This trip was awesome, everything was so well organised. Our guide Nikom is very experienced and knowledgeable. They run very small groups during low season, we felt like we had a private tour. Highly recommended!

Itinerary
We will first pick you up at you hotel and drive you to today's site, this is an 1,5-2 hour long drive. Our first stop for this day is at the famous Monkey Cave at Suwan Kuha Temple. You can find a large number of connection caves within the cave, where Tam Yai is the biggest one, it is as big as 40 meters long and 20 meters wide! Really impressive view! Inside this cave it’s also a massive 15 meter long reclining Buddha image coloured in gold. Explore the cave, the temple and watch the wild monkeys before heading to the next stop!
Then, jump on the long-tail boat and explore the magical mangrove forest of Ao Phang Nga National Park. Stop at Pan Yee Island which is a local muslim fishing village, where about 1600 people permanently live. Pan yee island is mostly made up of huge vertical limestone cliffs, and all houses and huts are built on stilts over the surrounding shallow sea! Here you will also enjoy a tasty lunch. (National park fee is not included in the price. The fee is 300 THB per adult or 200 THB per child, paid in cash on the spot.
Next up we will take you to the activity spot that you all have been waiting for, James Bond Island, the island that became famous from the James Bond movie. You will be dropped off at Khao Phing Kan Island, where you can watch the famous James Bond limestone rock, standing tall in the waters! Explore the islands and take some photos at the iconic limestone formations that rise dramatically from the waters!
Last but not least, it’s time for sea canoeing (our expert staff will canoe for you to make sure you are safe, due of difficult paddling site)! Soak in the beauty that Phang Nga province has to offer while you’re canoeing around at Talu Island. When the day is coming to its end and you’ll watch beautiful views on the way back to the pier. We will transfer you back to your hotel around 18.00-18.20! Our program may be modified depending on the ocean tide levels and weather conditions.

Great tour and Nikom was an awesome guide. Groups are small which allows you to ask more questions and have a more immersive and accomodative experience.
This trip[ was just amazing, The guide his name was Nikom was really informative and funny. The whole day felt like fun trip with small group of people who shared the enjoyment of the moment. I would definitely go again.
The guide was very good and showed us around explaining all the important bits in good spitit
Our family had the most incredible day visiting James Bond Island in Thailand, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we set off into the stunning Phang Nga Bay, we knew this was going to be a special experience. The dramatic limestone cliffs rising out of the emerald-green water looked like something straight out of a movie — which makes sense, as the island became world-famous after appearing in The Man with the Golden Gun. The entire excursion was perfectly organized and very family-friendly. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The boat was comfortable and safe, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the scenery. What truly made the day exceptional were the guides. They were professional, knowledgeable, and always in a great mood. Their positive energy was contagious! They made sure everyone felt included, safe, and well taken care of at all times. Whether helping the kids in and out of the boat, sharing interesting facts about the area, or taking family photos for us, they went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. The canoeing through hidden lagoons and caves was a highlight for all of us. It felt like stepping into a secret world. Our children were completely fascinated, and as parents, we appreciated how attentive and safety-focused the team was throughout the adventure. Overall, this was a fantastic family outing that we would recommend without hesitation. James Bond Island is breathtaking, but what truly made the trip unforgettable was the professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm of the guides. It was a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and quality family time — a day we will cherish for years to come.
A great day out to some iconic locations. Everything was well organised and great value for money.
A great trip to do. Nikom looked after everyone well. I thought that James Bond Island would be really over rated and over crowded but it wasn’t.
This was a great activity, monkey temple was the amazing and worth it. James bond island was great. The food was great. Nikon our guide was great.
This was an amazing experience! Took us to so many experiences on one trip. Nikom, our guide, was knowledgeable, kind and very entertaining! Loved it all!
We both throughly enjoyed our day, we specifically chose this trip / tour as it suited our exact requirements. There is others but we didn’t want time to sun bath, swim in the sea or go snorkelling which others offered. The canoeing part was the highlight for us.
