My stay at La Flora Resort was wonderful! The resort has a beautiful ambience, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the stay. The location is lovely, and the overall experience was relaxing and memorable. The food and services were also impressive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable getaway!
Wonderful hotel nestled away on a bush street. Had a great dinner at The Surface. Our serve John was very helpful. I had the chicken breast with mashed potatoes and my husband had steak with potato wedges. We came at happy hour buy 1 get 1 drinks. I had a Mai Tai which was very good. So far our stay has been pleasant. The area is overwhelming but you get used to it. There’s so much going on. The staff is extremely accommodating, they want to do everything for you. We had an issue with the WiFi and they came right away to help with the WiFi and TV. Our room is very nice and clean. TV is a smart TV. We have a deluxe pool access and it is perfect size. The included breakfast and mini bar is a huge plus. ****Edit: I love this hotel. The folks working here are AMAZING… they cater to you. They get to know you. We got engaged and told one employee… obvi they gossiped and everyone was congratulated us for days. “Ohhh congrats room 209”!! We had a pool access deluxe, they brought drinks to our outside area. Beach front is amazing. Location is perfect. Bangla road is 2 min walk. McDonald’s and Burger King 1 min away for those Americans who have trouble eating in Asia. I would return.

The service was outstanding from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to all the staff, both the morning and night teams, for your warm smiles, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. Everyone made me feel so welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The location is fantastic,right by the beach and within walking distance of everything you need, making it the perfect place to explore Patong while still enjoying a relaxing getaway. Thank you to the entire La Flora Resort Patong team for making my first trip to Thailand so memorable. I truly appreciate everything you've done, and I will definitely be back again. We returned to this beautiful place after a 17 year absence we were here last for our honeymoon and now we returned with our children. The hotel has aged a little although the maintenance is daily and constant. We were always greeted warmly by the beautiful front office hotel staff who made it feel like home. The same can be said by the beautiful Care and her wonderful team during our breakfast. She would always go above and beyond to ensure we would have an amazing experience and ensure that my children would have what they loved on the daily. One of my daughters loved the mangosteen and Care made sure she had them ready for her in abundance. The beautiful staff at La Flora have always made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were always maintained immaculate and everything was always restocked. One perk is the daily free mini fridge always replenished. My daughters are already missing this place and the staff and we haven’t even left yet. Will not hesitate to stay at La Flora again. Love this place and the beautiful staff.
La Flora Patong has one major advantage — the location. The accessibility to Patong Beach is excellent, and the hotel is also very well connected by road. Bangla Road, restaurants, shopping areas, and nearby attractions are all easily accessible, which makes the stay convenient. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the property itself has a nice atmosphere. However, the overall experience does not feel like a true 5-star hotel. At best, it feels more like a 3.5-star or 4-star property. The breakfast buffet selection was limited and repetitive, and the food quality was average. The service was one of the weaker parts of the stay. Staff were friendly, but the service lacked the professionalism, speed, and attention to detail expected from a luxury hotel. Sometimes basic requests took longer than expected and needed repeated follow-up. Another disappointing point was that the hotel charges extra for many small things, which makes the experience feel less premium. Even basic services sometimes felt unnecessarily chargeable. Also, simple modern conveniences like having enough power outlets near the bed should already be standard in hotels at this level, but that was missing. Overall, La Flora Patong is decent mainly because of its excellent beach access, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. But the food quality, buffet variety, and service standards need significant improvement before it can truly justify being called a 5-star hotel.
