Great guide/driver, kind, respectful, nice and informative. All the sites visited were beautiful and the included lunch was delicious.

Pickup location at dock not coordinated between driver and Viator. He claims it was supplied to him. Wasted an hour trying to find each other. Tour was good but 2h shorter than advertised (and what we paid for). He did allow us to get several good photos.

Since I had such a good experience with this company last year, I decide to use them again when I returned with my friend this year. They did amazing job to ensure that my friend and I were having a good time and gave an alternative options when there was a road closure to a site. Even though, I took this tour last year I was able to still see new things. My favorite place on this tour was the Great Bassin Sacred Lake. I felt very connected there filled peace and calm. Before lunch we were offered some delicious Mauritian snacks gato del, gato pomme de terre, Baja, and some samosas. For lunch we went to Comlone restaurant and was recommended the magic bowl which I had before, and it was quite delicious. On our way home our driver was nice enough to take the scenic coastal route so we could see the coastline. I highly recommend this company because they want to make sure you have the best experience while visiting Mauritius.

Great Package Great food At 1st i was angry , the driver was a bit late and they informed me that they had traffic but as the journey went by, i realised that Mauritius is indeed paradise, Great tour with a lot of things to see , our guide was fantastic and hope he is not late again :D The food was amazing, i forgot the restaurant name but amazing waiters who gave me warm water as i was bit car sick from all the driving, in the end i must say i recommend this to those who wants to discover the south of Mauritius in Depth !

The driver was excellent, friendly and speaks English well. I was expecting a guided tour but what we have is a driver tour. The driver dropped us off at the spot and left us to walk around and follow signs. Much was left to do our own tour.

We had a great tour with Hans our driver, he was fantastic on where to take us, we saw monkeys, ate street food and was a memorable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 👌

What an experience. Good food. Good views . Just start the tour early prefer say 7hr30 or 8 at last to avoid the heavy traffic. Otherwise all is good. I loved the tour . It was very hot and you will need to tell the driver to put full AC because I can notice that the Mauritians are used to the heat and they don't feel like us. I saw many Mauritians wearing jackets in the scorching sun and me and my wife was sweating a lot. But a nice experience. Thanks Beguided. Beware!! We were railroaded to multiple shopping stops not disclosed on the itinerary; lunch was inedible; driver would not use AC when asked; driver could not be contacted or located at pickup for 45 mins; driver's knowledge was subpar; tour operator was most unprofessional in addressing our concerns. If I could give minus stars, I would. This was disgraceful.

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide C Hans was fantastic and catered the tour for us. One activity on the itinerary was closed due to the damage caused by the cyclone, but C Hans managed to find an alternative activity. I would highly recommend this experience and C Hans if you want to experience and see the real mauritius. We loved every minute, just amazing!

Hans was such a blessing in our vacation planning! We had originally planned on going somewhere else and I’m so thankful that Hans was able to step in to help us create the best vacation possible. He was always very helpful no matter what.

Worst travel operator The viewpoint were beautiful but lunch included was a total disaster and so expensive tour. We book this tour with a german speaking guide we ended up with a non german not even an english speaking guide we were also promised to be in a SUV but ended up in a small uncomfortable taxi.Choose other company don’t waste your time with them

We stopped and saw the great Shiva, and went to the lake to see the other forms of Shiva. We went to Black River National Park and saw the Alexandra and Chamarel Falls, Chamarel colored earth, and the tortoises. Fantastic tour. The itinerary is well-planned: no duds, just one fantastic experience after another. The guide (Harsh Dindoyal) went above and beyond, introducing me to Mauritian history, culture and food on top of being punctual and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I regretfully booked a tour with Be guided Tour Company, and it was an absolute disappointment. From start to finish, the experience was a letdown. The booking process was confusing and poorly managed. The tour itself was lackluster, with an uninterested guide who provided minimal information. The transportation was uncomfortable. I strongly discourage anyone from choosing them. Seek out a more reliable and customer-oriented tour company for a better experience.

