Loch Rannoch Hotel And Spa

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Staff were really helpful, welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and views were fabulous. Access to the spa was great although the facilities are not as up to date as other parts of the hotel. We had meals in both restaurants, the food was delicious. Service was good, despite being a little rushed on one evening, however this could have been due to a large noisy party that negatively impacted our overall experience. Breakfast has a good selection and everything was very tasty - delicious pastries too! I would definitely recommend and we may return but I will ask about the dining arrangements before booking the more expensive option.

Staff is very attentive and helpful, the hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful location, easy access to hiking nearby. Pool & sauna facilities were also nice although there was a bit of leaking happening when it started raining. Massage at the spa was great! Charging port for our EV made things really easy to get around. Food at the pub style restaurant was quite good, especially the fish and chips and a really good beer selection. The more upscale dining experience unfortunately really wasn't worth it in our opinion, maybe they should focus on the concept more. Breakfast was really solid and good vegetarian option.

There is plenty of parking available. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a Heritage Double Room with views of the Loch. The room was spacious and comfy and had all the amenities needed, with views of the Loch and Schiehallion which were amazing. The bathroom was on the small side, but perfectly functional. We ate in the Wild Brownie restaurant. My compliments to the chefs as the food was excellent. Breakfast both mornings was good, although on the first morning it was better as it was particularly cooked to order, the second morning it was buffet service. We visited the spa which was very relaxing, especially as we were the only couple there for an hour, very peaceful! We also walked to the marina which again was very peaceful. All in all a very lovely and relaxing stay!

We stayed at Loch Rannoch Hotel for two nights bed and breakfast. We had a Heritage Double Room with loch view. The Heritage rooms are in the original building and our room was on the second floor. Our bedroom was really spacious with great amenities and a coffee table with two chairs by the window. However, please be aware if you book this room, the bathroom is very small. It has a shower, toilet and sink but barely any floor space. It is perfectly functional and this compromise is more than made up for by the absolutely magnificent view from the room of Loch Rannoch and Shiehallion. WiFi was very patchy at times but when it worked it was adequate. The location of the hotel is very good for both walking and exploring in a car. Breakfast was excellent on the first morning with everything cooked to order, lots of staff and first class service. The second morning was a buffet breakfast but still good although service was significantly slower due to a lot less staff. We ate at The Wild Brownie one night and the food was superb, reasonably priced and very good service. We used the spa once and had it to ourselves for a whole hour! A very relaxing experience. Overall, a very satisfying stay with mostly excellent service which was fairly good value for money in an incredibly beautiful location.
