We had a wonderful experience on our island-hopping tour to Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay and Bamboo Island! A special shout-out to our tour guide, Billy, who was absolutely amazing! He was funny, friendly, entertaining and always made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the trip. His cheerful personality definitely made the experience even more enjoyable. The boat was spacious, comfortable, beautiful and very clean. Everything was well organised, and the crew were friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the food too! The appetizers served upon arrival were delicious, and the lunch was really good as well. Coffee and tea were also available throughout the trip, which was a lovely bonus. The only part that was slightly disappointing was the snorkeling experience. We were hoping to see more marine life, especially colourful fish, but unfortunately, there weren’t many around during our visit. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed the beautiful islands and stunning scenery. Thank you to Billy and the entire crew for making our trip such a memorable one. Your hospitality and great service made all the difference! Highly recommended! Would definitely love to do this again! ❤️

Andi and his crew were fantastic and friendly! Definitely recommend! And the food is delicious
Experience, thank you very much. Have a lovely day.
Beaches were beautiful. Snorkelling was great. Boat crew were helpful. Guide spoke good English. Boat a bit noisy but scenery was worth it.
Stone and his team were excellent.Although the weather and water conditions didn't play along, they still made us feel safe and enjoyed our trip
Such good crew, the guide was amazing. It was so fun
Great trip - crew brill - shout out to STONE - this was our 2nd trip with ALP - first trip was James Bond island had such a good time we rebooked for maya beach - I was concerned regarding the weather as we had a monsoon - they advised which day would be best and they delivered - also sent daily photos showing the weather on the trips before ours - great piece of mind - fast comfortable boat/catamaran - they completely planned the trip to avoid weather and made sure we got to experience everything- highly recommended- thank you
Overall we had a great experience. We were picked up from our resort timely. The tour guide was exceptional in explaining to us the tour and did that throughout the tour. At the snorkeling points, high quality snorkels were provided. Snorkeling points were great locations. We had a couple in our group who did not know how to swim, and the crew helped them to make a memorable experience. Food was great. The tour guide had also arranged for water and soft drinks and fruit refreshments in addition to the great lunch. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic boat tour . Everything was very well organized, the boat was comfortable, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Special thanks to Nook and Lina for their great hospitality and professionalism. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Phuket!
Excellent tour. Our guide was Alex and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The boat was good and the crew was great.
Excellent experience, well run operation, from pick up at condo to drop off at end of day, thanks to all that made it a memorable day.
We had an amazing family trip. Andy, our guide, and the entire team were wonderful hosts and made us feel truly welcome. Everyone was looked after like a friend in their own home. Thank you so much—it was the best day!
Our guide Alex is the best! Thank you so much!!! I enjoyed the trip a lot and i will come back next holidays for sure! Merry Christmas
Excellent services, nice and experienced crew. Very good boat and the program well organized. We had a very nice day and we enjoyed the trip.
It’s very amazing trip with mister Niwat. We had fun. Visited a lot of places. Mister Niwat helped to take beautiful pictures and always smile. I enjoyed trip and food during the trip. Russian speaker guy is also nice, polite and positive.
Alex, was our host, he did an amazing, job and kept us entertained all day. The captain wss awesome as well as yhe deckhands
ALP is a friendly & reliable tour company & delivered on all fronts. Great places to visit for the day with children, including snorkelling. The new catamaran boat is super cruisy and spacious. Great value for money.
The boat was clean and comfortable. Booking was easy. Service was excellent. Weather and experience were phenomenal. Tour guide was excellent.
Great Experience. Extremely helpful staff, helped me with my little baby throughout the trip Must book them Beautiful experience
Very fun experience snorkelling and swimming. Team was very friendly and they had a camera man onboard as well. All around amazing
Love the experience ! Thank you !! All was perfect, the tour, and the crew amazing! The lunch was included and was very tasty! 😋 Oak and Liam were a very special guides.
