The Beachfront Hotel Phuket

Horrible experience. The accommodations were definitely not what was stated. There is not any beach. Just a jagged shore line. Location that was described was definitely not so. Building was tattered and literally falling apart.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights from July 24-26 and had a pleasant stay. The Reservation Manager, Ms. Tuanjai “Paew” Jansai was very hospitable and personally showed me around the property and the room types with great patience and grace. Thank you.

The location was something we were really looking forward to, as it was close to the beach. However, the hotel was quite a long drive from the airport, so by the time we arrived, we were already exhausted. As soon as we checked in, we were given a key card and told that someone would escort us to our room. We were driven to the parking area and shown to the elevator, but no one accompanied us the rest of the way. When we reached our room, we were unable to get in because our key card was inactive. We were locked out for about 10 minutes before realizing the issue. We tried calling the front desk, but our call was declined, so we had to go downstairs to ask for help in person. We had to make this trip three separate times. The first time, we were told that an employee was already on the way to our room and had left us a working key card, but when we returned, there was no one there and no card. The second time, we were given another key card, but it was also inactive. Throughout this process, we were speaking English, but it wasn’t until we spoke Thai on our third visit that the staff seemed willing to assist us properly. We finally received a working key card, only to later learn that the employee assigned to help us had been eating, leaving us waiting for around 30 minutes. As we were waiting we went to go walk around and see the itinerary’s we could do, there’s nothing near by and you’d have to pay for taxis to go somewhere you’d want to go. The so called “beach” was a filthy doc filled with crabs and boats. It wasn’t relaxing nor did it look clean. After hours of traveling, this level of service was extremely disappointing and made for a frustrating first impression. To make matters worse, we also found a dead fly on the bed, which was very unsanitary and raised concerns about the room’s cleanliness.

Pretty good accommodation with quite strategic location. The staff were all nice and hospitable. The room was a standard for a four star hotel, but the pool view kinda makes it looked more elevated. Went here when the weather is nice so we got beautiful view. Staff at the restaurant were also very nice, foods are standard for a four star, but no complaint so far.
