I would like to appreciate the warm and caring hotel staff in the kids club for taking good care of my kid when he was there. He had a great time trying out the activities such as the hotel scavenger hunt and movie night. Pool and beach side facilities were good too. The breakfast spread had a good variety and local dishes like Pad Thai and stir fry vegetables are made to order at the live stations. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
I got a free upgrade to a pool side room. This made the room itself so valuable, because I could jump into the pool anytime I want. The room was also big and the beds were comfortable and spacious. The result also included a beach. The beach was very clean and beautiful. The beach also offers a lot of sport facilities and activities, including beach volleyball, mini basketball and hoop, mini football goals and ball, a medium sized gym and huge swimming pools. The only downside of this resort is the location, in order to have a clean and private beach, the location has to be concealed. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the closest mall and about 15 minutes from the main road. Overall, this hotel is very solid and I would recommend staying there.
We loved loved our stay at Le meridien. The resort gives upmarket vibes, with lovely rooms and facilities, but not too pristine for you to feel off being there with kids. We found the pool setup very comfortable with the children, they had slides but we could still enjoy the beach view and serene gardens. The bar was great with quality cocktails. Service was great, extra special thanks to Summer and Birdy, who were just lovely and went above and beyond to help us out with an issue attaining a car seat for our toddler. The poolside food is pretty pricey especially considering portions but that’s the norm at this caliber of resort I guess. Breakfasts were fresh, quality and smoke options for any palate. We also loved the access to the beach front local restaurants just next door. The hotel is on a lovely quiet little remote spot, lush surroundings and beautiful beachfront, you would need a car to get around or taxis, nothing except the 2 local restaurants next door with walking distance. But that was all we needed! We did have a car and went to the local “busy” are about 6 minute drive for more eateries and massages. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! But for those looking for hustle bustle and night life I suggest doing a little research on the location first….
We had an outstanding stay at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao from start to finish. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. The food was absolutely exceptional, with a huge variety of delicious options at every meal. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something fresh and flavorful to enjoy. The activities offered by the resort were also fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. There was always something fun to do, making it the perfect place to relax while staying entertained. A truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!
We had a pleasant four-night stay at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort, and once again, what stood out most was the people. This was our second time staying at the resort, and it was lovely to see many familiar faces still there. The staff genuinely made a huge difference to the overall experience and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. We travelled as a family with two young children, aged five and two, so the kids’ experience was very important to us. The kids club was easily the main highlight of the stay. The team — Mook, Pai, Duean, Nim and May — were excellent. They were attentive, patient and very caring with the children, and the activities were fun, engaging and well thought out. Our kids looked forward to spending time there every day, which gave us as parents a lot of comfort and confidence. What made it even more special was that during our departure, the team thoughtfully prepared gifts for our kids as an appreciation for joining their activities. It was such a sweet and personal gesture, and our children absolutely loved them. The team’s warmth and thoughtfulness really left a lasting impression on our family. The resort activities were also enjoyable. We particularly liked the Muay Thai session conducted by Dew, as well as the origami session led by Dew and Kee. These activities added a nice touch to the stay and made the resort feel more lively and family-friendly beyond just the beach and pool. The arrival experience was smooth and welcoming, and check-out was equally easy and efficient. Housekeeping was also well done during our stay, with the room kept clean and comfortable. The breakfast team deserves a mention too, as the staff were helpful, responsive and attentive. The cooked food at breakfast was great, and there was a good sense of hospitality from the team. That said, there are some areas where the resort could improve. At breakfast, some food items were not covered properly, and there were flies around them, so it would be good if the hotel could look into better food covering or protection. The dining area also felt like it needed some maintenance, as the air-conditioning was dripping water and some of the seat cushions looked like they could use better cleaning or replacement. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness and service from the team. The staff remain the resort’s biggest strength, especially for families with young children. While some parts of the property could benefit from repair works, renovation and a deeper refresh, the warmth of the people and the quality of the kids club made the stay memorable.
