Great guide, lovely day. Sure, we didn’t catch any tuna, but that’s just how fishing goes.

The hotel pickup was well-organized. We were provided with lunch on the boat, which was very well organized. The downside is the trolly fishing. With 10 people on the boat, it's impossible. Perhaps they should actively fish all day to keep everyone occupied.

It was overall a good trip for the money the fishing wasn’t crazy and the rods were old so if you’d like a fishing specific trip I’d book private. Snorkeling was fun but we had brought our own gear.

Good day and managed to nearly everyone landing some good fish, good crew and captain. Bit of wind on the return in open water but never a concern.

The trip was very disappointing. My expectations wasn't even too big since fishing can't be guaranteed. 1. The boat was overcrowded, 9 or 10 people fishing + 3 or 4 kids on board, and had to be in the same side of the boat when dropping the line. You can imagine how hard it was to keep the line not get tangled to each other. 2. The crew was definitely either lazy or was part of SOP, I don't know. But we only moved once. No burley bucket, not even have more than 1 kind of bait. 3. I asked to use a small part of the oily fish that we caught as bait, because we only caught 5 or 6 baby fish, less than 30cm, but the crew refused. 4. We were promised for 2 sessions of fishing and 1 session of swimming & snorkeling. But it was only 1 session of fishing and 1 session of swimming, no snorkeling offered even though it was mentioned in the website that snorkeling equipment is included. 5. The fishing gear were in the beat up condition. 6. No crew really speak english in the boat, the information in the website wasn't true. Overall, this trip is a huge waste of time & money.

Please do not allow trip dates that are full, to be booked online! I booked and paid online for the specific day that suited my holiday. Then later that day I received an email to say the trip was full so they changed my booking. Not easy or ideal!!

Wow, what an unforgettable adventure! Two glorious hours of cruising aimlessly in the middle of the ocean—truly a treat for those who love staring at endless water. Then, the thrill of fishing for less than an hour (talk about a tease!). A quick dip in the ocean for 30 minutes was a nice touch, because who doesn’t enjoy floating around wondering what’s next? Finally, the cherry on top: another leisurely hour ride back to Phuket town. Expectations? Met… if my expectation was to spend most of the trip on a boat doing absolutely nothing. Highly recommend—if you’re into that kind of thing and feel that its worth it!

Packed boat full of strangers. A long ride to the fishing area while trolling for large fish, but I can't be sure they seriously wanting to catch anything as the lines were quite close to the boat under motor. We stopped at three places and used old and rather beat up reels standing side by side each other fishing off the side of the boat. The crew caught a few fish off the back. We all could've used some tips on what they were doing and we should have been spaced apart more. I could'nt move my reel without fear of hitting someone next to me. Fish were small. We were yelled at to go to lunch on the top deck which didn't have enough seating for all of us. The meal was chicken wings, rice, some sad fruits, and a few veggies, along with obviously precooked fish. I don't think they wanted us to catch fish because then they would have to clean it and cook it like advertised. I didn't see a kitchen on board so I don't know what they would've done. We then visited an area for swimming. They didn't have snorkel gear as they had advertised. We brought along our own and shared it with the rest of the strangers we met on board. All in all it was a good time on the boat because Thailand is beautiful and being in the water is always nice. The crew were okay, but obviously we were just paying guests, so it didn't feel particularly warm or kind. The crew were smoking cigarettes along the way, which was bad for my son's asthma and at times it smelled bad. Final thoughts were that we were part of an assembly line operation and that was it. Not bad, but certainly nothing special or exciting. Meh.

The whole event was so amazing. We have caught a lot of fishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They used some of the fishes we have caught to make delicious lunch for all of us. There were chilled water and soft drinks available all the time. The spot we has snorkeling was also very beautiful. It was definitely a must-go.

We had a great day out on the Racha Island Game Fishing & Trolling From Phuket adventure. There was trawling for fish and stationary fishing. Participants caught fish like Barracuda, small tuna, sea cod and kingfish. It was great fun. We were well looked after by the captain and crew member. I highly recommend this day tour when you're in Phuket. Booking is a simple process through Viator tours.

12 people, 4 seats, 8x10 cabin with some bed thing, i guess we lay down? boat way way too small, i got off before it left dock. no F'ing way i would go to sea on that. this should be delisted and shut down. and then they have audacity to list under luxury activities. more like a hot box prison cell. do not book!!!

