Spotless, modern, and quiet hotel with very comfortable twin beds and stylish room design. The bathroom was immaculate, featuring warm tile finishes, great lighting, and a modern glass walk-in shower. Friendly staff and an excellent, comfortable stay overall.
The food is good, but the service gets 3 stars only for bringing us food that we didn't order. Instead of popular "pekarski" potatoes, they gave us french fries saying that they were out of stock.
We were very disappointed with our experience at this hotel. We arrived around 10:08 PM after a long drive, tired and very hungry. At check-in, we specifically asked if we could still have dinner. The receptionist told us that the kitchen was open until 10:30 PM, the restaurant until 11:00 PM, and assured us that room service was available. We went straight to our room, but the phone was not working, so it was impossible to order food. My husband went back to reception to explain the problem. Instead of calling the restaurant or helping us place an order, the receptionist simply told him to go to the restaurant in person. When he arrived, it was still before 10:30 PM, yet the restaurant staff refused to serve him, saying the kitchen was already closed. He returned to reception and explained the situation again, but no one made any effort to help. Nobody tried to contact the restaurant, find a solution, or show any understanding. The only thing we were offered was to buy drinks. As a result, because of the broken phone in our room and the complete lack of assistance from the staff, we went to bed hungry after a full day of traveling. This is not the level of service we expected from a 4-star hotel. Problems can happen, but what disappointed us most was the staff’s complete unwillingness to help their guests.
Our family stopped here for an overnight stay in the hotel in order to get an early start in the morning for Plitvice. We stayed in the family room with 2 bedrooms and a small living area. The room was extremely clean, updated, and very comfortable. There was a café off the breakfast area that served à la carte breakfast items and very good coffees. We did not eat the hotel buffet breakfast. Staff was incredibly friendly. This hotel was an excellent value.
Greatly appreciated the thoughtful and kind support by Ivica at the reception. He was most understanding and flexible about the breakfast, the check-out and the door, that would not lock. Made me feel very welcome. Huge and tasty breakfast. Most welcoming to my dog. Tourist village Rastoke is just a five minute drive away. Bedroom modern and spacious. A nice place to break one‘s journey.
