Honestly one of the best trips I have been on on a holiday! Aida was absolutely hilarious and so kind and lovely. Could not recommend this trip more to anyone coming here. Very very good and would 100% go again!!

Itinerary
Patong Beach is the true heart of Phuket, and what makes it so attractive to many. Patong is big, bold, crowded, bright and loud. And yet millions of people flock here every year like flies on honey. If Bangkok is the Big Mango, then Patong is the Big Durian: you’ll love Patong!
Karon Viewpoint is one of the most frequented viewpoints in Phuket. From here, it is possible to take in views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai and Karon beaches. Karon Viewpoint is not visited on the Afternoon Sunset Tour. Located between Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches, the viewpoint is busy most days of the year and is a staple of many tour itineraries. Called locally ‘Khao Saam Haad’ (Three Beaches Hill), the local municipality for some reason has officially renamed it ‘Karon Viewpoint’. It’s located just to the south of Kata Noi Beach and looks out directly out to the Andaman Sea but most people have their cameras trained due north at the undeniably impressive eight-kilometre vista of the three west coast beaches in the background.
Of the many temples found on Phuket island, the Wat Chalong temple is the largest and most revered. The temple complex was built in its current location in 1837. Some remains of older structures have been found, however it is unknown exactly how old they are. The large grounds of Wat Chalong that is officially named Wat Chaitararam contains a viharn, a mondop, a ubosot, a chedi containing a secret relic, a sala and a crematorium.
A tour of a cashew nut factory in Phuket is a must for cashew nut lovers. The Cashew nut is a native produce that is grown in Phuket and other provinces of Southern Thailand, and are relatively cheap compared to prices in Western countries.
Old Phuket Town, is an area of historical interest in Phuket City. The main streets of Old Phuket Town are Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk, and Yoawarat. Old Phuket Town is noted for Sino-Portuguese buildings on both sides of the street. During the Afternoon Tour we will stop and this will be a Walking Tour for about 45minutes. Only during the Morning Tour will we pass through some streets without actually stopping.
Big Buddha Phuket is a 45-meter-tall white marble statue visible from anywhere in the southern part of Phuket. It is probably at the top of everyone’s ‘Must-Do in Phuket‘, and for a good reason. The views from up there are breathtaking. The statue is built with people’s donation and is still under construction. If you feel like doing something to help to finish the broad base of the Buddha, you can sponsor a piece of white marble for 300 to 1,000 baht depending on the size.
We invite you to visit the world's largest gem factory in Phuket. This is the last stop of the tour and is OPTIONAL only.

Gree (tour guide) and Chai (driver) gave us a memorable tour of Phuket. Gree was professional, personable and knowledgeable. He took pictures of us throughout the day so we can relive those memories. Besides the beautiful sites, we had a good experience at the cashew and gem stops.
The tour was great. Our guide Yo tailored it to our needs and was very accommodating the whole day. She did a great job informing us about each area and site we saw. Overall a great experience.
We ad a lovely day with Yoh. She was fun, good energy, and very knowledgeable. We went to several lovely lookouts on the west coast of the island, checked out the big bhudda (mostly closed due to landslide), cashew factory, the temple at wat chalong, and old town phuket.
A great way to see details of Phuket. To do it individually without a guide, would dishonor the beauty and historical elegance of Thailand.
A really personal and interesting tour, tailored to our needs. Our guide was really informative and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend a tour with her
What a wonderful day with our tour guide and driver. They were the best!
Our guide was excellent. Shared lots of information about the areas we visited, and was very knowledgeable about the area.
Our guide was Ada and Taitai was our driver. Ada spoke excellent (if fast!) English and gave explanations for everything we saw and answered all our questions. She came prepared with scarves to cover bare shoulders at the temple which was appreciated. Taitai provided chilled water and towels during the journey. The temple and Phuket old town were our favourites. However the visit to the gem ‘factory’ was not offered as an option, we were just taken there, and personally I felt pressured by the salesperson to look at all the jewellery on sale and to buy something. Nevertheless we had an educational and enjoyable tour.
Yoh, our tour guide, curated the day to our needs and desires. She and our driver went above and beyond to make it an exceptional experience and teach us about life in Thailand. We are very grateful for this wonderful day!
From the very beginning of our journey to guide and driver was fantastic help full explan everything we needed to know great views of the beach the big Buddha Was just a fantastic day and loved that it was just us in the car thank you very much
Ada and Shushu were great guides! We saw the show and enjoyed snacks and a good lunch! The Lady Finger bananas were sweet and yummy!
Absolutely the best tour ever because of our tour guide Yo! She was very well educated in all aspects of our tour from history, politics, government, social life and was just phenomenal. Request her as your guide and you will get the best overview of Phuket. The cashew place was great though I would skip the bling jewelry stop unless you just want expensive jewelry. Cannot say enough good things about this tour
Our tour guide waited for us at hotel lobby; spent a little time going through the itinerary before heading out for our tour. Driver was professional, the tour guide was very informative. It was a very good tour of Phuket’s highlights- perfect for our first time here.
