Our guide Rita was amazing with great knowledge of local customs, the driver was good and very professional. The only issue was the pick up from the hotel. We received the info through Viator that the pick up is between 10:30-10:40 at the lobby. We were there on time. By 11:00 I started communicating with the tour operator asking for updates with pick up time. No answer. After 50 minutes we asked again. Then we received an answer “sorry for the wrong pickup info, it should be 11:30-11:40..🤷♀️. And Rita was there at 11:30. Rita was good, but somebody in the office has no respect for customers.

Itinerary
Begin with A-Pong, Phuket’s famous thin pancake freshly made by local vendors.
Continue to Phuket Old Town, where colorful shophouses, street art, cafés, and markets create a lively backdrop for learning about local culture and history.
Taste Pao Lang, a traditional grilled sticky rice with banana wrapped in banana leaf. This warm and naturally sweet snack is a simple example of Phuket’s traditional street food culture.
Enjoy lunch at Mee Ton Poe, a long-established Phuket restaurant known for its Hokkien-style noodles. Choose one dish from a curated menu of Thai favorites — the signature Hokkien noodles, Pad Thai, Phat Kaphrao, Tom Yum noodles, Sweet & Sour, Fried Rice.
At Wat Chalong (Chalong Temple), Phuket’s most well-known temple, your guide explains how local people typically visit temples in simple, friendly terms. You may join optional hands-on activities such as folding a lotus flower, trying a fun fortune-stick activity (like a fortune cookie, where you shake a cup and receive a written message), or placing a small gold-foil sheet on a designated statue. These activities are light, enjoyable, and suitable for all ages.
Finish the tour at the Big Buddha, one of Phuket’s most iconic landmarks. The impressive white marble statue sits high above the island and offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views across Phuket. Guests may also enjoy a beautiful sunset from the Big Buddha viewpoint, creating one of the island’s most memorable photo moments before returning to the hotel.

Good trip around the city seeing the highlights temples. Big Buddha and old town. although I didn’t want to participate in any tourist traps which included tied up elephants or baby tigers. Obligatory stops at gem factory’s of which the Pearl one was good. Rainy our guide very nice and friendly.
Pop was an amazing guide and very informative. We had a great day.
Rainy is the perfect tour guide for this activity. She delivers a charismatic charm while evelating moments with her witty humor. You will enjoy this trip with no disappoint - Your the VIP- service rendored was exceptional...
Great guide very friendly and knowledegable
I just completed this rour with my wife. Rita was our guide and she was amazing. The tour had a good itinerary, the vehicle was clean and comfortable and our driver was very good. Rita was imformative, friendly and helpful. They provided refreshments, lunch and some treats to eat on the way back to the hotel. The was a very enjoyable tour and I recommend this tour to anyone wanting a look around Phuket old town, big budda and a temple.
Super informative, tour guide was funny and very clear with instructions. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to learn about Phuket as well as visit and pay respects to the big Buddha as well as visit Wat Chalong temple.
Thanks to our tour guide Rainy AKA “ Pretty Woman” with her wit, knowledge and humour, our experience was lots of laughs and we learnt a lot about Phuket’s history and culture. Had a great day out. Thanks Rainy. ❤️
Our guide, Rainy (Raini?) was great. Her smiles, knowledge, humour and hospitality made our trip a quite memorable one.' We learned a lot about the history, geography, religion and local culture from her. Also, it was fun to enjoy local food,
Great tour, also a good way to get your bearings if this is your first trip to Thailand in this area.
The big Buddha was the highlight of this trip for me. We also enjoyed the Old town in Phuket and sampled some delicious food along the way
We had an amazing Phuket tour experience, and our guide Rainy truly made it unforgettable. Her English was excellent, and her deep knowledge of the island’s history added so much value to the day, my partner and I absolutely loved learning about Phuket beyond the usual tourist spots. What really stood out was how she took us to a few hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. Lunch was at an authentic Phuket restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious, one of the highlights of the day. A big thank you as well to our driver, who was professional and made the journey smooth and comfortable. The van was clean and comfortable, and the cold water provided was such a thoughtful touch in the Phuket humidity. To top it all off, they went the extra mile to make my husband’s birthday feel special, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Rainy as your guide, she made sure I walked away with some jewelry on a birthday that wasn't mine 😂!
