Simba were the only tour guides picking up ocean litter at resting points, I think this says it all.

Itinerary
Arrive at our office for a briefing while you enjoy some breakfast snacks, tea and coffee to keep you going until breakfast on the beach.
Phukets only 5 star marina. Marvel at the beautiful yachts as we embark on our adventure into the Andaman sea.
Koh Phanak Koh Phanak is often our first stop for some intriguing cave exploration. Like Swiss cheese, Phanak is full of hidden caves, lagoons and hongs. We aim to select the very best location depending on the tide and weather on your day. So fire up your torches and step into a prehistoric world! Sightseeing is a strong suit of this tour since you will have the chance to see exclusive sights that not many people have seen in their lives.
Sea Canoeing Hong island is a stunning location for a scenic canoe trip. It is simply the best way to see these geological wonders up close and personal. Let the Thai guide take you into hongs and caves only accessible by canoe. Cruise the waters on the canoes and marvel the real natural beauty that has formed over hundreds of years, creating an amazing spectacle that will remain forever in your memory.
Arguably the most famous spot in the bay, it's been a Mecca for Thai and Western tourists for over four decades, is the James Bond Island tour stop. You’ve come all this way and as Simba generally arrives well before the masses, we make a quick stop to see what all the fuss is about. This limestone marvel is perfect for you to take pictures.
Treasure Island/Secret Hong Swimming Just a few minutes from James Bond island lays a fantastic hidden cave, only accessible by swimming through a narrow passage. Jump off the front of the boat, swim to the beach. It’s the perfect opportunity to cool off before we move across the bay. This stop is subject to tide conditions and an equally beautiful and quiet beach may be selected where sea or tide conditions allow for a better experience.
As described, a truly unique location, still holding fast to a traditional existence in the face of it’s bustling brother, Phuket. Our tour takes a decidedly ‘terra firma’ turn, as we take a short trip across the south of the island to a stunning local Thai restaurant for a delicious Thai lunch.
The afternoon will take us to any number of beautiful beaches depending on tide and weather conditions. This is a chance to swim, relax, enjoy a light afternoon tea and sample the scenery before heading home.

If I was allowed one word to describe the whole experience it would be AMAZING ! From start to finish the whole experience was spot on. Team Simba are professional, well organised and fun people, who look after you and make you feel welcome and relaxed. We went on this tour with Harry and his team (sorry can’t remember your names) but you were all so lovely. The taxi driver that picked us up was brilliant too. Harry was so informative during the trip and clear in what was happening along the way. There was lots of delicious food both during the trip and at the lunch stop. Banana bread & coconut sugar sticky rice was so delicious and fruit platters were beautifully presented. Kayaking was lots of laughs and the trip into the Jurassic park cave is something not to be missed. The trip to James Bond Island was so peaceful as we were ahead of the crowds, so lots of lovely photos to be had. Honestly, we had the best time and cannot recommend this company highly enough. In fact when we got back we booked for the Phi Phi island trip. Thanks again everyone we had a fabulous day.
Tom Cruise! was our guide and he was truly awesome. Taking care of our every need. Also note this same company took us to phi phi as well and fed us good there and here. They also accommodated my wife’s dietary restrictions. Perfect and fabulous!! Keep up the good work..
Fantastic day! This small group tour was excellent. Thank you to Noi and the crew for a great experience. Catering was also great. I would definitely recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed.
Wonderful day out. We had to have a very early start (pick up from hotel 5.20am) due to tides. Mangrove Cave visits are subject to tides. Visited Mangrove cave with a bit of time to look around before leaving as tide was coming in fast. Breakfast provided onboard was tasty. Wonderful crew on boat Captain experienced and drove boat safely, deck crew very helpful when getting on and off the boat. Lunch at an island was tasty and plentiful. Swimming at island water nice and warm shade under mangrove trees with mat provided to sit on. Plenty of soft drinks on board boat and fresh fruit for a snack. The guide was wonderful full of information and ensured you were offered soft drinks and water regularly. Excellent day out highly recommend. Small boat tour with max 20, no need to wait for your turn in kayak as small number easily catered for.
