Mercure Porto Centro Santa Catarina

The hotel was rated average, it is above average for sure. Nice staff, good breakfast and bar area. Great rooms, AC, beds were hard but our bodies weren’t sore in the morning. Good location, lots of fun exploring to do in Porto. Thank you Mercure!

Excellent stay. The location of this hotel is great for exploring Porto, everything is a short walk away and there are numerous bus/metro connections nearby. The room was a nice size and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Despite the central location, there were no disturbances from outside noise. The reception staff were friendly and always willing to help, especially with my late evening arrival. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Porto.

My brother and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Mercure Porto Centro Santa Catarina. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic district just up the hill from the São Bento train station. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. We were on the 6th floor with a view of São Bento, Time Out Market, a sliver of the Atlantic and Clegrios Tower. We had the buffet breakfast each morning. It was good and had a wide variety of items. My favorite were the fresh fruits and some of the breads. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will return again to this hotel.

Checked in on the day the championship party was taking place. And despite how close we were to the event & how loud it was outside, we didn't hear much of it in our room. Shower was good, just have to be careful to not flood the bathroom. Complimentary water in room. Comfy bed. Lovely staff. Very good location- walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants. We had some issues with our room air con. Complained about it the next day and they immediately dealt with it. They offered us a fan but as it would not have resolved the issue, they offered to swapped our room which was highly appreciated. Everything was dealt with so smoothly. Highly recommend them and would definitely stay there again if we are back in Porto. We paid to have breakfast one day but preferred external options more so we ended up going to other cafes.