Fifty years after the film, they are still using 'The man with the golden gun' to promote this trip but hey, who doesn't like a little film nostalgia. Had the trip been just out to the island and back it would have been a bit of a disappointment. Anyone doing this excursion should make sure you get the canoo ride, floating dinner and sightseeing package included. The James bond island will be packed with other tourists so expect a bit of a wait to get the famous pictures in.
Great day out on this tour, our guide Nikon was great from start to finish. Early start and late finish with the transport to and from the start location but worth it for the experience. Varied tour with canoe tour, long boat and monkeys! Great buffet lunch and water provided throughout the day. Thank you!
Great trip all together, a lot to see and buffet lunch with various options included. I traveled solo and enjoyed everything, specially the canoeing scene was beautiful.
What a wonderful day! From pickup right to the end, each moment was scenic, engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. I want to highlight the passion and knowledge of Nicom, our wonderfully personable guide, and more broadly all the staff involved. Together with the well-selected, beautiful varieties of locations and good buffet, the people truly enriched the experience. A huge thank you to the team and we’d highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring some of Thailand’s gorgeous islands!
What a beautiful experience! It was a perfect day. From visiting the temple and interacting with the monkeys 🐒 , visiting a village in the middle of the sea for lunch, going on an AMAZING canoe ride through caves and mangroves, to visiting James Bond Island. It was an EPIC experience. Our tour guide Nikom was excellent and knowledeable. I did have a little hiccup and almost lost my phone on James Bond Island …not noticing until we were on the boat to leave. Nikom was accomodating and helped my husband find it…luckily security on the island had it. Phew! Can you imagine!? Thank you again for an amazing experience ❤️❤️
Absolutely loved the tour. Tuk Tuk was so friendly, informative and kind. Highlight was the canoeing in the caves. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Very good experience and places, our boat just have 12 persons perfect for us, the James Bond Island is so small and beautiful we have amazing pictures from there, just so crowded. The floating island is so nice and the restaurant there have a lot of different types of food and nice views and cute restaurant, the kayak place is so amazing and someone paddling for you and explains all the information about the caves and rock formations, I just wish I could have spent more time there, because is so beautiful and calm place.
Phang Nga Bay is a famous Thai location for sea canoeing, where tours take you through stunning limestone cliffs to explore hidden caves, mangrove forests, and lagoons. Activities include navigating through caves at Panak Island or Hong Island, visiting the iconic James Bond Island, relaxing on beaches, and even experiencing natural bioluminescence in the water at night. Most tours include round-trip transfers from Phuket, lunch, and use of canoes or kayaks, with options available by big boat or speedboat.
Pick up and transfers were on time with a lovely driver . The day was Well organised and led by Tuk Tuk . He was knowledgeable and happy to chat about the places we visited .Trip is great value compared to others . I would highly recommend and book with this company again . A brilliant day out and thoroughly enjoyable.
We done the James bond Island day tour. Was such fun, Amazing views and sites throughout the day.We went on a hot day and I was worried it would be too much but it was perfect. Nikon our guide took good care of the group we were well feed an authentic Thai meal at the end and refreshing Thai ice tea after our kayak ride. The guide on the kayak took amazing photos for us and done his best with English, very accommodating.
Amazing experience! Went on this James Bond Island tour today and would highly recommend. The day is not so long that it takes up your entire day but at the same time it's eventful and enjoyable. Out tour guide was Nikom who provided a great service and had a good sense of humour. We went into the Monkey Cave, canoe boat and the main James Bond Island along with some stop offs in-between. The lunch was great and included many vegetarian / vegan options. If you're considering this package, just book it as you will enjoy.
The guide Tuk Tuk was extremely kind, gave information about everything, very gentle and always willing to take the best photos for all of us with a big smile in his face every time. The best tour guide we could have had.