Such a great experience, picked up at our hotel greeted by our tour guide when we arrived light snacks, and coffee served very comfortable boat clean. This was an incredible journey, boating through all the little islands, going through a cave and being surrounded by trees and rock formations that are only available at certain times of the day. Kayaking around another small island. A fantastic lunch at another island. A private beach area where we were able to swim and then our final stop another beach where we could have some drinks swim and enjoy beautiful Thailand. Don’t miss this.
What an ABSOLUTE AMAZING time my son and I had! Everyone on board was extremely tentative and very knowledgeable! From the smooth pickup, smooth drop off, to light breakfast, coffee and tea as we arrived to the WHOLE experience was hands down one of the most memorable times we had in Phuket! The breakfast that was provided on boat, lunch buffet on the island to the scenic views, kayaking through the islands, and THE VIEWS, THE VIEWS, THE VIEWS WERE just UNFORGETTABLE!! Highly recommend this tour!! 100000/100000
Was a great experience we had with friendly and helpful staff with helping me get on and off the boat taking us to some amazing islands walking through caves kayaking swimming and a nice lunch on and island so thank you so much for giving us a great day out x
We loved this tour! Our tour guides were so experienced and prioritized our fun and safety. The canoe guide was awesome! I recommend this tour to many! Small group is definitely worth it! The caves were nice, the canoe ride was even better, James Bond was amazing and we got to eat good Thai food and had an elephant option feeding experience if you wanted to.
We booked the “Luxury Small Group Phang Nga Bay and Beyond” tour with Simba Sea Trips and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The early start makes a huge difference. We were ahead of the crowds all day, which meant places that would normally be packed felt calm and almost private. The scenery in Phang Nga Bay is incredible, but what really stood out was how well the whole day was run. Harry and the team were excellent organised, friendly, and clearly experienced. One thing that really stuck with me was Harry taking the time to pick up rubbish whenever he saw it, which says a lot about the kind of operation they run. The kayaking through the caves and lagoons was a standout. It never felt rushed, and the small group size made it a much more relaxed experience. We were also very well fed and watered throughout the day, which just added to the overall comfort and enjoyment. If you’re comparing this to cheaper, bigger group tours, don’t this is a completely different experience. Absolutely worth it.
Had an amazing time! Kayaking and island hopping, private lagoon swimming, and a crazy cool hike to the top of an island (Wear shoes). Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a lot of the islands and get in some caves.
Amazing day. All stops were fantastic. Definitely worth beating the crowds. Lunch excellent. Super speed boat (not luxury). Great guide Harry.
Extremely well organised, great communication regarding pick up time. Harry our guide was the AWESOME
Amazing day out with a great variety of activities and great attention to detail. Simba offered a complete service from pick up to drop off. We enjoyed the activities, delicious food and friendly, informative guides. Highly recommend this trip!
Amazing day with Simba Sea Trips — easily one of the highlights of our trip. The early start is so worth it. We got to the caves and lagoons before the crowds, which made the whole experience feel calm and special. The scenery is unreal, especially kayaking through the caves. Everything was really smooth and well organised, and the small group makes a big difference. Big shoutout to Harry our guide and Wat & Sit on the boat — they made the day! Would definitely recommend
It literally is a well run ship. Our host Noi and the team were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and made us all feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The boat had just 6 people so we could all move around comfortably. The trip was run in a relaxed yet fun manner. Food was also tasty. Thoroughly recommend this company.
Memorable day! The tour is very well organized: fast hotel pick up and drop off, delicious breakfast on boat and lunch in a quiet restaurant on a beach, right number of stops. Our guide Harry was exceptional, his crew as well. He gave us a lot of info about places and animals, talked about interesting facts about the country, took our pictures. Finally the Phang Nga bay is a magical and breathtaking place. Take this tour, it is a must!
From the early morning start, and throughout the whole tour this was so worth every cent. Our guide Harry, was absolutely incredible, amazing English, so informative and seemed to really enjoy his job. Captain Wat and Captain Sit both keep everything running smoothly and made it a safe trip for everyone involved.
This tour was amazing, definitely worth it to have a small group tour leaving early. It meant we got to all the popular sights before the hoards, for a quieter experience and great photos. Harry the guide and the boat crew were fab and really made the trip. Harry even recommended great spots to take photos and took them for us, Lunch was amazing in a restaurant on one of the islands, the only thing we didn’t like was that it was in a location that had unethical elephant practices at. Would highly recommend this tour.
