Communication was excellent. Guide and driver brilliant. Lunch amazing. All activities fun. Exhausting day. No complaints at all, would recommend
Bamboo rafting was great, a different experience if you want something a bit different. ATV was good, monkey cave/ temple was great
An Unforgettable Adventure: Rafting, ATV, and Jungle Tour! This adventure package was an absolute blast! The rafting was incredible, with fantastic guides skillfully navigating us through exhilarating rapids and breathtaking scenery. The ATV tour took the excitement to a new level, zipping us through challenging terrain for an awesome, muddy exploration. The jungle tour perfectly rounded out the day, offering a blend of natural beauty and informative exploration thanks to our knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend this package for an exhilarating and well-rounded outdoor experience!
Well to say I’m angry is an understatement it says weather permitted but they don’t care we got drenched on the bamboo rafting I knew we might get a wet but but drenched from rain was not ok then to top it off I know have to replace my phone due to getting drenched. No towel offered at the other end when we were dripping. The the atv it started to rain a little again no rain coats offered nothing no care. And the atv are very slow and just going around in circles. Lunch was very little to choose and cold. Then the monkey temple we where not allowed in we had to pay and our guide had left us after lunch so we where on our own. Definitely a very poor experience have requested a full refund but we will see. Definitely stay away from this group very unorganised
We really enjoyed this tour. Our hotel in Patong was quite a long way from the destination so we did have a bit of travel time but there were some great views along the way. We loved the Bamboo rafting. Our guide was really funny and let us both have go at rowing the raft. It was lovely and relaxing but expect to get a bit wet. You definitely need your insect repellent for this tour as you are in the mountains. The bus tour guides were informative and friendly and provided snacks and drinks. There was a bit of waiting time as our shuttle bus had a mix of people who had booked slightly different activities; although you had the option to pay a little extra and add those other activities if you wanted rather than wait. The ATV riding was a little disappointing as we imagined that we would do a short jungle tour on the bike when you basically just rode around the block. It felt like it was more suited to kids who just want the experience of riding a quad bike through a few puddles rather than a different mode of seeing the jungle. The lunch buffet was a bit ordinary and the 'waterfall' was underwhelming. The last stop was the Monkey temple. You could buy food to feed the monkeys which was a bit of fun. The temple was fantastic, well worth seeing. When you first walk in, it seems just like every other cave temple, but then as you move further in and up several staircases, it opens up into this huge amazing cavern. This tour represented good value and we did enjoy the activities. We did spend a lot of time travelling so it became a day trip for us rather than a half day but none the less we felt it was worth doing.
After reading the negative reviews I still booked. People like to complain! Yea it’s a long drive but it’s worth it. My husband and I went with our 3 kids 16, 13 n 11. And we all absolutely loved it, we did phi phi island the bad before and the kids were bored. The bamboo rafting was just amazing! The kids loved the ATV, we also enjoyed seeing the turtles and my youngest loved feeding the monkeys. Our guide Hannah was so lovely and informative. We were given snack bags which was unexpected and great! Some things to note which isn’t mentioned on the listing is you need to be 16+ to ride ATV on your own
It was fun (the bamboo raft part of it) the rest of the stuff you do is pretty boring I don’t really remember what else we even did the atv ride is very slow and in a line pretty much touching the people infront and behind you I’d say find somewhere that’s just bamboo rafting tbh
Didn’t start until 12 ish drove around since 6:30 the first few things were not as they seemed witch made the day very long and boring until the very end the bamboo boat ride was cool but I’d do a different tour for just the boat ride if done again it was alot of wasted time and atv ridding was about 3km fast pretty much touching the other atvs ridding in such a tite line
Impressive tour with great & diversified activities, mainly the bamboo rafting, the ATV & monkey jungle
The trip was wonderful! The guide for our group was Monli and she was very helpful and accommodating. The schedule was very organized and the activities were enjoyable for everyone. I had 2 children with me, aged 7 and 4, and they also were able to take part in all activities. We saw the sea turtle sanctuary, rode atv’s, the monkey temple, and went on the bamboo rafts. I truly can’t say which part was my favorite because it was all so great. I’m very outdoorsy and felt the rafting and atv experience was such fun way to be part of the beauty and nature of Thailand. I highly recommend. Just remember not to touch the monkeys!!
Worst tour... Not worth the money... Basically just an expensive taxi ride. - Spent at least 6 or 7 hours in the van. Only had about 20mins at each activity. - Tour guides don't speak English so you get no information or interaction. - Entry to the Monkey cave and food to feed monkey's isn't included. - Doesn't cater for vegetarian even if you specify it as a dietary requirement. There are so many similar tours available, definitely give this one a miss.
Amazing experience! So good! It was a very long drive but so worth it. It is all super fun and interesting and defo an experience worth doing
We had a good time, but there was a lot of driving involved as we’d come up from Panwa Bay. ATVs were the best, but be aware that you’re in Thailand in regards to safety precautions!! Bamboo rafting was good and the monkey cave temple was cool, as was swimming in the waterfall. Would have been nice if there had been information given at the turtle conservation, but the baby turtles were very cute!