Amazing crew!!!! Alexgg was epic. The safety was top notch . The food was great . I know you can get to this area 200 different ways bit this was it . Safe and professional and spoke great English! 5 stars all the way. I travel the world and have a deep understanding of tourism this company has it all.
It was a daily boat trip to the islands. We paid 3,000 baht per person. The guides are friendly but worth it. It is up to you if you have never been to an island before, visiting is ok.
Fantastic day trip with ALP from start to finish. One 40 something, a 19 year old and a 17 year old. Tony was our guide, he and the crew were lovely throughout. Highlight for me has to be the nostalgic first view of Maya Bay. The islands are just beautiful and not as busy as I had thought (granted we are at the end of rainy season, not that you’d know ☀️) Only comment I’d make is for those with a little motion sickness to preempt a bumpy ride home as the winds and waves pick up a little in the afternoon. Sturgeon did the job for us.
Pick up from the hotel was on time and even with Phuket’s traffic we were on time at the pier. Our all day guide, Tony, was fantastic explaining everything in detail. The boat crew was stellar, lots of help on and off for every stop. First two stops were for snorkeling and equipment was provided. The reefs did not disappoint and my daughter and I saw tons of marine life. Lunch was included at a buffet on Phi Phi Don. Back to the boat and a visit to Phi Phi Lee for swimming in a lovely lagoon surrounded by cliffs; it was packed with other boats and ours was maneuvered wonderfully. The final stop was a visit to Maya Beach for some stunning photos. No swimming here because of the baby shark nursery in the bay. I enjoyed the raised walkway and the botanical descriptors the National Park Service had posted. Two float bys that we also saw were Monkey beach and the Viking Cave. Having the speed boat was wonderful. The captain worked hard to keep the choppy seas from bouncing us around. It was a WONDERFUL day.
We had an amazing day with YoYo and the team! Our private boat tour with ALP was a highlight of our honeymoon. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of luxurious. Yo Yo, Leo, and Mr. Kim were exceptional guides/captains, making the day unforgettable with their friendliness, knowledge, and dedication to ensuring we had the best time possible. We spent the day swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, marveling at the vibrant marine life. The beaches we visited were stunningly beautiful, offering us the perfect spots to relax and soak up the sun. Lunch was great, with delicious food that added to the overall experience of luxury and comfort. YoYo taught us all about the islands and it was awesome to learn from him! Touring around the Phi Phi Islands, we were constantly in awe of the breathtaking scenery. The boat itself was pristine and well-equipped, making our journey smooth and enjoyable. We felt truly pampered throughout the day, and it was evident that every detail was carefully considered to provide us with an exceptional experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable, luxurious tour of the Phi Phi Islands, I can't recommend ALP Private Boat Tour enough. Thank you, Yo Yo, Leo, and Mr. Kim, for making our honeymoon so special!
Went on the Phi Phi Island day trip back in July. We had a lovely day and I must say the service was very good. My only fault is that there was a photographer on the day who took lots of lovely photos of us and you can then buy the photos at the end of the trip. They ended up being very expensive so we chose not to buy them on the day. I decided a few weeks later I would pay the price for the photos and so I emailed ALP to ask if I could pay for them online or if they could put me in contact with the photographer and I could arrange buying them from him. ALP did not reply to my email at all. I have emailed them twice now and never got a response. Just annoying as it would not take them long to reply to my emails. They were very quick to reply when I emailed to book the day trip, so I know they see them. The post experience customer service is very poor, hence why I gave a 3/5 rating. If not for this I would have given them a 5/5.
Was a great experience would go back again and the guide was very helpful. We saw a couple monkeys and went scuba diving was fun!
