Phi Phi & Bamboo Islands W/ Lunch By Speedboat Or Speed Catamaran

Really enjoyed the tour. it was beautiful and the team is so attentive and kind. got some amazing pictures and they take you to some insane islands. Ray and his team on 88 are awesome. Bao Bao is a skilled photographer which was totally worth the price.

Well kept boat with courteous, helpful staff very attentive to needs and wants of all onboard. You won’t be sorry.

Friendly staff that do their very best to make your trip nice. But there is only so much they can do since everywhere you go there are large tourist groups already. We went on the early morning tour with getting up at 4 in the morning but still encountered large crowds in all the hotspots. And you’re in a speedboat with 20 people, yes, but what is not advertised is that it’s three of these boats by the same company that are taking the same trip almost side by side. So in the end you could also just go on a boat with 60 people on it and pay less. The activities are really nice, especially the swimming parts but all in all I‘d recommend to find a really private tour to islands that are not as overcrowded as Maya Beach yet. Still: thank you again to the staff for really trying everything to make this a fun experience. It helped a lot! We felt welcome and looked after. If it was only for the staff I‘d rate the trip much higher but I have to be honest in order to make the reviews worthwhile.

An absolutely brilliant day out - although it was really busy - it felt like a small group and we stopped in quieter areas - Goodie our guide was AMAZING - he made it fun with lots of laughs and really personal - he made it ! 100% the best . Goodie is terrific !

From start to finish this was an amazing trip. We were collected from our hotel and taken to a beautiful new boat at the Royal Marina. We were so well looked after. If we went in the water our towels were hung up to dry and folded back up at our seat for our return. We were given water, juice and fruit regularly and had a lovely lunch with a large choice. We were showered when we returned to the boat and our shoes were taken ashore for us. There were 5 people on board to look after 20 people so we truly were treated like kings. They kept us safe and looked out for us at monkey beach. We have never seen so many fantastic fish. A diver came into the water to guide us to the best spots to see reef sharks, clown fish, parrot fish and so much more. The day would not have been as fantastic as it was without Ray and his team. Thank you for the memories.

Tour was ok. A lot of stops. Only problem was a monsoon hit and the show still went on. It was raining hard from beginning to end.

This tour was amazing! It ran very smoothly throughout the day. Our tour guide, Anton, and the crew were all very lovely, helpful and accomodating throughout the tour. Definitely recommend this tour when visiting Phuket!

VMarine is an excellent tour company, their communication, pick up and tour is as described. HOWEVER this rating is specifically on this tour of theirs. These places are all too busy except the snorkeling spot. The first stop Bamboo island is jam packed, you have to wear a life vest to go ij the water at all. The swimming area is pretty small for the numbers there and that's what they also call their first snorkel spot. As an experienced snorkeler you aren't getting good results at the end of a sandy beach filled with people. So really no snorkeling there. They really should just take that spot off the tour. Next spot was snorkeling off the boat for 40 min. Great spot. No vest required. Then you stop for lunch. According to their website description it's lunch just for your group. Not exactly. It's lunch for all of V Marines groups (5 boats of people). While we thought the buffet was okay, later that night we both got horribly sick (vomiting & diarrhea). Ruined our next day. It absolutely was from that food that had been sitting out (only time we at the same thing the entire trip & not eating sketchy stuff in 3 weeks). The chafing dishes were luke warm, just looking back a HUGE mistake. Then is Maya Bay. Don't even bother with a tour that goes here. There are a ton of boats squeezing into a floating dock. You then walk a couple football fields on a raised platform with TONS of people only to get to a packed beach you get whistled at if you go in past your ankles. This wasn't during their 2 month shut down. This is how Maya Bay is now. Honestly the beach isn't the most amazing I've seen having traveled throughout the Caribbean & Central America. This is a total skip. The next stop they pull in with a ton of boats and you can swim off the back about 40 feet in about 12 feet of water. Teenagers liked jumping off the boat but not very picturesque and the smell of all the diesel fuel. Viking Cave you cruise past. It looks like any other beach erosion area TBH. So I would not recommend this tour. Do something else.

