Not explained that we would be expected to sit around and wait whilst others on the same trip went atv riding. Lack of communication regarding pick up. The guide was not worried about us being unhappy either.

Reviews
Good tour with plenty to see and do. A very long trip to the areas that took 10 hours in total. Tour included a snack pack with water. Highly recommended.
I liked that this tour combined different activities instead of focusing on one place. Bamboo rafting was calm and the jungle surroundings were enjoyable. The schedule was fairly full, so expect a long day.
A wonderful day, a beautiful and peaceful raft ride, the staff were kind and friendly
Water rafting was great, driver took far too many risks in the road with passengers onboard, waited for over an hour for other group to catch up
It was a very nice trip. The guide was very helpful. The rafting through the jungle was interesting. We had a very good time It was a long day, but worth it.
We had an amazing day on the bamboo rafting. Yes the drive was long from patong but that wasnt an issue for us at all as it gives you an opportunity to see what's around. The bamboo rafting was so much fun! We even stopped for a nice refreshing dip in the river. The turtle sanctuary was awesome. It made me so happy being here seeing all the turtles that have been rescued and rehabilitated as they are one of my favourite animals. We went to the elephants ans quad bikes as other members of the tour had these booked. We opted out of these but we did buy a basket of bananas to feed the elephants. We also enjoyed a nice drink of chang while waiting for the people on the quads. The monkey temple was beautiful and the monkeys were adorable! We had a lovely thai lunch and were given a nice little snack box with cake, biscuits, juice and water. The tour guide Molly was really friendly and we learnt a lot from her during the day. And a big shout out to the driver as it was a very long day for him too! Overall this was a highly recommended tour that myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed.
The bamboo rafting was such a wonderful and unique experience. The transport there was a little long, crowded and hot, but that is par for the course. Even the monkey feeding was amazing!
Wouldn't recommend this tour with children. We were made sit in bus for 26 mins on side of the road.
This is a long day centred around a bamboo rafting experience, which in itself only lasted about 10 minutes. Travel guide. It would have been more useful if the guide allocated to an English speaking group could speak English. This however didn’t make much difference. We stopped along the way for the guide to pick up some drinks and snacks which was very unexpected and welcome. Each bag came with water, fruit juice, biscuits and cake. First stop was the turtle sanctuary. The visit would have been enhanced if a guide had taken us round to explain the work they are doing, however we were left to wander from pool to pool with no explanation. After what seemed like a never ending drive, came the rafting, which as previously mentioned was only about 10 minutes long but was very relaxing through beautiful scenery Then came lunch which was the biggest let down of the whole trip. The place was not clean and I couldn’t trust the food that was served. We were, however given the opportunity of a free zip line experience which some of the group took. The walk to the waterfall was not really worth the effort and was a bit of a let down. Back on the bus to the money cave temple. I have been here before and where have the monkeys god. Last time there were hundreds, but this time there were no more than 20 and all centred around buying a bag of food to give them. The cave temple though was very nice. Overall a pleasant but long day.
Do not waste your money and time with this tour. The tour says 7hrs but expect a 13 hr day so if you want to have a horrible time book it. The bamboo rafting is in someones back yard, it is not an official business. The turtles is in someones back yard shed so that is what to expect. Oh and the waterfall is none existent. The bus ride you will be on a bus with 20 other ppl who got other activities to do but you cant leave until you watch every person do their activity which is not annotated in trip description. Also was forced to sit in hot sun to watch them beat and kick the elephants.
The bamboo rafting was awesome, so was the turtle conservation centre, the waterfall was a lot smaller than expected, the monkeys were so cute, I just couldn’t enter the temple, I didn’t have my shoulders covered
This trip was very beautiful, especialy bamboo rafting. The monkys was funny. Long distation to the placies.
The actual activities were excellent and was our guide, the driver of our vehicle was appalling I had to repeatedly ask to slow down, he was speeding 130 kph in an 80 twice nearly ran into to rear of other vehicles. Clearly was overriding the speed limiter as plug a USB into vehicle and when at Police check point it was removed and put in his pocket, then when pulling away put it in again. Considering this was a vehicle carrying multiple passengers the behaviour was appalling. The one star rating is because of the driver - the activity was excellent.
The rafting was great alongside seeing the lying Buddha, lunch was poor and the 2 hours to get there was a bit much. Shame because the rafting was amazing.
Excellent tour, really enjoyable and great value for money. Definitely recommend!! Loved the Monkeys
Log rafting was best part lovely tout guide . Spililt by young children on tour who were very loud and not well managed by parents
Didn’t even manage to attend the tour due to unforeseen circumstances that had occured to my friend. The operators were not understanding and didn’t even refund us any amount. This speaks a lot about how they are and not being understanding to customers need, please reconsider booking this tour
I didn’t find this exciting or interesting. The kids were bored. I think this was a waste of money tbh. I would not recommend to anyone.