Fantastic day. Chan our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. His driver Meen (?) Was safe and efficient. They added stops for us and adjusted times to suit us. Great way to see some beautiful sights and get your bearings. Highly recommend 👌
Tour was great to see all of the major attractions in Phuket. Chan was our English speaking tour guide, and he provided relevant information. As it was only the 4 of us on the tour, he asked if we wanted to stop at other places (we stopped at a cashew nut factory). Would have liked to do a little more in Old Phuket Town, as we literally walked around the block in an hour. The lunch was tasty. We were not given the banana sticky rice listed in the itinerary. The food inclusions were part of the reason we booked this tour over others that were cheaper. Paid an additional fee for pickup in Panwa. Take your own cover ups if you wear a singlet or shorter shorts to the Buddha and temple, as the ones provided were a polyester with Mega Tour written all over them.
Sofia was a wonderful guide.she was lnowledgeabe and very friendly. The stops were interesting and educational
Was a great tour, good way to see the city and key temples while learning some history. The food was quite good and felt/taste authentic. Su was a great guide
Great organised Tour with our Guide Sao and Driver Tee. Both very good, and looked after us very well as I had minor mobility issues. Highly recommend this tour throughout Phuket to any age group.
Our tour guide Rita & Driver Mr D were fantastic. Very knowledgeable & funny. A great tour you won’t be disappointed.
Rainy, our tour guide is very friendly and explained everything very clearly to us. She makes sure everyone is comfortable all the time and give us time to explore.
Our guide Chan was very knowledgeable and the driver of the car was excellent! The hotel pickup was a nice added perk too
This Phuket City tour was amazing. Our guide Noom and our driver Tee were the best. We were provided with so much local information and cold drinks along the way. It was easy to see how proud they were of their town. We had lunch at the popular Mee Ton Poe. It was delicious. We saw the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong Temple and were taught how to fold lotus flowers, and walked around the colourful Phuket Old Town. We had a great afternoon out the weather was kind to us too. Thank you
Rainy (Tour guide) and her side kick (Driver) were a great team. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in a new city. Was extremely accommodating, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Thailand. She is someone we would strongly recommend to anyone traveling to Thailand. She would be once of the reasons I would come back to visit. Thank you for the awesome memories and experiences.
Great way to see some of the sites of Phuket. Our tour guide (Noom?) was very kind and knowledgeable. He made sure to keep us hydrated with water and sodas throughout the day. Seeing the big Buddha was really cool!
An immersive experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Enjoyed our excursion immensely,
I loved visiting all the temples. I got blessed by a monk and took some cool pictures. I also shook a cup and read my fortune 🔮
Great little variety tour, a few different activities clumped together. The 2 temples were very good. Wat Chalong was extremely beautiful and the Giant Buddha was, well, giant. Unfortunately some people(idiots) saw fit to feed and touch the monkeys, when the signs are clear that you shouldn't. Our guide, Rita, was full of knowledge and loved filling us in on every single detail she could. Whether that be related to the tour or Thai people in general. Rita was also a feeder, she pumped me full of food. I am so full, I nearly died lol. The itinerary seemed to claim we got the pancakes at the beginning, when in fact we were fed them on the way home. Not an issue, they were very nice too. The visit to Phuket town was quite short, we had about 40 minutes, but it was time to grab an iced latte and a milkshake for our daughter. For the price we paid, this tour was great value, we really enjoyed it.

We did 3 tours with Viator in Ho Chi Min City (Boy); Penang (Sugu) and Phuket (Hoon) and they were all very good. Saw the salient features of the cities. Tour guides were courteous and knowledgeable.
Comprehensive- this is a great way to see the highlights. I enjoyed the wonder through old town the most.
Hard to believe you can pack all that this tour has to offer in a half day trip. Well it ended up being a full day for us. Sophia was knowledgeable about Phuket and all the things on the tour.
This TripAdvisor platform is poor. I just tried to book a tour in Phuket, and the system would not accept the accurate address of the pick-up hotel, and there was no phone or email for customer service that could assist in solving the problem.