I joined a guided tour to Bamboo Island and Phi Phi Island, and the snorkeling was absolutely fantastic — even with rain falling all day, the underwater views were worth it. The crew was friendly and the stops were beautiful. That said, I learned that riding a speedboat on the open sea is a very different experience from a speedboat on a lake — the ride was much rougher than I expected. Next time, I’’ll probably choose a tour that doesn’t involve a speedboat. But overall, a memorable day with amazing snorkeling and gorgeous scenery.

Beautiful beaches. Plural. The cliffs of PhiPhi and the lagoon would have been worth it themselves. We did so much. Crew was fantastic. Lunch was good and there was a pool and showers to get off some salt. The Beach famous beach was packed. So gorgeous but I wouldn’t mind skipping it. The real treat was all the natural stuff.

Guide was wonderful. Loved our experience. Boat ride was pretty rocky so take motion sickness pills.

I couldn’t ask for more fun! This guys (V Marine crew) made up my day. Everything was great, snacks, lunch, punctuality, instructions from the tour guy were precise. Truly recommend 😎💕

The crew was great but these islands are not as nice as other tours. Because of all the boats, there was a film on the water in our first stop so a little gross. The first snorkeling stop in Pileh was amazing. Wish we had stayed there longer and skipped bamboo island which had unreasonable regulations and such a small ropes off area for snorkeling and swimming with many other tours. They make you wear life jackets there and it made snorkeling hard especially with the current. I would look for a snorkeling devoted tour next time. The food was also not fresh - soggy spring rolls and overcooked pad Thai which was made with spaghetti rather than rice sticks. The salad and curry were okay but who books these tours for the food. I’d say find one without or eat light so you can find really good food afterwards on your own. Lastly, they will rinse your shoes before the tour ends, so if you have sneakers make sure they put them in a plastic bag. I wear minimalist shoes which have remained unwearable since the tour. Just be prepared is all. The other tours were much better and if you don’t like speeding in choppy water to the point where your absorbing every shock of the boat falling on the water, opt for one of the other types of boats.

Can't recommend this tour enough. We had the best time visiting so many places, swimming, snorkeling, exploring some of the best scenery & beaches we've ever seen. Our sexy guide Goodes had great english, was fun, and so professional. Kept us informed every step of the way. The captain was excellent, felt so safe. And even a couple of crew to keep us hydrated, snacks, fresh water showers, & getting us off & on the boat safely. Well done all xo

We booked this because we heard how overcrowded other tours can be. This was a great one and so much to see and do. The snorkelling part was the best. Highly recommend even though it's a long day.

The itinerary was well planned and not rushed. plenty of time to explore various parts of phi phi islands. lunch at resort was decent. tour guide and crew work very well as a team. drinks and food on cruise are free flow and plenty! overall a wonderful experience at the Andaman Sea!

What an amazing day trip! We opted for the early morning excursion and it was a good move. Our guides were excellent, they worked very hard to make sure we all had a good time (there were 20 of us). Sunee (I’m sure I misspelled his name) was our main guide and he was great, he made sure to explain everything to us. Spectacular views everywhere we went! We went to the famous Maya Bay, monkey island, had lunch on a private island, went snorkeling and plenty of other activities. We were in Thailand for a month and this excursion was one of the best experiences.

The trip to the Phi-Phi islands was amazing 😎! We visited many of them and made great videos and photos! The boat crew was extremely professional, patient and very friendly! We had plenty of fruits and snacks , and a lunch (included in the cost of the trip). The weather was perfect, but be sure to take sun protection!

This was awesome! Our guide, Sexy Goodies, was amazing as were the boat crew! The boat was very clean with enough space for all 20 participants. Goodies also prepared us well for Maya beach so we knew what to expect. Our guide took photos/videos with our phones for us when we were jumping in the water. Also, there was NO shortage of cold water and snacks! We had been offered cold water continuously and enjoyed some fresh fruit between stops! I would definitely recommend this tour!

I have never met more friendly courteous staff on any kind of a trip. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had the best experience. I can’t swim and had never snorkelled before and one of the crew took me by the hand, reassured me and led me through the water to look at the fish/corals so I felt completely safe at all times, I am forever grateful! The guide was fantastic! She was very informative and gave us fresh fruit, side drinks and water throughout the 8 hour trip. The buffet lunch was delicious and we had lots of opportunities to both swim & relax. I would give this trip 20 out of 10 thank you all so much!!!!!!