Wow, amazing day we had. Loved the elephant ride, bamboo rafting and swimming in the lagoon where the waterfall falls (only people there). Thank You, Molly and the driver who went above and beyond making our day memorable.
Our tour guide Lisa picked us up on time and we travelled to another hotel where we had to wait 55 minutes for her to find two other people that were late for collection. When asked how long we need to wait all she told us was not long. We then had to smell their drug habit for the rest of the two hour journey. The drive there should be the reason they say no back or neck problems as the driver didn’t slow down for any road bumps or uneven surfaces. 3 hours in a very uncomfortable mini bus. Lisa can across very rude when asked about how long we needed to wait for the missing guests and her response was this isn’t a private tour. We knew this however didn’t think sitting outside a hotel for 55 minutes was acceptable. The monkey temple we loved. The bamboo seemed unorganised and our family of 5 were split up on different rafts. Also we were asked several times for a tip that we felt we had to tip when getting of the raft. Lunch was nice and then we walked to the water fall. It was nice and some of our party had a swim. Then back to the van for the 2.5 hour drive home. Again bounced around all over the place in the mini bus. Sorry worse trip I’ve booked and wouldn’t recommend it.
Nobody told me that I will have to wait for hours for the rest of the group to do their activities! Fell of the canoe, but still was harassed by the canoe team for a tip!
We really enjoyed the day. Very well organised and everything exactly as described. We even were able to add in an elephant experience on the day.
Trip not as advertised no sea turtle conservation centre and elephant riding involved unethical animal treatment at its best wooden spears with metal tips stabbed into the sensitive parts and one of the mahouts grabbed the elephants penis and wrapped it around himself pretending to be getting attacked! Elephants showed signs of stress. An upsetting experience
Bamboo rafting and ATV were awesome activities. The monkey cave/temple was truly awesome. Our guide was also exceptional.
Riding on the bamboo rafts down a quick flowing river was fun and exciting. Seeing a few different animals and birds added further interest.
Simply unorganised and terrible. First of all, the trip by car from Phuket is extremely long (we are talking about 3-4 hours). Nothing bad to say about turtle conservation centre - you can look at turtles that are different ages, they are displayed in open bathtub-like areas. Then we went to bamboo rafting. Even though the rafting itself was amazing, and we even got to see things like snakes, the waiting time was terrible compared to rafting time (we waited around 20-30 minutes and then we rafted for around 20 minutes. ) Worst part about rafting was getting your clothes completely wet (at least the bottom part) as it caused some inconveniences, so get ready for that since the guide instructs you to leave all your belongings in car and doesn’t inform you to change your clothing to bathing suits or other clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. We also needed to wait around 20mins before traveling to lunch (at least we got a coconut dessert treat during this waiting time). The travel to lunch took around 40 minutes, food itself was quite good. We didn’t want to support unethical elephant trekking so we didn’t buy that activity while ordering the trip, however, elephant bathing was included. Unfortunately, the guide treated us quite rudely and didn’t want to let us go with our group that had bought both trekking and bathing to bathe the elephant and said that we needed to pay 250 bath each if we wanted to go. Literally had to argue that it is included in our tickets. The bathing was ok, but the treatment of elephants is simply disgusting, it was painful to look at the poor exploited things. I realise it is a bigger issue that needs to be adressed differently and probably won’t change for auite a while, but don’t support these sort of places by traveling through the Sawasdee travel company. After that, we needed to wait (again :) )while other members of our group drove the ATMs, the waiting area was extremely loud and our clothes were still completely wet. After waiting for around 30 minutes, we were taken to see monkey cave and the temple. Unfortunately, the temple was closed and the monkeys were sleeping so we saw nothing. At least the scenery was nice. The trip back home was just as long and tiring as the trip in the morning. In conclusion - save your precious time in Thailand and either go to other tours or spend time near the sea. In all the cases, you will spend your time better than we did during this trip. Unless you love sitting in the car. Then you will enjoy it.
I got picked up at 8am and didn't come back till 7pm and all I did was bamboo raft 100m down a river that wasn't that deep in less than 10minutes. If you have the whole day to waste in exchange for 10minutes of "fun" then go ahead and book.
