Tour guides were great! Very nice and eager to make sure we were happy. Islands were beautiful. Clean boat, plenty of drinks, and a plate of fruits. We had a real nice time. Bring extra money cash for any national park fees.

From the email request to the transfer back to our hotel, 5 Star Marine went above and beyond. Extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable, everyone from YaYa our guide, “Captain America” and “Captain Jack Sparrow” our boat crew were fantastic! YaYa knew all of the best places to know and her recommendations for lunch meant we had the best meal in Thailand we’ve ever had! Can’t speak highly enough of 5 Star Marine!

We had the most incredible experience with 5 Star Marine on our private tours to Similan Islands and James Bond Island! Both trips were absolutely amazing—from the smooth planning to the top-notch facilities on the boat. The service was outstanding, and every staff member was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely at home. It honestly felt like we were out at sea with friends rather than on a tour. What made it even more special was the flexibility. We could customise the itinerary while on board, and our guide Yaya was exceptional—she somehow knew exactly what we wanted and tailored the experience perfectly for us. And a bonus—Yaya is an amazing photographer We came back not just with great memories, but with stunning photos too (all taken for us!). We had the best time on our two boat days visiting so many beautiful islands — it was such a highlight of our trip! We actually went on two separate tours and were lucky enough to have the same crew both days, which made it even better. Our tour guide, Ya Ya, was absolutely incredible. She, along with the entire boat crew, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the whole time. They were so attentive, constantly checking on us, helping with anything we needed, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Having the same team both days made the experience feel even more personal — they remembered us, looked out for us, and truly cared about us having an amazing time. The days were so much fun — we hit all the spots we were hoping to see, explored stunning islands, swam in crystal-clear water, and enjoyed every minute from start to finish. Everything was well organized but still relaxed and fun. They also took us to a delicious lunch spot that was the perfect mid-day break — such a great touch! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend Ya Ya and the crew enough. They truly made both days so special! 🌊☀️

We had the best experience with 5 Star Marine and honestly can’t recommend them enough. From the moment we booked, everything was super smooth. They were incredibly communicative, responsible, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. When we arrived, the staff immediately made us feel welcome and treated us so kindly all day. The boat was beautiful, spacious, and very well priced for a private tour. Drinks and fresh fruit were included, which was such a nice touch. Everything felt clean, safe, and really well run. The biggest highlight is that the tours are completely customizable, so we got to go exactly where we wanted without feeling rushed or stuck with a big crowd. Huge shoutout to our crew and especially our guide Jimmy, who was amazing. He was knowledgeable, fun, and happy to adjust the day based on whatever we wanted to do. We’ve done larger group tours before, and this was by far the best experience and absolutely worth the money (and honestly not much more than the crowded tours). If you’re debating booking with them, just do it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic trip. We asked to go the more quieter places and was so worth it. Boat was brilliant with water, soft drinks, fruit and a toilet on board as well. Billy our guide or sexy billy as he calls himself was great, so funny and has a really cheeky laugh. He certainly knows his stuff as well. Highly recommended

Booked a private tour to Phi Phi Islands, but with poor weather our guide adapted an alternative and was really flexible in making our day as good as it could possibly be. Great communication from 5 star marine from booking until tours end. Comfortable and well kitted out boat, and our guide Beer & Crew were fantastic. Quality operator all round.

From the initial enquiry to drop off last night 5 Star Marine were amazing to deal with. Absolute professionals and so accommodating. Incredible experience! We did two tours with 5 Star Marine (Krabi and Japanese Bond + Phi Phi) and both were amazing. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, recommended great restaurants and make sure you have a great experience. The boats are clean, modern, fast, and stable. The captains knew the area and the water conditions. I cannot recommend five star more highly.

