The Hotel is very large, lots of pool space and beautiful gardens.
Breakfast was good, lots of options. The entitled behaviour of other guests damped the experience though. Maybe only take what you need. Be respectful to staff, don’t leave the table looking like a pig ate at it.
Room is very big, aircon worked wonderful, clean room although shower needs more scrubbing, mould in the bottom corners.
The staff are somewhat friendly, some more than others. The security and the guys driving the carts were the friendliest, we appreciated their lifts around the hotel.
Very disappointed to learn when we arrived that the pool slides are closed for maintenance, would have been helpful to know when we made the booking. Also the waterfall was not turned on the whole time we were here.
This hotel will charge you 1,000 baht just to let friends come in to say goodbye and stay for a mere 30 minutes to an hour. It’s all about the money; to them, you’re nothing more than a walking credit card.
I’m used to establishments like this, but I’ve never seen anything like it. From now on, I’ll recommend the InterContinental to friends visiting Phuket; it’s a reliable choice that actually upholds principles regarding its guests.
First of all, the hotel room conditon is very good. The bedsheets, towels, pillow and the air conditioner are really clean. I travelled with 2 kids by myself and the kindly arrenged 2 beds together and one bed by the window side.
Secondly, the staff was always helpfull and really kind. Specially Ms Freshy and Ms Eve were kind to arrange with my needs as I was quite tired arriving late from a long flight.
Lastly, the pools were clean and the slides were fun. Parents travelling with kids will find the several pools quite nice.
Oh! Forgot to tell you that breakfast was really good with variaty of menus.
The biggest highlight of this place is definitely the garden and the big swimming pools (I mean, they're enormous). The rooms are okay, and breakfast was tasty.
There are some details the hotel management could work on. For instance, if you organise a happy hour and don't provide half the beverages (I’m not even talking about alcoholic drinks; I just wanted an iced latte), what kind of happy hour is that? I would call it a "disappointment hour."
Nevertheless, I am generally satisfied with my stay. I will return one day. I hope you will work on the standard, so I can happily change my score to 5 stars.
Lovely gardens , nice clean swimming pool. The female receptionists were very polite and helpful in everything we needed. So were the cleaning room service .food was good but beverages not good. No fresh fruits in the smoothies and cocktails were like just drinking water with a splash of taste. The room we stayed was ok,not a new one but everyday maids came to clean. Breakfast was good for a 4star hotel. Not big and good variety of marmalades though but full of local food and soups. The noodle soup in the show cooking spot was fantastic and so did the stir fried noodles.