Not sure about reviews that weren't positive. We went two days ago, January 31, 2023. We were picked up on time from our hotel. Our first stop was Monkey Cave. You have to pay 20 baht to go in cave with a temple/reclining buddha. you don't have to go inside. you can walk around and feed the monkeys that are very spoiled. We then went to an area where those that wanted to ride an elephant could do so. We didn't, but we walked aorund and saw elephants up close, didn't have to pay a thing while others were riding. We then went up to a national park where they have river rafting, ATV riding, and the waterfall. The waterfall wasn't much, but it felt good to swim. People went ATV riding. We had lunch and hung out. It was great. Lunch was soup, chicken, some thai dishes, overall really good. From there we went to turtle conservatory, OK, Gentleman there was very passionate about what he was doing and we enjoyed the sime there. Finally, bamboo rafting. Interesting how the owner explained things to us and served us coffee. We spent 30-40 minutes on raft. Our guide allowed us to jump in river. Great time. The worse part of whole trip was ride home. 2 hours. Rough, but no way around it as you are north of Phuket Island.
Such an unreal experience and did a lot more than i thought we’d do. Turtle conservation centre was so good and all staff amazing
I'm very disappointed with the tour. We have booked 2 activities. Very simple ones. Was supposed to be half day tour. But you placed us in a different bus. Without informing us. Having to spened double the time on the trip than we were expecting. No to mantion that I am a vegan, and have chosen two activities that don't mean interaction with animals. And I was forced to attend animal abuse as watching elephants forced to do riding, and turtles drowning in concrete walls. It wasn't at all what was expected.
I have waited for so long for other people to finish activities that was not in my trip program. The company rented one bus with different company tours to cut cost and ended up with us going to other tours locations and wait for hours. Our tour was supposed to finish at 3:30 but finished at 07:30 I request for a refund
Tour operator took us on a different tour than what we signed up for. They told us to sit and wait for the other people to do their tours. We sat for over 3 hours waiting for the other tours to finish. They did not offer jungle treck to water fall. We were charged extra to go to the monkey cave. Safety measures were poor. No life jackets, no safety instructions, I was injured and they didn’t have a first aid kit. We were given drinking water once all day. At lunch, they took us one hour into the hills to a elephant base camp. They did not have enough food. Four people had to share one lunch.
Firstly this trip is not what it makes out to be, there was no jungle treck for 30 minutes they combine this trip with other tours so you end up just waiting for other people to finish the activities they have booked all in all we other got 20 mins at the waterfall, 30 mins on bamboo raft and about 10 mins with monkeys. Better off booking elsewhere!!
The bamboo rafting itself was so great that I give it a 4/5, but the rest of the day was spent wondering around waiting for other people to do stuff If you want to pay extra 500baht for ATV - good for you, you will do that during the day But I went riding ATV the day before on another tour so I just had to wait for everyone The same thing with elephant riding and bathing They don’t have that on this tour included so you either pay 500baht extra or just wait while everyone else is having some good time Basically we finished bamboo rafting at ~12pm But I got to my hotel at 7pm So 7 more hours either spent in the car or waiting But on the other hand THE BAMBOO RAFTING IS AMAZING and it is a must if you are in Thailand My guide was the best, he showed me two snakes and frogs/fish/butterflies whatever He was very invested yet not annoying Super nice I was going solo and there was also 1 family of three and two guy friends The others didn’t see no snakes no nothing, but I got lucky with the guide and shout out to him Thank you They also had us try local Coffee and some local lot fruit which was interesting In overall the first part of the whole tour was so great that I would still recommend it If you didn’t try ATV card and elephant riding and you want to - tis tour will be perfect for you!(just bring 1000baht with you) Also you can buy a photo they take of you on that bamboo thing for 200baht and so far it is the best styled photo out of all the tours I’ve been to
Very small group of 3 people (me, my partner and another girl) which then met a larger group at their base for lunch and afternoon activities. Bamboo rafting was amazing with the option to buy a printed out photo in a frame for 250 THB at the end. (5 stars for the guys that ran that activity). Waterfall was underwhelming and a small one based at the companies activity camp, not anything special or memorable. There was no “jungle trek” as such. Lots of waiting around for other members of the group to do other activities or for other reasons. A girl on our group booked the elephant bathing etc but did not want to do it, the elephant experience was completely unethical, from what we could see- they were whipping the elephants, had people riding on their backs and chains around their ankles. It was really upsetting to see and frustrating for us that we had supported a company that was encouraging this (they asked us a number of times to go ride and ‘bathe’ with them in the river, we absolutely said no). Monkey temple was OK, 20 THB entry fee. The driver was lovely but he did not drive safe at all and it was actually very scary. Not worth the money, would have been quite happy heading back after the bamboo rafting and ending the day on a high.
The bamboo rafting was great. But too many other experiences were packed in. Some like monkey cave were not that interesting. I'd have preferred a more focussed agenda with a decent hike + bamboo rafting. Because of the multiple destinations the whole tour including transfers was 12 hours. Far too long, especially during Covid where we are trying to limit contact with others. Way too long in the bus.
