Thank god that wasn’t the first night to me in Thailand or probably i will hate the country, it was the worst and a nightmare for honeymoon plan. I paid online for 2 nights then went to a robot reception then she told me she cannot carry the luggages and no porter either. The room was a nasty and smelly.. AC was hot .. bathroom sewer was blocked.. I asked her to change the villa she apologized due to no villa is available but I told her there is availability in booking how come no availability!! I told her I cannot accept to stay during my honeymoon in such place At the end of the story .. they charged me 2 days for less than 2 hours accommodation .. I escaped and ran away

We stayed here from 21–22 February and mentioned to the hotel that we were celebrating our anniversary. To be fair, the room was beautifully arranged and thoughtfully designed, and the service was great. They especially prepared lovely bedding decorations for our special occasion, which we truly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this place — it is very beautiful. However, we believe your Google reviews would be even higher if the maintenance of the property were more carefully looked after. With better upkeep of the facilities, we’re sure many more positive reviews will come your way. Overall, thank you again for taking the time to arrange everything for our special occasion. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wish there was an option for 0 stars but if youre out there reading my comment. DO NOT BOOK this villa. Save your money. My relation with Villa sonata goes back to 2023. When i first came to thailand i booked it and it was quite decent. Every year since then i had trip to Thailand and stayed there for few days and the condition and hospitality of the whole place went surprisingly down. For starters the place is full of insects/bugs what not with weird insects sounds coming all around. The bed is probably used for 10 years and still put there. Its too uncomfortable too sleep on. And * THE PRIVATE POOL* for which mostly ppl will book this place. Pool is small and short. Thats fine but the pool is full of dirty things. Dead insects. Leaves and dirt. And the location is way too bad. Its too far from patong the main hub and cabs take too long to come and even if they do its too expensive. And i had to checkout from the villa Just today and i was late by 1hr. It wouldve been nice to not charge me 1000 baht just for being a little late. I had my last 1200baht cash for airport taxi and other expenses and despite telling the rude girl at counter and telling her that ive been here quite few time so if possible please dont charge me for being 30 mins over the time. She still took 1000thb from me and probably put that money inside here own pockets. VILLA SONATA IS A BIG BIG NO FOR EVERYONE. -1/10 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THEM

Booked this place for three nights but ended up checking out within one hour. The property is not looked after at all. The pictures on internet is great but the reality is complete opposite. Poor drainage, shower head was clogged. Poor communication skills, pool was not clean. We came from Nz and paid a lot but unfortunately this was the biggest bummer for us. So disappointed!! Hygiene can’t be compromised and they should know it better.