1) The bamboo rafting was excellent and my favourite part of this tour. When we arrived, they ground coffee beans and served fresh coffee in little bamboo cups (which you can keep). The trip on the bamboo raft down the stream was very relaxing and tranquil. If you are sitting in the back of the raft your butt will definitely get wet, and if you are wearing pants then your pant legs will definitely get wet as well. 2) The sea turtle conservation was a nice stop, although not really necessary for this tour. We were left on our own to talk to the staff there and learn about the conservation. 3) We were given lunch at the ATV site. With a quick lesson on how to stop-and-go on our ATVs we were off! The trail is very short and not very far into the jungle. I felt like they had a lot of terrain that they could have used but did not - a bit of a let down in that aspect. After the ATV'ing, they will sell you pictures (you receive them via Airdrop) and a video that they put together which highlights you specifically. 4) Waterfall park: a beautiful park/green space. The highlight is a small waterfall that you can swim in (it's about 5 minutes into the trail). The park itself goes a lot further but you don't have time to really explore this. 5) The cave temple was a nice stop. However there wasn't much time to explore the cave in depth and there's no park attendant there to tell you about the history. And although it wasn't part of the booking we opted for, you CAN book an elephant ride with this tour; however, I wouldn't suggest it. The elephant's are kept by the side of a road and don't seem to be well treated. We saw shackles on their feet, caretakers with sharp, spear-looking sticks, and one elephant in particular looked as though his legs had been slashed at some point. Overall: great tour, they let you sample a variety of activities, but it is a long and tiring day so be prepared for that.
This was a really good tour. The bamboo raft was beautiful, peaceful and interesting. We saw a few snakes up in trees. The coconut pudding thingy after the raft was delicious. The turtle conservation park was really neat. So. Many. Turtles. Trying out ATVs for the first time was terrifying but really fun. My biggest criticism is that we didn't spend nearly enough time at Monkey Cave and that was the BEST PART. It was our last stop and it felt super rushed. I would have skipped the waterfall if it meant getting to spend more time feeding monkeys. Also, if you take this tour, make sure to ask the guide how much time you have at each stop. After the ATVs, there was a bit of a jungle trek but nobody told us how long we had to explore. They just pointed in the direction of the path. We spent about 15 minutes wandering -- it was beautiful l, by the way -- but when we got back, the tour had left us! We caught up with them at the next stop but still.
Poor. Unethical treatment of elephants! Driver late. Rafting-we had to stop half way down while our guide helped someone who had broken their raft twice- delayed the remainder of our ride by 1 hour. Got lunch 7 hours after initial pickup. Went to several other places not in our excursion so others in the group could go do their excursions (not advertised that other excursions were riding with you and you would have to spend your time going other places and waiting for their excursions to begin and end. Minivan got flat tire. Started pouring down rain and taken to go see monkeys. You then had to buy food for them. An 8 hour excursion turned into an almost 13 hour day. Missed our plans we had made that evening due to poor organization of this day. Never did the jungle trek. ATV’s were run down. Disruptive adults acting like wild spoiled brats on ATV’s made guide stop us at least 40 times in a 30 minute drive. Please choose something different than this. The elephants we were taken to see while someone had an excursion to ride one haunts me still. Elephants hobbeled(chains around both front legs enabling them to walk, back legs roped to trees. They could not shelter nor walk around. They appeared agitated. Handlers hit their lower legs with sticks and used hook to “keep them in line”. Awful abuse!!!!
A very long day from Karon. 12 hours all up and about 1.5 hours of activities. We didn’t get to do the jungle trek and I didn’t get the local coffee (and I love coffee). The rafting was good, ATV lots of fun and guides were nice but didn’t quite meet expectations.
The tour guide was great, very polite and accommodating, the vehicle they picked us up in was clean and roomy. The bamboo rafting was my favorite part, they gave us fresh made coffee in bamboo cups from coffee trees right next to the river, and at the end gave us fresh coconuts to stay hydrated, the raft guide didn’t talk to much, let us enjoy the nature and would point out snakes, put out just the right amount of conversation, the atv riding towards the end was a lot of fun, even rode by some elephants. All in all I highly recommend this experience
Guides barely spoke English ( like nothing to be honest ) forgot to mention that we had to bring our passports & I was made to feel like a criminal when the border security stopped us and I had to explain the situation because the guide was obviously too so dumb & played stupid in front of the authorities. We were offered to feed monkeys & pigeons in a parking lot with dog kibbles & dry corn & some mushy bananas that costed 50 bath from a grumpy old lady.no information at the sea turtles and it was a bit run down. The lunch was an embarrassment in it self.we spent more time in the minibus than actually doing things.the surroundings around the waterfall was just littered with garbage.again the guides spoke such crap English my Thai was better! Unorganised to the point that it felt almost like a joke. Overpriced!
