This was an amazing experience. I was not sure what to expect but they certainly delivered. Everything was on time. The variety of food was vast and catered for everyone. You could not go anywhere without seeing a display of lights (including the bathroom). The parade was great and colourful. The show itself was spectacular, the music, costumes, floats (huge) and the detail was incredible. You did not know where to look it almost felt like you were on a boat going along the river. This is a must see show for both adults and kids. Definitely worth the money.

Amazing for families or for a date night.
Beautiful park. Everyone, wether adult or chilf has to see this amazing park
Well this attraction did not disappoint, the lights, parade and carnival itself were over the top and AMAZING! But… it was the Carnival River Show that was the highlight. I still can’t put into words just how beautiful it was! Go to this show - you will not be disappointed and will talk about it for years to come. I will definitely be back!
The show itself was absolutely magical and beautiful. Everything was so detailed, with incredible art, creativity and attention to detail. The entire place was beautifully designed, the light show was fantastic, and even the children's bathrooms were magical! The staff were dressed wonderfully, and their enthusiasm and willingness to help was lovely. However, there were several things that really disappointed us. The directions to the dining area were very poor and confusing. The food choices were also quite limited for international visitors, especially for vegetarians. There was some non-vegetarian food, pasta and a dessert, but ice cream had to be paid for separately. Only soft drinks were included with refills, which was disappointing, especially as children naturally love ice cream and toppings. We ended up paying £13 for three ice creams in cones, which we felt was very expensive for Thailand. The children's games were another major disappointment. The games were extremely difficult, and it felt almost impossible for children to win. For example, you had three attempts with five rings, and if you missed, that was it. I hardly saw any children winning. For a family-friendly attraction, I feel the games should be designed so that children have a genuine chance of winning a small prize and creating a happy memory. With tickets costing around 300 Baht each, the additional games felt more like a way to make extra money rather than an enjoyable experience for children The balloon drop at the end was also disappointing. The balloons were so small, and many children left without getting one. The children were clearly disappointed. You have to remember that children come to places like this to make memories and take something special home with them. Even a small toy, gift or prize can mean so much to a child. I really feel the attraction should make more effort to create memorable experiences for children and give them something to take away. If children leave happy, excited and with a little prize or gift, they will go home and tell their friends about it, encouraging more families to visit. Overall, the show itself was fantastic, magical and truly beautiful definitely a must-see. However, considering the high ticket prices and the overall experience, we felt that what you spend compared with what you receive was not really worth the money. The attraction is beautiful and has so much potential, but I hope they take this feedback on board and make the experience more generous and enjoyable for children in the future.
Nice family friendly experience reminded me of Disney
Wow. We were remarkably entertained and blown away. What an insane experience. The production was next level- from the lights, design, sound and overall show and floats. We loved it and are so happy we went!! Perfect for our 3 little girls and us!
It’s a very beautiful and magical place. The food was amazing with a lot of options. Both the show and the lights were spectacular!
The park was a fun experience. The games were definitely for kids, but adults could play them also. The parade, show and festival of lights were very nice. If you aren't interested in the all you can eat buffet there is a sit down restaurant option, or eat before and get there when the parade starts and stay for the show
The park was really fun, colourful and great and the show was really cool aswell, but our transfer said to us before we arrived that we should wait him in 22.30 and if by 22.40 we will not be there he will leave. We waited there 22.15-23.00 but he just did not come, we called and messaged many times but he did not answer.
No doubts kids will enjoy the bright and loud parade of big dolls- elephants, crocodiles, etc. and hundreds of balloons dropped over spectators at the end of the show. A way too bad taste, in our opinion. Adults might admire the perfect organization, logistics. Super professional. A great choice and quality of food offered in dinner- buffet. Enormous canteen to feed visitors.
There are a lot of steps up and down and a very circuitous route through the park each time they let you out of the buffet dinner or the show so you spend on the carnival attractions in addition to your dinner and show.
Excellent, all the staff was super nice. The kids love it! .. the main show was amazing. We will arrange another visit soon.
The show was beautifully done, the lights and colors were amazing. Buffet was a hit or miss. The deserts were, not how to describe, but almost tasteless. Like you know you’re eating little cakes but they had absolutely to taste to them. Over all I would do it again but would eat before hand.
Amazing show and so much to see and do. Unfortunately it was raining so we missed out on seeing a lot including the bit after the show. Not to be missed if you are here.
Carnival Magic was something you have to see - there are no words to describe how good it was. However need more time before dinner for carnival as felt rushed. Also would arrange my own transfers as we had 2hrs cut from our time due to transfers and delays with driver
On time pick up and great drop off The show was 10/10 The buffet 7/10 it was so much it was confusing and overwhelming. The staff was very nice
Certainly entertaining and somewhat bewildering. Worth a go for the experience. Although we could not quite figure out the ‘why’..