We’ve been on a few boat trips over the years, but this is one of the best by far. Pick up was on time and in a nice air conditioned mini bus, the driver was polite and a more than competent safe driver. The check-in at the marina was well organised and there was free tea, coffee and water available, the price includes 2 waterproof phone covers. The boat was clean and the staff 4 crew were fantastic, especially Ray who was the tour guide. It can get a little choppy when travelling at speed, so if you suffer with sea sickness take some medication beforehand, it takes about an hour to get to the first island. All the islands are stunning… total paradise! Lunch at the Holiday Inn hotel was excellent, a good choice and very plenty of it. Water, Coke, and snacks are served free of charge on the boat throughout the day. We got back to the marina at approximately 4.45pm. All in all an excellent day and highly recommend.

We went on Wednesday February 5th, and our tour leader was P. This is my third island hopping tour and this was easily hands down the best one by far, head and shoulders above the rest. P and the entire crew were exceptional, showing everyone the most upstanding hospitality. The itinerary was well thought out and paced perfectly, never felt rushed like we were corralled from one attraction to the next. The two snorkeling stops and swimming in the lagoon were easily the highlights. Refreshments were served throughout the whole day. Our lunch spot was isolated from the other tour groups (which I will touch on) and they accommodated my dietary restrictions with a view overlooking the ocean. Joining a tour with a small group will make all the difference. There was enough room for everybody on board with adequate space for everyone. We lucked out with the perfect weather, and lucked out even more that everyone in our group were well behaved and conscientious of others. My previous two island tours were negatively impacted by obnoxious loud groups who were either oblivious or didn’t care that they were not the only ones on board. Last point I want to touch on is you get what you pay for. This is my second Viator island hopping trip. The third one we found at one of the many local vendors you can find throughout the entire island. They are much cheaper but buyer beware. Those trips they will pack as many people as possible,; we were packed like sardines with not enough space for everyone to be seated. At lunch all the similar tour groups ate a common buffet area that resembled a cafeteria . Anyways, circling back to V Marine tour, I highly recommend and would easily book again on my next visit.

Overall the staff was professional, wind was very strong causing the water to be extremely choppy. They didn’t have enough life vests for everyone on board which causes risk of emergency.

Excellent….a little confusing at first with the 100+ people all gathered at the marina after being dropped off, but many people giving directions on what to do and where to go….very organized. The islands, snorkeling, beaches, and lunch were spectacular!! So many fish during snorkeling….they were eating out of my hand. The onboard toilet was available, but many opportunities on shore because you can’t really use the toilet onboard while the boat is bouncing over the waves at 40-50 miles per hour. The lunch was fantastic! These people made only drawback….it was supposed to be small group of 20 people, but we had 28 on our boat….it still wasn’t crowded, but more people than we expected.

This was the best boat tour we’ve ever been on! Everything was perfectly planned by the tour company from start to finish, with great timings to see all the different spots in the Phi Phi islands. We did the sunrise tour, which was so worth it to beat the crowds and the heat. Sunny and his crew were amazingly friendly, thoughtful and so so helpful with our two kids. If you’re planning to go to the Phi Phi islands, do this tour!!!

Ray and the team on boat 999 from V. Marine Tour were the best! Our package included transfers to and from the marina which was good because it was around an hour from Patong including picking up of other passengers. What I liked about this particular package as opposed to others I saw while out there was we were not crammed in like sardines in the boat, the boat itself had plenty of grunt to get us to the islands quickly (there is not much to see on the way out to the islands in my opinion) and they had ample amount of fruit, snacks and water / soft drink while on board. The lunch was provided at a resort on one of the island stops which was okay. A trip to Phi Phi is a must do while here and these guys really make it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend!