ALP did a great job managing a very busy list of locations. You will be exhausted after this tour, you definitely get your money's worth. It included snorkeling, lunch, observing the monkey's on the beach (NOTE: that you do not disembark from the vessel onto the beach with the monkeys - this is part of ALPs business requirements for your safety and I was happy not to be one of the tourist attempting to get a selfie with a pack of monkeys then being ended up being chased - they are wild animals!!), lunch is buffet style and since we are vegetarians, they went out of their way to make us vegetarian dishes, and the trip included a visit to Maya Beach. Maya Beach, although amazing, is crawling with people. You may get that an amazing shot if you are patient enough, but the crowds definitely take away the experience of this place. Especially once you get ready to leave the location and you have to wait for others in your group that may not be as punctual as they should. The waiting area is fortunately a shaded grove. I'm curious if Alex Garland and Leonardo DiCaprio knew the extent of the following to get to this beach when the movie was created. Note - that for those that have actually read the novel, Maya Beach isn't actually the beach in the novel, but it was the one from the movie. Doesn't matter, just know you will not be alone, ever, on this beach. You will see a new level of SELF-indulgence at this location from the tourists. Even though the guards are there to prohibit people going into the water farther than their knees, people still do. Anyways, ALP did a fantastic job managing the crowds at the dock and picking us up afterwards. The lagoon after Maya Beach is amazing, ALP did a fantastic job moving in and out of the lagoon. Again, there are a lot of people as this is THE trip to take from Phuket. The snorkeling is amazing around Phi Phi. So many fish and colorful clams. You do not feel rushed when you are in the water. The location with a beach was really nice; recommend going along the swimming area boundary to see the larger fish, plus less people in this area. The reef section is in the middle of the swimming area to see the reef fishes. As this is THE trip from Phuket; I recommend using ALP! They are professional, kind, and a great crew.
I may not have done my research but this trip was nothing short of a nightmare . The crew were great but the destinations were terrible ! Maya bay has 4000 visitors a day and most of them were there when we were , if you don’t mind being herded like cattle and taking selfies with hundreds of strangers then you will be fine . The sumptuous lunch promised was a buffet in a horrid back water that was so awful I fed mine to a hungry cat . We did not stop to meet friendly primates and we had a 15 minute swim again with hundreds of others and a 45 minute snorkel . By far our worst day spent in Thailand
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip. Although it was very crowded at times with other boats we knew to expect this and we could still swim and snorkel with no issues. The guide was great and the crew on the boat were also very good and helpful with getting on and off the boat. Lunch at hotel was very good. The only disappointment was the price of the photos taken by a separate company (1600 Baht). The photographer was good, but there were very few photos for the price paid.
The guide Andrew was patient; however, the location isn't 'disable' friendly neither special need adaptable. We went as a family of 5, fully paid and my son couldn't get on board because the stairs was very steep, gap in between the boat and the mounting station. Due to his special needs and anxiety, my whole family couldn't get on board. No refunds were issued. we had to pay extra to be taken back to our hotel. We felt so gutted.
I used this operator for my both one day trips to James Bind and Phi Phi islands, and they were extremely enjoyable. The instructor made the experience even better and her name is New. She made sure that everyone got the most from the trip.
Guide very good boat staff good. But the waves were quite wild that morning and the captain didn’t slow down to accommodate. I ended up with sea sickness. Also could of done with more time than one hour on bamboo island
This trip was unforgettable for so many reasons. The places that you visit/see are absolutely stunning and Oak (our guide) was fantastic - he was fun, informative and always on hand to capture those perfect pictures, all the while making sure everyone was cared for throughout the day. If you’re looking for a little island hopping action with the thrill of the sea breeze through your hair at speed, I can’t recommend this trip enough!
We booked the trip to Phi Phi Islands, unfortunately the boot was defect, but the staff organised the new one. Even of the delay, the full program was done, very good organised and guided by Alex. The trip is unforgettable. The places we visited were amazing. I can recommend!!!