I had an unforgettable night at Carnival Magic in Phuket! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. The lights, colors, and grand decorations are absolutely magical, it’s like Disneyland met a Thai carnival and had a glow-up! The parade show was the true highlight, jaw-dropping floats, beautiful costumes, and music that gives you goosebumps. It was well-organized, energetic, and perfect for all ages. I genuinely couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. The entire place is incredibly clean, the staff are kind and helpful, and there are tons of photo spots (hello Instagram content 😍📸). Whether you’re with family, friends, or a partner, Carnival Magic is definitely worth the visit. Pro tip: arrive early to enjoy all the decorations and grab a good seat before the show starts. Trust me, you won’t regret it! Highly recommended if you’re in Phuket, this place is pure joy! 🌈🎭🎆
Worth every cent Such a beautiful experience, lots of pinch me moments that’s for sure. Definitely get the buffet dinner for whole experience. Only negative was that it’s a long late night for young children
This was a fantastic evening and worth every penny. The food was varied with a choice for everyone. I would disagree with some of the previous comments saying it was full of children and not for adults. There was children there but the adults way out numbered the kids there. The show was fantastic.
This experience was amazing! Beautiful parade and show and delicious food! Our driver did arrive late but we had plenty of time to enjoy the carnival!
It Was a awsome show enjoyed it and the food everything ect would let people about it staff was great
Not for adults without children. We thought this excursion would be more like Carnivale in Rio. It was anything but...all kiddy rides and games and the buffet in a huge room filled with families...we left after less than a half hour.
What an amazing experience! Carnival Magic is an extravagant, lavish spectacle that's a cross between an iconic carnival, a festival of lights, a theme park, a parade with the most incredible floats, and Disney Land. The dinner was great, the parade in the "paradium" was beyond spectacular, and the night show in the Kingdom of Lights was just over the top! Everything was done in the most elaborate detail - every surface was decorated and highly embellished in every color imaginable. The pictures don't really do it justice. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the Asian version of a top-notch theme park! One caution that should go without saying based on the above description: people (and especially children) who are easily over-stimulated would probably have a hard time coping, since the sensory overload is massive with sights, sounds and even smells.
Place looks fabulous, Food was okay, show was okay. People were very friendly and the service was good.
We had a very pleasant experience at Carnival Magic. The staff were friendly and willing to help. The buffet was delicious and the show was unbelievably good.
Great show and experience. Bring extra money to play the games. The parade had us spellbound. The lift show was amazing. Lots of walking but worth every step.
What an adventure this has been. The colours and the lights are amazing and need to be seen in person to experience. The buffet dinner was amazing the food was all freshly prepared and full of flavour. The shows was brilliant and fun for everyone. The carnival magic show was out of this world I haven't seen anything as nicely presented in detail and colour. If your staying in Phuket you can't miss this well worth it. 10/10 5 stars
Incredible experience and a must see. Food was average but everything else was great. Great for kids.
Incredible experience. Food was OK bet everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended. Many photo opportunities.
Definitely not worth the money, would be ok for small kids however for the price compared to other theme parks is way too high for what it is. Not a fan.
Carnival magic is over the top and fantastic, the food was pretty good and everything was bright and colourful and fun for both adults and children. The show itself was beautiful and spectacular. My only issue was the transport. The driver was surly and arrived on time but told us to wait and then sat scrolling his phone for fifteen minutes before leaving. The pick up was not early enough to count for any traffic. We understood there would be some traffic but we were sat in the minibus for 2.5 hours! This was extreme. It wasn't the drivers fault but as traffic is always bad at this time in this area pick up should have been earlier. We missed nearly 2 hours of park time and it meant our evening felt very rushed and for the cost this was very disappointing.
Carnival Magic is a theme park (NO rollercoasters!) that can best be described as "Disney on Steroids". It is a cross between Disney World/Disney Land; Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; Barbie World; The Wizard of Oz; The Enchanted Forest; real-life Japanese Anime (and any other mad, crazy thing you can possibly think of) ALL ROLLED INTO ONE! The Carnival Magic stage show was truly spectacular, and the buffet dinner was excellent. The whole park was just magical and it really has to be seen to be believed; and when darkness fell, the millions of LED lights were simply spectacular on a monumental scale. 100% worth every single penny!
Amazing trip would highly recommend it! Everything was absolutely incredible. But We had issues with transfers going, was told to be at our lobby for 5.20. We waited 30 mins and after calling the number given to us if driver was late which rang out several times so had to jump a taxi last minute. Which made us later arriving to carnival!
All the detail that went into the parade was amazing. The dinner was good with lots of attention to detail. Well organized event.