Pat our tour agent was very friendly, patient and helpful, no doubt there was a slight delay in picking us up, overall the tour experience was very good. Importantly, cold drinks and mineral water was provided during the hot day that we traveled.
The guide and driver were great. Just not sure the value for the money. Getting opportunity to walk and shop was good. Lunch was good as well. Temple was okay and unable to see giant Buddha but were not told until we got there.
8 hours door to door, long and slow time with tourist temples with plastic Buddha's inside. Rep friendly and funny but boring detail. Drinks available and chilled ,lunch typical Thai and tasty. Pre tour messages good.
This tour was a great way to see multiple sides of Phuket in one day. Noom (apologies if I misspelled it!) was an amazing guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing. I even made a friend on the trip, which made the whole experience even more worthwhile. The viewpoints were stunning, and Old Town at the end was absolutely beautiful — colorful streets, great atmosphere. If I’m being honest, I could’ve skipped the temples simply because I’ve seen so many at this point in my travels that they don’t impress me much anymore. But overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable tour.
Insightful tour! Was able to see alot in the alotted time.
Amazing!! Lovely tour guide and very hospitable. Couldn’t recommend enough.
Absolutely great tour! Jackie is very knowledgeable and funny. He makes sure to take heaps of photos so you can remember the day! The driver is also very cautious and professional, you don't feel unsafe. We got to see some amazing sites, learn more about the islands history and had a delicious lunch. Thank you for the experience
We had a great host (Rita or Lisa not sure of her name). She had excellent English and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver was also excellent. Trip included a treat, lunch and multiple refreshments. She really took care of us.
We were in Mai Kao area and had to get to Patong. So early start to get there by 08am, on the other end of Phuket. Our guide Eve was very welcoming and enthusiastic. It was a pleasure seeing the sights and she made sure we had lots of photographs to remember our day.
We had an amazing time on our tour! It was the perfect day well spent exploring Phuket. Taew was our guide - and she was absolutely incredible. We also had a really great and safe driver, Nan. Taew was very explanatory. She taught us so much history and cultural information. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour with the sight seeing and food opportunities. Especially since we were staying a bit far from Old Phuket Town. 10/10 would do again. Thank you!
The visit to the temple was really enlighting. The guide spoke English very well and helped us understand the spiritual life of the Thai people
Rita and the driver were awesome! They did very well taking us to different places. Only disappointed with the Big Buddha being closed so didn't get the pics we wanted but everything else was great. They provided cold drinks and wet towels when it was getting hot. They took us to a Thai restaurant that was good. The soup option was amazing! Definitely well valued experience!
Didn’t start very well. Got off jetty and there were so many people selling tours we could not find our tour guide. Went to hotel as were told to no one there. A number of calls made and we found guide. Took 30 minutes to do so and temper a bit raised with guide. Once on the road, wow Rita the guide was fantastic and the tour was really worth doing.
Rainy and her driver were an excellent team. Rainy knew the history of Phuket really well and spoke understandable English. Really enjoyed the tour but to no fault of the Team were not able to access the Big Buddha. They improvised very well and took us to a nice view point. The lunch provided was very tasty. Highly recommend this tour to others who wa t to experience the true Phuket landmarks.
Two viewing points were covered, lots of water and soft drinks/sodas were offered and we were taken for lunch. The lunch was not great as we had to select just one item per person, mediocre meal at sub-par restaurant. Tour guide Num was good, spoke good English and the tour could be better with more interesting guided stops.
The second sitting row of the van was good for 2,5 persons not 3. Our guide was so friendly, he offered me his sit next to driver.
Well organized from emails informing us of the pick up location to meet and greet through to returning us to our drop off location The guide was very pleasant, informative and had a great sense of humor adding to the enjoyment of the day
Our tour guide Rita was absolutely fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and made learning fun with her personal stories. One of our group members was celebrating a birthday the day of our tour and Rita went out of her way to get a birthday cake and candle and led us in a round of Happy Birthday. It’s personal touches like the cake that will make this visit one to remember.
What a excellent day that Rainy gave us,Rainy told us all about the Temples right through our tour with so much knowledge, then the Big Budda explain the same and more than happy to take alot of photos off our group and send them to us,she went above and beyond highy recommend, ill will be booking more with Rainy, thankyou for an amazing experience ❤️
