of-house team is wonderful, providing a highly professional yet incredibly warm level of service. The Standout Staff: Lucio: A massive special shout-out to Lucio, who went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly looked after and always kept us well-supplied with tea! Rogerio: Another huge shout-out to Rogerio for his brilliant hospitality and helpfulness. Bonus touch: The hotel left delicious, fresh custard tarts in our room daily a lovely gesture that we looked forward to every day! The Room & Amenities: Peaceful & Clean: Our room was spotless, modern, and brilliantly soundproofed, offering a quiet oasis right in the center of the city. Great Facilities: Having an on-site restaurant and room service made our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. The Location: You couldn't ask for a better base in Porto. Sightseeing: It is barely a 4-minute walk to the Cathedral. Pastry Lovers' Paradise: A quick 10-minute stroll takes you straight to the city's best pastel de nata spots (including Manteigaria, Fábrica da Nata, and Castro - Atelier de Pastéis de Nata). Transport: If you prefer using the metro, there is a station directly outside the hotel door. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat whenever we return to Porto. Highly recommended!

Se Catedral Hotel exceeded every expectation and is easily one of the best boutique hotels in the city. The location is absolutely perfect, steps from Porto Cathedral, the historic center, the Douro River, Luis I bridge, and top Porto’s attractions, restaurants, and viewpoints. It made exploring the city effortless. The hotel has incredible branding and a unique identity. Every detail, from the architecture to the interior design, feels intentional, elegant, and modern while respecting Porto’s historic character. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. Most importantly, the hospitality was exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Diana, Rafael, and João Pedro at the front desk. They were genuinely warm, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with recommendations and anything we needed. Housekeeping deserves special recognition for keeping our room spotless every day. They truly elevated our experience. We hope to be back soon!

Can’t say enough about this hotel! It’s in a perfect location (minutes from beautiful San Bento train station, a 100 ft from Se Cathedral, and 1/4 mile from the iconic Luis I bridge & Douro riverfront)! Our family of three arrived with one of celebrating a birthday during checking day and they went above and beyond to help us celebrate with champagne, chocolate cake, Port wine and Pastel de natas! Hotel was luxury boutique, abundant/delicious breakfast, reasonable and immaculate! Can’t wait to come back - well done friendly and helpful staff!

First night in Porto. Wonderful location. However, the hotel does not have any places you can sit in the morning to read or hang out outside your room. The front desk employee would not even attempt to accomodate and let me sit in the restaurant.