We had a fantastic tour with Bina and Mr ThaiThai! We learned so much about Thai customs, history, and the places we visited!
Yo the tour guide was very informative & professional. We had good time & enjoyed our tour. Yo recommended an amazing restaurant for our Lunch
Fantastic experience with a great guide who showed is wonderful places. Well worth the money and I would thoroughly recommend the tour
Guide picked us up at hotel and explained what we would be seeing and the order in which we would see them. We first went to a gem factory, got on an odd type of amusement park train ride which lasted about 10 minutes, then they wanted us to buy “gems”. We really didn’t appreciate spending $160 on a tour and then be asked to buy expensive gems. We went to a couple of view points where we were able to view the beauty of the area. Spectacular pictures were taken. We went to a temple complex which was interesting. Our guide clearly had a passion for explaining everything we were seeing, but at times was difficult to understand. We went to see the Buddha that overlooks the city and then on to a cashew factory. The last stop was old town Phuket. Because there was a ton of traffic that day - certainly no fault of the tour operator- we opted not to walk around the old town and simply take a drive through which turned out to be sufficient. The tour last six hours, much of which was spent in traffic. I’m not sorry I took this tour but I cannot recommend. The gem factory, old town, and the cashew factory are tourist traps. For those thinking about taking this tour, let me tell you this………people are sometimes reluctant to give a lousy review. This tour has been in existence for quite some time…..some of the reviews go back several years. Yet there are fewer than 60 reviews. My guess is that many people had a mediocre experience and decided to pass on writing a review.
Our Guide was a lady named Yoh. She spoke excellent English and is a very knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our half day with her driver in a nice minibus. She walked with us at every stop and explained what we were seeing very effectively.
Saw everything on the agenda plus the gem factory. Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic & keen to take super photos. The temple was interesting to see & learn about. We found the cashew & gem factories fascinating. Yes there is a push to sell items to you but we just said no & actually had quite a laugh with them. Short time at the old city but perfectly adequate for a look around.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide was outstanding, full of energy, enthusiasm, and fascinating insights. He captured great photos for us and made sure we experienced Phuket’s beauty from some spectacular viewpoints.
We had a great day today thanks to our guide Yo and driver. Thank you both for a wonderful experience. I would recommend this tour 100%.
Excellent trip, very diverse, great guide, who was friendly, chatty, enthusiastic and above all, very knowledgeable.
Great tour! Guide easy to understand and very patient with us. Got a great overview of all the major sites.
We learned so much on this tour and fell even more in love with Phuket. Bena was an absolute sweetheart and took so many photos for us. Old town is just darling. This tour is a must!
This tour really focuses on getting you to buy, buy, buy. High pressure to buy jewelry at the pearl factory and cashew factory. We were over 2 hours late getting back (after voluntarily eliminating Old Town) so we missed our dinner reservations. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Do not recommend.
Very family friendly, especially for infants. Knowledgeable team and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning.
Too much time is allotted to the jewelry factory. Guide speaks too fast and is hard to understand most of the time. Good time at the scenic overview. Should have included a stop at the elephant "park".
Very good private tour by car with a good driver and knowledgeable guide. Around five and a half hours which is ample time to see the main sights and spend time at various locations and lookouts. A lot of traffic at times but that is normal for Phuket. Enjoyed the tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed, highly recommended, we had a great day, Yo and Mr Thai were lovely, very knowledgeable
This was the most awesome, most informative tour EVER!!! Ada was our guide. She gave us so much information the whole day. On the way to the tour, she told us about everything we were seeing along the way. She explained all the rules regarding visiting a temple so we were properly dressed and prepared.. BEST land tour in Phuket!!!
Amazing, fun, informative tour. Our tour guide, Yo, was so lovely and funny she spoke English well and was informative on all things thai. We loved her. Our driver, Nome, i think its spelt drove well and handed us refreshments. Best day, great people. A must do if your visiting phuket.
Yo our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Happy to adapt the tour to suit us. We were a party of 4 and all enjoyed the full tour. Lots of photo opportunities which Yoh was happy to take. Didn’t go to Gem factory so got longer time in Old Phuket town. Thoroughly recommend.
The worst ever, we were taken first to the gems store although it wasn’t even on the list for visit, and we didn’t have a choice. The visit of the temple was also poor, didn’t learn anything, explication was poor, and didn’t even have time to go inside. At the end of the day really quick visit of the old city just the shopping street and we had to return. We went back another day for proper visit.
This was a brilliant private tour. Guide and driver were amazing. Even took me to the supermarket for a hair dryer ! Unable to enter the Big Bhudda site due to a landslide but I was notified of that in the Uk before travel. Instead we were taken to a good viewing site for photos and there were souvenir shops close by. Free time in Phuket old town for shopping. Great tour and back at cruise ship in plenty of time. Highly recommended.
