Excellent service from start to finish! The team was very punctual, friendly, and professional. They planned our visits at the perfect times to avoid the crowds at the beaches and swimming spots, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They took us to the Phi Phi Islands for lunch and gave us plenty of time to eat, explore, and do some shopping. Afterward, we had another opportunity to swim in the beautiful waters. They also provided fresh fruit and water throughout the trip and took lots of great photos of us. The entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. Amazing experience on the private boat tour of the Phi Phi Islands (Phi Phi Lee and Phi Phi Don). Sandy was an excellent guide, easy to understand and very friendly. We got lucky with sunny weather at the end of October and the islands were not very crowded. On Phi Phi Lee we saw the baby sharks, the views were incredible and the sand was the softest I've ever felt in my life. Amazing snorkeling as well - saw giant clams, a clownfish in an anemone, and even an eel! Can't recommend the experience highly enough!

Having a private tour allowed us to stay longer in the areas we preferred, we had a baby with us and the guide helped us out, and was so caring, and they made sure the babys safety was always the priority, they were very accommodating. My wife and I came to Phuket for our honeymoon from the USA and choose to do a private boat rental with scuba diving in the Phi Phi islands They picked us up at our hotel right on time in a spacious van - and brought us to the dock. The staff and team on board were great and helped create a great day based on conditions out including 4 sight seeing spots, lunch, a swimming lagoon and 2 dive sights. The diving was super fun - we did 2 seperate 40 minute dives and saw tons of wildlife/ reefs. Great experience all around - professional - fun - and so beautiful 100% recommend.

Was the best trip!!! We started the trip early so was able to get to the spots when no one was around. The staff were super thoughtful and accomodating, even making us a cake to celebrate our anniversary!! Would recommend this and can’t wait to come back

Just came back from Phuket. We were four families with kids from 6-12 years old, and having a private tour was the best decisions we made for our trip. The nice videos and blogs the team makes kept us looking forward to the tour (dont miss them - like their FB page too). We were travelling in the rainy season and the last thing we wanted was to have our tour on a day with thunderstorms (which happened on the day we arrived in Phuket) The customer service team assured that they could adjust the schedule should the weather be bad, and sent us weather forecast to give us peace of mind. This was especially important to me as I tend to over worry especially when we have so many kids. The CS team was always quick to respond to questions, and sent detailed and timely reminders before the trip, keeping us well informed of what to expect. The breakfast they provided was decent. Our guide Anwa was both friendly and professional. He gave a detailed briefing on the tour before we went on the boat, which was well maintained and very spacious for the 15 of us. I think one moment I would still recall for a very long time from now was when we sat at the front of the boat and seeing the Phi Phi Island getting closer and bigger as we approached, and that I was in awe admiring its magnificant cliffs. Watching a youtube video on this world famous landscape is one thing, appreciating its beauty in my own way is another. This is a world apart from being stuffed on a boat packed with many other tourists, and seeing the landscape for the first time only when you leave the boat. For those moments alone I did thought the private tour was well worth it :) Though we didn't set off early we were lucky to have arrived at Maya Bay before it became too crowded, again one good thing about travelling with a private tour. We then arrived at a different bay for swimming, but since we preferred to spend more time on snorkeling Anwa quickly adjusted his plan. We ended up having an hour of so (I lost track of time to be honest) for snorkeling and we all enjoyed it. The last highlight of the tour was lunch on an island - we had feared that it would be expensive as the restaurant was part of a hotel, but the food and drinks turned out to be very reasonably priced (and tasty) and we were thankful as we had hungry kids to feed! All in all you won't regret joining 5 star marine tours as they well deserve the ‘5 star’ title. We came to Phuket in a smaller group last year and joined a random island hopping tour at those small stalls on streets of Patong. I know you can’t compare a random group tour and a private tour but in Cantonese, we say “the difference is nine streets”, if not eighteen streets in this case! And if you compute the cost per head - the difference is actually minimal. If you are travelling in a big group, look no further and just join one of their tours please. Thank you Anwa and the team for everything and of course Shaun and the rest of the staff for making island hopping in Phuket the most enjoyable experience for all adults and kids in our group. Did some research and 5 Star marine had the best prices and responded quick to my inquiries. They were flexible last minute on changing date for better weather. The day was fun and worth every penny. Well worth it, highly recommend 5 Star Marine

A brilliant experience for all the family. We booked direct and got great value for money as well as lots of support from the team on the weather and what to expect. There were 6 of us (including 4 teenagers) on the boat and there was loads of room inside and at the front. The Crew were really helpful and designed the day to fit us. One of our children has special needs and the crew were amazing at adapting perfectly to ensure she had a great day. We opted to spend more time in the boat and in the water, which meant we got to see loads. I recommend the 6.30 pick up. The crew helped us avoid all the crowds, including at Maya Bay. This tour would suit everyone as they personalise each trip.

