We had a late checkin, upon asking for water in the night at 1 AM, the reply receptionist gave was, ‘we serve only 2 bottles of water’(500ml each). We were okay to pay for extra bottle to which the receptionist replied , ‘we dont sell water, you can go to seven eleven.’ Had this information came to us while we were checking in we would have made arrangements. Better communication would have been appreciated.
Rooms had musky smell on arrival, they offered to change rooms. For a 4 star the cleanliness was not as expected.
Hotel staff service is good. They were prompt to sent towels etc.
Hotel has good lawn and swimming pool.
This hotel is pretty decent and well reachable and just a few mtrs from the main road.
The rooms are well maintained and staff is very friendly and accommodating. I really like the pool. It's well maintained and give this place a unique look and design.
The breakfast buffet is good but not too many options. You can order to eat as well.
The room service is top notch.
Only bad part is when this place has a wedding or outdoor event. Then it can be pretty noisy. Heads-up:)
Overall..I'm happy with this place.
The room was great and the staff were friendly. However, during my stay on Sunday at 7:00 a.m., there was a wedding taking place in the garden, which disturbed my peace and interrupted my sleep. I was quite frustrated, as it really ruined the start of my day!
Good service, friendly and helpful receptionist. First night we got a room with loud air conditioner, we asked them to fix it which they tried but did not improve the noise so they gave new rooms within an hour of asking. Location is not the most convenient but there is convenient parking, big clean swimming pool and the hotel isnt too small which gives a bit of resort vibes.
For anyone who comes to Phuket and wants to stay in a reasonably priced hotel with clean rooms, a pool, and a location outside of the city. The Pago design might be a good choice for you.
I have the opportunity to stay here during the weekend. After we check-in, my family asked the front desk about the time for breakfast because we have to check out early tomorrow morning and it happen to be before breakfast. Then the reception offers us to cooperate with the chef and prepare our breakfast box in advance, which is really nice.
We were lucky that we got the corner room with a wide balcony. The room is clean and not too stuffy. The bathroom was constructed open space without walls while the shower room and toilet are separated into a room. But the balcony does not keep much sound when children come out to play in the pool. There will be a noise that is quite loud.
In addition, the surrounding areas may not have many stores. Therefore, I recommend this place to people who have a car. There are many delicious restaurants a little bit further away. You can also visit the old town which is 4 kilometers away, which is quite close for people who have cars.
Even though I only had a chance to stay one night. But it was a very good experience. And the staff are very nice too.
