This was my third phi phi boat tour and by far the best experience I’d had. The trip was brilliant the staff, the tour itself, the on going drinks and snacks the lunch buffet. Yoyo the tour guide was amazing, funny and informative. We loved our day tour thank you guys :)

Well organised, good destination with a great friendly crew. We as a group enjoyed every bit of the tour. Strongly recommend this trip with Viator.
The scenery was spectacular! We paid extra for the long boat at the lagoon and the views were breathtaking! This excursion was very well organized. The three stops were unique and beautiful. Lunch was really good too. You could choose from Indian and Thai food, and had vegetarian options. Highly recommend.
The bus and the driver to the marina was very good. We had to pay 400 baht extra at the start for the visit as well as 300 baht for the longtail boat (the total for the longtail boat was about 1800 baht) the speedboat was ok but i wouldnt recommend it for those who are old age or have stomach problems. The islands were beautiful but we couldnt visit maya as it was closed
I would not recommend booking with this company as they do not care about weather conditions. They will set sail and risk a capsized boat full of tourists than risk losing a day of profits. My experience with them was awful, people were screaming, crying, throwing up, and begging god to get us back safe. We experienced high winds, very choppy water, and rain. I woke up the next day with knots on my head from being tossed around and bruising all over my body. Please don’t support companies who put tourists life’s at risk. Everyone on my boat thought we were going to capsize and die:/
When we arrived we were instantly charged a fee for “entrance” to the national park. I believe that should have been included but they charged us 400baht extra regardless. When you get to the national park, no one is checking anyway and when you pay the additional fee you aren’t given anything to indicate that you have. The tour then starts off with a 50 minute talk where one of the staff member tries to coerce you into buying a hat and beach shoes. He will then say you can’t wear your shoes on the sand and it’s best to have shoes because “sea urchins” will go into your feet. While this may only happen at one beach you are allowed to wear whatever shoes you want. No one stops you. Again this is their way of forcing you to buy their shoes. The breakfast is very very average if not disappointing. Getting on the speed boat, it is very inaccessible and people are prone to slipping. The boat is very crowded and over sold. The islands are beautiful and there’s a decent amount of time to explore. On our trip they said we can’t go into the Viking cave and you will glare at it for two mins from 100 metres away. Quite disappointing. A lot of the time they will say you will need to take a long boat into areas which is extra charge. When we arrived at the island for lunch I cannot express how disappointed and disgusted I was at the venue, food, hygiene and the way people were eating. The food was uncovered buffet and everything was chilli. It is all Indian food and limited Thai. There is no where to sit as there are more than four tour groups in the restaurant and also people from the outside. People were eating with their fingers which they considered normal. The stench was horrid and there was no ventilation. Truly a traumatising experience. It’s best if you do not eat at the place they include in your package. If you are going to choose this tour please have no expectations for the service. Otherwise the islands you visit are beautiful, no testament to the tour organisers.
Such a wonderful trip! The crew were very accommodating and organised the group well. Would recommend to anyone interested in seeing theses islands 😄
Tour was really good. Tour guide did a good explaining where we were going, the activities and making sure everyone was accounted for and knew the meeting points. The speedboat was more crowded than I expected and you have to pay extra for the activities but it was a really good day! The islands are beautiful!
Magnificent views and time for activities and a stroll around the many islands. The best would be the to pay for long tail boat that get you into the logoon where you can get a closer view and go out for swim in the shallow part of the logoon . Great services a must do when coming Phuket
Long day for me about an hour drive out to the meeting point which they provided a pick up for me for an additional 1600 baht. Once we got there, we had a small briefing in the hopped on the boat about a 1 Hour Dr. about to. Pho phi island. Some people ought to stay in the beach and swim I recommend doing the snorkeling, pretty amazing lots of sea urchin, and fish. Lunch was pretty good, mostly Thai food some Indian buffet style. Overall great tour.
