We had an excellent stay at Movenpick Bangtao. We had a 3 bedroom penthouse suite overlooking the laguna, pool and the sea. The hotel staff was exceptional especially our housekeeping team. Ice was excellent and always went above and beyond to make sure our room was clean and comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Movenpick. It was a memorable stay and wish you all the best. See you again. Best wishes, Shah

Our stay at this resort was really enjoyable, and peaceful perfect for families want to be away from busy experiences in Thailand/phuket. Located in luxury area of Phuket. Good quality accessories inside the rooms- feels like a home. All the staff are very kind and helpful. Our Concierge staff was very helpful namely miss Rainy, miss Fang.
We recently stayed in a 3-Bedroom Executive Villa (Villa 6206, checked in on May 27th) as Accor Gold members. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of what you would expect from a 5-star Mövenpick property. Check-in & Customer Service The disappointment started immediately at the front desk. The staff member who checked us in was exceptionally rude and lacked even basic customer service skills. There was zero acknowledgment of our Accor Gold status or any sense of hospitality. Villa Condition & Maintenance The rooms are "okay," but they certainly do not reflect 5-star luxury. The property is showing its age, the backs of the beds are noticeably worn out, and the showers and toilets feel quite run-down. Our biggest frustration was a severe plumbing issue: we had no hot water for over 12 hours. We had to make multiple calls to the front desk to get this addressed. Shockingly, we dealt with the exact same rude staff member from check-in, whose response to our maintenance issue was highly unprofessional and dismissive. Dining (The Palm Restaurant) We had breakfast at The Palm restaurant. While the food options are decent, the buffet menu is very limited for a resort of this size. Furthermore, the service was entirely hit and miss. The staff consistently appeared grumpy and gave the distinct impression that they were not in the mood to serve guests. Conclusion Overall, this was a very average experience. If hotel management is reading this and wants to address these issues with their team, a massive improvement in customer service and hospitality training is desperately needed. We expected much better.
Special mention to Gavin and I think his name was Orly (the half filipino) for giving out the best hotel service.. all staff were actually commendable. Each one of them. Kudos to the management. We always feel welcomed and very responsive. Facilities are also well maintained. Spent 2 nightz here and I had one of the best sleep.. no noise from the outside. Perfect place to really relax. The only downside might be just the location. It is a bit far to other locations. But I wanted peace and quiet and this delivers.