Incredible day with Sun on our private tour and transfer to Phi Phi Don. Sun’s knowledge of the area was first class, it meant we were ahead of the crowds at each part of our day. Definitely allow the staff to build your itinerary. We felt safe throughout the day, our driver was exceptional in navigating some of the choppy seas we experienced. Communication from first booking was great. Would 100% recommend, excellent value for money.

We had an amazing day with 5 Star Marine! From the moment I booked, their communication was exceptional. They answered every question promptly and made the entire process so easy. On the day of our tour, our driver picked us up exactly on time and took us to the marina, where YA YA welcomed us with cold water and snacks. She was absolutely wonderful, and she and our captains took incredible care of us all day. We explored the stunning Phi Phi Islands, walked through beautiful Maya Bay, snorkeled at three different spots with amazing marine life, and visited Monkey Island to see the monkeys. Every stop was perfectly planned, and we never felt rushed. For lunch, YA YA recommended Paekruwit Phuket, a beautiful waterfront restaurant with some of the best seafood we’ve had in Thailand. It was the perfect addition to an already incredible day. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. They even made sure we got back to our resort comfortably at the end of the day. Without a doubt, this was the best day of our vacation. If you’re looking for a private boat tour in Phuket, I can’t recommend 5 Star Marine enough. Highlight of our Thailand trip! We had a blast snorkeling, seeing the monkeys and baby sharks! They gave us fresh fruit and tons of drink options! Very enjoyable!

Amazing boat trip I loved it and the water so clear

My friends and I had the most amazing day touring the Phi Phi islands. Great boat ride (got to hook up my Bluetooth for tunes)…said it was a red flag water/wave day but not bad at all. Better than a Texas lake. Hit the major landmarks, swam in the beautiful water (major plus for the included noodles to float), snorkeled and saw some baby sharks (shout out to our deck hand/master snorkler who guided us to them). Saw monkeys, turquoise water, The Beach movie location, caves and tons of gorgeous fish. Our guide Faii was amazing! She was watching out for us/taking care of us every second. Also had all of the information for every landmark. Set us up for a beautiful (and inexpensive) private lunch location. All in all it was a 5 star day! ❤️

This company is one of the best tour companies I’ve ever experienced! Everything including pre-trip communications, hotel pick up, getting on the boat, snorkeling spots, timing of beach excursions (low traffic times) to lunch and the ride home- everything was perfection! Our guide, Yaya, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, conscientious and friendly. We really enjoyed spending the day with her and learning about this area of Thailand. While snorkeling, we saw an incredible amount of fish - it was like being in an aquarium! And Yaya & boat crew timed everything so we didn’t have to fight the crowds. We had a fantastic day!

While venturing out to the Phi Phi Islands during the start of rainy season is probably not something most people would recommend due to the unpredictability of the weather, what I will say is that this tour likely became the highlight of our trip because of Yaya, the captain and crewmate, as well as the patience and generosity of the manager (I’m so sorry I forgot your name but you were so lovely in the brief time we spoke). For starters, the day was looking pretty bleak and dark, and with the cost of the trip in my mind, I was worried that it was going to be a total bust. The manager and team were super understanding of the situation, and gave us multiple options to assuage our concerns given the weather conditions. That alone was huge for us right there, as we didn’t feel locked into anything we didn’t want to do especially with factors outside of our control. We decided to go with one of the options which was venturing out to James Bond Island first and then deciding later whether to do Phi Phi Islands or not. Long story short, we ended up taking the risk and deciding to do Phi Phi Islands too, and thankfully we did — the weather cooperated with us just enough and cleared up even so that we could get the maximum potential of the trip. The boat ride and journey with Yaya and the team was fantastic — they were very attentive, knowledgeable, and overall just a lot of fun to be around. Let me emphasize that they helped to make the cost of the trip beyond worth it. There’s nothing quite like walking into Maya Bay, with the weather not only cooperating with us, but the beach almost being entirely cleared out and empty because of the time of the year we selected to go. Also, Yaya is an exceptional photographer and videographer — we have some pretty insane footage that we probably would not have been able to take by ourselves without her help. Highly recommend the tour and the team we were paired with.