The itinerary IS NOT what you will actually be doing! First, they do not go in order of what your itinerary says and second the details of what you do at each stop are LIES! Second, The tour operator doesn’t use any type of microphone or megaphone so you can’t hear anything being said on the boat. Third, the time you have to do activities is not actual, nor do you do all that you pay for. We paid for scuba diving and it was supposed to come with snorkeling also but we never got to snorkel at all, they didn’t even say anything about us going to do it after scuba diving!! My main reason for booking was Monkey Beach, because I wanted to get off and see the monkeys as close as possible and the only times you supposedly can’t get off the boat is during high tide because it’s just a small bay so high tide causes it to disappear…well the tide was LOW and they still didn’t let us off the boat, they just pulled up close and said take pictures and videos. I know the tide was low because there were long tailed boats docked there and people in the water and on the sand from the long tailed boats there while we were there and I LITERALLY HAVE A VIDEO WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE BEACH SAND CLEAR AS DAY BECAUSE IT WAS DEFINITELY LOW TIDE SO WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN OFF THE BOAT!!! To add injury to insult we didn’t stay 45 mins like the itinerary says, not even close, because why would they sit there floating in the water just to take pics from a distance for 45 mins, we were there for all of 11 minutes! I have photographic proof based on the time stamps on my videos and pics!! That pissed me all the way off! At that point the trip was a waste of money! Don’t promise me something to get my money when you have no plans to deliver what you promised! Say what you mean and MEAN WHAT YOU SAY!! Viking Cave…what’s that?!? We never even went there…to a point where I thought Viking cave was where the monkeys were. There was no way to tell because they never pointed out a drawing anywhere nor did we ever see one…this excursion was nothing but a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND MONEY PIT!! Friends in our group including myself didn’t even have time to eat lunch because when you pay for scuba diving they don’t even have enough dive equipment to accommodate everyone so while some are in the water others are just standing in the hot sun waiting their turn…and eating into your time for lunch; my group was one that had to wait on the sidelines and even still we didn’t scuba at the same time, myself and one other went down and afterwards my other two friends went down but by the time we finished scuba, went back to shower (rinse off) and change we had NO TIME to eat lunch, I had time to fix a small bowl of rice and potato curry but by the time I got to the table it was time to head back to the boat so I never tasted a thing and the other two in my group who did scuba after us never even got to look at lunch because they had to rush back to the boat. I will say they gave us water and sodas and snacks between the stops while on the boat but my group was starving because we didn’t get a meal and we’re out ALL DAY LONG! I want EVERY BIT OF MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS WASTE OF TIME but I know that won’t happen so all I can do is try and help others not make the same mistake by booking this excursion!
Too much extra charges above our booking we payed 1600 extra that we were forced to pay at the station and we didn’t know what we are paying for
Exploring the beautiful Phi Phi island was magical. Yoyo & her team were great! Loved & enjoyed this tour!!!
I Had a great time with the tour. I saw plenty of fish and swam together!!! Also, Staffs are friendly and funny.
Great trip Very well organised Taken to sone lovely beaches Maya beach is beautiful Highly recommended
It was a lovely experience. Dee Dee and the team made it a forgettable day! The day went so fast and light refreshments also provided throughout the day.
You waste 30min before trip on sales pitches. Boat was very packed. Not enough space. Tour was exactly as described. Staff was friendly.
From the boat ride, the friendly tour guide and boat staff, and the beautiful scenery, and waters other than the crowds it was spectacular.
Trip itself was fantastic, but i Left my wallet on empty bus with all my money and cards etc. airtag showed it was on the bus but driver denied it, company then ignored my messages and calls then the airtag went offline. Driver clearly stole it. Terrible way to treat a customer
Well organised, the guides ensured the timings were met. Our guide was friendly and fun. The beeches were really crowded though and too many tourists at once.
The experience starts with a 60 minute briefing which was inclusive of 50 minutes of scamming to increase their sales. Scam 1 - The briefing told us to buy special shoes as we would not be allowed to wear our beach sandals off the boat. These shoes were priced at 3 times the cost in markets. Beach sandals were allowed in our boat as well as every other boat. 15% cost increase. Scam 2 - At the briefing, it was stated that speed boats were not allowed inside Pileh Bay Lagoon and a separate long tail boat had to be hired to enter which had to be booked through them. This boat was at an exorbitant cost. When at the lagoon, we saw a large number of speed boats inside. 40% cost increase. As for lunch, by the time we came in after snorkelling as per our program, we got leftovers with items over and cold food. Khai Nok Island is a small rocky beach with sea urchins on the sea floor. Overall it felt like an assembly line of people who had to complete the tour.