We had a really great tour of the south ofMauritius with Beguided Tours. Our guide collected us from our hotel. The pick up time was communicated the day before for ease. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout and we were able to do the tour at our own pace. The tour was excellent value for money. Our trip was altered the night before with good communication from the tour guide due to a closed road so some attractions were removed as unreachable but others added at our wishes and approval. We started at floreal which is where you get to see boats being made and then taste local rum. This wasn’t my favourite part of the trip as you get followed round the shop after each event for sales 😆 I just walked very fast! But the rum was good that I tasted! Next stop was Trou aux cerf. Hard to believe it’s a dormant volcano as ever so green. Worth a visit but doesn’t take too much time to walk around and see. All the attractions are close to one another (15 mins apart). Our favourite parts of the trip followed! We really enjoyed Grand bassin sacred lake. Such a peaceful place to visit. Then Alexandre falls which was beautiful and there is a lovely forest park which you walk through with monkeys to get to the viewpoint. Maccabe viewpoint was next which is worth the visit as it has amazing views. Lastly we went to Chamarel viewpoint(ile au benitier view), Chamarel waterfall and Chamarel coloured earth which are worth the visit. We got to see giant tortoise. My husband wasn’t so taken on the coloured sand but I thought it was beautiful and the park area that surrounds it is privately owned and very well kept. Lunch was pleasant and we got 3 courses due to road closure which was a nice gesture. I would recommend this tour. Could communications from Hans and good guide Ramesh.

The weather in Mauritius is unpredictable, so we could only confirm whether the tour was happening or not the morning of the tour. It was raining on the Western side of the island, but not so much in the South West. The tour takes you to beautiful spots on the island. My favourites were the Sacred Lake, Maccabe Viewpoint and the Maccabe Waterfall, Le Morne and Gris Gris beach. The energy at these places are different from the other spots that you go to. I honestly could have sat at these places for the entire day, so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Fish at Le Morne beach swim right at the water’s edge and Gris Gris beach seems quite ‘untouched’, which makes it extremely beautiful and different from the other beaches on the island. Hans from Beguided Tours was my guide and he was amazing! I did the tour alone and he made me feel completely comfortable and educated me the entire journey on Mauritians and the Mauritian culture. We stopped on the way for Dholl Puri and Chilli Bites, which is something every tourist needs to try, it’s delicious. As we were driving, there were people on the road picking something off the trees, Hans stopped and picked some for me, they were Goyave de Chine or Chinese Guavas – they were good, a sweet-sour kind of taste. We stopped for lunch in Surinam Village and had lunch at Chez Ajay Specialitѐ Boulettes, a quaint little restaurant, and the food was good. Thank you Hans for such a special tour of the south, you are very appreciated.

I had a great experience with the South of Mauritius full day package organized by Beguided tours as well as with Viator services. I booked the package one day prior to the tour and it was still possible und without problems for the tour to be organized. I spent a great day with Hans who showed me the south of his country. It was a unique experience since I spent the whole day with a local and learned a lot about Mauritius and the life there - that was a great advantage of a private tour and it felt very unique at the end. So one gets to visit very beautiful spots that are known only by locals and that are not full of tourists. Besides, one does not get annoyed by commercial stops, where one is expected to taste and to buy something. The tour gave me a great feeling of getting to know the island from inside and I highly recommend to go for tours organized and planed by Beguided tours.

I went on one of the most amazing experience of rum tasting. The guide was very nice to us. Charismatic and tour was amazing. Was in the dilea of car renting and tour guide for the day. Did not regret my tour guide decision at all. Totally worth it. Highly recommended

Couldn't feel the time go by. Loved the tour, ease of conversations and getting to know the secret spots for food. Especially for tourists, having a local look out for you is way more comfortable than trying to figure it out on your own.

Good reputation in Mauritius, the owner himself is a good person they did the very best to satify our journey. Had the most wonderful holiday ever.

We were supposed to do the excursion on Saturday, but due to bad weather, it was suggested to postpone it to Sunday. I do not know if it is because it is Sunday, but we did not complete the entire tour: Large basin: we did not go to the lax, we only saw the 2 statues. Alexandra Falls: we went to the viewpoint right after, very pretty but no waterfall. Floral: Not done Return to the hotel around 1:30 PM instead of 3 PM. Suggesting a postponement is very good, but it is necessary to inform if everything cannot be done.

We had our trip with Jameel. Jameel is a really nice travel companion and has shared a lot of information with us. It was a wonderful rich day trip and we enjoyed the day very much. The pace has been completely adapted to our needs. Lunch was plentiful and really delicious. Five stars - Mega

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag. Wir wurden pünktlich zur vereinbarten Zeit im Hotel abgeholt und Vic, unser Fahrer hat uns gleich zu Beginn den Tagesverlauf erläutert. Er war sehr freundlich und ist jederzeit auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Das Mittagessen war total lecker und ausreichend. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener, sehr schöner Tag, vollgepackt mit tollen Erlebnissen.
