Le Suffren Hotel & Marina

I stayed there last weekend, the first day everything went fine. I had a nice welcome and an amazing room with a beautiful view on the harbour. The shuttle boat was working but the driver was on a lunch break around 2pm. I was in a hurry. Thankfully he came and I could leave, it made wondering about the next day. I asked the receptionist about the shuttle boat for the next day in the afternoon as I had my appointment sharp at 5pm. She assured me that if the boat isn't working , we will have a shuttle bus. The next day, when I went to take the boat. They said to me it had broken down. I went to the reception and was surprisingly told that the next shuttle but would be at 5.45 pm. The small children who were waiting had to walk to caudan before the performance. It was really not fair! The receptionist was rude to me and told me that he will call the duty manager. I told her that's fine for me. I was leaving to get ready, When i overheard her call, she was referring me as ti madam maigre maigre. I went back and told her that I heard her how she talked about me and I don't like that. She raised her voice and told me that she never said that. I assume there are cameras to verify her talking on the phone. The duty manager came and he was very kind, he listened to me and he was wonderful even giving me a lift to caudan arts center but I really didn't like the receptionist attitude. She also asked my room number , there was another woman who also complained about the shuttle management.

With prices rising everywhere, I found the dishes here to be very reasonably priced for the quality of the food, the beautiful setting, and the overall experience. It’s a refreshing change from dining at a mall food court or a typical restaurant. The service is of an international standard, professional, attentive, and polished. I had the braised lamb, and it was excellent: tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The menu also offers unique dishes that you won’t find everywhere, which adds to the appeal. If you’re looking for a more upscale venue with great food and service without paying premium fine-dining prices, this place offers outstanding value.

The staff's service is exemplary. The reception staff's greeting and warmth are evident from the moment I arrive, and my daughter's service is exceptional specially Mutten go beyond to make you feel at ease. Manuella, the housekeeper, is an exceptional individual. Due to my allergy to dust, I report to her that I feel uncomfortable on my first night. She promptly reports this to her manager, and attempts to resolve the issue. Manuella ensures that the room is kept clean and fresh every day during my one-week visit.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service and leadership demonstrated by Atish  Beekharry the hotel manager.From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the hotel is managed with exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests. The manager consistently ensured that every aspect  of my lunch  was enjoyable. His  friendly demeanor, prompt assistance, and commitment to excellence created a welcoming atmosphere that truly set this hotel apart. Any questions or requests were handled efficiently and with a positive attitude, reflecting a high standard of customer service. It is rare to encounter a manager who is so dedicated to both guest satisfaction and maintaining an exceptional hospitality experience. His  leadership is clearly reflected in the professionalism of the staff and the overall quality of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and would like to commend the manager for their remarkable work. Thank you for making my lunch at pomme de mat memorable and enjoyable.
