Awesome day! Great lunch. Great views. We got to stop at a few extra places along the way and it was so worth it and kind of the driver and guide to recommend it all!

Itinerary
Start your day with Phuket’s famous A-Pong snack — a light, crispy pancake made fresh by local vendors.
Continue to Phuket Old Town, where colorful shophouses reflect the island’s multicultural heritage. Your guide shares stories about Phuket’s multicultural history and everyday life.
Taste Pao Lang, a traditional grilled sticky rice with banana wrapped in banana leaf. This warm and naturally sweet snack is a simple example of Phuket’s traditional street food culture.
Enjoy lunch at Mee Ton Poe, a long-established Phuket restaurant known for its Hokkien-style noodles. Choose from a selection of popular Thai dishes, including Pad Thai, Phat Kaphrao, Tom Yum noodles, Sweet & Sour, or Fried Rice.
Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary that focuses on rescue, care, and education. Feed the elephants, learn their stories, and observe them in a natural environment. There is no riding, no bathing — just meaningful time with these gentle giants.
At Chalong Temple, learn how locals visit temples and try simple, optional cultural activities such as folding a lotus flower, shaking a fortune-stick message (similar to receiving a fortune cookie), and placing a small sheet of gold foil.
End the day at Big Buddha viewpoint with sweeping island views. Please note: access inside the main structure is currently limited due to maintenance, but outdoor viewpoints remain open for great photos.

It was a good experience. The elepbant sanctuary was very interesting. The guide was pleasant and helpful.
This excursion was probably one of the best excursions I’ve ever taken in my life with my husband. We got to do so much and learned a lot about Thai culture and the elephants. Sue our tour guide was so amazing 10 out of 10 I wanted her to come to the US with us! We even got to stop at the cashew nut factory as an extra little stop. I would highly recommend this tour make sure you get Sue as your tour guide!
We had the most amazing time with Rainy. She asked prior so she could cater the excursion to our liking and was very knowledgeable and excited to show us her country and culture. We highly recommend taking this tour!
Excellent from start to finish, great inclusive experience, Chan our host was amazing, knowledgeable and funny. We had the best time with 14 year old son. A packed day and well worth it. Thank you
This experience is a fun way to knock out 3 excursions in one. Tong our tour guide was very informative and gave a lot of history about all the places we visited
Fun & informative tour of Phuket City, Big Buddha with Elephant sanctuary on Sept.11, especially with Reiny our very friendly guide - thanks again for taking our photos too :)
Pick up from our resort was smooth and Rita our guide was very knowledgeable with information on each place we visited. Highlights of the day were The Big Buddha complete with resident 'cheeky' monkeys, the elephant sanctuary, which was lovely to see the elephants in their natural habitat and Old Phuket Town with its brightly coloured buildings, bustling with locals and visitors buying craft and souvenirs. Overall a busy day which was well worth the price. Thank you Rita for an informative tour and Mr T for driving us safely.
The elephant sanctuary is a must see! Wear flip-flops or comfortable sandals if visiting during the rainy season.
Amazing view and great experience
DO NOT BOOK THIS! If you value your time and trip don’t book with these people they will gladly take the money just to cancel and refund it later. Read all the other reviews and believe them!
Was a really good trip. Great way to see a lot of things in one hit. Elephant sanctuary was great. Our guide Chan was fantastic, very helpful, very knowledgeable and funny as well, great with the kids. Tour was on time and in the right spot.
A truly mega Tour, so glad we did this, you get to see so much. Our guide Raney was brilliant explained the history behind the sights we were seeing, from Temples to Big Buddha, old Town Phuket and the amazing elephant sanctuary. Also the driver was very good keeping us in one piece on manic roads!
This tour was amazing! Sofia our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The price and food were well worth it. The full day was a great way to see temples, big Buddha and the elephants. My 11 year old loved the atmosphere and our guide!
Tour operator cancelled at the last minute. What happened to the 24 hrs notice so we can at least book another activity? We get penalized should we cancelled after 24 hrs, they should too. Viator should do a better job in vetting the operators. Shame on both of these "organizations".
We had a fantastic day with Rany! She was super informative and very friendly! It felt like we were travelling around with a friend by the end of the day! Rany was so helpful with photos and looking after all of our questions and needs. Thank you Rany!
This was a very nice trip, we had a “pretty woman” as tour guude Renee. She was very enthusiastic and nice. Especialy about lamkings 5~10😀. The elephants was super to visit they do a good job here! Al with all a very nice day trip we had with a good driver and host guide Renee we loved it.
I cannot say enough about this tour. The elephant sanctuary, and the Buddhist temple where I was blessed by a Buddhist monk was truly one for the books. And our tour guide was exceptional. It ended up being a private tour so we got to spend as much time in places as we wanted. And the lunch spot was really good. Would highly recommend.