Visited 2 days ago and it was truly amazing!! Firstly the Tour guide Nikon was lovely, knowledgeable, helpful, polite and great fun. Great communication from the moment I booked this trip on booking.com. The bus arrived early to pick me up and then made a few more stops to pick up others. We were given bottled water and were fully informed about the day ahead. After picking up all of the group we headed off and stopped on the way for refreshments (not included)and using the bathroom. We then headed to the Monkey cave and temple. We were supplied with a sarong (if required) to enter the temple and warned not to feed the monkeys. It was a fabulous day full of excitement. This was a challenge for me and my friend being in our 60's but we really didn't need to worry as the whole group was super friendly. Enjoyed the longboat trip to the floating village. Nikon explained everything to us clearly and made the experience more fun. We enjoyed a great buffet lunch and had a little free time to browse the few stalls selling stuff. We headed back to the longboat and headed to another large anchored boat where we disembarked and then were transferred to our awaiting canoe. I am terrified of the water, especially if I can't see what's in there(due to a childhood trauma) and although no one knew about it, I was made to feel totally at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the experience going in and around the caves and rock formations. The only thing was, there was a small hole in the bottom of the canoe at the front, where a small amount of water was coming in, I tried to tell the guy who was paddling but he didn't understand us at all. But despite this the canoe didn't sink lol!! After this we boarded the longboat again for a 20 minute journey to James Bond Island. Unfortunately this very small island is ruined by tourists and the fact that it has a lot of stalls set up selling the same stuff, with pushy sellers and very overpriced goods!! Such a shame. Lovely place to go for photos with a view point for those extra special photos. A Shop where you can get refreshments and also male & female toilets. I had about an hour here and it was definitely an experience! I would thoroughly recommend this tour and Nikom. When I return next year I will put this trip on my list to revisit with my family!! Thoroughly enjoyable 😁
Great trip, our tour guide Nijkon was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the history of the various locations. Had a keen sense of humor ,spoke many languages.
Excellent tour, we were picked up in modern mini buses, Nikom our tour guide was excellent, spoke very good English and was very clear with instructions The cave canoeing was the best bit of the tour
We had an amazing day from start to finish. Nikom our tour guide was 5 star! Provided loads of information and was great to chat to and ask questions. Picked up in an air conditioned van with other lovely tourists from all over the world. They provided drinking water and sarongs for the monkey temple if needed. We then travelled on a long boat to the islands. The long boat operator seemed very experienced and at all times we felt safe. We glided through the calm waters of Phang Nga Bay, it was beautiful. Lunch was also provided which included a buffet of Thai and some Indian food. It was delicious. 10 out of 10, highly recommend this trip.
We were 4 adults who went on the James Bond Island Tour on 02 March 2025 Two of us booked with Expedia and the other 2 booked directly with Thrilling Thai Tours and them 5100 THB on the day of the tour by cash On the day of the tour the boat broke down and instead of getting another boat to tug us to the nearest wharf they decided to bring another long tail boat and requested the passengers to jump over from one boat to the next which was a very dangerous and strenuous activity Because one of us found it difficult to jump from one boat to the next boat they left us in the broken down boat and the other boat boat went away with the other passengers There was no regard for health and safety by the Tour Operator We were left stranded on the wharf and had to wait for another boat As a result we were late for lunch which was part of the tour We complained to Expedia and was refunded 59% of what we paid them We complained to Thrilling Thai Tours about the booking we made with them and requested a refund of the 5100 THB we paid them After a number of exchanges of message they reluctantly agreed to refund 50 % of what we paid them As I did not receive the refund promised I contacted Mr Choo of Thrilling Thai Tour who kept saying the refund I received from Expedia was the refund of 50% of the 5100 THB which I paid to them Both Expedia and Get Your Guide clearly stated that they did not refund any of the 5100 THB I paid Thrilling Thai Tours I have exchanged over a hundred messages with Mr Choo and sent him copies of messages I received from Expedia and Get Your Guide saying they did not refund any of the 5100 THB I paid Mr Choo has still not refunded the money he promised to do I would stay clear of this company which has no regard for health and safety and are very dishonest in dealing with their customers Stay away from them
If you’re near Phuket or north it’s not too bad if you’re in the south it’s quite some drive. Got there and got right into the long boat and headed out to the island. I think about a 40 minute drive through the mangroves out there very cool scenery. Once we got out to a meeting point near the island we jumped in a kayak with a guy who paddled you around and under a lot of caves From there we had lunch at basically a sand bar covered with umbrellas and restaurants. Its a pretty cool place though. highly recommend.
