Stayed at this hotel recently. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in the room was in very poor condition.
The filter had not been cleaned for a very long time — it was covered with a thick layer of dust, clearly built up over years. This is not just about comfort, but also about hygiene and air quality.
In a tropical climate like Thailand, proper maintenance of air conditioning is essential. Breathing air through such a dirty filter is simply unacceptable.
I hope the management will pay more attention to basic cleanliness standards.
I booked through an OTA and got a great rate. The room was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the beach is just a few minutes away. There is also a convenient shuttle service to the beach, so getting there was very easy. Most importantly, the room was very comfortable—the bed was soft and perfect for a good night’s sleep
It was so bad I’m actually thinking about gifting my ex wife a week’s stay here and as for the delightful breakfast. I actually thought I was in a Thai prison.
On the plus side, the pool was decent but had no poolside bar, but the funny thing is - we were not allowed to drink soft drinks by the pool. My family survived the stay so I suppose I should be thankful 👍🏻 oh and no phones in the room, so we had to drag our own cases a mile to reception. Also told they can’t order taxis after a certain time. Shocking! Good luck for those who stay at what should be a 2* at best.
If you need a hotel just to be close to the airport- don’t book this hotel.
First of all- the location of the front desk and restaurant is a 10 minute walk, unshaded- from the main buildings.
Second, when arrived at front desk- nobody spoke English.
The hotel itself is also an apartment building, so there are many tenants. Lots of noisy Russians, be advised.
The rooms are outdated, a bit run down. Not what I expected at the price paid. They don’t have an airport shuttle any more- so really no point booking this hotel. I wish someone had warned me.
After I was stuck at the airport and couldn't make my Bangkok flight.. and unwell, I checked in here.. though the first room was 1* with ants.. and close view of airport runway... they moved me... and improved things...
I had to stay longer due to flue.. though there are issues with tour groups crowded..and all the airlines use this hotel if cancelled flights.. get busy..
However there are good things to say.. It has a good location. 10 min walk to beach. Nice lake restaurant.. and staff are actually friendly if you talk to them..
manager was a nice lady... kind. I know people were negative about the staff.. but if you engage with them they are friendly .. WhatsApp extentions were well done.
I missed the breakfasts but setting is fine. Restaurant setting nice
Condos 1 bed deluxe are surprisingly nice.. and anyone need a longer stay and not wanting 5 star.. clean and good location it works
* negatives its 15 min walk to the condos.. and you can't hail a buggy.. one nearly run over my foot.when I was trying to go to reception..was rude. so don't bring heavy luggage.
Though you can order one from reception..
*No phones in rooms.. its actually a residential condo complex, but they manage some of the rooms.
*There are very strict rules.. due to large groups.
Pool was nice if you could swim.
I could not..due to a long term guest..
Resident woman who swims all day in pool and upsets guests.
*Agressive woman 60 Rus swimming 7 hours a day around the pool who was addicted to swimming.. she swam from 8 am to 5pm yes non stop! Not training.. Just addictive OCD behaviour. She would swim at people who got in her way agressive! Had to follow a circle she was rude if anyone got in her way! She upset nice Russian children and other guests.. who I spoke to and who complained. In the end people would go walking to beach to avoid her and didn't like to use the pool. The lifeguard said he could do nothing.. he said he never seen anyone keep swimming circuits like this. I complained that she was over using the facilities. Be aware she is long term and she will spoil you trip to the pool..! Very bad for paying guests