We had the most incredible experience with 5 Star Marine Phuket. We travelled as a family of 7 with 4 children ranging from 9 months to 15 years old, and Rikkie and the crew were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They made sure we saw all the beautiful sights without ever feeling rushed, constantly checked in on everyone, and made the entire day feel relaxed, personalised and so much fun for the kids and adults alike. We travelled during wet season in May and experienced some very wild weather and CRAZY waters on the way home, but the crew handled everything so professionally. At no point did we feel unsafe — they were calm, experienced and took incredible care of us the entire time. If you’re looking for a private boat tour in Phuket with a family, especially with young children, I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. We had a group of 15 and the tour was fabulous. We had a medical episode on board and the crew went above and beyond to get us to the closest medical facility. They continually checked and and also offered Dr services when we returned to the marina. Absolutely brilliant company, would 100% use again.

We had a brilliant day can’t recommend enough. We were traveling with our three year old and four month old baby and were so well taken care of. Yaya our guide was so kind and played on the beach and in the sea with our toddler meaning we could relax a bit. They took us to all the nice spots around phi phi and a lovely lunch stop on a quite beach then we had a short snorkel stop. Picked up from our hotel in phucket and dropped off at our new hotel krabi with all our luggage. We left it up to our crew what to do and where to go an d it was perfect but they were always checking we were happy and we could have had more control if we wanted it but I was happy to switch off my brain and relax and go with the flow. If you are thinking about it just do it. Worth every penny

Absolutely loved our day trip with these guys! We booked the private tour for just the two of us - our guide Wa was brilliant. He came into the water to snorkel with us and led us into places away from the crowds and we saw squid, baby sharks and barracuda. Also stopped at different locations and an authentic Thai floating restaurant for lunch along the way. An absolutely magical day out that we will never forget.

We never felt rushed, and they tailored the route perfectly based on the conditions and our preferences. The boat was immaculate and felt very high-end. Worth the admission fee! This is a properly organised, professional outfit offering a really great day out on the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our Phi Phi Islands tour. Our guide was excellent. She was in charge, but knowledgeable and fun, and the crew were courteous and helpful. There was flexibility to avoid the really touristy crowded areas (we were not interested in instagrammable photos) but opportunities to snorkel and swim in quieter areas. Our drop off for lunch was superb - truly delicious in the most amazing setting. The speedboat had two speeds - top speed or stop - but got us to our destinations without losing any belongings to the wind on the way. No seas snakes, or aggressive clown fish, but a host of other sea life including a reef shark and just a brief New Year's water fight with the boat next door. A fabulous day out, highly recommended.

We extended our invitation to them to have lunch with us to express our appreciation, but they graciously declined to give us privacy. Faultless from the first communication to the last. Our family of 5, with 3 teenagers, absolutely loved this tour. We were fortunate enough to go out with Alex who was engaging and became part of the faintly for the day. He prioritised our desire to do as much snorkelling as we could and took us to some great spots. We saw black tip sharks, puffer fish, clown fish, eels, sea snakes and seahorses amongst others. While the cost of the tour is very expensive we felt it was well worth it. Pick up at 6.30am from the hotel had us out in front of the crowds at every stop. Maya Bay was quiet, such a stunning location. We went snorkelling at Shark Bay, saw Monkeys at Monkey Bay, quick stop at Mellow and More on Phi Phi Don (good was excellent) for lunch and then more snorkelling to finish off a top day. Communication was excellent, can’t fault 5 star in any way. Topped off by our tour guide Alex sending us a whole file of photos he took of us throughout the day. As I said it is very expensive but worth it as the tour is tailored to your interests and you get taken to places that few others are visiting. It is also tailored to the conditions on the day. Highly recommend!

We arrived at 5 Star on the day of our booking and experienced a medical emergency just prior to departing the dock. The 5 Star team's thoughtful, caring, and professinal response was amazing. While we were unable to continue with the charter, Shaun checked in with us throughout the day, and we were abe to rebook at no additional cost, which was gracious of Shaun and very much appreciated! What the whole epispode revealed is that while 5 Star keeps the emphasis on the fun you'll have on the water seeing the sights, snorkeling, etc, they are an extremely family oriented business and an amazing team of safety-focused pofessionals that you can 100% trust without hesitation to provide you an amazing time on the water and bring you safely home at the end of the day. Communication is proactive and thorough throughout, and the 5 Star boats are impeccably clean, comfortable, well maintained, offer plenty of shade, and are ideally suited to get you out to your destinations and back swiftly and comfortably. We had an absolutely fantastic day! Communication prior to our visit was great and very reassuring. Every single possible detail was catered for, our guide (Spicy) was so so helpful, friendly and kind to the children! Our son had a special birthday cake 🎂 which was really unexpected and a lovely surprise. The timings worked perfectly and each place we visited seemed so calm and peaceful away from the crowds. We felt so lucky and it’s been a real highlight of our Thailand adventure. Certainly day the kids will never ever forget 🥰 and would highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed and it was 100% worth the splurge to have a private experience.