The tour was excellently organized and the guide Nikom did a great job! I enjoyed the trip and I would recommend it to everyone! It includes different activities, so you get to see many things, hear about the local history and enjoy great views! You can do both solo or with friends/couple, worth it!
We had a great time visiting the James Bond island along with the other equally interesting places that we visited. Would definetly recommend to anyone to take this priceworthy trip along with the funny and knowledgeable guide Nikom!
Thank you so much for the excellent trip and wonderful tour. We had a great time and felt very positive. Highly recommend it. Special thanks to our guide, Nikon, if I remember the name correctly.
It was an amazing day! Our tour guide Nikom was very helpful, told many interesting facts and was a cool guy to have around. The whole tour is very conveniently laid out, you don't have to worry about anything! Just relax and chill! Canoeing was amazing! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience. Well organised. Great guide. Good value for money. Travel to destination took some time
Definitely an experience everyone visiting Phuket area should do, Monkey Island 1st, then onto floating village for lunch and shopping, then onto James Bond Island, then a 30 min canoeing experience that was superb. Truly breathtaking scenery all over the place, definitely recommend it.
Great trip for a really good price .. Enjoyed the day. Mickey our guide was good. Trip was well organised. Pick up and drop off from hotel was good too . Would recommend
Do not go on the James Bond Phang Na Bay, Monkey Cave tour unless you want to spend 12 hours in traffic! They lied and said 2 hours each way when it was 3 to get to Monkey Cave and then at the end 4 hours to get back to hotels at Kata Beach because traffic is worse than NYC! We will never come back to Phuket. It is a dump with horrible traffic. They also never took us to the beach for a swim which was supposed to be included. We didnt have lunch til 2 30pm from 7am start of trip. The long tail boats have awful motors that are polluting the bay and make loud noise. They should outlaw these motors...
Thrilling Thai adventures We went on the James Bond trip, we were collected from our hotel at 7am and arrived to our first destination just after 10 and were provided with life jackets and got onto a colourful boat and were taken across to our first activity which was sea kayaking. Our guide took us around and through coves and caves at Takua Thung, it was beautiful. After this we were back on our colourful boat and went along to Phang Nga, aka James Bond Island. 🏝️ James Bond island is lovely, small and picturesque. The beach is lovely and the water is clear. Perfect for travel photos! The market stalls here and more expensive and sells all things you can get on the mainland cheaper. After an hour and a bit we were back again on our colourful boat and went to Panyee island (as featured on lost in Thailand with Sue Perkins. The lunch provided had plenty of selection and tasted good, after eating we went to explore the area and of course we got lost in the maze of the markets. It was truly amazing to visit this little village on stilts. Next we went onto our final destination Wat Suwan Kuha the cave temple. We had just over an hour to explore the temple and photo the monkeys outside. There is a small market which sells food to feed the monkeys but there is a sign saying don’t feed the monkeys 🙈 we respected the no feeding sign but were able to get close enough to photo. Inside the temple, there is a monk pretending to read a book but actually is on his phone, there are many areas to explore in the temple but it does involve climbing quite a few steps. This tour doesn’t involve any cruel elephant rides and considers customer safety etc so was the perfect trip for us. Panyee island (as featured on lost in Thailand with Sue Perkins. Participated the tour on 14th,Oct 2024 Tour included a pickup and drop-off directly from our private villas (Kata Noi). Emplyeaas were friendly and helpfulnthroughoutvthe day. Especially Tour guide Nikom did amazing job. The dayvwas long. Pickup from hotel 7am and the drive from Kata Noi (including other assanger pickup took 2 hours, we were one of the furthest accomodated pair joining the tour). During trip free water was offered by the Tour stuff. Once we got to the first stop (Wat Suwat Kuha Temple) all went smooth and was well organised. Had enough time to see the tourist attractions in each location. Tour included also a lunch on a village build on water. Was very exotic place to have a lunch. All in all the trip provider awesome value for money. The only negative side was the long 2,5h drive back to hotel. But this is not a problem if you are joining the Tour bit closer to the attractions. Our door to door took 11,5 hours.
