Coral Island Private Boat Tour

We had a lovely time on our half-day trip to Coral Island! I also used Marine 5 Star last year, so it was nice to book with them again. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to our guide, Sun, who was so kind and patient. He helped us while snorkeling and even recommended a local seafood spot for lunch, which was a great tip! A big thank you as well to the team behind the scenes who coordinated the trip and handled all the logistics. Everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated how well organised everything was. Overall, another great experience with Marine 5 Star! Thanks to Sun and the whole team for making our day so enjoyable. Would happily recommend them.

Ricky, our tour guide, you are a superstar! Our family includes a 70+ year old granny, and we were naturally a bit anxious about how she would manage the boat transfers and the beach terrain. You went above and beyond to make sure she was safe, comfortable, and completely included in the fun. Your patience, warmth, and attentive care gave our family complete peace of mind and allowed Granny to enjoy the island to the fullest. Seeing her smile and feel so well looked after meant the world to us. ​A big thank you also to our two boat drivers! The boat ride was smooth, safe, and exhilarating. Highly recommended private boat experience in Phuket! We visited Coral Island and had an early pickup at 6:30am — and trust me, it’s absolutely worth going early to avoid the crowds. We had an amazing experience with 5 Star Marine Phuket from start to finish. The entire booking and coordination process was smooth, and the team was very responsive and helpful in answering our questions before the trip. A special mention to the crew members Chris, Hassan, and Kiblat (apologies if I’ve misspelled any names). On the day of the tour, they were professional, friendly, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the journey. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. We really appreciated how flexible the itinerary was, allowing us to enjoy the islands at our own pace without feeling rushed. The crew also helped us capture beautiful photos and ensured we were safe and comfortable at all times. They were wonderful with the kids as well, even playing with them during the trip. During the fishing activity, both my daughter and I unfortunately experienced a bit of seasickness, but Chris took great care of us and helped us through it, which we truly appreciated. The team was also very considerate of our dietary needs and arranged for halal seafood at a kelong for our lunch, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing private boat experience. We would definitely recommend 5 Star Marine Phuket to anyone visiting Phuket, especially families looking for a more private and personalised island-hopping experience. They truly deserve a tip for the excellent service and care provided. My kids already want to come back to Phuket and hope to have this same experience again with the same crew.

5 star Marine lived up to their company name. 5 star all round. They were very responsive to requests and messages. Accommodated last minute changes. The staff were friendly and took part in the fun during the day. The boat and snorkelling equipment is kept in fantastic condition. Don't bother booking with big charter companies. We booked a private Coral Island tour as a family of four, with two small children. From the driver who collected us at our hotel to Noon & her team on the boat, the day was flawless start to finish. The crew were patient & flexible & really gave us great attention all day. They had great suggestions of things to do & made the experience very special, not rushing us at any stop. Although not cheap, it felt like great value. I would have no hesitation in recommending 5 Star Marine or booking another trip with them.

We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with 5 star marine. Our family had a fabulous day on the speedboat with 3 crew members who were all professional and ensured we were safe and looked after. We went snorkelling in a secluded spot and visited coral island and another beach for sunset drinks. Had the option to go to another island but we were more than happy with the day. Surprised my hubby when we got back with a lovely birthday cake. He couldnt have had a more amazing day,

Our experience with 5 Star Marine was exceptional from the moment we started the inquiry with them, all the way till we completed the trip and even follow-up after that. The team behind was giving us periodic updates on the weather and what to expect on the D-day. They asked us about our preferences for refreshments and had plenty of them ready on the private boat when we were aboard. The private boat itself was very spacious and well-maintained. The crew were very accommodating and gave us plenty of time to explore on the islands. The Coral Island and the Racha islands that we went to were breath-taking and the crew stopped at perfect spots for snorkeling and swimming. The crew had enough snorkeling gears for the big party of 15 of us. We had an unfortunate incident when one of our friends had stepped on a sea-urchin. The crew (headed by Beer) quickly swung into action by providing first-aid and then taking the person to the hospital when we disembarked. The support that the 5 Star Marine team provided on this was immeasurable. A big thanks for that. The service and the experience that we had with 5 Star Marine was the best and I really cannot recommend it enough, whether you are a couple, a family or a group of friends. I would definitely do another tour with them the next time we are in Phuket.

