Sightseeing: Phu Quoc Southside Private Tour By A/c Car And Guide

Andy our guide was excellent and spoke very good English which is not always the case in Vietnam. Only complaint I have is the AD has a picture and mentions Cable Car but the booking doesn’t include the ticket price which is misleading: But overall we were happy with Andy and his driving.

We spent two lovely days exploring Phu Quoc with Linh and can't recommend him highly enough. On our first day we headed north, and lunch at a floating restaurant at Rach Vem was a real highlight. Day two took us around the south, where Linh introduced us to Khem Beach, a surprise favourite and probably the nicest we've seen in SE Asia. Linh is incredibly knowledgeable about the island and full of great local tips. His English is outstanding, which made it so easy to chat, ask questions and learn along the way. He's friendly, relaxed and genuinely lovely to be around, and it felt more like exploring with a friend than being driven around. Thank you, Linh, for two lovely days. If you're visiting Phu Quoc, book him!

A fantastic day, we felt well taken care of from beginning to end. Our guide was friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. We changed things around a bit and nothing was too much trouble. Our guide took photos for us and walked us through lots of the key highlights. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent time with our driver, Ivan. He was punctual and very knowledgeable about the island. We definitely recommend this experience.

I travelled to Phu Quoc with my extended family, total 12 members. It is always a logistical nightmare when you travel with such a big group, but Linh of Phu Quoc Tropical made things easy for me. He arranged all our tours and transportation for the whole 5 days of our tour, including airport pickup and drop, without any friction. Everything was seamless and well arranged. The tour guide has not reviewed any sites we have visited. Minimal interaction. He was mainly a private driver. We have not learn anything about Phu Quoc.

Many of the attractions in this tour or very commercialized- much like Bana Hills in Da Nang. If that’s your style you will enjoy this tour. Ivan was very accommodating and really did his best to make sure we enjoyed our day. We had the best authentic Vietnamese food!! Thanks Ivan!!

Andy picked us up at 9am. Lovely new comfy car with great a/c…provided us with cold bottled water …he took us to various locations around Phu Quoc (Pearl factory, waterfall, gorgeous beach, cable car, kissing bridge etc.) he assisted us with any tickets that we needed. Very knowledgeable about local history. He cared for our every need - would 100% recommend. A lovely day - thank you Andy.

We had a private tour, just my partner and I. Our guide was lovely and the stops we made were great. The pearl farm and the silk factory were a bit too touristy for our liking. Cable car was a highlight, of course, it would have been nice to have a bit more time on the island though. Very interesting tour overall. Thank you!

Great tour of the south part of the island. We loved the pearl farm and relaxing on Sao beach. Most importantly, our driver Tan was excellent. He was super knowledgeable and flexible with the plan to fit our family needs and our kids attention spans! Would highly recommend!

Had a great day with Linh. Started out promptly at our hotel at the arranged time. Linh is friendly and speaks English very well. We enjoyed the day in his air conditioned and clean car. We went to a pearl factory, Coconut Prison, the cable car ride, Khem Beach, a fish sauce factory and finally a pagoda. Everything went smoothly and Linh was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited as well as being having a lot of general knowledge about Phu Quoc island. The only thing I would have changed would have been to turn around immediately on the cable car ride instead of waiting 2 hours for the cable car to start back up. It really depends if you want to spend time in the theme park and the water park on Hon Thum. Everyone has different tastes. I much rather have spent the time on Khem beach. It is absolutely beautiful. The cable car ride and Khem Beach were the highlights for us. Overall a great tour and a great experience. Thank you Linh!

If you are looking for an English speaking guide do not search beyond Duy Lihn . He is competent , knowledgeable, affable and has all aspects of your trip suited for your taste. I would strongly recommend Duy Lihn .

Linh is a fabulous tour guide. He always arrived at our hotel early, spoke good English, and his car was immaculate. We did three tours with him over nine days. His knowledge of Phu Quoc is unmatched, and his myriad insights were very informative. We’ll definitely use him again when we go back next year.

