Absolutely Terrible Experience – I Strongly Do Not Recommend This Hotel! Our experience at Sawddi Hotel was extremely disappointing, to the point that we decided to check out early and move to another hotel, even though we had booked a two-night stay. We arrived at our first room at around 2 PM, but we left almost immediately without settling in. When we returned at around 5 PM, we discovered a horrible sewage smell inside the room, along with overwhelming cooking smells coming from the surrounding area. The balcony overlooked a dirty, unpleasant alley, and the strong smells made it impossible to relax or enjoy the space. What made this even more disappointing was that we had informed the hotel in advance that we were newlyweds. Despite this, the room we were given was completely unacceptable. After complaining, we were moved to another room in a different building at around 8 PM. Unfortunately, the second room also failed to meet basic cleanliness standards. At around midnight, we discovered visible stains and dirty marks on the bed sheet. We took photos as evidence. The problems were not limited to the rooms and cleanliness. We also had a very unpleasant interaction with a staff member named BB, whose attitude and manner of dealing with us were extremely poor. Instead of handling our complaints professionally and trying to resolve the situation, his attitude made an already frustrating experience even worse. The experience was so bad that we decided to check out and move to another hotel, despite having paid for a two-night booking. Imagine having to change hotels and deal with all this frustration during what was supposed to be a special trip to celebrate your marriage! In my opinion, this hotel has serious issues with room cleanliness, bedding standards, and customer service. Guests should not have to deal with sewage smells, unpleasant cooking odors, dirty bed sheets, and unprofessional staff just to receive the basic standard of accommodation they paid for. I strongly do not recommend this hotel, and I would never stay here again. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and respectful customer service, think carefully before booking. Our experience was extremely poor, and the attached photos provide evidence of the cleanliness issues we encountered.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent 5-Night Family Stay in Patong We stayed at Patong Resort & Spa by Tolani for 5 nights with our family, including senior citizens and kids, and overall had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. 🏨 Rooms & Upgrade: The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. One of the best things about our stay was that the hotel upgraded our rooms and arranged rooms closer to the pool, which was very convenient for our kids and senior family members. This thoughtful gesture made a big difference for us. 🧹 Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Housekeeping was good and the rooms were cleaned regularly. Towels, toiletries and other essentials were replenished when required. The common areas and surroundings were also well maintained. 🍳 Breakfast: Breakfast had a good variety of options. Since we were travelling with an Indian family, we requested Indian-style food, and the kitchen was kind enough to prepare Indian dishes for us on request. This was a huge plus, especially when travelling with kids and senior citizens. The staff were accommodating and tried their best to make sure we were comfortable with the food. 👨‍💼 Reception & Staff: The reception team was friendly, helpful and cooperative throughout our stay. Check-in and other requests were handled smoothly. The staff were approachable whenever we needed assistance. 🏊 Pool & Family Experience: The pool area was enjoyable, especially for the kids. Having our upgraded rooms close to the pool made it much easier for our family to manage the children while also keeping our senior family members comfortable. 🛎️ Service: Room service and overall hotel service were satisfactory, and the staff generally responded positively to our requests. We especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate our family’s needs. 📍 Location: The location is convenient for exploring Patong, with easy access to shopping, restaurants and nearby attractions. Overall, Patong Resort & Spa by Tolani was a very good choice for our 5-night family stay. Travelling with kids and senior citizens can sometimes be difficult, but the staff’s cooperation, room upgrade, cleanliness and willingness to prepare Indian food made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to Indian families travelling with children and senior citizens. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent—the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were great, and the service exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. I would especially like to thank NU for the outstanding service and kindness. NU was professional, attentive, and always greeted guests with a smile, making my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to NU and the whole team for the excellent hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Look the hotel is nice on arrival and 2 large pools which play music during the day. The accommodation is near some cool ethnic Thai food places and the muay thai stadium. The room however is not to standard. They don't help you with your bags, my bed was wet when I hopped into it at 2am and was too late to request a new room so I slept on a towel. The rooms are not sound proof or limiting I was woken up multiple times by other guests returning to their rooms. The aircon is Loud and doesn't work well. Your view is rubbish 🗑 on the street unless you go poolside. Look its cheap but for the same price you can probably locate a better hotel elsewhere.