We had a beautiful experience with five star marine...Beer was our guide who was very attentive and helpful.We went Racha and coral islands which was very private and breathtakingly beautiful...We would love to book them again to have a similar experience.

Just wanted to say a thank you to 5 star marine for our lovely family day out to Coral Island (11 of us including the youngest aged 2 and the eldest aged 74). They were great from the point of getting information and booking. They had a cancellation policy in case the weather was bad on the day we could rearrange or cancel for a full refund. They do not change per person but by boat which was very reasonable. We hired it privately for a day for a family of 11. The transfers to and from our hotel was included and was seamless from the point of picking us up. On arriving at the marina they had a lovely office which had pastries, tea, coffee, sickness tablets and little bits for the children to enjoy all complimentary. The boat was very clean and the equipment was also excellent and well looked after. The team that took us got the day were attentive. Thanks to Sandy and the team, we had a fantastic afternoon snorkelling and playing on the beach at Coral island. They were great with the children and the elderly with us and helped them to enjoy a snorkel too. Sandy was very helpful in getting all out things on and off the boat and finding us a spot to relax on the beach. On our way back we had a lovely fruit platter to enjoy. I would definitely recommend 5 star marine. They really looked after us and are great value for money.

I’m in Phuket with 3 young kids (10,9,4) and wanted to get some advice on the safest places to introduce snorkeling to the family. Within 2 minutes I had several options, clear pricing and straight forward no-no sense clarity. On the day, the team organised direct point A-B pickup and drop off, was greeted by a great team that understood the challenges of managing a young family and everyone made sure we all had the best time. If it’s peace of mind and a lot of happy faces, I’d highly recommend this team. 5-stars for 5 Star Marine.

We recently did a private charter with 5star, for 3 adults and 4 teenage kids. It was all arranged with very short notice but Shaun and the team were highly responsive and helpful in their communication. The trip was great, with a large degree of flexibility offered. Our guide, Ms Faii was a hoot and really great. Our captain Mas was also excellent, especially as the swells were quite large and the sea conditions quite unsettled. I highly recommend 5Star for their professionalism and the wide range of trips and vessels available.

Our Coral Island private boat tour will remain one of our top memories on our trip to Thailand. The 5 Star crew was amazing. Our guide, Ya Ya, was the best - easy to get along with, fun and kept us informed about each of our stops and the best things to do there. She went above and beyond helping us with our lunch order at the amazing floating restaurant Khru Vit/ Kru Wit. The food was phenomenal. Every time we got on the boat after a swim, there was fresh fruit for us. We loved snorkeling at a secret spot and seeing purple star fish, puffers, moorish idol, parrotfish, trumpetfish and lion fish. Banana beach was beautiful and we saw the most amazing hornbill in the trees. Pulling back into the marina, we saw two families of macaques monkeys. We definitely recommend this trip with 5 Star Marine!

Had the best experience on our trip to Coral island. It was the highlight of my trip. The staff are amazing and even took us to a floating restaurant on the way back for the best local food. Will definitely be booking again on my next trip to Thailand.

We've done a private boat trip to Coral Island, Koh He and Banana Beach and it was perfect! The boat is immaculated and they had everything organised to perfection! We went with Mr Bia (Mr Beer) , Joey and Gobe, these guys are fantastic, drove safely, knowledgeable not even mentioning the nice chats we spend the whole day and they made us feel like family. I can't recommend them enough. It is worth every penny and I cannot await to meet them again and go many more trips around the precious Thailand waters again. Well done 5 Stars Marine, for being just excellent!

We had a fantastic day with our guide. Her took a lot of photos during the day, so we had some great memories. We went snorkeling two different places, had lunch at coral Island and even had time for a short fishing break. We love the freedom with a private boat for just our family. This is our second time with 5 star marine, and we wouldnt hesitate to book with them again.