Terrible time management. We came for the waterfalls and caves and we never saw it. No guides explanations. They don’t speak English has mentioned. The lady was always chatting on her phone and the driver spoke any single English word. We felt like babies they have to baby story !! We never knew where we were. The ATV lasted 15 min and we had to complain to do a second tour of the same track!!!! We did the rafting, fed monkeys for 15 min, and the ATV. We are really not okay with that and we will go directly to the costumer service for a refund. Never again with TripAdvisor!!!
ATV drive was amazing and indescribable. The views of the river were Magnificent. Bamboo rafting was Unbelievable.
Takes quite a long time to travel but it was a really nice day and nice food for lunch. The team arranged well!! I get to see a lot of things in one day! but I wish we had the chance to hike a little mountain
Very poorly guided. No guide on the turtle conservation center. 30min ATV was 12min. ATV was broken the engine stalled 3 times on 12 minute drive. We drove like old granma going to church. You should tell you will get wet on this trip. Lunch was more like a snack. There were no caves. No rainforest trekking. No food market. False promises. The drive back to hotel took 4 hours. I was at my room at 10PM. 95% sitting in the bus 5% doing something else. I had fun company with me. P.S. You should check the CV joint on the bus. Terrible ride.
The destinations were really good but the time management was very poor.. as we didn’t follow any of the mentioned timings in the post. Moreover.. .we were the first ones to be picked up in the morning (6:30am) and unfortunately we were sent back with someone else at ( 8:00 pm) which is something not acceptable at all knowing that we paid extra 400 baht for the transportation. Not only that but also it was mentioned in the post that two of the guides have a good english but on reality it was a disaster as we ended up using google translate just to know how and where to go which is very disappointing!
This was the worst tour experience. The tour started off with the driver not picking us up on time and by passing our resort 2 times. Then we drove really far to drop some people off. The whole drive there the tour guide did not speak to us or communicate to us what we should be expecting. I had to ask her when and how far are we from the first stop. She wasn’t able to give that information to me. The driver got lost 3x during our trip which placed us 1 hr behind and made us miss entering the the monkey temple. I felt like even though we were in the van for the most part of the trip the tour guide could’ve taught us more about the places and the history behind the sites visited. Sorry I would not recommend this tour.
Excellent day out but with a lot of travel. Waterfall and bamboo rafting was brilliant with options to swim at both. Good lunch put on
You can take a bamboo raft in the mountains and interact with the elephants. You can enjoy a cup of sweet tea in the mountains and go deep into the local day trip.
This excursion is absolutely amazing ! The atv bikes tour is great and we seen wildlife! Bamboo rafting was amazing and beautiful! The food was awesome! I will recommend everyone book this!
Scenery unbelievable guides fantastic everything well done. Organizationally everything was great, great food and had a really great guide. Will definitely use them again
Our tour guide was just great. every single stop was worthwhile. The excursion was really good, the guide excellent and the whole excursion well planned. Only recommendable.
We had a really great day. Our local guide was sensational - great English, super service, very knowledgeable, so friendly and great for a laugh. He went out of his way to make sure we had a perfect trip (as did all the other local guides that we met!). Bamboo rafting and coffee experience are also worthwhile.
The drive is too stressful and long. You spend 60 percent of your time in the car. The driver drove very fast along narrow and busy roads. Not the driver’s fault, but the organiser’s fault, which has squeezed in several activities that are too far apart to work on a single day. The activities themselves are good and the guide too but way too much stressful drive for it to work.
I was never picked up or warned that there was no activity. I hope to be reimbursed soon.
I don't recommend it. Very long journey .. Little time during activities and poorly supervised and managed Avoiding it is not worth it.
That was good. A little water in the rapids but otherwise quite okay. ATV could have been a little more organized. Felt like they didn't really know.
Good idea but bad execution. At the end of the day most of the time you are in a minibus... The Decent Turtles, 20 Minutes That Leaves the Guide are enough being small and with little to see... although having a Guide Comment would be better. Bamboo rafting the best part of the day! And here ends the pleasant part... after a trip, you go to experience with quad / ATV... to forget! Maximum speed allowed 15 km/h, go round in a mud puddle without seeing anything and as soon as you try to make an acceleration, the Guide arrives to call you back! Who doesn't have the round with which, simply waits for the others to finish... Same thing experience with elephants, NOT ETHICAL as they ride... even here, those who do not have the experience wait for others to finish. Another endless trip to lunch ... bare and sad buffet ... and then walk 5 minutes and get to a “waterfall” that the garden fountain is more exciting. Finally, another long trip to get to the monkey temple where there are 20 minutes to visit it... before leaving for the hotel. Basically, AVOID unless you like to drive around.
Very good experience, very relaxing, and we saw snakes in the trees. The staff was very nice. Coffee and tea served on arrival
More than 4 hours of car journeys during the day. No mountain biking, but a beginner's quad ride. Disappointed. On the other hand the bamboo rafting was great, it saves the day a little...
