Whew, I thought I was gonna die! I was so sick. The waves were out of control! The crew were wonderful taking care of all of us that were sick. Those guys earned every baht!! The snorkeling was amazing. I did not like any of the pictures that were taken because you never had any idea you were getting photographed.

Absolutely worth the money, even if you left early in the morning and came back a 6pm to the hotel, the day was too short. Plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the beach, the view and the sealife. I cam highly recommend this day trip.
Absolutely brilliant. The islands are so beautiful, the water colour the most amazing aqua blue and the sand so soft and pearly white. The crew and company looked after us all so well. Cheers in particular to Cella! The food service was also amazing. Thank you so much for an unforgettable day!
A very enjoyable and well-organized whole day trip. The crew on the boat deserves special recognition: they were fully engaged, eager to help, and always smiling. The resident guide who accompanied us was also professional and helpful. It is a popular place so it can get a bit crowded at times, but everyone will find their moment to capture the beautiful views. We had a great time and the views were beautiful, so I can recommend this trip with a clear conscience.
Amazing view and super friendly staff! Loved every moment. Thankyou for organizing it so well.
I had a wonderful experience visiting the Similan Islands. The organization of the tour was excellent from start to finish, everything was smooth and well planned. The two guides were very professional, friendly, and gave clear instructions that made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. I also really appreciated the attention to dietary preferences. Since I don’t eat meat, they kindly offered me a fish option, which was thoughtful and much appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Similan Islands!
We were super unprepared for the 2hour drive to the pier from Patong. When we arrived food and drink was available which was a nice inclusion. The trip to the first island was 1.5hours so thankfully we ate at the pier because by this time it was 11am which is pre-lunch time. Getting into the first island is like a game on survivor. Once you’re on though the sands are white and soft and the water a beautiful blue. Swimming is difficult because there is rocks just off the shore. After 45 mins on this island we went to 2 different snorkelling spots and I’m wondering when lunch is going to be because heck, we are getting hungry. The snorkelling spots were lovely and we spotted a lot of sea life. We then stopped at our last island for lunch which was more like afternoon tea/dinner at this point. This island was easier to access and again the beach was beautiful and you could swim safely without having your feet shredded by rocks. Trying to get a nice photo is near impossible because you’ve got a lot of people trying to do the same. Our guide Dada was amazing. She kept us well informed of times between islands and what we were doing and what to expect.
The food was too basic and the beaches too crowded. Islands are beautiful but a long day traveling to and from the pier. Would recommend when it's not so busy and noisy
We booked this the night before and regretted noting. This tour was fun, organized, and entertaining
Brilliant day from start to finish!! We were picked up at 0630am and arrived back at the hotel around 2030pm. We were provided with breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruit, cake and unlimited water and fizzy drinks. John and his team were amazing in showing us the islands, providing us with information and showing us how to snorkel. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Absolutely book this whole day tour—don’t think twice! We got incredibly lucky with the weather: sunny skies and minimal wind. The journey from our hotel took 2 hours by van, followed by a smooth 1h20m boat ride. Breakfast lunch dinner with fruit snack in between + unlimited soft drinks provided. Our guide Dada and the crew were outstanding—we felt super safe the whole time. You visit three stunning islands, with snorkeling included 2x30 min total. We spotted beautiful coral reefs and a turtle—talk about luck! The highlight? The Similan Islands, where Mother Nature’s unreal beauty truly shines.
Had a great day, tour was very professionally organised and very smooth. Staff was incredibly nice, the food they have provided was lovely and the boat was very clean and fast.
This tour was the highlight of my trip. Similan islands are sooo beautiful, the boat was new, clean and very safe! They thought about all the little things, from little candy inbetween stops, to remedies for if you get seasick. Special shout out to Jon who made my day as a solo traveler extra nice. He even went into the water with me to take pictures and there is also a professional photographer there all day to take all the pics you want, FOR FREE! The day did not feel rushed and it was amazing! 10/10!!
Many articles and online recommendations described the Similan Islands day trip as a must-do, something to save for the end of your stay because of its supposedly magical scenery. The reality, however, is quite different. The places are extremely crowded, and the snorkeling is honestly quite disappointing. If you have already been to the Seychelles (for the beaches and granite rocks), Mauritius, or other destinations known for great snorkeling, you will likely feel underwhelmed. The snorkeling takes place in a real sea of people. Even if you try to swim a bit farther away, there is simply too much activity to hope for interesting marine life or even a peaceful moment. On top of that, it is a very long day: an early morning departure and a late return, with long waiting times — especially at the canteen at the beginning and at the end of the excursion. The boat itself is powerful, but unless you are lucky enough to sit on the outer rows, you don’t really enjoy the crossing at all. In short, this excursion is largely overhyped. It may impress some travelers, but for those who have already experienced truly beautiful natural sites elsewhere, it can be quite disappointing.
