We stayed at sugar Marina surf in Kata Beach for 10 days and absolutely loved it! The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and the hotel is in a central location.
The staff were very attentive and friendly, especially Miw and Dee, who checked in with us regularly to ask about our stay and spent the time to get to know us! The buffet breakfast was great, with a wide range of options available from traditional Thai food to eggs and pastry. The amenities such as the pool and gym were very clean and the hotel did a happy hour everyday between 2-3pm. Definately would stay here again!!

Speaking of the room, it was big, very cozy, and spotlessly clean, with high-quality bed linen that made our sleep incredibly comfortable.
The housekeeping team did a fantastic job every single day.
We also loved the breakfasts—everything was fresh, with a wonderful variety of options to suit every taste.
The entire hotel staff is remarkably kind and welcoming, but we want to give a special, heartfelt thank you to Thandar! She was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
This hotel has become my favourite in Thailand and my only option if I returned to Phuket. Right down from the room, the view, the location and accessibility - everything is so well aligned.
1. Room - it's big, clean and i got the pool view. I love that it has the long sleeping sofa where I can lazy around without messing the bed. The housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean daily. I got supply of fresh towel, drinking water and their body soap...it smell so nice. They have beach mat, flip flop and bag provided so this came so handy. Staff is friendly, front liners speak good English and helpful.
2. Location - Marina Surf is near to everything. There is a huge (I mean hugeee) 7-eleven on the left of the hotel as u walked out. The night market is nearby and I enjoyed walking to the beach which takes ard 10 mins. The fresh market is further up the big 7-eleven and you can get some local food nearby.
3. Safety - I feel safe and no one really stare at you. I guess the locals are so used to the high influx of tourist to the island so this is a daily affairs to them.
Overall 5 stars for a budget friendly hotel that stretch your wallet further.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, but what truly made my experience special was the outstanding service. A special thanks to Thandar from the lobby reception team, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. She was always willing to help with a smile and made me feel genuinely welcomed.
I also really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was consistently delicious, with great variety and excellent quality.
Overall, the combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and amazing food made this a fantastic experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