Let me start off by saying that we had an amazing time exploring Phi Phi Islands. Big thank you to with the boat crew (K Alex) and team at Andaman Leisure Phuket. My family and I (6 of us) wanted a more private tour of Phi Phi Islands (given COVID and all) and the ALP team was very helpful and accommodating to arrange one for us very last minute, might I add. - We were picked up around 7:30am in the morning and started our trip on the boat around 9:30am with K Alex and his wonderful team - All throughout the trip we were left with the impression that the crew was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. - We first went to the beautiful Maya Bay, unfortunately we couldn’t swim there but for a good reason - conservation of the natural habitat on the island. - The view and pictures alone were worth the visit. - Then we were taken to the other side of Maya Bay where we had a short refreshing swim. - And not far from there (Phi Phi Leh I think, sorry forgot the names) we made a stop to snorkel. We had such a good time exploring the coral reefs and seeing all the sea creatures that lived in the ecosystem. - As some of us were not so comfortable with the water, K Alex himself accompanied us in the water with a life buoy to hold on to and gave us a tour of the coral reefs. - We then had lunch on Phi Phi Don, after which we headed out to Bamboo Island for another snorkelling stop - At Bamboo Island, my 63 year old father who doesn’t know how to swim wanted to try some snorkelling. K Alex without hesitation ushered my father into the water and patiently taught him how to snorkel. My father ended up doing more than I had thought he would be able to. He was very grateful to K Alex and the team for giving him that experience. - We saw a few things along the way but those were the highlights of our trips The boat ride was pleasant and having the boat to ourselves was well worth. All in all, we were super impressed by the level of service provided by the team at ALP. And to anyone reading, I would highly highly recommend going on a trip with ALP (especially a private one). To the ALP team, thank you again so much. See you guys again when we come back to Phuket!
This trip was so much fun! Absolutely beautiful sights, amazing snorkeling, and great staff! Oak was our guide and he really made sure everyone was having fun, was well cared for, and got all the pictures! I wish words could say how beautiful everything you will see on this trip is.
A lot of reviews here are not very detailed. This one will cover everything. Arrival at the dock -- gift shop selling a lot of stuff if you forgot sunscreen or a waterproof phone case. Free seasick pills. Downside -- bathrooms are gross, no soap dispenser anywhere, toilet paper is outside, you have to grab paper on your way into the stall. Don't learn the hard way, when it's too late to stand up and walk out to get some. The tour company also had given the day's roster to several timeshare salespeople who twice hunted us down by name and pitched a 90 min sales presentation in exchange for massage, or show tickets. No thanks. The speedboat is very average, there are many many of these doing tours around Phi Phi and they are all the exact same thing. Riding out the water was very choppy and the front part of the boat has a very bumpy ride, this can be pretty uncomfortable. Inner seats are safer from bumps and have a lot of shade but it seemed crowded in there and you are sitting sideways the whole time, facing the opposite row of people without much of a view. Either way the boat kind of sucks compared to a yacht but all the tours seemed to use this same thing. Our guide started our kind of snippy (I gave you the life jackets to put on, not to keep beside you!) but over the course of the day he was very nice and jokey and I liked him. The tour has a guy taking pictures of the group all day which sounds awesome until you realize very late in the afternoon that all of the photos are for an extra cost, 1800bht I think. Pretty obnoxious as this was not announced early and possibly led people to not take their own pictures and then become stuck to buy these. Also worth noting two of our other tours in Thailand had a picture taker who posted the team pics online for free. Obnoxious upsell. The lunch sucks. Realllly unhealthy fried bland meh. The spaghetti tasted weird. Flies everywhere. Bring a protein bar. The stops were of varying quality. Maya Bay is gorgeous, you cannot enter the area you can only see it from afar but it is worth the stop. The snorkeling/swim stop was pretty beautiful, in the shadows of these towering cliff islands. The monkey beach stop was a huge disappointment, the boat doesn't let you off (it is possible to get