Great day out with many things to do . Loved the monkey temple needed a little longer, turtles were good but best was the rafting
We highly recommend doing this activity, everything was super and special, guide local and super nice, we were only a few peoples, around 5 maybe
This tour was fantastic. The guide and driver were amazing. The rafting was amazing and so very relaxing. Be sure to bring swimming gear as you will get wet on the raft. Our rafting guide stopped to allow us some time to swim in one of the deep areas. The water was cool and felt wonderful. The sea turtle conservation center on the Naval Base was fantastic and our presenter there was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he loved the turtles. Our lunch was delicious and there was so much food. 😊 Nobody left there hungry. Standard Thai food. The only thing I didn't devour was the som tam because it had crab in it and tasted too fishy for my taste. The waterfall stop was great. Be sure to walk all the way to the top of the path. That is the best place to jump into the water and float around to cool off. Very picturesque. The last stop was feeding the monkeys and visiting the temple. The monkey feeding was nice and the kids and adults on the tour seemed to love it. There was some fighting between the monkeys, but that is to be expected when there is food involved. The temple was closed, presumably because we were there late. The only thing I would recommend would be to communicate the duration of free time when it is available. I got back to the bus a couple of times to find everyone waiting. Had I know how long I had it would have made it easier for me to be on time. One note though, there is a lot of traveling involved with the tour. It is not on Phuket, it is in Phang Nga. It's a solid 1¾ hour drive to get to the rafting area. We definitely thought it was worth the cost and time involved though.
Great guide. Awesome driver. Friendly. Everything explained perfectly. Great well organized tour. Very entertaining. Small group with only 8 people. Good lunch.
The very good tour was well organized. It was a very nice day, we would book again at any time. It was a very nice and courteous guide, also told us a lot about Thailand. Amazing trip and highly recommended while visiting Phuket.
The bamboo rafting felt so amazing! The tour guides were really accommodating and it was a full day of fun.
Great guide, very well organized. We had a lot of fun! I recommend this tour to anyone in the region.
It took a lot of photos for us~ The scenery was also quite good, and the food was delicious compared to the food. The drive was a bit too long and it all left Phuket. The bamboo raft will seep through the water and remember to choose the right shoes and socks, but the process is quite beautiful. It is eager to find wild animals for you to see, and to use bamboo boiled water to make tea, and open your eyes! There is no rubbish on the river surface and we feel the splendor of nature.
We would like to thank our guide of the day who was really perfect on all points. We received a perfect briefing at the start and at each stop we were informed about the travel time, the next activity the time to travel and the time available on site. She's really on top! She watched over the group like a lioness and in complete secrecy. The activities were also at the top with weather that allowed us to enjoy without stress each time. Not like last year with another organization that gave us time for nothing for the same activities! Didn't even have time to see the temple. This time it was the right choice! Activities at the top, organization at the top, our guide at the top! Thanks also to our driver who had to drive a lot of miles to allow us to spend this superb day!
Everything went well, it was very good. We will pick you up from the hotel at the exact time. Plan to get muddy, wet from head to toe, bring beach clothes and a change of clothes for the return, bring special shoes for the water and shoes for the return. Plan for 4 hours of nap and return in a car with the air conditioning on full blast🥶. We eat well at midday, we have a snack at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. We don't worry, we follow the very nice guide. It's worth the trip.
6h de route, 15 minutes de bambous, un petit tour d éléphant en supplément, un arrêt tortue, un arrêt singe et un arrêt cascade qui ne valent pas 6h de route.Un repas très mauvais.Mais la guide était sympathique.
Unfortunately, the trip did not really convince us overall. The whole tour was pretty loveless. 80% of the time (about 6 hours) we spent in the minivan and were carted from A to B. Then it was 20 minutes to feed monkeys and (!) Temple tour, 20 minute waterfall visit, 20 minute turtle farm visit etc. Then back in the van and turn around in the area again for 1 hour. That got pretty exhausting over time! Besides, the van was not in good condition. The suspension has seen better times. Every wave of ground gave us a blow in the back. The air conditioning worked, but hardly cooled. And on the driver's dashboard, two warning lights have indicated. One of them indicated a problem with the engine. In the end, however, the driver brought us back to our hotel without incident. The guide explained us next to nothing and was only there to collect the people back and tell us that we have to spend the next hour in the van again. Food was only available at the very end of the tour, i.e. around 2 p.m. Without our own breakfast in the hotel we would have had a problem with our 7-year-old child. Only the bamboo rafting tour was really nice and just as we had imagined. Nice and cozy cruising along the river without any great action.