Great tour! It is private in a nice van. You can choose to stay longer or shorter and stops and make it the way you want. Highly recommend! Nong was a great tour guide!
We had a great time. Our guide Yo was fantastic! Very happy with this tour. Picked up on time, good communication, saw lots of places, learned a lot of facts, good way to see Phuket.
Very interesting and informative Lovely to see different parts of the country and landscapes Your guide was very friendly and knowledgeable
Beana was a great tour guide! She was very professional and made sure we had plenty of time at each spot. I would definitely recommend this tour!
We had an amazing time with our guide Yo and our driver. She was very knowledgeable and we spent just the right amount of time at each stop. The temple was very beautiful as were the lookout points to view beaches up the west coast. The cashew factory was more of a cashew shop but nonetheless tasty products. We opted not to go to the gemstone shop. This is a great half day tour and would recommend to anyone who wants to see different parts around Phuket.
Our driver was very accommodating and agreed to minor deviations from our schedule. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited, specially, he was a careful driver that made us feel safe with a helpful friend.
Exceptional hospitality! Our tour guide, Benna, was so energetic and kind and funny! She had a wonderful job teaching us about Thailand and Thai. She was extremely patient. We give our highest recommendation
This was an easy going tour. We didn’t feel rushed and felt we got a good overall tour. Well worth it.
Our guide was Ada, our van driver was “M”. We had a great private tour of Phuket. The Chating temple was our first stop. Ada explained the ritual significance, next the Karon View Point, then Big Buddha…road was closed due to landslide 5-6 months ago..but went to a garden spot below where we saw a mother monkey with her baby! The cashew nut factory was very informative. Nice gift shop. The Phuket pearl and gem jewelry factory was interesting with its Disneyland like ride to show how the gems used to be mined, however the sales pitch was a bit intense for me. Then off to old Phuket town where we had lunch on our own, and had time to walk into the shops. I loved the hustle, the architecture of the buildings and the prices on gifts were reasonable. Ada was fast talking, and cheerful and required us to be “good listeners” to understand. The driver M appeared when we needed a lift. Great day for another side of Phuket, without the hassle of driving!
Very Impressive and knowledgeable . The experience we gained is the memories of a lifetime. The tour guide Dina is punctual and explained everything in details.
Excellent experience in Phuket. Easy to coordinate pick up from both pier and take a tour of Phuket. We enjoyed the Wat Chalong and the scenic viewpoints including Sunset point and big Buddha,. Guide was professional and enthusiastic. The driver was extremely helpful and we enjoyed covering all the destinations, including old town Phuket and the gem factory. We chose to spend less time at old town and use the rest of the time to see the gem factory.
We were picked up from our hotel lobby and greeted by the most wonderful lady called Adar (apologies if spelt name wrong). We were taken to our air conditioned transport and started are journey. On the way to our first stop which was about 40 minutes away Adar told us the itinerary for the day, there was a slight change as the big Buddha was closed due to a landslide we we were informed about before the trip commenced. Along the way our guide pointed out lots of interesting sights and answered any of our questions. The first stop was Wat Chalong temple, at the temple Adar took us through the whole religious system that Thai people do when at the temple. We made many wishes and had lots of photos which Adar took for us. After there we went back to our transport and was greeted with ice cold water and a wet towel to freshen up with. Then our next stop was Karong view point where we had lots more photos taken even with a bird of prey. We then moved on to another view point which was just as beautiful and Adar was pointing out all the interesting views and giving us information. Her English was very good just a little quick but made us chuckle. We then went to the cashew factory and had some sampling and was able to purchase some nuts and other gifts. Then as we couldn’t go to the big Buddha Adar took us to the gem factory, we learnt about all the different gems that come from Phuket and the surrounding waters. We were never rushed it was all at our pace. After the gem factory we drove through the old town of Phuket where Adar pointed various interesting points before we headed back to our hotel. If was a fantastic day thanks to Adar. Thank you so much, we would definitely recommend this private tour.
Our guide and driver were courteous and obliging. they apologized for the effects of nature which had closed the visit to the Big Buddha because of a landside that caused thirteen fatalities. if we visit again the Big Buddha will still be there [hopefully] Visiting the gem factory and outlet was amazing, and we resisted the urge to spend. there thankfully was no pressure upon us to buy. I/we would recommend this tour.
I had both a private driver and guide,,,,two for the price of one! On the way to the big Buddha my guide mentioned places to pet a tiger and feed a baby elephant. I said I was interested and she deviated from the schedule so I could do both. What a special thrill of my vacation! She took me to a food court and explained the various dishes. As I did not have any local currency, she even exchanged a few dollars for me. She let me hotspot her phone so I could send tiger and elephant photos back home during lunch. A wonderful experience.
Nui was wonderful. We were picked up on time, she was a wealth of information about the culture of Thailand, took us to wonderful viewpoints, temples, Big Buddha, a gem store, Old Phuket town for some local shopping, a cashew nut factory. An absolutely perfect day. Could not ask for anything more!