This was a sight seeing tour at best. It’s a 3 hour each way to fishing grounds. We from what I assumed majority of the time were not even fishing in the fishing grounds. We had a half hour were we caught what I would call bait fish ( very small MAC tuna) . Talking turns with 8 other customers pull in a trawl line 15 metres from the back of the boat. We bottom fished for 40 minutes and not one person lost a bait - we didn’t move location, nor did the staff offer any help or advice. Poor toilet facilities- but you did get to see the captain hang his tackle over the back of the boat for relief. Had lunch - probably the highly, a swim at Racha island and then 3 motor back. The staff on speak Thai - so no communication if you don’t speak the native tongue. From leaving hotel to returning equals 11 hours - total time holding a fishing rod equals 45 minutes. If you want to go fishing, I would be looking at more fast paced boats and a reef fishing adventure. Avoid this one

Nice staff and well organised. Simple but good lunch. It is really a tourist fishing trip, aiming for little fish with groundfishing and bigger ones with trolling. But as there are up to 12 people on the boat you must be lucky to get the chance to reel in a bigger fish

Fantastic day trip fishing, great atmosphere and lots of fun, delicious lunch including the fish we caught. Cannot recommend enough, we'll worth the money!!

Fabulous day! So much fun and the crew were a delight. Caught plenty of fish and enjoyed the most relaxing time on deck, sunbathing, chatting and taking in the beautiful scenery. Got to take my fish home and cook it for dinner which was a bonus! Highly recommended 5*

Very over hyped and over advertised. BIG game fishing is not the correct description. 1. Got there and the guide told us we might catch some fish but probably not 2. Only mackerel NO big fish where we are going. 3. 8 people on boat and only 4 rods we had to draw numbers and take turns only 4 people got a small fish 4. We were given hand reels to fish over side of boat. Something you would give a child and caught 2 tiny fish. All in all it was a very expensive but very very disappointing trip and I would not recommend to any one Mr Guthrie Trip date 16.9.23

Trolling for Mackerel Tuna was great fun and we caught quite a few. The ones we caught in the morning were served up for lunch along with chicken and salads. There was an excellent crew on board who were always nearby to help. Being the only English speaker (apart from the crew) on board was challenging but I've now increased my Russian vocabulary. A great day, everything from pick up to drop off went seamlessly

Have to pay extra 500 thb for using of fishing rod. Else can choose to go for hand line which is free. Package is not really cheap. Not as fun as you imagined. Group of 8 and 6 of us have motion sickness. Boat was travelling very slow when setting off. While coming back was fast once we had our lunch. Food was decent. Nothing fantastic about. Would advice you to skip unless you really love fishing or simply Nothing to do.

It was one of the unexpected great day. We caught lots of fish and had best sashimi ever. The weather wasn’t best but the trip turn out really adventurous. The crew prepared great lunch while we snorkelled. It’s great value for money and lots of fun catching the fish.

There are some other activities, the scenery on the island is super beautiful! ! I will come back to play next time.

Have fun playing for a day, but I feel that the boat trip is too long and the fishing time is very short. If you can grow longer, there are many fish on the island.

Au niveau de l'équipe,personnel agréable,bon repas,bon bateau,bon secteur.Peche au gros très bien,par contre c'est du tirage au sort au début de la sortie pour savoir qui va prendre la canne en 1er lorsqu'un gros poisson mord...J'étais le 10eme pêcheur donc pas de pêche au gros pour moi.Pr la pêche au spinning lorsque le bateau est arrêté,là c'est nul car si vous n'avez jamais peché vous n'aurez aucune explication même en demandant au gars qui vs dit d'attendre 2 minutes canne dans l'eau puis remonter.Il faut savoir qu'on pêche a grande profondeur et que c'est fatiguant car les moulinets et les cannes ne sont pas adaptés et très vétustes.Les moulinets vont très mal et les cannes sont tres lourdes elles sont faites pr pêcher du gros poisson,or au spinning on pêche du petit poisson d'environ 500 grammes.Quand on a un poisson au bout on ne le sent même pas car canne trop rigide,aucune sensation de pêche.Pour résumer pêche au gros bien mais beaucoup de monde donc peu de chance de remonter un poisson,spinning nul,sortie en mer avec l'équipage et la baignade bien.
