This hotel is a scamer hotel. Let me explain. They sell at Agoda for cheap and when you check with hotel reservation you will find that they do not recognize agoda.. what a joke.. they even told me to purchase again from their own website.. i simply will ask you to avoid such a scam hotel. I HAVE PROOF OF THE CLAIM I AM DOING HERE.
Amazing experience, we was here early August (wife kids) perfect location for us. We upgraded durring booking to a pool view room at 2111 2110 and these rooms are very spacious with safe and fridge. We had two rooms with a door in the middle connecting both. Pool is amazing and only 140cm deep. Staff are extremely friendly and breakfast was great too, no rushing around very relaxed atmosphere. Location is good if you want to a relaxing holiday without the noise of clubs and bars. Local shops just 5 mins walk and money exchange. The first lady on the left has proven to have best rates from the rest. Seafood market is at the end of the main road where you see McDonald's and its worth the visit. Naka market, old phuket town, chilva market all about 30-45 min drive. I would high recommend hiring a car. Roads similar to UK and and easy to drive just keep an eye out for overtaking bikes. Closet market for street food is Kata market which is about 15 min drive. Lots of view points to get an amazing view around 5 mins away, Karon view point. Must visit andamanda water park, such great fun. The Beach in Rawai is not great, full of fishing boats, closest beach it Kata beach but keep an look out for the smaller beaches as they are not as packed. Taxi travel could get quite expensive for round trips do negotiate before jumping in. For Hala food if its not labelled hallal on the signs its not halal even though they might say it is. But there is lots of halal street food stalls and restaurants so need not worry. Must see Phuket old town market on sunday.
Its a little out of the action. We came to terms with its other pluses. It has an amazing Seafood markets quite the experience if you like your seafood. As far as the Island Cruises eg... James Bond Is etc it's an hour each way to the boat harbour. No great beaches either.
Wow, what can I say about Rawai Palm Beach Resort. We visited in May 26. As we run our own travel agency, we never like going back to the same place twice but I would happily make an exception in this case. The hotel was clean, the staff were more than pleasant and went above and beyond to make our time there excellent. The hotel is right near a fishing beach but the hotel runs a shuttle service to one of the most beautiful beaches just 5 minutes away. You'll be surrounded by nearby dining options and a 7eleven for any other bits and pieces. Excursions are easily bookable here for all kinds of things (we personally recommend Elephant Hug). The hotel is nice and our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great,large and with a bar that serves both food and drinks. The room was cleaned daily, which we appreciated. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but it works very efficiently. The staff was nice and helpful, and the location is quiet, making it perfect for relaxing nights.