Me and my wife had an amazing time on the tour. The boat was very nice and the crew were very tentative to everyone on board. We got in early to beat the crowds. The guide Harry was great. He was very knowledgeable spoke great English and took many pictures of everyone throughout the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour!
I can across this trip when looking for a trip to James Bond Island and Phang Nga. It was a bit more pricey than other trips I’d seen but the small group appealed to me. It was definitely worth the money as the hospitality was second the none as we were always being offered snacks and drinks by Harry the guide. We also had a lovely meal at one of the islands. We are vegetarians and even though some of the dishes were vegetarian (noodles with tofu, rice, vegetables ) a tofu Thai curry was made especially for us. The 6 am pick up was very early but worth it as we got to the Islands before the masses did. There was hardly anybody else at the caves we stopped first at and we were able to walk into them as the tide was still low. Later when we passed them the tide had risen so they weren’t accessible. The second stop was the caves at Hong Island which we were taking into by sea canoe guided by local very skilled paddlers. Again we were able to access these before the tide rose. Both of these experiences were amazing. Harry offered to take pictures on our phones and also took pictures on his own phone which were sent to us later. Our paddler also took pictures with my phone and pointed out rock formations in the shape of animals. He even gave me a hand made paper rose ring. The next stop was James Bond Island. This was a bit more busier but not overcrowded. There was another stops before and after lunch where we were able to swim and sunbathe. Beach mats and floating aids were provided. We had a decent amount of time at all places. Not too long and not too short. I highly recommend this trip and for us it was the highlight of our holiday to Thailand.
Wonderful day on the boat with our guide Harry and the crew. It was an early wake up and hotel pick up, but so worth it! We saw many of the smaller islands, James Bond Island, walked through the caves, the mangrove forest, a few beaches, kayaking followed by a fantastic homemade Thai lunch on one of the islands. Harry was extremely knowledgeable, told us all about things we were going to see, nature, etc. Breakfast aboard the boat with sticky rice and coconut was quite a treat. Highly recommend this trip to anybody with an extra day in Phuket.
This was my second time to visit this area and Simba’s tour was easily the best!!
Excellent day despite the early start but this meant no queues or big groups we missed all that. We loved the trip Noinoi and his staff were brilliant and the lunch was fabulous too. James Bond Island and beyond so worth it and great value for money
Noi and his crew were wonderful. The experiences that they provided were above expectations. They were clear in their explanations of what we could expect and they were very helpful throughout the entire day. At no time did we feel rushed. Seeing the sites and experiencing the opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the islands was amazing. I would highly recommend the trip to others and if at all possible request to travel with Noi and his crew.
Excellent experience all round, with thoughtful touches such as providing dry bags and beach mats to having what seemed like an endless supply of fruits and snacks for the trip. Unlike other boats where lunch can be a hit and miss (or just packed sandwiches), the trip includes really tasty sit down lunch at a beach during the tour. The guide and crew were really knowledgeable (shoutout to Harry) and took such good care of us and the other passengers. Recommend to all visiting phuket who want a more intimate experience while visiting the islands and not be rushed. Worth every penny.
It may be a struggle to get up so early in the morning when you're on holiday but for this trip it's worth it. You get to the important stops before the masses on the big boats arrive so you have them to yourselves. The tour is very well organised. Communications and pick up were spot on. The visits to the sea cave and the canoeing were the highlights for us and it was good to visit James Bond island at a quiet time. Special mention to Simba's staff Harry, Wat and Ann who went out of their way to make this trip a delight for everyone. Get signed up for this trip.
Fantastic tour, got to all the spots before the crowds. Amazing crew, Harry Jane and Guy, very helpful and friendly. The mangroves, cave and snorkelling were breathtaking, along with the main event of James Bond island. Lovely beach island to relax on and amazing lunch/snacks included. Couldn’t recommend more!
Excellent boat trip. This trip is only available on line and cannot be booked in resort. We specifically booked it because it said there was a maximum of 18 people. Other trips available in resort could only offer 30 people. Whilst it was an early start (6am pick up from Patong), it was worth it. When we arrived at the marina we were given a light snack then off to the boat. Harry was the tour operator and throughout the whole trip he was very informative giving details about the places we were visiting and helping with photos when required. We arrived at our first stop way ahead of the crowds which given the need to walk through some caves in was great. We were able to see things and take photos without lots of people being around. We arrived at a floating boat station where we got onto the sea kayaks. A local guide then rowed us through some more caves pointing out things and taking photos if we needed. We then went to a small beach for a short break. Following this we went to James Bond island. This was busier but still not manic. We then headed off for lunch which was outstanding. Best Thai food we had. To be honest the food on the whole trip was very good. Lots of it and tasty. Last stop was to another beach with very few people on it before heading off back to the marina. All the entrance fees were included in the cost of the trip. To summarise, early start but well worth it if you want to miss the crowds and actually see things. We had a really good group who were all very friendly. Highly recommended.