off, we saw other groups walking on that beach). But this tour just circles some cliff walls where monkeys are climbing. Pics are meh bc the monkeys camouflage into the stone and you are pretty far away and stopped only for a couple minutes. If you are dreaming of some monkey bonding moment you will need to arrange that separately, this definitely will not satisfy you. The Phi Phi island beach stop (that is, free time after lunch) was nice, we found some shops and a beautiful beach, would have loved even more time there. But really. Forget the lunch. Meh. Better off just walking into town and buying something on your own. After lunch there is another beach stop at a really beautiful island and that beach was quiet and just about as good as it gets for the day. We had a lovely nap in the shade. The boat is full and you are in close proximity with a lot of people all day and it's a long, hot day...so, if you have nutty people in your group and if the general public can annoy you easily, be warned. For example, our group included an Italian woman who got sick very soon after takeoff and we had to go home to unload her and then relaunch. There was also a family whose kid is afraid of water and the horrible parents were screaming, insulting, hitting him throughout the trip. And you don't have many options except to just sit with these people and endure the day. The final irritation of the trip was when the tour lead came to collect everyone's rubber bracelets. You don't get to keep them. Unless you want to buy one. Nah, thanks. Oh and then when you land in the parking lot, you sit around for quite a while. The return vans do not take the same routes as the morning pick-ups. I am currently in a van w/2x the number of people we had in the morning which means it will take twice as long to get home as it did to arrive to the dock. Should have just cabbed off by ourselves. If you take group tours all the time and are used to this stuff then great. If you are hesitant to get on this group tour because you know deep inside that group tours are blech, trust your instincts and find some other way to see Phi Phi. By comparison the Passion lux tour to Phang Nga Bay is highly recommendable. Do that. Don't do this.
My girlfriend and I were given a 15-minute slot for collection from our hotel in Patong, and were picked up on time. The company is very well organised. Once at the bay, Cooper led our group tour, and kept things entertaining, even if some of his jokes were bordering on being too cheesy. The camera man and other staff were also very friendly and helpful, and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I ended up getting salt in my mouth during the snorkel faze, and stepped on rocks and a sea urchin as a result. Learn from my mistake and take it easy... I’ve now got dark purple dots on my foot. The boat staff offered assistance with this and continued to check I was okay (which I was, despite the pain felt while walking). We went to the Phi Phi Islands (there are two), boated to Monkey Island (and watched from a distance), and finished up at Bamboo Island. The beaches and views, as you can see from the attached photos, are absolutely stunning and it was an honour to be there. Food was served at one of the islands, in buffet style, and this was pretty good. We were given time to explore on our own (for about an hour), and I was surprised to see quite a few little shops and places to eat. The day felt a little long as the excitement keeled over. As with anything worth seeing, a bit of travel and dealing with other excited tourists is necessary, and drags things down a bit. Having said that, I enjoyed the company on our boat. All in all, I really recommend this company. If I had a criticism, it’d be that they ask for 1800 baht for the photos taken by the photographer. To me, that’s beyond reasonable and they’d likely earn a lot more by reducing the price to 500-800baht. If not, most of the photos taken go to waste. It was obvious all the guests felt this way, as people questioned the amount. Given the cost of the trip already (3700 baht per person), it felt a bit cheeky. I looked rather scruffy anyway, so wasn’t too fussed about getting photos at the end! Thanks for reading 👍
Great time. Fun, knowledgeable guide (Andy), perfect weather. Really appreciated getting the pill for sea sickness (it really is that bumpy of a ride). Enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in crystal blue waters. Good food in buffet (not life shattering but it’s a buffet about what we expected). I do wish they had a half day version available. After all the sun and saltwater from the first portion of the of the day and lunch I was ready to head back to my hotel for a nap!
