Kayaking In Mreznica Waterfalls Near Slunj And Plitvice Lakes

We had a great time on this tour - one of the best activities of our holiday!! The guide was well-informed and friendly. We jumped off several Waterfalls and had a generally fantastic time. Definitely book this one!

Fabulous experience! Was such fun and great value for money as on the water for almost 3 hours. Milan was our guide and was really attentive, polite and professional. Lots of kayaking, jumping, waterfalls and a few rapids thrown in. Highly recommend! Only build is the directions they provided take us to the wrong place and had to be helped by a local. No big deal, just worth stating so the location provided can be corrected! Thanks!

It was so much fun and while adventurous , it felt very safe. The river was beautiful. Loved our guide. Read the reviews where people write instructions on how to find the building. It was helpful!

Everything was perfect, everyone was friendly and helpful. Valentino was a great guide. After I lost my phone in the river, he even called s diver to try and locate it. We are certainly coming back.

We had a lovely time kayaking in the lake, swimming and jumping off the rocks into the canyon, worth every penny. A well organised, superb outdoor activity to do when you are in Croatia

Just the right mix of fun, thrills, play, and scenery. It was a bit hard to find (just go to the end of the paved road, along the gravel bit, to where it's paved again -- all the way to the river), but well worth the trek. Our guide knew the area well and allowed for all levels of adventure. The stretch of river was simply beautiful. 100% would recommend it for others.

Such a perfect day it was! We came earlier so we went to the nearby beach to swim a little and enjoy in Mrežnica before the big adventure :) Just as I expected - kayaking was not too long, not too short. Alex is very professional and relaxed at the same time, so it was easy literally just to go with the flow, without worrying about anything. Highest recommendations💫💫💫💫💫

Amazing adventure with a legendary guide Valentino. The nature is breathtaking and at moments feels surreal. The tour is perfectly balanced between relaxation and canonying challenges. Waterfalls, jumps, rapids, amazing staff…Absolutely reccommend to everyone!

Great adventure, the nature around Mreznica river is mesmerizing. I love the wooden terrace overlooking the river where you can chill out after kayaking.

It was amazing. I loved everything about it. The scenery is incredible! Even before I had arrived in Croatia I had been kept well informed of everything I needed to know and more. They went above and beyond to give me the best advice for my trip and how to travel. The advice was excellent and was way more than expected from a trip host. They’re wonderful people, who are so friendly and will give you the best experience. It’s exciting and often breathtaking along the trip. Well organized tour on a beautifull river! There are multiple slides down a (small) waterfall. If you feel like it you can also swim near the base. Everything is well taken care of!

Jumping from waterfalls was so much fun. We really enjoyed the whole route down the river. Organization was great, hosts are really friendly and kind.

The highlight of our holiday! Highly recommended - skilfully guided, easy to find and organise and all equipment was provided. Our 9 year old daughter had the best time too - well within her capabilities and totally safe whilst providing a real sense of adventure. It was great fun kayaking with Discover Mreznica with our two kids of 12 and 14 years old. We were part of a bigger group, 8 kayaks. Various nationalities, various ages, including younger children. The trip consists of dropping down multiple waterfalls (various heights) with short parts of easy kayaking in between. There is always a guide helping you at the waterfalls. One very heigh waterfall cannot be done by boat so you have to jump down (different points, ca 8m / 5m / 3m). Safe to jump, the water is very deep at this point. If you really don't want to jump you can bypass it. Later there is waterfall where one person stays in the boat, the other has to jump, no bypass (I think about 3m, maybe some point closer to 2m). Surroundings are really beautiful, don't forget to look back at the waterfalls. Can compete with plitvice. Materials are good. We were provided water shoes, wetsuit, life jacket and waterbag. I took my phone to take some pictures along the way. Everyone had a great time, I can heighly recommend this trip.

Kayaking down a beautiful river with waterfalls and jumps. As a family, our youngest child is 7 years old (you must know how to swim). Exceptional!

We got lucky! Our group consisted of us (2 adults and 2 children 9 & 11) and another person, as well as our guide Martin. Since the group was so small, Martin had been able to take very good care of us beginners. He told us a lot about nature and the places. The tour was just right for us beginners. Not too long and too fierce, but there was still thrill for us. Can we absolutely recommend!

Vožnja kanuom na rijeci Mrežnici bila je zaista nezaboravno iskustvo! Rijeka je nevjerojatno lijepa, s kristalno čistom tirkiznom vodom i prekrasnim prirodnim okruženjem. Putovanje je bilo istovremeno mirno i uzbudljivo, s puno prilika da se divimo bujnom zelenilu i prekrasnim slapovima uz put. Ruta za vožnju kanuom je dobro organizirana i prikladna za početnike kao i za iskusnije veslače. Vodiči su bili ljubazni, stručni i pobrinuli su se da svi budu sigurni i da se dobro zabavljaju. Sjajno smo se proveli veslajući po blagim brzacima i uživajući u mirnim dijelovima gdje smo mogli uživati u prekrasnom krajoliku i kupanju. Ako tražite zabavnu i osvježavajuću avanturu na otvorenom, toplo preporučujem vožnju kanuom na rijeci Mrežnici. To je savršen način da se povežete s prirodom i uživate u ljepoti Hrvatske. Jedva čekam ponovno doći!

Super leuk om te doen, beetje een mix van kanoën en cayoning, mooie omgeving echter is het meer en de watervallen van Plitvice nog wel een eind hiervandaan. Om die reden was dit zeker niet minder de moeite waard. Aanrader

Iskustvo je bilo predivno i svakako se vidimo opet.Vodič Valentino je prava legenda u sve nas je uputio i objasnio. Zabavno,zanimljivo,lijepo,vrijeme nas je poslužilo,tako da smo se kupali,skakali,plivali i još puno toga :))))

Een hele fijne namiddag gehad hier. We waren enkel met ons vieren als gezin, daar we die dag blijkbaar alleen geboekt hadden. Dit maakte het een super-fijne gezinsactiviteit. Onze gids "Valentino" heeft ons hier mooi begeleid. Er was toen ook een festival te doen "Bear Stone Festival" wat voor wat muziek en extra sfeer zorgde tegen het einde aan. Heel mooie omgeving, prachtige natuur. watervalletjes afgaan met de kajak en springen van de rotsen... Onvergetelijk...😊

Super nam je bilo, baš smo svi oduševljeni! I odrasli i klinci! Jako ste dobro poslozili rutu, red veslanja, red slapova, red kupanja... Dinamika rute nije prenaporna, priroda je prekrasna i uz pauzice za kupanje i ručak sve prođe laganini. Organizacija je odlična, sva potrebna oprema dobije se od organizatora. I sve pohvale za našeg voditelja ture Valentina!

It was a great experience. It is fun for adults and children. The tour Guide (Falatino) takes all the time to get us to our liking. He's enthusiastic and funny. You can jump off waterfalls and swim. There are many other companies where you can canoe, but it is best to take this one. This is the only one right next to the river. You do not have to walk down the styles of slopes yourself with a canoe. Afterwards you can have a drink in their wooden forest house with a fantastic view of the waterfalls (one of the many)