Me and my husband had a great time on this tour. Harry, Wot and Sid are a great team, very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. All the spots we were taken round Phang Nga bay were fantastic. Leaving earlier in the morning to beat the crowds was definitely worth it! Thank you all!
Such a perfect trip! Easy pick up from Patong and got out to beat the crowds early with is so worth it. Everything went smooth, totally worth the extra cost over some of the cheaper options you find along the street. Multiple stops to get in the water, they take tons of photos for you, and keep you well fed and hydrated. Lunch was amazing at a local spot with traditional Thai food! Incredible experience from the whole team but especially Guide -Harry, captain -Yai and deckhand -Jane. Thank you!
This was one of the best excursions we have ever experienced! The guide, boat captain and crew were informative and helpful. The islands we stopped at were beautiful and stayed just long enough to enjoy. The breakfast on the boat was delicious! The lunch provided was unique and lovely setting. The kayaking people and cave was wonderful too! Can't say enough great things about Simba 9! Also, the pick up and drop off to the Marriott was timely and relaxing! 100 percent recommend this excursion.
We spent the day with Harry, Wat and Ann exploring the caves and kayaking. It was a fantastic experience! Harry was extremely informative and friendly. Taking photos and video of everyone on the trip. He even sent us to them after our day was through. The snacks on board and service was top notch!
Fabulous day out. Everything was seamless from pick-up to drop-off. Super fast boat meant we beat the crowds. Harry our guide was knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us.
Very professional and organised. Transport ran smoothly to & from the trip. From the moment we arrived given a light breakfast which was appreciated. the Boat is a nice size and not overcrowded. Harry and his 2 team mates worked very hard to make our day special and keep us safe, Harry was very informative and you can see how passionate he is. Going early is worth it as Phang Nga wasn't crowded at all. The kayaking part was fun and the guys did a great job showing us around the cliffs. Stopping off at the place for lunch( can't remember the name) was absolutely delicious! one of the best tasting Thai foods we had all holiday. Thankyou for a great day and lasting memories!
A perfect day exploring Phang Nga Bay and beyond. Excellent service: commitments were met, the 15-person boat allowed us to visit the smaller beaches, the departure was early in the morning to avoid the crowds, we were picked up from our hotel, the lunch was delicious, the staff were very attentive, and the reception area at the marina was welcoming.
Fabulous tour, we left early and beat the crowds. Amazing crew and tour leader. Very attentive. Great lunch on restaurant on island. Terrific activities. Stopped at a beautiful little island, walk or swim. Lunch. James Bond Island. Another island to swim or relax. A fabulous kayak trip in and around the tall limestone cliffs, we had a person to paddle for us. A fabulous walk through a cave to a small beach on the other side of can not recommend enough. Had a ball! Jill and Peter
What a great experience to visit Phang Nga Bay. Our guide was Harry, deckhand Jane, and captain Sit. All were awesome. It was our second trip with Jane as the deckhand and he takes such good care of everyone on board! Both Jane and Harry kept the food and drink coming after every stop. Whether it was yummy sticky rice or banana bread, drinks and fresh fruit. Harry was an amazing guide, able to tell about the geology and history of the area and provide some touristy tidbits. He really has control of everything going on and doesn't miss a beat. Also takes amazing pictures. This itinerary is pretty near perfect. Whether it's walking through caves, sea canoeing, resting on small beach, lunch at a quiet island restaurant and finally enjoying some rest. We looked for an itinerary that avoided all the crowds and this definitely did. We never felt we were in a place loaded with tourists. Thank you Harry and team. Truly one of the best experiences.
We had an amazing day with Guide -Harry , Captain - Yai and Deckhand - Ann. They guided us through the day and showed us best experience possible. We were a group of 8 and we all were very pleased with Simba tours. The booking was very smooth. The driver picked us up as expected. There were no delays at all. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.