This company gives a fabulous tour. I was part of a private group of 4 on a day trip through the Krabi Islands. We made 5 stops as part of our tour. Our guide took care of all our needs along with the crew. Great insights into the culture and geography of the various islands we visited. Drinks and the tastiest fruit snacks were provided. Truly a 5 star establishment

What a great day! Sexy Billy was our guide alonf with Capt. Woody and first mate Coconut. Our day was specifically planned on not being in crowds or over-touristy stuff (I.e. James Bond island, kayaking the caves, etc) and Sexy Billy did not disappoint. We toured some lovely islands and floated in the beautiful water. We were blown away by our delicious lunch (pic attached) where much of our meal was caught right in front of us. The crew was funny and knowledgeable. We were served a lovely fruit tray after lunch as well. We highly recommend!

Top tier service from beginning to end. I was last minute booking a boat to tour some nearby islands found this company and the revies match up to the service. Send a whatsapp message at 9pm at night and they were super responsive, answered all questions and I was booked within ten minutes. Picked us (hubby, myself and 2 kids) from our hotel, we were greeted with light snacks before boarding. The crew onboard was amazing - even let my 6 year old pick some of the music. During the entire day I felt well taken care of, our guide was very helpful and it was smooth sailing even thru a rain shower. They even took pics of us throughout the day and shared them all with us via dropbox. I highly recommend if going private tour to use 5 Star Marine. I recommend private so you can own your day and dictate when and how long you stay vs big group tours.

We had a great trip with the 5 star marine team. We were a family of 7 travelling with 2 young kids and my elderly father, the team were wonderful at ensuring that everyone was looked after well. They really take the time to make sure everyone is happy and enjoying themselves. The Krabi islands were beautiful and a great experience for all of us. Our lunch stop was delicious and ending at the caves was a great highlight. Being able to have a private boat tour was great for our family as there was flexibility on how long we wanted to stay at each location. Would highly recommend!

Just got back from an incredible private tour of Krabi in Thailand! 🌴 The staff was exceptional, providing fantastic service from start to finish. Communication to book the tour was seamless and efficient. We opted for the 6:30 am tour and it was perfect—beat the crowds and had the stunning sights all to ourselves. They even took amazing photos of us and shared a link so we could keep the memories! The pick-up and drop-off from our hotel made the experience so smooth. It was one of the best options we experienced. We were transiting from Krabi to Phuket and this trip included a tour cum transit, where we did island hoping, snorkeling, swimming, jumping from the boat etc......and was a day well spent. The restaurant, the crew took us served tasty and delicious Thai cuisine. It's just hard luck that we couldn't swim on the beach due too jelly fish. Baapi one of the crew member took us for snorkeling with complete safety, Jun our main host made us laugh, planned our trip and was proactive, where he provided clear instructions to the next upcoming plan, Mi was a safe captain, rocked us on the speed boat with style and Anwar helped us around with a lovely smile. Excellent hospitality.

We had a fantastic day on the boat exploring hidden beaches and lagoons, the team in the office were very helpful and accommodated all our needs and our crew on the boat (thank you to Beer our guide) were definitely 5 stars!! We would absolutely recommend and re-book - pick up from our hotel and drop off included - it was a fantastic day!

people in patong were great. only thing is the beech is VERY crowded and in some places the streets can be quite dirty.your best to walk right of the beech (as your looking at the sea)for about 10 minutes and you will find some little beeches with sand and some rocks that are lovely. not much shade though .there's a few restaurants you can escape to for a while. highly recommend the (atleast)a day trip to phi phi Island...stunning...try to find the hippie house bar in pattong..great vibe here and lovely staff. Google travelling gez.

The best boat touring company in Phuket Once again 5 star Marine have outdone themselves. Where would I begin? I must begin by saying a few words about our crew, Nook, Abdulla and Amine, they really went out of their way to make sure our trip was one for the ages. The boat itself was super clean and comfortable. The itinerary and choice of islands was exquisite and Nook made sure our clothing was watched while we swam. Every time we got back to the boat there was a plate of fruits waiting for us in addition to the ice cold water and sodas. Shaun the owner made sure everything worked like clockwork If you can only make one trip in Phuket, I highly recommend 5 Star Marine We can’t wait for our next trip to Phuket

We loved the tour, the team suggested and showed us beautiful spots! And the restaurant was amazing!! Our guide, Dream and the crew were so attentive and carefull! The sea was a little bumpy but nothing to be afraid of, made the ride more fun. The boat was very comfortable and immaculate. Overall, the whole trip was nothing short of 5 stars.🥰😍🤩

We had a blast on our Krabi Islands private tour. We saw seven different islands and had an amazing time thanks to our tour guide and boat crew. We climbed a viewpoint for beautiful photos and snorkeled with wildlife. We relaxed on beaches and had an incredible meal too. We wouldn’t hesitate to take another tour with 5 Star Marine.