The tour is very well organized, with a nice breakfast, buffet lunch and snack on the beach. The staff is super nice and everything is well coordinated not to let the place be too crowded at the same time. I would recommend it for a day trip and to see the Phi Phi island
I am writing this review to warn parents of children with special needs to not proceed with booking with this company. To them it’s a business but to us it’s personal because we are creating memories with our family/friends! This was my second time in Phuket and realized I should’ve booked a private tour again! Firstly, my daughter traveled with us. She has Autism and does really well in big groups and doesn’t have a lot of sensory processing issues. On the boat she was fine and enjoyed the tour although it was longer than what’s listed. Viator has this tour end time at 4:30 but the boats actually return at 6:00pm! Once we arrived back to the pier, we were told van #13 will take us back to our drop off point. When we approached van #13, the driver immediately took my family to another van. We thought maybe because another family was being dropped off at the same location. On the way to the drop off point, my husband asked the driver which location will be dropped off first because our driver was meeting us there. The driver never responded even after other passengers attempted to get an answer. Traffic was bad making the 25 min drive over 1 hr 15 min. At this time, my daughter got very anxious and begin to get uncomfortable. Stimming and repeating the same thing. About 1 min before it was time to turn in our drop off point, the driver got in the far left lane. Indicating he had no intentions on turning in to our drop off location. My husband told him he was about to pass the location and that’s exactly what he did! He refused to stop, answer us, or tell us what he was doing. Other customers told him he was passing our drop off location but he ignored us. About 1 mile down, he let us out the van in the middle of traffic with our child who is prone to elope! No cares whatsoever! We had to play frogger to not get struck by drivers!!! My husband went up to strangers to get them to translate to our driver exactly where we were located. It took another 30 mins for our driver to find us stranded! I immediately emailed the tour operator. I was told it was dangerous for the driver to turn into our drop off location because of traffic and he was going to drop everyone else off then come back to drop us off. Helen also stated she contacted all other passengers and they stated we yelled at the driver. Crazy thing is it wasn’t too dangerous to drop a family off in the middle of the road with an autistic child! Yes, we raised our voices when the driver refused to verbally communicate what he was doing! Helen “conducted” an investigation in less than an hour without calling the family that made the complaint! Save your money and time! This company does not care for your safety! The last minute of our tour had me in tears because I feared we could get struck by a car with our special needs daughter! Very inhumane!
The Phi Phi, Khai, and Maya Island hopping by speedboat was truly a fantastic experience! The itinerary was well-planned, and the details provided about the trip were accurate. The breathtaking scenery and vibrant marine life made it an unforgettable day. However, there were a couple of things that could have been better. Before departure, we attended a briefing where we were informed that due to low tides, the speedboat wouldn’t go inside Maya Bay, as it wasn’t allowed by the government. Instead, we were encouraged to purchase a ride on a small longtail boat for an additional fee (4–5 passengers per boat). To our surprise, once we arrived, the speedboat did go inside Maya Bay, and there were several larger boats there as well. Additionally, during the briefing, we were advised to book scuba diving in advance, as it was said to be cheaper than on the island. However, I later discovered that the price on the island was 1,500 THB, compared to 1,900 THB at the briefing. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the stunning islands around Phuket. Just be cautious about pre-trip upselling during the briefing, and double-check prices if you can.
Great tour to some islands, great organization abd pickups, plente of food options during the tour and super great funny guide Dee Dee
Horrible experience. Waste of money and waste of a day of vacation. None of the beaches visited had water that was decent to go into. The tour operator never picked up the phone or responded to app questions about timing or transfer coordination so it stressed us out for the whole day prior trying to reach them. They hard upsell you on water shoes you dont need and a long tail boat that didn’t take us anywhere that the big boat didnt go too. The longtail boat seats 10 and they capped them at 4 people to make more money. And there was nowhere to snorkel or see fish in the whole experience. It was rushed, a ton of hidden fees, false advertising, and an absolute tourist trap.