What an incredible experience with V. Marine on our trip to the Phi Phi Islands! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, like something straight out of a postcard. Every moment was unforgettable. The trip was impeccably organized—like a well-oiled machine. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. The boat ride was comfortable and accommodating for everyone on board, and we were treated to a delicious lunch, along with drinks and snacks throughout the day. A huge highlight of our day was our tour guide, Sexy Goodies. Their humor, character, and kind, caring nature transformed what could have been just a great day into something absolutely extraordinary. We were picked up at the cruise port in Patong. We had arranged a private tour and it was a good thing since with traffic, the transfer was more than an hour. Upon arrival we were registered and then boarded the speedboat almost immediately. The boat is very loud and goes quite fast. Our travel day the water was pretty rough but the captain did a great job trying to minimize the bumpiness. Seasickness meds were a must for those of us who are sensitive. It was 1 1/4 hours to our first stop on Monkey Beach. We enjoyed this scenic spot. Then we boarded the boat again and moved slightly off shore to a spot for some amazing snorkeling. Fantastic marine life and coral. We then went to several spots including Bamboo island and then on to a stop for lunch. The food was served at a hotel and the variety and quality was excellent. We stopped to spend some time at the National Park, another location to see some caves and swam in a beautiful lagoon. Our final stop was Maya Bay. The most beautiful bay of the day but crawling with people. All day Ibi and his crew were extremely attentive. Checking in often to ensure we were ok, making sure everyone was comfortable, helping us off and on the boat, providing snacks and bottled water. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch! They were all so sweet and focused on making our day perfect. They even took numerous pictures of us so we have some wonderful memories. Our private transfer back to the port was needed as the traffic was worse later in the day but we made it with 1/2 hour before the last scheduled tender. The ship tours were much later coming back. But we were relaxing back on the ship by this time. Highly recommend this tour and company to explore this beautiful area.

We took the very early departure with 20 people. We are glad we did! We left the main dock early and took the boat about 20 minutes out and had breakfast on a beach as the sun was coming up and so therefore, we beat the crowd of other people behind us. As we went into the various sites, we were one of the first boats there, and then other boats came in after us. Alan was our main tour guide and he was so gracious and kind and helpful. He made sure to keep us on time and safe. You can tell he really has a heart for this business and for the tourists. I give him “all the stars” for the rating of the tour!

The tour has a lot of things to do so you are always active and enjoying. Our guide was always helping us to have a good time and even calm down some people that was not good in the boat ride.

The places we visited were beautiful. Unfortunately, they were very crowded and had shorter times swimming then anticipated and in a small area. I felt like we were cattle being shuttled from place to place. And our guide Way Way or Why Why (not sure of spelling) was repeating things unnecessarily and not very polite to other crew members. Lastly, we were running late on way back so driver of boat drove more quickly which was very uncomfortable and did not enjoy.

We had a memorable day exploring Phi Phi and Bamboo Islands with family. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we all made memories that will last a life time. From going to see the monkeys, snorkeling, and jumping off the boat our entire group had a blast! We did the photo package which I would recommend doing as well. This was one of the best days of our vacation in Thailand!

Loved this tour to phi phi islands. Our tour guide Mr Alan was fantastic, along with the rest of the crew. The speed boat trip was brilliant, although a little choppy on the way out. This is up there with my best ever experiences.

Everything, we loved Maya Bay especially. Sonny & his crew were awesome too! We highly recommend this tour to anyone, it truly is a magical place to visit, Sonny & his crew were so funny, caring and took care of everyone very well! What an epic adventure this trip was! Can’t speak more highly of the Wy Wy, captain and phenomenal crew whom went out of their way to assist us and ensure our safety whilst fostering the perfect environment for a relaxing and amazing fun filled trip! The hotel transfer was seamless, and the safety briefing was great before we took off by speed boat to the spots on the itinerary. Snacks and drinks were offered all trip and kept us energised. The speed boat was the fastest way to get to the destinations and although a bit loud and bumpy at times, was exhilarating. The group was under 20 people and was the perfect size. Buffet lunch was quite delicious but was out done by the impeccable view by the water post lunch as we relaxed and took it all in. Monkeys were great to see, as were the tropical fish whilst snorkelling! Wow! Then it was time to see the most gorgeous truly emerald green water I’ve ever seen. The crew supported us and kept us safe as we jumped off the boat and had some fun in the water! We paid extra for the photography service and i must say it was money well spent!! Ong stayed with us all trip and captured some amazing shots (especially under water!) and was just the sweetest guy. If you’re considering upgrading to this, do it!! Thanks again team!!! Will definitely do it again when back in Phuket!