We had a great trip hosted by Kong and Dew! We went to islands that we were mostly alone and just were able to relax. Dew took amazing photos of our family (over 100!) and it made the trip even better to have beautiful memories. Would book with them again.

Five star marine lives up to the reviews. We booked a private book trip for the day and it was amazing. Their boats are well maintained and very comfortable. There was a crew of 3. Driver, one handling the anchors and Alex our guide. We were treated like royalty. When we came to an island, the driver backed in to the beach and we stepped off the boat in about a foot of water! They also helped us get off and on. Alex was amazing. Super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We requested a tour away from the crowds and Alex took us to islands which had less tourists. He also brought his canoe with him and he took us through caves and into amazing lagoons. If you book with them ask for Alex! We were so impressed we booked a second trip while we were still on our first boat trip. Shaun back at the office fit us in a couple of days later. On the second trip we went to Phi Phi Islands, and other islands in the area. This day was spent snorkelling in amazing clear waters. Best snorkeling we ever had. Again we had Alex as our guide and he accompanied us on the different snorkeling spots. On both trips we were served fresh fruit, soft drinks and water. The whole team was amazing on both trips.

We undertook a private Krabi islands boat tour on the 8th April for 5 of us (adults / young adults) and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best days we've had in Phuket in the last 20 years. Our guide for the day was Phi and he was assisted by Captain Mack, Ron and Nan. All of the guys were very professional, super friendly and really helpful. The itinerary for the day was up to us really and when we approached a busy beach the guys were happy to move on elsewhere. Great snorkeling, Captain Mack was great at pointing things out in the water. The traditional Thai restaurant (Baan Rim Nam) on Koh Yao Yai was excellent and well priced. The booking process was easy and again, very professional. I couls go on and on about how could this trip was.....Why haven't you booked with these guys yet.....

We took a private full day boat trip around the Krabi islands with Charlie and his amazing team during our honeymoon. Everything was organised perfectly, the spots incredible and a bit more off the beaten track than the classic Phi Phi or Bond island. Amazing opportunities for snorkelling, lunch around Railay Beach and then had to most magical stop at the Hong island lagoon in the late afternoon. Softdrinks and water were included for free and they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine + custom fruit platter. We can highly recommend booking a tour with Charlie and his crew.

Once again Shaun & his team were simply the best! Our excursion this year took us to Hong Island & the surrounding areas with a recommended lunch stop which was delicious. Our Captain Billy was not only knowledgeable but his character brought so much more to our day. We were 4 families made up of 7 adults & 7 children ages ranging from 8 to 15. Every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our time on board, our faces hurt by the end of the day from smiling so much. 5 Star Marine know where to go & when to avoid the natural busy places. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, we loved it last year, they excelled again this year. We cannot sing their praises high enough. Thank you for continuing to make memories that we will treasure always.

Thank you 5 Star Marine, we wanted a simple but enjoyable day out on the sea - we arrived frazzled early in the morning and left relaxed and happy. We wanted a very private day away from the hordes and the crew - Kong, Gin and Grim kindly obliged us. They took us to a secret lagoon where no one else was and we swam in warm emerald water. The day was unforgettable, we relied on the crews vast knowledge and were happy to be led by them, but also we could move on when we wanted to. Lunch was out of this world and probably the best Thai food we have ever eaten, it was superb. Thank you again to the great team at 5 Star Marine. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for a personalised and private day trip.