When you picture a fun-filled night here you imagine a bright, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and clear directions. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this popular destination was anything but that. If I could sum it up in one word: madness. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that things were off. Our bus driver simply dropped us off without any guidance or information. There were no signs to point us in the right direction or let us know what to expect. We were left to navigate a sea of crowds with no clear idea of where to go or what to do next. As we made our way into the venue, the lack of organization became even more apparent. The place was overcrowded, and it felt like everyone was scrambling to figure out where they should be. For a location that’s meant to be a happy, family-friendly destination, the mood was surprisingly tense. It was hard to ignore the staff, who seemed overwhelmed and far from the enthusiastic, cheerful faces one would expect at such an establishment. The overall vibe was frustrating. Instead of feeling like I had entered a fun, stress-free environment, it felt like a disjointed, chaotic experience. Staff members weren’t smiling, there was no sense of direction, and everyone seemed to be operating in survival mode rather than creating the joyful atmosphere promised by the brochures and advertisements. The lack of communication from the staff only added to the confusion. We didn’t know what to do, where to go, or even what the rules were for different areas of the park. Every step felt like we were navigating through a maze of confusion, with no one offering any help or guidance. In a place that’s supposed to bring joy, it was hard to shake the sense of frustration that hung in the air. By the end of the day, it was clear that the chaos had overshadowed any potential fun. While I tried to stay optimistic and enjoy the day, the lack of preparation and the overwhelming crowds made it difficult. If you’re planning to visit, I’d suggest going in with low expectations and being prepared for the possibility of confusion and frustration. It’s disappointing when an experience doesn’t live up to the hype, but sometimes it’s helpful to share these moments so others can be better prepared.
Carnival of magic is heavily marketed as a "Disney" experience but unfortunately lacks any soul. Instead, the experience feels like a massive revenue generating exercise and I think you would be hard pressed to find any return customers. The main show is late - purely to force people to spend time and money within the venue. Pretty much 90% of activities need more money to be spent. The late show makes it very unfriendly for families with young children. The main show was somewhat disappointing. The "River parade" is a procession of large floats with loud music blasting. The buffet was very average, but if you didn't get it, u would be bored out of your brains waiting for the 830pm show. Alcohol costs extra. There are many 3rd party ticket sellers with prices i saw up to 30% lower than official site. You still need to line up though to have these tickets processed an "on the day" tickets with seating numbers for the show. Oh, no mobile phones allowed for main show. Which means another line to deposit and collect. The kingdom of lights is only open after the river parade. There are some good pictures to be had if you have the patience to wait.
What an incredible experience! From the minute we stepped into carnival Magic we were transported into another world. I couldn’t recommend it more!
Great value for money. Buffet was great. Amazing to and from hotel transport- drivers were lovely. The parade was amazing! Lights were so cool. I had a lovely time even solo. I feel it is great for anyone even solo travellers. It is a must visit!
This place is bonkers! But a really great experience. The walk around the initial part of the carnival magic is amazing to see. Especially when it’s darker and the lights stand out. The parade show is also really great to see. Interactive and colourful! The light gardens after are also amazing with lots of picture opportunities. Only Downside is that we found was Dinner/food was average, lots of options but nothing that stood out when we were there.
Omg loved the show and the parade. Everywhere I looked there was something fascinating to look at, would throughly recommend visiting here
The show is amazing, you get sensory overload. I totally recommend the show. I do not however recommend the buffet dinner. I am now suffering through food poisoning and it turns out it is a known occurrence.
From the moment you walk in the door this place wows you! It’s a fantasy fun world where even the bathroom is a magical experience you won’t be disappointed
An amazing spectacle. The only reason I haven’t given it 5/5 would be the quality of the buffet. Wasn’t bad in anyway but wasn’t what I would have expected. The displays are phenomenal though. Highly recommend
Don’t book through this provider, we were sick and they wouldn’t change our booking dates. Total rip off and lost our money
The park is impressive, but we were disappointed that you had to pay for the carnival games on top of the cost of the ticket. The show was amazing, although our seats were super far away. The best part was the lights display after dark. The buffet wasn’t anything special, we probably would have skipped it if we could do it over again. The transport was okay, we were picked up 20 minutes late and getting back to the hotel was a little confusing. The signage for transfer buses could be better signposted
We were picked up on time , collected on time . Dinner buffet had something for everyone . If you wanted drinks or ice cream there was a surcharge . Carnival games were chargeable but you don’t have to do these . Show , parade and kingdom of lights are reflected in the price . Not a cheap night out but to do it once I would def recommend it . We went for my adult daughter’s birthday .
This was a great experience, and all the food and show were great. I would do it again as it was a great evening . I wish I could have taken pictures of the main show as it was out of this world and the size was amazing .
Beautiful place to spend some time . Buffet was good if a bit rushed for parade which we missed as eating. Show was very colourful but a bit long as was all the same thing. Stalls were expensive if you had children and should be included in price. Nice night out .