The guied was very rude nd not a good experience will not recomend book from you nor I will recomend to any one
Dee Dee was a great host did his job well, informative and funny, the boat stopped on the way back so we could take a photo of the sun setting. Great experience Thank you
We had the best time with Yoyo and her crew! Everyone was super kind and the sights were absolutely amazing. All the islands were a little different and just breathing. We definitely enjoyed our entire trip. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
An amazing experience that I would recommend anyone to go. Best thing to also do is make sure you book the long boat to get up and personal next to each islands. The beaches are beautiful and just the sheer beauty of the Phi Phi Islands are awe-inspiring. Depending on who you have in the tour group can be a little disappointing but the journey overall was near perfect!
I did not enjoy it at all! The guides are very nice, but there were so many people on the boat that it made it unenjoyable. It gets so hot, and you have to fight for a spot to sit down. Don’t do it! Next time, I will pay extra for a private tour.
The most memorable part of it was our tour guide named Balloon. She was extraordinarily humorous and made our trip worth remembering.
The tour was fascinating, with beautiful nature all around. Our guide was friendly and helpful, and the entire staff was very nice. I highly recommend this experience!
Good chauffeur for pick-up and return. Very nice crew on board with a good sense of humor. Crew is very aware of where you are to leave no one behind at the several stops. Longboat is an experience in itself. Not cheap but worth it to enhance the special experience. The only thing strange is the 400bht pp for the nature reserve you have to pay to get your green strap and be allowed on board. You are confronted with it at the last moment. Strange because you never enter the reserve or get a good explanation. If it's to preserve nature ok. All in all a good, sunny and most pleasant day.
Had a very good time and this was exactly what we expected it would be. I would suggest this trip to any of my friends provided their expectations were appropriately set beforehand. This is not a 5-star yacht service, it is a very affordable island hopping tour in an emerging market country. All the bad reviews are from out of touch people that went into this boat day with the wrong expectations. Lol to the other reviews saying they talk too much - this is true before you get on the boat. About a 20 min sales pitch before boarding (disguised as an overview of the day's itinerary) to rent a longtail boat at Phi Leh Lagoon. The length of the talking was a bit much but it was also funny. Extra costs: THB 400 pp for marine park fee Optional Longtail boat: THB 1800 with max capacity of 4 pax To note: Maya Beach closed Aug 1 to 30 Sep every year Once on the boat there was more briefing but I would consider it all necessary. Our guide was ensuring we understood what was going to happen throughout the day and ensuring our safety. Our boat guide was Yo Yo and she was amazing. Funny and helpful but also took no crap from anyone haha. Boat was very basic, but at the same time it is all you need. Bench seats around the perimeter of the boat. Expect it to be pretty full and having to sit very close to your neighbours. YOUR STUFF WILL GET WET! Plan for this. It rained for a bit and was very wet inside the boat. Luckily no choppy waves in the ocean for us but I would imagine if weather is bad this would be a hell of a ride lol. Also, the weather was only sunny for a bit of the day and we still had so much fun! So if you're doubting doing this in rainy season then dont, just do it! I can only imagine how beautiful everything is on a clear day. Food wasn't amazing but it was included and I also expected it to be so-so. Decent selection but again, this is an included buffet on a small island in Thailand. If you don't like what you see take your cheap a$$ to McDonalds, or Burger King, or 7-Eleven around the corner. In the end, we both ate from the buffet, were full, content, and had no stomach issues or otherwise. They have water and cola on the boat and even gave each of us a tray of pineapple and watermelon halfway through the afternoon. The stops were all pretty and nice. Water quality and clarity was amazing at all of the stops, and the snorkeling was very fun!! Honestly was surprised at the variety of fish and creatures that we saw. You should take note that there there is going to be a ton of traffic and tourists. This, again, should be expected and anyone else complaining about too many tourists in their reviews needs a reality check and to recognise they are part of the problem too. High volume of tourists is just part of the equation, you are participating in one of the most mainstream excursions in all of Thailand. We opted for NO longtail and in the end regretted not getting one. After the briefing in the AM it felt unnecessary, a bit of a scam/setup, and just for people to take IG pictures of themselves, but it was low tide at the lagoon when we got there and the speed boat was unable to enter so we were not able to swim in the lagoon as planned. This was a bummer and we were wishing we just paid for the boat. We did, however, park the boat while everyone was on their longtail ride and snorkel around and that was great. Lots of wildlife. All in all we had a great day and would recommend! Thanks Yo Yo! You are a real G.
