Neya Porto Hotel

Beautiful hotel,fantastic location. First visit to porto, unsure where to stay to access the city,this is hotel ticks all the boxes! Cool rooftop bar, amazing sunsets, good selection of cocktails. It is very walkable and flat where the hotel is. A tram stop almost outside the hotel. This was great to go to foz for a day at the beach. You can easily walk to all the central locations, some of course are hilly!!! The bridge is roughly a 15minute walk,mostly flat hugging the river. Our room was spotless, with pastel del nata and a note, lovely touch. Our room overlooked the courtyard, peaceful and so pretty. The restoration with the old and the new is stunning. The breakfast was decent, the dining room has views of the river, which is really nice. All round great hotel!

Do not stay here! We feel totally duped. This is not a high end hotel. The rooms are outdated and ours was stained everywhere. The location is not what you want. We knew it was not in the city centre, but overlooked it as so many reviews said “great location”. It is not! We expected more of a high end experience. We paid extra for a king bed only to find out the higher cost room did not have a river view (literally the only reason to stay here). We then had to pay $200 more for a room - would not care but found out that it was priced less than our original. No full length mirror or other conveniences that usually come with a “luxury” hotel. For example, they offer a combo hand/body/hair wash. Minimal amenities. So very disappointed with our stay here.

I held a meeting here and i could not have had a better experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient over email in the lead up to the meeting. They were then incredibly proactive during the meeting itself. The Pedro room is beatiful and has a ton of natural light. Food was great. Staff were very friendly and helped set up all the AV equipment. Would really recommend to hold meetings here.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect—right on the river and within easy reach of everything we wanted to see. A special thank you to Gabriel, who provided exceptional service and made us feel genuinely welcome. He went above and beyond and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the complimentary filtered water station in the lobby, which made it easy to refill our water bottles—a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
