We honestly enjoy our stay, amazing place for the price. We had a breakfast every morning and it was delicious. The rooms are cleaned every day, also when they clean them they leave 1 mineral water bottle per person. We had problem with the water as 2 times there wasn’t any water to take a shower but when we reported this at the reception both times was sorted within a minute.

What a fantastic resort. nestled in the hills it’s super quiet. apart from the frogs and birds which was lovely. the staff are very sweet and the rooms are large. they have an amazing bar that overlooks Karon and makes for a great spot to catch the sunset with a cocktail. the pool is really refreshing because it isn’t in the sun all day. amazing. breakfast was tasty. and it’s just a 5 min ride down the hill if you want some action. loved it. i will return. And it was super affordable.
The hotel is uphill from the main road - 30 min by walk and 5-10 min by car but most shared vans / bolt drivers were okay to drop us off / pick us up. We had one incident where the driver was not happy with the drive. The resort claims to be a 4 star hotel but it is not imo for 2 main reasons: 1. They said that they would only change towels one every 3-4 days and the sheets once every 5 days. Even when we requested the towels be changed at least once in 2 days, they said that we need to call and it will be based on availability. Not sure why there is a problem with towel availability in a 4 star hotel as if we asked to be served some premium wine. 2. The bathroom was clean but had basic plumbing issues. The sink was always leaking, the toilet bidet sprayer was always leaking and the room boy did not explain how to operate the shower. The hand shower would leak from the hose leading up to the heater.
The best days of this hotel are long gone. I would honestly be very surprised if it is still operating in the next few years. The few positives are that the rooms and living spaces are very spacious, and the pool area is great. Unfortunately, everything else is extremely dated. The wooden floor tiles are coming off — my son even cut his foot, which resulted in an injury. The walls are peeling and overall the property is in poor condition and badly in need of renovation. The location is also a major downside. It is far from everything, with a very steep and difficult walk to access the hotel (with no shops/restaurants nearby). During our stay, we spent an entire day (9:00–17:00) without power or water. While I understand these issues can happen, a hotel should have backup plans in place and show more empathy toward guests who pay for a full service experience. Overall, we were very disappointed. This was the only property we stayed at in Thailand that we would not return to.
The resort is beautifully tucked away in lush greenery, offering a perfect mix of comfort and adventure. Our treetop bungalow had stunning views and the soothing sounds of the rainforest all around. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was fresh and full of local flavour, and the guided jungle walks were a real highlight. Whether relaxing in a hammock or exploring hidden trails, every moment felt peaceful and refreshing. If you want to escape the noise and reconnect with nature, this resort is the ideal getaway