My partner and I had two excellent trips. Phang Nga Bay was made exceptional by our guide, Harry, who communicated interesting details of the bay’s geology, history, and ecology in fluent English, and helped record our experience with his outstanding photography skills (some of the best photographs of our travels!🙏 - these photos are all by Harry). We are grateful to him and his deckhand, Jane, and captain, Sit. Phi Phi trip was also great, especially snorkelling on the coral reefs. Our guide pointed out fascinating tropical fish and took me into a magical sea cave.
High recommend this. The early wake up call was well worth it. We were the first most to most of the sites and it was beautiful. Liked it more than Phi Phi islands (they were great too but so crowded)
I loved the small speed boat and the staff were excellent, especially Harry the tour leader. The lunch was delicious and they even made special accommodations for my husband’s allergies. My favorite activities were walking through the cave and kayaking. The scenery was gorgeous. Four stars because I do have two suggestions: 1. Put water shoes on the list of what to bring. You need them in the cave. 2. Getting on and off the boat is not safe when they are at the beach or they stop to swim. They need to have a ladder or a ramp. The two small steps they have are not sufficient. The staff tries to help by giving you and hand but in my case, I ended up falling into the water. I wasn’t hurt, but I could have been. Simba tours needs to purchase the proper equipment for their customer’s safety. If you decide to go on this boat trip, I would suggest sitting down to get on and off at the swim sites. I found that to be more safe. Overall a lovely tour. Loved the small group and the special attention and arriving early before the crowds.
A great day at sea, pace well balanced, and beating the crowds thanks to an early start (i.e. earlier than the average, very much worth the 1 less hour of sleep!). Guide Harry was of very high level
We had a great time. The thing about this trip is you leave earlier 7:00 am, and are in a fast boat so you get to most of the sites you visit before the crowds show up. The guide Henry was fabulous sharing history and details of each stop. He was also very friendly and quite funny.
Early start but well worth it to avoid the crowds. The tour was quite extensive, got to see so much of the Phang Nga Bay region. Each stop of the tour was incredible. Harry, Wat, and the team were fantastic, could not ask for better guides. So many snacks and drinks provided, a delicious lunch, and just a small group of people which makes it easier to get to know people and less waiting around for everyone to get on and off the boat. They also had a professional photographer taking photos for us. Highly recommended to anyone.
Brilliant day! Harry, Wat, our awesome driver and Kolin ( photographer) made this tour an absolute success. Recommend to all.
This was the highlight of my trip— swimming in the sea, stopping along beaches, through caves, mangroves and canoeing through the unique islands. Harry, our tour guide and his team made this experience. Perfect balance of guidance/safety info and independent time to explore. He very kindly offered to take photos for us of the most memorable moments. The boat facilities are clean, comfortable and I would definitely recommend the smaller group and earlier start— it was incredibly unique to visit before these popular spots become crowded. Lunch was delicious too! Highly recommend— if I had more time I would have booked more excursions.
This was a fabulous day! We were initially concerned about the really early start (6am pick up from our hotel) but starting the experience at 7am meant you get ahead of the crowds - really important particularly at the Koh Panak cave. Everything was included, breakfast, lunch and transfers to and from our hotel. Lunch was at a very nice restaurant on one of the islands. My wife and I are vegetarian and they catered well. Harry and team couldn’t have done enough - and we were lucky enough to be part of a fun and social group. We swam, kayaked (or at least Abdullah did for us!) and took loads of photos. Really recommend this to see some beautiful sites, pretend to be James Bond (or in my case Scaramanga) and have a fun experience.
This was the highlight of my trip — exploring the caves, mangroves and beaches with Harry and his team. They provided waterproof bags, headlamps and allowed us the perfect balance of guidance/safety and time to independently explore. The speedboat was very clean, comfortable, spacious and lunch at the hotel was delicious. It was well worth it to have an earlier start with a smaller group of people. A truly special day, can’t thank and recommend Harry and his team enough.
We had a fantastic day tour with excellent communication and friendly, professional staff. The trip was well-organised, with a light breakfast, fresh fruit and drinks, and a delicious Thai lunch on a remote island. Highlights included a unique cave tour, relaxing canoeing, photo stops at James Bond Island, refreshing swims, and time on a deserted beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with our small group of eight and highly recommend this company.