Very well organized and very fun beautiful islands . A little crowded at points but that’s to be expected. Would recommend
The tour was scheduled with suitable itinerary at each island, the English tour guide was extremely helpful and had a good sense of humor to communicate with all guests throughout the whole tour. Snorkeling and swimming activities were organized with all safety measures provided. Generally it was an excellent experience to spend time at this beautiful island with good service.
I recomment it , very good island and the stuff so friendly . But note the island is so far you will spend about 2h except the picking time but it deserve.
Amazing experience. Beautiful islands. Odeon Tours handled it all so well - they picked us up and dropped us off in Cape Panwa, which is two hours away from their pier. They were generous with food, providing breakfast, snacks, lunch and a small dinner, and it was tasty. They also take pictures of you, if you like, and print them, which you can buy. Our boat team was very attentive, clear and professional. We had plenty of time to experience the islands. Some areas for improvement: (1) Quite crowded on the islands themselves but not too bad. (2) We had some difficulty finding our boat when we finished the first snorkelling session. Some guidance would have been useful here e.g. 'go back to the boat with the big blue turtle on it.' As you go to the same spots as other companies and the boats look very similar. Otherwise, a really excellent experience. Thank you, Odeon Tours!
A must do excursion if you have a whole day to spare. Fluffy white sandy beaches and an abundance of marine life. Special mention to our two hosts "O" and Silver moon x
The Similan Islands are stunning — crystal-clear water, colorful coral reefs, and plenty of fish. Snorkeling was amazing! 🐠 But honestly, the two-hour boat ride to get there was hell. We went against the wind and tide, and the boat was jumping so hard it felt like a rollercoaster — for two hours straight. Even with anti-sickness tablets and the wonderful crew doing everything to help, it was exhausting and uncomfortable. Once we arrived, it was beautiful… but not worth the journey. If you get seasick or dislike rough rides, I’d skip this trip and choose a calmer island experience instead.
Excellent trip , the food and all the arrangements were done very well , we got enough and more time to do sight seeing and snorkel long , it was well timed and spaced and not at all rushed .
I have had the great privilege and pleasure to be able to travel all over the world. I will say this excursion was top 3 in all the places we have been. There were many who got sick on the boat ride there and they took care of each and everyone. The crew was able to communicate who needed what and not make the passengers feel bad for getting sick; we think one lady passed out. They took care of pick up and drop off, food before during and after we got back. Plus they did the extras of taking pictures of you or getting the great shot with your go pro for you. The service was top notch all the way around and yes the islands were amazing but you can tell that from any photo taken… you. Any say that about service and they out did themselves!
We were a little disappointed with this tour after reading such amazing reviews. Rain aside (nobody can controle the weather) this tour is super long (13.5 hours from pick-up to drop-off) for the amount of time you actually spend snorkelling and on the islands. The driver they used for our group was super rude, spoke no English and drove so badly that our 8 year old got super car sick on the way home. The snorkelling was beautiful but they kept dropping us in spots with 2-3 other boats making it feel like people soup more than an idyllic outing. Quite commercialised, didn’t feel that premium. The Similan Islands were very pretty but not sure if it was worth the hassle.
This was a very good tour and we would highly recommend it to family and friends. The day was above and beyond our expectations and the whole set up is very professional. We got to the pier and we were met by NayNay and offered a light breakfast (toast, cereal coffee, tea). Then we took a catamaran to the SI. Very smooth boat trip. we were given an hour to look round the first island and because we were on the early bird trip there wasn't as many people there and we could get up to the viewpoint and get some good pictures. Next we went snorkeling which was amazing, we swam with a turtle and lots of different species of fish. I'm not a strong swimmer but Nay Nay and Ten really helped me and gave me a brilliant snorkeling experience which I would of missed out on if not for them. We then moved on to another snorkeling area for 30 mins and then onto the final island for lunch and time to go swimming and take in the sights. White sand and unbelievable clear crystal blue water and then when we got back to the pier there was supper available too. The food and organisation was good and all the staff really made the day special. A big thanks to Nay Nay and Ten.
Great tour, wonderful staff and amazing sites!!! Similan islands were absolutely beautiful and we even saw a sea turtle. Breakfast was okay… more protein, like boiled eggs should be added. Lunch was delicious and they even served us dinner. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our boat was clean, looked like new and the staff put safety first the whole time. I will book with this company again… thank you!!!
