An old hotel with terrible management. You never know when the reception is staffed, and there are no "Do Not Disturb" or "Clean Room" signs.
Most importantly, the lack of staff is a major safety hazard: the front desk was left completely abandoned at night with absolutely no phone response, and also a several hours during during operating hours allowing a dangerous, unauthorized stranger to walk freely into the building. Unsafe and highly irresponsible.
To make matters worse, the hotel staff took no responsibility for the incident.
This hotel is terrific value & I rate it highly as a keen swimmer for its lap pool..approx 30 metres. The rooms are excellent with balconies bathroom with a bath, smart TV & kitchenette. Just 30 metres from the Rawai waterfront & hidden behind the McDonald's franchise I would describe this hotel as a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly & speak English. Overall a great place to stay & I will be back soon
Very pleasant check-in experience. The young lady at the desk was friendly and very helpful. The air conditioner worked great, the room was spacious, and there was a large balcony. Good wifi, The extra amenities included a big fridge and range.
Apparently the person who works nights at the front desk likes to start fights with 105 lb women who are far smaller than him. Pathetic.
Our stay was not bad overall but was ruined by this guy. We went to the lobby to collect our bags, and not 30 seconds later come out to him shouting at our car driver for parking in a parking spot infront of the lobby. Had to step in between him and her as he was lunging at the small lady. Hopefully the manager here can review the camera footage and hold him accountable. Unhinged behaviour.
Rooms and facilities are fine, pool area could use some TLC as the back side area is run down, but it’s fine. Housekeepers and other staff were friendly enough.
Room was nice. Nothing fancy, but perfect for my needs. Tons of storage space in room. Long pool, excellent for swimming laps. Warning: the nearby bar is super loud from 8 to midnight. A non issue if you tend to be out and about in the evening. I think most people would say bed is very hard / super firm. I slept well regardless. Price was good when I was there during the low season. The hotel is less than a block in from the beach and thus super convenient to everything. The lobby and pool area have a tropical oasis feel. The best part for me was the staff. Outstanding!