Super friendly tour guide, Nikom and driver Phun. Lovely conversation and very welcoming, also the canoes were very skillfully handled.
Super funny, entertaining and informative tour guide. Great tour even if the weather isn't sunny. The highlight of the tour is the canoeing, where a boat man rows you around caves and mangroves' forests. Very special is also the visit at the island/floating city where a delicious buffet lunch is served
This was a very well organised day trip. Our tour guide Ali, was very accommodating and ensured we got to see everything on the itinerary. I travelled solo, and my tour group was small meaning we didn’t have to spend a long time waiting for others or being in a cramped boat or van.
We had an amazing relaxing day with a great guide Mr.Nikom, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Safe, comfortable ride by a great driver, long boat ride was super beautiful and confortable, safe and enjoyable, visit to the fishing village was fun, and big buffet lunch in fishing village, EVERYTHING was super delicious‼️village has a school, multicultural football fields on water‼️super cool and also a mosque. highlight of the trip was super fun canoe ride, my boat captain also turned out to be my hero who retrieved my iPhone when I dropped it in water just as I was getting off the canoe, lucky for low tide and super professional staff, they saved/retrieved my phone also literally my life. I’m forever grateful, for a beautiful relaxing(except dropped phone part) memorable day‼️👍🏻🙏🏻👏🏻
My friend and I have booked the James Bond Island Tour. It was a perfect day! At first, we visited the Monkey Cave which includes a Buddha temple. After that we had nice lunch in a gypsi village and took a boat trip through the beautiful nature and caves. And finally we saw the famous James Bond Island, had time to swim in the beautiful water and taking pictures. Our tour guides were awesome! Super nice, kind and helpful. They provided for water, life vests and for what we needed in the temple. I can highly recommend this trip to everyone! Nice greets, Zuki
Long but super complete Trip. Guide was friendly and explained along the way the boat was comfortable the mini van too. I loved that includes time for a swim and to take beautiful fotos! The food was excellent.
This was a really great day which started with a long boat ride through the mangroves and out to James Bond Island. Our other stops were just as great and the whole day was well organised and Happy as our tour guy was brilliant. The highlight of this trip was the Reclining Buddha, very special. The one downfall for us was the long road trip from Patong Bay to Phanga Nga
Great tour! It was an immersive and beautiful experience that allowed me to discover places not reachable in other ways. I appreciated the kayak tour so much with the local man who led the kayak and made it a pleasant time. The transfer with the minivan was comfortable, the lunch was very good and the long-tail boat tour is an experience that should not be missed in Thailand!
Amazing trip, Suwan Kuha Temple is beautiful, also some monkeys. Delicious buffet at Koh panyee island, u can enjoy the view and have time for pictures while canoeing, because someone paddles for you Everything well organized Very friendly guide with perfect English
Fantastico view, cruise and overall ! I extremely recommend for all ages and doesn´t a matter if you are travelling alone or in couple, you really enjoy this trip
Wouldn’t say it was amazing wouldn’t say it was terrible either. The activities were very fun and spent a decent amount of time at each! Although I just don’t think the amount of time spent on transport getting to and from your hotel and in between the activities was really worth it!! Took us 2 1/2 hours to get home
Really good day overall, brilliant tour guide speaking very good English, and very good safe driver.