An outstanding experience Sao , was an amazing guide very polite explained everything in details , we love the old city , the temple and elephants
Rita & Mr T showed us Phuket with local food, temple guided tour and supported the Elephant Sanctuary. What a beautiful day! Rita is so knowledgable and passionate about her home and we were blessed to have her as our guide xx thank you for a wonderful introduction to Thailand.
We started from Marriott Mai Kao to our Old Town Phuket and then the peaceful Elephant Sanctuary with Princess, Grandma and there 6 other female rescues followed by a holy afternoon. Rita our guide shared the sites, people, food and and culture along the way. We learned to open lotus flowers and how Thai people revere their elders. The Big Buddha and some curious monkeys finished our day with a trip back to our hotel. Our driver was excellent in what can be a chaotic scene between motorcycles, vans, trucks and cars. Our morning pancakes and noon lunch of pad thai were delicious. Bring good shoesand respectful clothing for the temples.
Fab day out. Guide was great lots of info throughout the day of the area we were in. He even took lots of pics and shared them with us, A great added extra to our day as it captured special memories. The right amount of time at each venue. Seeing the elephants in natural habitat was so lovely. All in all a great day highly recommend this trip.
What an amazing experience, one that we will never forget. It certainly makes you think what these poor elephants have been through. Well recommended.
Well I would leave a review if I had gone twice my trip has been cancelled, I had my time in Thailand planned out, including doing this trip, now my plans are all over the place. I am not pleased one bit
The tour was excellent. We experienced so many new and exciting things, some of which were unexpected. The food was great and Noom was wonderful. I would highly recommend this excursion.
Operator cancelled on us 1 hour prior to tour start. Ignores communication which could have allowed us to make alternate arrangement instead of losing a day.
We had such a great day on this tour honestly everything just felt easy from the start. The driver picked us up right at our hotel on time and we didn’t have to think about anything. Our guide Rainy made the whole experience. She’s so kind and funny and just easy to be around. It didn’t feel like a typical tour at all. We started with local snacks like A Pong pancakes and other traditional food and then walked through Old Phuket Town. Rainy explained everything in a way that actually made sense and kept it interesting without overdoing it. Lunch at Mee Ton Poe was really good and she helped us pick what to try which made it even better. The elephant sanctuary was one of the best parts. We got to feed the elephants and learn about them and it felt really genuine not rushed or staged. We also went to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha and the whole day just flowed really well nothing felt stressful or forced. What really stood out was how much Rainy cared. She was taking photos of us all day checking in on us making sure we were comfortable and just keeping everything fun. There were four of us and by the end we felt like we actually got to know her. Her English is really good which made everything easy and you can tell she really knows her history and the area. I would 100 percent recommend this to anyone coming to Thailand especially if you’re from Canada and want to feel comfortable right away. If you can ask for Rainy she honestly made the whole experience! 10000% recommend!
This was our first time in Thailand, and we chose to stay on Coconut Island instead of mainland Phuket. Prior to pickup, the team communicated efficiently and in a timely manner, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We set out at 12 noon, with our driver picking us up from Boat Lagoon Pier. Our guide was Rita, and Mr. Thapakorn was our driver for the day. We loved the warmth of both Rita and Mr. Thapakorn, who even taught us a few phrases in his native language. They were both incredibly friendly, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Phuket—or book with them again ourselves. Thank you for your warmth.
Tour guide very informative, they looked after you from the pick up to drop off. The tour covered everything on the tour and more.
Great day! Very comfortable and well organized. Very friendly guide with a good level in English! She gave a lot of wonderful insights. Nice food and plenty of fresh drink provided. We brought out son who is 11 months, that was no problem and very much fun for him to feed and see the elephants! Very happy that we did this tour, can highly recommend! :)
Wonderful experience. Lucked out and got private tour! Sites were great and our guide was fabulous! Do highly recommend this experience. Elephant sanctuary is ethical and the Olof Phuket and temple addition was great. Big Buddha views are spectacular.
A great day with a small tour group (only four of us) which was interesting and amazing at the same time. The guide Rainy was fantastic, having great knowledge of the areas we visited and was hugely entertaining throughout the tour. Lunch, which was provided as part of the tour was very good. The Elephant sanctuary we visited was very good and the Elephants were all allowed to roam free with no touching or riding being allowed, which gave us the sense this was an ethical sanctuary for the Elephants to be looked after. Overall a very interesting and enjoyable day and one I would fully recommend. Thanks Rainy for being a wonderful guide!!
The guide, Rita, was very knowledgeable and friendly. You will enjoy the ride to each location as much as you will the sites you visit.