Speed boat was great - exhilarating ride and safe! Thought we could have skipped bamboo island but the highlight of the trip was PHI PHI. Spent 2 hours there ... wonderful snorkelling and in general a beautiful island ... must do when I thailand. We also went to the lagoon where we jumped off the boat ... awesome fun! It would be nice to have done some canoeing ... did not have on the trip. I lost my phone and the tour guide was nice enough to take pics and send them to me - a huge thanks to beer (the tour guide). A word of advice on the tour, take a water tight pouch for your cellphone (must have) - even if you keep it in your pocket it will get wet. If you dont plan to get off the boat and jump into the ocean not sure it is worth going in my opinion
this one day tour cost me 130 usd including acces to the national park we wer picked up at our hotel in panwa in a modern but not so comfortable van and taken to phuket boat lagoon pier (one hour). then taken to phi phi island in a speed boat which did not have many chances for good views. we could have a look at maya bay (not allowed to descend), have a swim in the area, we were later tkaen for lunch to phi phi village; lunch was a not very attractive buffet at maya restauarnt (drinks excluded), then taken for snorkelling to an area crowded of people , then taken to a not so attractive beach for swimming or resteing, then back to the pier and back in the hotel around 5 pm the paces qhere the boat stopped were always crowdd by other tourists from other boats, so the excursion did notseem to me so atractive the guide and staff were helpful and efficient
The tour guide was great. The snorkeling locations were quite busy but perhaps this is unavoidable on a day tour to Phi Phi.
We had an amazing day, it’s an experience you must try once in your life. Our guide, Enrico, is italian and lives in Phuket for more than 10 years. He knows all details of the nature, of the sea and of the islands, he made us feel at home for his nice behaviour. A full day seems long but minutes fly and you have short medium stops to enjoy the landscape. All the crew was professional and ready to help the guests. We will spend for sure other days with ALP!!
Booked them for the day for snorkeling. The guide is pretty funny and kept things going. Went to 2 nice spots for snorkeling . The bamboo and monkey island stopovers were pretty blah. The buffet lunch was edible at phi phi le
We had previously booked with ALP and enjoyed the trip so much, we had to book again with this company! The tour operator ALP are a bit more expensive than other operators however the staff, service and organisation are excellent and worth the extra money. The taxi collected us from the hotel and took us to the marina where you can have a coffee while you wait for the boat to depart. As this was a multi stop trip, our guide Cooper was on hand to explain where we were headed and how long we could have at each stop to explore. Bamboo island was the first stop on this trip and my personal favourite as I loved snorkelling here. We were also allowed to snorkel from the back of the boat once we had left the island for 30 mins which was like jumping into an aquarium!! Throughout the day, kee was taking photos and videos (including in the water) which were available to buy once back at the marina. The phi phi islands were spectacular, and we also boated past monkey beach, viking cave and maya bay (stopping on the boat but plenty of time for photos). The buffet lunch was also excellent. Overall, a very well organised and enjoyable trip! Thanks ALP!
Great day out, the guides and staff were very welcoming and helpful and full of knowledge! The buffet lunch was top notch, overall great experience would 100% recommend to anyone, families, couples, or lone travellers!
Good beaches, snorkeling experience. It's an hour ride by speed boat from the pier to the first beach stop. ALP guide Mr.Nikom was funny and entertaining and planned it a nice way to avoid crowds. It was like we were the first few people to reach anywhere and enjoy and then the crowd comes. Lunch was good enough with rice, one veg, one fish, one chicken, one noodles, one soup, pasta, fried chicken, fruits, coffee, tea. The snorkeling was good. I don't know swimming and with life jacket on it was not difficult as I thought. It took me sometime to manage with the snorkeling device, but once I got it, I didn't want to leave in an hour. The last stop at Rang Yai island was the most loved spot in the trip. White Sandy beach with turquoise water, coconut palms, beach chairs under the trees close to the beach. Thanks to our tour guide Mr.Nikom and the photographer Mr. Bill who made it a memorable tour.
My girlfriend and I chose to do this tour during our stay in Phuket. The pick up from the hotel and the waiting area once we arrived at the dock was really well organised. We stopped at a couple of islands with brilliant white sand beaches. As well as stopping for a spot of snorkelling - my girlfriend saw 3 young reef sharks!! Our guide Nikom was very knowledgeable and highly entertaining. He did a great job communicating with a number of different nationalities on our boat and making everyone feel at ease. Also proving us with soft drinks throughout the day. For lunch we stopped at Phi-Phi don for a Thai buffet. It was very basic however was all we needed to keep us going for the day.