I can’t recommend Linh enough! I had the tour with Linh during off season and heavy floods. Linh ensured that from all the days, we would go on the best day - so after over a week of heavy rain, on tour day we did not experience even one single drop of rain. As a female solo traveller, I instantly felt safe with Linh. He is highly professional and has good sense of humor! He took my wishes into account before the tour and during the tour very well. I appreciated how Linh took time to get to know my interests and altered the tour based on those. I was merely focused on the history side of the Island and South Vietnam. Linh gave and showed me so much even though wide, deep and long history tours were not listed. It’s good to know that Linh’s educational background is in education - you can see that during the tour in the way he shares information and observes your energy level. As others mentioned, Linh has perfect English - you will definitely not miss his points. Linh also has the skill to make the atmosphere comfortable so I felt easy to ask and share my thoughts/wishes. Great experience visiting Phu Quoc . We visited the pearl farm, the great Pagoda Ho Quoq and the main highlight of the island- cable car with its awesome views on the ocean and nearest small islands .

Lihn gave us an excellent tour around the south part of Phu Quoc. We visited some great places and the car was very comfortable and air conditioned. It was nice to have lots of drinking water included. Lihn was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the history of the island and the places we visited, and he was great company too.

The Coconut prison is shocking and relevant, everyone should see it. The pagoda was beautiful, well worth seeing. The cable car is a good experience, but the Water world was half closed, which we weren't told about, and a huge hotel complex is being constructed next to it which detracts from the local beauty of the resort's beach. The Pearl factory and silk factory stops were equally mediocre - you got the feeling you were being whisked through to see how much you would then spend in the shop. The visit to the beach was for an hour, too little time to relax. All in all there is too little time on this tour to enjoy the individual components properly. The south of Phu Quoc is being overdeveloped so that there is little to see on the journey itself. There is plastic everywhere and the rubbish piles are a real distraction.

We had a very nice and interesting day, with Linh as a guide. He can tell a lot about the places we have visited. Which is especially nice, Linh speaks well, intelligible English. We recommend him with 5 stars!

Linh packed so much into our day, but we never felt rushed. We had very little knowledge of the history of Vietnam and Phu Quoc before our tour, but in addition to all the places we visited Linh shared his knowledge and experiences freely, according to our interests. We wish we could stay a little longer and go on more tours with Linh. It was a great day, thoroughly recommend for a hassle free way to see Phu Quoc. Amazing value for money too.

My tour was blah until I met Linh! That is because Phu Quoc is a bit hard to navigate. But, let me start from the beginning. First of all, this is a private tour tailored for you alone or for your group at a beyond reasonable price. So, you will be able to add places you want to see and remove those you are not interested in. This is what i did. Linh picked me up in his brand new car. The biggest selling point for me was his perfect english. After 4 weeks in Vietnam, getting a tour guide i could understand and even laugh with was a breath of fresh air. I ended up doing 4 tours with him -- south island, night food tour, day north shore tour which is NOT TO MISS ( STAR FISH BEACH), and nightlife shows tour and all of them were a blast! The cherry on top is Linh's photography skills! I got a professional photoshoot with the tour! See my pics! I am in love with my time in Phu Quoc. This would not be possible without Linh! Truly, the most knowledgeable and professional tour guide ever! Always there 5 minutes ahead of time! I just can't say enough praises. Linh, thank you for making my stay in Phu Quoc unforgettable! My grandkids will cherish your pictures forever! <3

We have just enjoyed 6 days with Linh as our tour guide and driver. Linh is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Ours kids of 7 and 10 were very fond of him. We toured the north and south of the island with Linh, as well as him arranging tickets for various parks and activities. He helped guide our itinerary depending on the weather and gave us wonderful advice and local inside information. Our guide and driver, Linh, was fantastic. He took us to several different places on the beautiful island of Phu Quoc. Some were busy with tourists, some were more remote. (We LOVED the more remote places). He gave us a lot of information about the island and its history. When we wanted or needed to make extra stops (I.e. for sun block), he found good places for our needs. I 100% recommend his services.