Maya bay was a beautiful sight. However what I remember the most is the smell of gasoline and exhaust from all the boats and long tails. You have a major pollution problem. When arriving at the key we were sat down to overview a 30 minute speech from a guide. Highly anoying and unnessecary. The information could have been given i 5 minutes. The same information was given on the boat several times. There was not said a single word about security onboard, which should be priority nr 1.
We had a fantastic day provided by Yoyo and her team. I am 66 years old, fit and healthy- but found it a bit hard to get on and off the boat for the various stops. The crew helped me and made sure we were safe. A great lunch. A crew member found us on Kai Island to give us fruit. Everything that they said would be provided, was provided. I would recommend this day trip- 10/10.
This was in many ways a great choice. Some of the island stops and the chance to snorkel was out of this world stunning 🤩 On the flip side we were not expecting the level of people also visiting and the commercialization. To visit a remote small island in the sea to find rows of deck chairs and umbrellas for hire and people selling souvenirs and clothes was not the picture we were expecting. It was nice to see a little bar with cold drinks and beers etc but to not be able to sit out of the sun unless you paid for a chair and umbrella was again not the experience we were expecting on a remote island stop. Maya island was great to experience but the stop was packed with people, and not a romantic remote memory like the film. Our guide was great and funny and we ran to time all day. Constant water and local Pepsi available all day. NOTE: getting on and off the boats and also at the dock is not ideal for people that are not mobile. Even though the guys are great at helping you the steps are deep. TAKE LOTS OF CASH - ALMOST ALL PLACES DON’T TAKE CREDIT CARD AND THOSE THAT DO CHARGE BETWEEN 3 and 7% 😱
A great time at the Islands, Angel team was great and our Guide Spicy was amazing. Everyone who come to Thailand for a holiday must try this.
I want to thank guide Jenny and the guys on boat 455. The whole day was brilliant and worth every penny. We were not rushed and she explained everything in perfect language and was wealth of information. All islands were beautiful and the snorkelling equally amazing. Would recommend to everyone
The trip was great. The beverage was good and cold the whole time .Yoyo the trip guide was also very nice .
Sea Ángel tours, and most likely the other companies that organize these trips to phi phi, are very commendable in the way they have to heard hundreds of people in the daily tours. Although the tour is affordable, you’ll still be offered extras that increase the final cost (wet shoes, long tail boat, entrance to the park, etc.). If you have the means or you have more than 4 people in your party, you’ll be better off hiring a private tour that can spare you from a set and rushed agenda and having to spend your day with other 40 people in your boat rushing from one place to another. Having said that, those islands must be visited!
Got booked in for the wrong day, van didn’t even show up. We booked for the 3rd of May and all our details came on the morning of that day, still oddly our tour details said that the tour was on the 2nd. Tried contacting the tour organiser but they didn’t even provide a number to call. Waited at least 2 hours to get picked up at the point, even the customer support still can’t contact the tour operator right now. Right now i’m still waiting on a refund, will be very upset if i am not issued one since i didn’t even get to go. So disappointed as my friends and i were looking forward to this trip.
Spicy our guide and the crew was amazing. Great scenery but so many people. It felt rushed at Phi Phi island for the ones who snorkelled. Lunch was very ordinary, mostly spicy food. Lots of talk and hard sell before even leaving the jetty.
We were picked up very early then kept waiting for nearly two hours at the harbour before bording. The crew and guide were helpful with my wife who has mobility problems. In spite of the fact that the paperwork from Viator clearly stated transport included they insisted on charging an extra 400 Bht for the taxi.
Great itinerary! Explored major vista points across 3 islands. The staff and guide, DeeDee, was very helpful
It was a good experience with. Viator .looking for more future tours .will recommend to my friend and family
Maya beach and snorkelling were the most beautiful and fun for us, however, we enjoyed to see other places too. Well organised trip. Great thanks to “Spicy” for being professional and very funny!!!!👌😎 Krzysztof with family
DeeDee was our tour guide, they made everything from start to finish seamless. We always felt included and supported in trying new things on each island and was always looked after! A memorable day! Thank you all from 2x happy Aussies!
Snorkling stops. The lunch on phi phi was horrible. It was so hot and strong thst we could not eat. Had to buy our owm lunch.