We had a great experience with our excellent tour guide Bier (apologies if I am spelling that wrong). The tour was customized to meet our needs, with an 8-year old and 5-year old. Smooth pick up from hotel, plenty of snacks and drinks at the marina and on the boat, and an awesome day of snorkeling and playing at the beach. Would highly recommend. Only watch out is that the boat ride from marina to coral island was bumpier than I expected - kids ended up enjoying it, but just something to be aware of.

We did a private tour with our family of 13 and 5 Star Marine were incredible from start to finish. We’ve been lucky enough to do so many boat tours around the world and this was hands down the best service and professionalism we’ve experienced. We did the Coral Island tour with a few great additional stops tailored to our needs. The crew were great and the boat was super comfortable. All in all this was a highlight of our time in Thailand.

We had an amazing day out with Dew and his crew and a family of 13. Prior to the scheduled private tour we were struck by illness and Shaun and the team at 5 star were ultra flexible and understanding. They were also very honest and informed us prior that conditions weren’t optimal and that we may want to consider rescheduling (which we were forced to do anyway due to illness). By New Year’s Day we were ready to go and conditions were perfect. Dew led the team and sat us down before leaving to ensure he tailored the journey to our liking and he executed it all to a tee. The boat was immaculate and the tour was great value for money. A memory for life for a very special family reunion. Thanks team - we look forward to the next trip.

This was our 4th time to Phuket and all I can say is I wish I knew about 5 Star sooner! My family which consists of myself, husband, a 5 year old and a 3 year old (who usually gets motion sickness) had THE BEST time. They made sure everything was perfect and checked up on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time...which we did. Loved it loved it loved it. Thank you 5 Star team. Amazing experience with the private boat trip day to coral Island. We went with 3 kids (8,7 and 4 yo) and we all loved and snorkeled all day long. Coral island was a little crowded at the beginning, since we arrived around noon, but we still managed to get some chairs and enjoy the snorkel and beach. They were very flexible and accommodated to our needs. Definitely recommend 5 marine Star private tour!

Brilliant trip carefully catered for by the team at 5star marine. We enjoyed it so much we took 2tours with them. Private boat enabled us to tailor the trip how we wanted. Nicky and the team were brilliant, when Snorkeling they provided additional support given we had 5kids on the trip with us Some not great swimmers. Great communication from the outset. These guys are the team you should take your boat trips with when in Thailand....

It was a great pleasure to visit the Islands with 5 star marine. Really, since the first moment you can feel they are experienced and also providing a full/high standard service (pick-up, reception with food and drinks, explaining the tour…) The boat is complete, clean, they provide you with all the material you want to use during the trip. Boat was beautiful - so clean and obviously maintained with much attention to detail. From the beginning of the trip, communication with the 5 Star Marine team was easy and thorough. Day of the tour, we had a great trip - 3rd time we've used their service. The cold fruit when you get back on the boat was the perfect touch. 10/10 recommend

Very good service, especially from tour guide Jessica & good facilities on board too. Jessica was able to recommend a snorkelling spot to perfectly fit our requirements as we were travelling in family with elderly and teens. my dad who is 62 years old is not good in swimming, but one of the guide along the trip guided him throughout the whole snorkelling session and brought him to see many nice spots. a lot of thoughts are put into details by the team - they prepared ice cold drinks for us and a lot of fresh fruits for us. every prepare diving fins incase anyone of us would like to use. Jessica & Shaun also took a lot of our photos during the trip and emailed us right the next day. 😍 they also accommodated our needs to adjust the schedule and snorkelling locations as one of my family member is not feeling well. Truly a 5 Star service team, just like the company name! Well done! i couldn’t ask for more, i’m so impressed with the passion that Jessica and team is showing ❤️

