Outstanding hospitality at a gem of a hotel in Porto!!!
Had a fantastic stay at Exmo Hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Porto, but the standout feature is definitely the staff. Jaquelina at the front desk is worth special mention for her exceptional service. She guided us with excellent local restaurant suggestions and general information about Porto. For someone so young, she displayed an amazing amount of poise, was wonderfully well-spoken, and was deeply knowledgeable. Thank you, Jaquelina for that warm yet professional welcome!
My wife and I had a great stay at Exmo. Hotel this week. We stayed 3 nights in mid-August. The location is very convenient to access the river walk. The rooms are spacious and clean; the shower water pressure is very good. The hotel is built into the original stone architecture that makes it really cool. The lower lobby has a nice library where you can further appreciate the old stone work.
The staff are very nice and helpful. They make sure you are having a great stay. There was a random power outage one morning (very early morning like 4AM) that affected the whole block, which meant for a more-limited offering at breakfast that morning, but otherwise a very good stay! Would definitely recommend this for any of our friends and family for a future trip.
Located on a busy road in historic part of Porto so no dedicated drop off or pick up spot just pull up on side of road.
Housekeeping is very poor - they didn't even bother coming one day and forgot some things on another day.
Room decor is ultra modern industrial not compatible with the building or location.
The unholy interior designer thought it was a good idea to put polished concrete on the floor in the entire bathroom including the giant shower!!
Very little storage for clothes. 3 steps from reception to the elevator!! Mobility impaired people pulling their medium size suitcases will find it a strain!
Rooms are spacious and reception staff are amazing but I think the hotel is probably overpriced and undermanaged!
We had a wonderful stay at EXMO. Hotel in Porto. anniversary. The location is excellent. Within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions, restaurants, and the riverfront. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A great boutique hotel that I would gladly stay at again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Porto.
My wife and I recently stayed at Exmo and we had an excellent experience. We had a fabulous room facing the back which overlooks the Duoro River and the room had everything we could have wished for (and more). We were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom! The location is very convenient for exploring Porto and we never once needed an Uber other than going to the airport. The breakfast buffet was excellent and service was great. I highly recommend Exmo and we will definitely come back.