We loved the short visit to Phuket old town and the highlight for us was the elephant sanctuary. Absolutely loved it! The temple visit was ok and we were looking forward to the big Buddha. Unfortunately we weren’t aware that you couldn’t walk up the steps or see it from the front so this was a little disappointing .
We loved the mix of experiences — delicious local lunch, a really special visit to the elephant sanctuary (so lovely seeing them cared for ethically), and a wander through colourful Old Town. The temple was peaceful and beautiful, and the views from the Big Buddha were absolutely incredible. A perfect way to see the highlights in one day — highly recommend!
Great tour! Would have been even better if we didn't have to wait on other guests to be on time. Tour guide was excellent and the elephant park was the highlight.
Prompt and nice mini van. Pat was very knowledgeable and driver drove safely. Started with walk and look round town. Went for a Thai meal, which we all agreed was nice. Then to the elephant sanctuary. This was the wow ! We fed them, had pictures with them (close up), watched one bathe. A guide talked about the elephants and their very sad stories. Thankfully they all seem to be living a good life now. It was an experience. We then went to a few temples all together. On to the Big Budda, which can only be seen from the back/side because of a landslide last year. Then back to our ship, traffic was terrible thankfully we have another day in Phuket so didn't miss our cruise. Definitely worth doing
Guide should have microphone on bus, you could only hear her in first row a little in second row. Wish more time with elephants
A great day. The Elephant Sanctuary was the best. We also spent time in the Old Town. Had a nice lunch and saw some lovely temples.
This tour did not deliver the itinerary that was promised. Hotel pickup was stated as between 11:30–11:40, but the guide arrived at 11:10, causing unnecessary stress as we rushed to be ready so as not to delay other guests. The itinerary stated: “Continue to Phuket Old Town, where colorful shophouses reflect the island’s multicultural heritage. Your guide shares stories about Phuket’s multicultural history and everyday life.” In reality, this stop was merely a Chinese souvenir shopping stop. There was no cultural explanation, no local interaction, and we spent 50 minutes sitting in a coffee shop. Lunch was advertised as including an appetizer, main course, and drink. Only water was provided, and no appetizer was offered. At the elephant sanctuary, w we were rushed through the main highlight feeding, the elephanst five minutes followed by a one-hour hike on uneven, unpaved dirt roads. Due to the difficulty, we walked only halfway and turned back. At Wat Chalong Temple, we were told to walk around on our own for 40 minutes. There was no demonstration or explanation of folding lotus flowers, shaking fortune sticks, or placing gold leaf, all of which were implied in the written itinerary. The final stop at the Big Buddha could not be completed because the entrance was closed. Our group consisted of 8 Australians, 2 people from England, and 2 Americans. Only the couple left a small tip, reflecting the overall disappointment shared by the group.
This was an awesome combination of shopping in Old Town Phuket, enjoying the elephants at the sanctuary and seeing the temples. Our tour guide was very sweet and made the day super enjoyable!
Hello, I had a tour booked and I was waiting until 12 noon. They never came to pick me up iMessage the tour operator and they told me last minute that it was overbooked.
Great tour, not rushed. Educational and cultural. This was exactly what our group of two families was looking for to experience a bit of Thailand.
I was prompted to review my tour yesterday so here it is - it never happened. at 11:30 pm the night before the tour, they messaged last minute that it was cancelled due to lack of signups. They proposed other dates. I told them one I could do. Then, I had to follow up multiple times and didn't get another response until halfway through the day the tour was supposed to happen. They never updated my tickets and I am still waiting for my refund
Amazing experience and a terrific tour guide Old City, taste lunch, the Cashews Factory, unforgettable experience with the elephants at the Elephants Sanctuary, fantastic visit at the Temple and Big Buddha
We had a great time on this tour! Noom was our guide and I love that he would take pics for us and he made everything very interesting! It was really cool to see th monkeys at Big Buddha and the cashew factory was fun too! Great street art in Old Phuket and the food was delicious! Great day and we even learned a bit more about the beautiful elephants of Thailand!
We had a great experience with elephants and made lots of photos & videos… Driver Mr King was on time and very polite, the tour guide Pet was also very nice and showed us the temple around and spoke about culture and traditions a lot. We had our lunch and sweet Thai treat, visited the old town and had about 45 min to ourselves. Last point was big Buddha tough the weather in October is very unpredictable so we couldn’t see him well as it was too rainy and foggy.
This was an excellent tour! I loved the excellent customer service and the beautiful beaches. It was like being in paradise!
We did this tour with family and friends. The tour was absolutely amazing, exactly as described. Tour guide was very informative, friendly and offered great suggestions. Would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was lovely, very informative. Well organised and good length of time. Food and drinks included were great. Only let down was one selfish couple who were half an hour late to pick up and then 15 minutes late returning from first stop.