Honestly, the whole trip was first class from the moment we were picked up from the hotel to our return in the evening. There was no waiting to get on out boat, we were whisked away after a short briefing and a discussion about were we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. Our crew Sun and Brownie, led by Kong the guide were so attentive and professional. They really went the extra mile to make the day special. Because is was a private tour we could tweak the itinerary and we covered such a lot from, lagoon swimming to snorkelling and canoeing. The boat was of a very high standard and immaculate. We covered Phang Nga bay, including James Bond island and Krabi. It sincerely felt like a 5 star service and great value for money, I can highly recommend the company. We had some wonderful experiences and the scenery was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic day and well worth booking this personalised experience when visiting Phuket. Couple of minor niggles one being out of control of the company the other expertly resolved by a very experienced crew. The above in no way impacted our tour but wanted to mention as it was so well resolved through communication and a good crew. So much better than a shuttle or ferry option! Along the way an amazing stop at Hong island and the best lunch of our stay in Thailand. Highly recommend!

We had a great time exploring Krabi with Ronnie and his crew we travelled with family friends and everyone had a fantastic time and lunch was delicious. 5 Star Marina were so easy to deal with and the entire day was well organised and everything we were wanting.

One of the best days of our lives - 5 Star Marine made it perfect from start to finish. Me and my partner wanted to get from Phuket to Krabi via some of the islands, not so touristy and with some snorkelling. They recommended a route that fit perfectly. From the first communication, it was an excellent experience. Our host for the day couldn’t have been better. He was knowledgable, kind, super friendly and knew when to leave us to it. The speedboat was very cool and smooth through the waves. We saw monkeys, had an amazing time snorkelling in a coral reef, saw the cast of Finding Nemo, climbed to a 360-degree viewpoint, plus lots of swimming and relaxing. Lunch was excellent - the best food we had on our trip to the south of Thailand and in a beautiful spot. Good for vegetarians too. They even dropped us right at our next hotel from the boat and called ahead so the staff were ready for us. 10/10

We had an amazing day with Sunny and crew aboard the private boat tour. Booked this for the two of us only and thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to visit the various islands and beaches at our own pace. Chose the earlier pickup so could get to the various sites before the crowds. The views were amazing and the beaches were out of this world. They took such good care to ensure we got to enjoy the different locations fully. Also finished the day with a great authentic Thai meal at a family owned restaurant on one of the islands - one of our best meals in Thailand! We would highly recommend this tour and Sunny and his crew!

Our needs were provided for throughout our trip with attention and care. Also, they seem responsible and professional. We had a great time with the crew. Our private speed boat trip to Krabi was an amazing and super enjoyable experience. The boat crew did an excellent job taking care of us. The guide Kuhn Phi was friendly and very accommodating and was good at suggesting many different islands and (almost) private coves to swim and enjoy. The 5 Star Marine boat was brand new, clean, and very fast with 2x250HP motors, and the driver was excellent and very skilled, especially when it came to backing into shallow beaches. I had never been to the beaches of Krabi, Railay beach, but Hong island is by far my favorite place, a very idyllic island that you could easily spend the whole day at, and going there alone was worth the trip. The private tour was discounted and well worth the money, and I look forward to my next trip with 5 Star Marine.

This was our third trip with 5 Star. While the snorkeling wasn't as good as on previous trips (different itinerary), the team at 5 Star Marine were excellent, as always. The boats are always perfectly clean, they know the best spots for snorkeling and beautiful views. We had lunch at a very tasty restaurant where the wait was a bit too long, but otherwise everything was wonderful. Our guide, Phi, went out of his way to return some items we left on the boat, which we really appreciated.

We used 5 star marine during during our December trip to Phuket. We were a big group traveling with small kids, 1 of which was afraid of boats. I msged Shaun maybe 10 times with all sorts of questions and he took the time to answer every question in detail. He was honest and didn’t beat around the bush which gave us the confidence to take the kids on a full day outing. Staff were all professional and polite. We brought our own snorkels fearing the ones on the boat would be old and dirty but they looked almost new. They were amazing with the kids and even took pictures and sent it to us so quickly! We were so happy that on our trip to Krabi this week we didn’t look else where. Shaun came himself this time and they picked us up from our hotel (Rayavadee). They were on time ofcourse and catered a private tour for us and our kids. They were flexible with timing and always beyond professional. Thank you 5 star marine for an amazing experience.