Good organized tour guide, pick up from the hotel and return, fast speed boat with 1000 horsepower, lunch boxes only - no buffet
Seeing turtles in their natural habitat was a wish of mine that has been fulfilled. This trip was wonderful. White sands, blue seas and beautiful marine life. What couldn't be better. The only problem we had was that my wife is disabled and walks with a crutch. Getting on and off the boat was a bit of a problem, especially if the sea isn't playing ball. The staff were amazing with both of us and nothing was too much of a problem. Highly recommend this trip
The tour was fantastic – the views were breathtaking and the food was fine. The only issue was a 15-20 minute delay with the driver, which was a bit stressful but didn't impact the trip. Overall, a wonderful experience!
We were at Kamala beach and it was amazing beach, quiet and nice A large area was blocked off where you could just swim and swim which made it all calm and cozy.
Wspaniałe doświadczenie ,polecam !
Mistrzostwo świata piękne plaże,woda i życie pod wodą. Rafy zmieniają się wraz z wyspami jest co pooglądać poniżej lustra wody
It was all well organized and you would arrive early in the morning at the pier. Then the first shock, of the 40 people we were the only non-Russians. Now we enjoyed being the only couple to listen to the booked English guide. The 3 guides and crew were very nice though and the tour was also very nice. 4/5 rating rounded up by me as a conclusion.
Would skip this: the price is really high and the experience is influenced by the masses of people. Nor is snorkeling very special. Few fish. Little variation in coral. To summarize it for real expectations; - breakfast at the pier takes about 45 minutes - you immediately get a puke bag, the boat rocks - the boat is more like a water taxi, with rows of seats - the islands are really very full of tourists, who pose continuously. You maneuver between photo shoots. - Few fishing with snorkeling - people use a lot of sunburn that is harmful to the coral. Little is informed or monitored about this - you really snorkel among 100 men scurrying in life jackets The islands themselves are beautiful, only it is so full that this really makes the experience different. The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly. They deserve a bonus. So this trip: really too expensive and in terms of experience mediocre.
Fantastic trip, friendly guides, good mood. The only one that was negative is a long drive from the hotel, over 2.5 hours per road from karon beach. A bit in excess, did not know it in advance but it is advisable to check in advance. A lot of tourists.
It has been a very nice experience, the only problem we had is that we could not use the otherwise perfect drone, Mini, Tini and Pini perfect, guides of 10. Very attentive and friendly and helped me a lot. If I have to repeat it would be with the same group
Hello, we found this tour as we searched for a tour of Similan Island. We haven’t been to Similana before, it’s the first time we’re going to experience it, so friends and I decided to buy this tour and go. While the pickup time was too early left us hesitating , they picked us up at the exact time they said in the morning. We arrived at Khao Laktaki Pier after a near 1.5 hour bus ride. The tour company Newbie started this work, although the first place we went to was not very good, but they started with a breakfast buffet offer , then briefly explained the tour and showed us where to visit. We were very happy on board the boat because it was a bigger catamaran than the rest. It was both powerful and Newbie and very clean. I know it’s the first time we had such a beautiful and clean sea and islands tour. The islands are so beautiful. The beaches were very good and manmade. We were very pleased. Starting at 6:30 a.m., the tour ended at 8 p.m. and we had an incredible experience. We will definitely go back here as it goes on. Thanks very much.
It was a demoralizing experience, a crowd bath, there was no place to put a towel on the beach and at sea it was all teeming with people wearing life jackets. The furthest thing from a nature experience I can imagine. The tour was certainly very well organized, except perhaps for the quality of the food, the places you see are really spectacular. However, it is impossible to enjoy the beauty of the places, because the tour is organized in hit-and-run style, the snorkeling is very short and there is no time to relax on the beach, because you move all the time. After this tour we cancelled a similar tour to the Surin Islands. To do once and not repeat. I would add that the entire machine, which is activated early in the morning and deactivated late at night, is used to bring as many tourists as possible to the islands, a truly undignified exploitation.
Great experience. The whole day is well organized and you can see some beautiful beaches and snorkel spots. Food and drinks are provided. Also, the staff is super friendly. For this, the relatively higher price is definitely worth it!
A great day that started with a pickup by a good driver and luxury car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great snorkeling and beautiful views. A definitely the best day of the holiday.