The 5 Star Marine team managed an impressive, seamless experience for our boat excursion to coral islands from the very beginning. The booking process was easy, the team were eager to help, and questions were always promptly answered. They made it very convenient for us by starting the trip from a pier close to our hotel, arranging transport with the hotel on our behalf; this shows foresight and service mind, thinking ahead for their customers. The tour guide, Khun Dream, was great. He was attentive, helpful and came to my rescue when I got stung by jellyfish. We had a wonderful day and loved every minute. Amazing tour arranged at short notice. Guide spoke great English, safety was excellent including life jackets and insurance. Stopped at coral island banana beach for initial snorkelling with guide off the beach to let kids check they were comfortable. Nice lunch there and great showers / bathrooms. Next stop was off the boat. Children loved it. About 10m deep and great deal of fish easy to spot in clear water. The coral does seem to be suffering everywhere. Good selection of ice cold drinks and lovely fresh fruit platter in afternoon. Staff all friendly and helpful and encouraged kids to jump off boat and to keep going in to snorkel - 3 crew plus guide. At our second stop we were lucky to see dolphins up close Trip from 10.30-16.15. Not cheap but very very good value. 100% recommend.

We had a great trip. Family of nine with three young children <6. Whole service was great, Nook and her team looked after us well, lunch at the seafood restaurant was awesome, and the photos Nook took were a lovely bonus. Boat is clean and kept dry. Wow! we booked a private tour for a group of 8. I can’t say enough amazing things about 5 Star Marine and their crew. The communication before our trip from Shaun was excellent and group knew what to expect prior to our arrival. Pick up from our hotel to the dock was on time and a very smooth transition. Dream was our guide and he and his crew did everything to make our experience very memorable. We even had time to stop at a floating seafood restaurant that was absolutely amazing. If you are in Phuket and looking for an experience of a life time then book with 5 Star Marine and their crew, you won’t regret it.

Our party of 7 absolutely loved this tour. We had booked Coral island for half a day, and the team gave us a bonus 2 extra stops, both far away from tourists and crowds. We snorkelled around other islands where we could see no-one else! To finish off the day, they took us to this amazing local floating restaurant where we had dinner watching the sun set. Best Thai food ever, at a place we would have never found on our own. Can't recommend them enough. And for sure will do more trips with them.

We were recommended 5star marine by a friend. They did not disappoint! Shaun was amazing from the beginning, patiently answering and helping us curate the best first snorkelling experience for my children. We did a mix of deep sea snorkelling (on Mai ton island - more fish, coral island - deeper ocean but water murkier). Banana beach was more exclusive but the activities (like parasailing, banana boat and kayak) more expensive with one restaurant option, long beach had more tourists but cheaper activities (nearly half the price) and more food options. Both had amazing crystal clear water. Our guide Nicky was amazing and allowed us to curate the tour to how the kids wanted. Words from my 6yr old - “l have been wanting to snorkel for 2years now and had the best time! Uncle Nicky was sooo good.. I am so happy he could teach us what to do”. We will be back to do more challenging islands with you soon. Thank you Shaun, Nicky, the boat crew and team! Ps : As soon as we landed, many companies approached us and it can get confusing. However, highly recommend Shaun and team as the pricing was competitive and service impeccable. Only trick is ensure you stay close to their boat pier so land transfer isn’t as long.

We had a great time with 5 Star Marine last weekend. We had young children and old grandparents with us and they were all taken care of nicely by the team. We all had a fun time and enjoyed snorkeling and spending time at the beach. They are very flexible regarding the itinerary and time. We are already planning our next trip with 5 Star Marine. :-)

We had a fantastic day with 5 Star Marine on our private boat tour to Coral Island. Our tour guide and the guys on the boat really looked after us and made our trip really special. The snorkelling at Coral Island was amazing and my kids loved it too. Everyone was professional and everything from booking to the finish of the tour was smooth and problem free. I loved the little welcome breakfast and the afternoon tea at the end too…a lovely little touch 😊 I will definitely be reccomeding 5 Star Marine to all my friends and family.

Professional operators, we had a great day, the team was very accommodating and looked after us really well, we felt Safe and the barbecue in the evening was the icing to end a great day.

The trip was a breeze (pun intended) for us. From the booking to the end of the trip, everything was seamlessly smooth. They answered all our queries in a fast and friendly manner. We were on Lucus 9 (boat name), and had an awesome guide in Mr Sunny (he really lives up that name), and my kids were safely navigated through their first snorkelling experience thanks to "Mr Yellow" (the other guide who's an awesome swimmer). We saw dolphins and even whales. Fed monkeys safely from a boat. So much fun, it's worth the price! Highly recommended for young families.
