We stayed for 3 nights with our family at this property. It was near, clean and well equipped. Although I don't think it fits in the 5 star category. We struggled with room service - could barely connect with them as the phone would go unanswered a lot. The bathroom design is a bit weird, the clear glass at the top and bottom, exposing showering and using the loo was a bit unsettling for us. The 2 pools are nice, beach access is also a plus. Sunsets at the beach were nice. Breakfast in the morning had a good spread, although we didn't enjoy the restaurant food otherwise. Location wise it's around 25-30 walking to the main busy area and 10 min by taxi/bike. There is a tops and 7/11 just opposite the hotel so that we was very convenient. The beach club at the hotel was closed during the duration of our stay. Was said to open on 10th October 2026. Overall a good stay, but expected more professionalism from the hotel for the 5 star category it had placed itself in.

An amazing experience from the moment we made our reservation. Communication was excellent even before our arrival—the reservations team responded promptly, acknowledged my partner’s birthday, and thoughtfully prepared the room with a lovely surprise that made our stay even more special. After a long flight and a 40-minute drive to the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff. A special thank you to WA, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very beginning. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Chayma, Aisha, and the Room Division Manager, Sudarat (Oui), for their exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and warm service truly made a difference and contributed to an unforgettable experience. The room was in a fantastic location, spotless, and very comfortable. The food was delicious, and the breakfast offered a great variety with excellent quality. The experience was so enjoyable that we decided to extend our stay for another five nights, changing our original plan to visit other areas of Phuket because we simply wanted to spend more time at the resort. The only suggestion I would make is regarding the gym. For such a large and beautiful resort, it could benefit from having more equipment and a wider variety of machines to better accommodate guests. Overall, we had a truly memorable stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality. We look forward to returning in the future.
I am very disappointed with my stay at Amora Beach Resort Phuket. Based on the way it is marketed, I expected a genuine 5-star experience, but in reality it feels like a 3-star resort at best. The biggest issue is the service. Many staff members seem to avoid eye contact, making it feel as though they're trying to avoid being approached by guests. When you do manage to order something, the wait for drinks is often unreasonably long. The all-inclusive drinks have been the biggest letdown. The quality is extremely inconsistent, and the same cocktail never tastes the same twice. One Whiskey Sour tasted like nothing but syrup, while another was somehow made with vodka instead of whiskey. Overall, the cocktails are poorly prepared and far below the standard you would expect from a resort claiming to be 5-star. The food, to be fair, is good and has been the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, good food alone cannot make up for the poor service and disappointing beverage experience. I chose this resort expecting a premium all-inclusive holiday, but it simply hasn't delivered. Unless there are significant improvements in staff service, drink quality, and consistency, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a true 5-star experience.
Although the rooms are lovely and the staff is kind and helpful, considering the cost of the hotel I was perhaps expecting better service and facilities. Breakfast: lots of varieties of dishes, the space is not sufficient for the number of guests and at times we had to wait for a 2 people table. If you arrive 30 min before the end of service, you might not find some items of food. Pool bar: no fresh coconut and drinks and food are overpriced compared to other hotels of the same category. The beach club is not part of the hotel (although it’s inside of it) and guests have to pay extra to sit and enjoy beach services (I.e. drinks) 4 of the 5 days we stayed, we had to request our room to be made when returning to it in the afternoon. It’s a shame that such a beautiful property has little services for the guests.
I had a wonderful stay at Amora Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. I was also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a pool-view room, which made the experience even better. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all of which were delicious. Nora Beach Club, located within the hotel, is another highlight—they host fire shows on Wednesdays and Fridays, and the drinks were excellent. What truly stood out was the staff. Their service is genuinely five-star—friendly, attentive, and always respectful. They made the stay feel very welcoming and smooth. The location is also ideal, especially for sunset views. Right in front of the hotel, you’ll find Tops Daily, 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy, making everything incredibly convenient. Overall, everything about this hotel made for a perfect holiday, and I will definitely be coming back again.