The company will be remembered for its negligent and consumerist attitude towards tourists. In a brief meeting with the hotel guide, we were given a stunningly exciting tour. Specifically the Similans. Having visited this excursion, many deceptions and misunderstandings surfaced on the part of guide Natalia 1. We were misled that the tour is authored and conducted directly by the Coral travel operator. In fact, it was an outside organization 2. We were frankly lied to that we would have an extra 2 hours on the island, which no operator has - "exclusive, leave the island after 3:00." In fact, it was a late departure from the pier, so there was a crowd on the island and there is no question of any extra hours. 3. Natalia didn't leave us any host contacts before the tour. 4. At the meetings we were informed that there would be a Russian speaking guide and a Russian band. The deception was that the groups were mixed (again, the fact is that hotel guides are just middlemen) 5. I'm not talking about value for money at all. Price was like a veep author tour, and in fact this was the most showery tour 6. Guide communication is a separate song. The whole dialogue revolved around some sort of company policy, according to which it should not tell us anything (no program, no guides contacts). And to our bewilderment why there are other nationalities in our group - we have been accused of inciting ethnic animosity. Basically, Natalia started threatening us that she had sent the correspondence to head office. 7. When asked to resolve the issue and return the funds, Natalia decided to call the office for clarification, did not call the office and told us to call from Thailand to Moscow . When asked how to do it from Ty correctly, she said there was a local number, as it turned out, that wasn't serviced. 8. According to Natalia, if you take her on a tour of the Similan, any cancellation, even if you get sick and have all the certificates, will cost 1,000 baht, because “it’s Similan and it’s different there”, which Natalia did not explain otherwise 9. No complaints about the guys who had a coral-bought tour, done well
Great excursion, good organization, beautiful sandy beaches and a great snorkeling experience (including sea turtle)
The Similan Islands are a place where nature still speaks in whispers. Sand is like flour, water is clearer than glass, and the sky merges with the horizon into one infinite line. With the Odeon tour, everything was convenient and clear: transfer, boat, guide – everything worked out to detail. I really enjoyed the snorkelling stop - the underwater world seemed to come alive. The only thing that slightly reduced the overall impression is the large number of tourists. I wish there was a little more silence. But even with that, the trip left a feeling of happiness. Similan touched the heart.
The Similan Islands is like a picture from a beautiful film. At first sight, you fall in love: soft sand, turquoise water and the complete feeling that you're far from all the fuss. Let's go with Odeon Tours, an organization at its best: a caring guide, water and fruit, all on schedule. Especially liked how we were led through the most picturesque points - had time both to swim and enjoy the silence. One downside is I wish I could stay longer. Time passed too fast. If you are looking for a place where the soul rests, Similan is worth seeing at least once.
Thank you very much Odeon Tours for a wonderful unforgettable holiday! A trip to the Similan Islands had an indelible impact on our family. Sail Rock with stunning views, snow white sands, clear water, swimming in the high seas with turtles, mask and tubes. Special thanks to Gil Dmitri and his team, it was comfortable, safe (he even handed out masks to avoid inflating the ears on the boat), Dmitri personally monitored the safety, very interesting, fun, informative, everyone was as one team. We believe this is one of the best excursions in Thailand! The transfer was slightly delayed, but it probably wasn't a misunderstanding between the two sides and then the impression of the trip that didn't spoil it at all.
Thank you to Odeon Tours for organizing our unforgettable holiday! A tour of the Similan Islands is a delight! One of the best trips ever in Thailand! Everything was organized perfectly: transfer on time, staff friendly, boat comfortable, guide - special thanks for interesting and useful information . The islands themselves are a fairy tale! Snow white sand, water unrealistically blue and clear. We stayed on two islands. Very much enjoyed snorkelling: the water is warm, great visibility, lots of tropical fish and even saw a sea turtle! And from the viewing platform on island #8 there is an incredible view - it is definitely worth climbing. Back weary but perfectly happy! This excursion is definitely recommended for anyone who wants to see the true beauty of the Andaman Sea.
Beautiful tour! The transfer arrived on time, accompanied by a pleasant guide. Scenic scenery, crystal clear water well and the experience that will stay for a long time 😍
The best islands near Phuket . Water color ,sand ,views super 👍 Thank you Odeon tour ,organization and staff at the highest level .
Best tour I've ever taken in Thailand, an A+ organization! Erudite Russian guide, comfortable catamaran boat, three meals a day, small group , stunning views in the Similan Islands
un poco distanti ma meglio di altre isole. il tour buona gestione dei tempi. Un po' povero il pranzo.
I honestly didn't expect that much, but it was wonderful. The organization, the staff, the beaches everything was perfect! I recommend it to everyone who comes to visit Phuket! Amazing!
