Red River Tour (Private Tour): 4 Islands Tour By Speedboat

Patience and optimism… it would likely be a full boat of people from different backgrounds. We’re all there to see and experience. If you’re impatient, this may not be for you. It was fun to sea walk, but it does take time depending on whom is doing the paid activities. Then the next area was snorkeling and seeing the reefs and fishes. Next area was swimming for 35 minutes. Then lunch and hang out on the island. Then boat ride back to the bus. Expect to get wet. Our tour guide was Brian. He was informative with the tour and offered as much info he could possibly help us with. He was patient and tried to work with everyone on the boat; for example dropping those who didn’t want to swim at the last island to chill. Was a learning experience. Was fun to do the water activities.

We had a brilliant day snorkeling with Brian from Red River Tours. He took us out to several islands and was excellent the whole way through. Brian was very kind, easy to understand, and explained everything clearly, which made the trip really enjoyable. He was also very focused on safety and constantly checked in with everyone. What we appreciated most was how well he looked after our young boys. It was their first time snorkeling and he made sure they were comfortable, safe, and enjoying themselves, which meant a lot to us as parents. Thanks to Brian, it ended up being a fantastic experience and one we’ll all remember. We’d happily recommend him to anyone, especially families with kids.

Nothing special. The places they take you are very mediocre, crowded. The sea didn’t have good visibility. I didn’t enjoy and don’t recommend.

One of the best and most interesting days in Phu Quoc. full flexibility and openness of Brian was just amazing. Thank you! We had a great 1/2 day snorkelling tour on a private boat today. Brian our guide was fun and friendly and we had a fantastic day. Red River were accommodating to our requests, on time and the whole experience was good for the family. We highly recommend turtle Island and this group to travel with.

I booked a trip by the hotel i lived in. The trio was amazing and the tour guide Bryan was a great person. He looked after us and gave us a great trip with laughter and joy. I do recommend this trip.

I’m not a huge fan of tours but this honestly has to be one of the best on I’ve ever been to! Peter has to be the most sweet tour guides I’ve ever met. Everything from tickets, food, transportation, and activities were planned out perfectly. I’m so glad I picked this speedboat tour, it got all of us from one place to another really quickly and saved us so much time. I loved how there was so many water activities on each island and alternatives if you didn’t want to do the water sport. I went with my whole family ranging from 26-70 years old and there was something to do for everyone. The younger ones did water sports while they took the rest to chill at the beach. I never felt rushed and they always came back and picked us up with the speedboat after. Peter from the beginning was so sweet! He's patient, nice and just a good person. He's a good tour guide and always made sure to look and do a headcount every couple of minutes. Since we had older people in our group, he made sure to stop and wait every couple of minutes. He even serenaded us at the end with his songs, such a great singer!! I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone wanting to explore Phu Quoc! Thank you Peter! We'll always remember and recommend you!

Brian was awesome. He explained everything clearly. Had a great time. The food was good. Snorkeling not very many fish,visibility not good.

We booked this tour with my wife and was an ok experience. We have been picked up from our resort around 8.00 AM and we did the cable cart. Around 10 we went for 1h 30 min of aquatic park (was actually really fun). After that we got picked up by a boat and we went to do some snorkeling for 30 min. After we had lunch (was fairly decent) and after that some we went to an island with a beautiful beach but very crowded. We stayed in the island for about 2 hours and we went back to the boat for another 30 min of snorkeling. Finally the tour finished around 17.00, and at 19.00 we got dropped back to our resort. We paid 45£ each. The experience was overall average. Thing i did not like were: - long awaiting time to get on the boat. - we had to pay for drinks during lunch (lunch was included in the price but not drinks) which was a bit annoying. - Snorkeling masks were a bit cheap and the area of the first snorkeling was dirty with plastic waste. - the island they brought us was very crowded and was too touristic for my taste. The tour operators were extremely nice and caring. Special mention to Brian, our guide. He was very professional but also very funny and made our experience much better!!

We had an excellent tour with Red River tours. Our guide Brian was phenomenal! Everything was so good … the cable car ride over the ocean . Brian spoke to the person incharge for sea walk and arranged .. it was awesome ! He mainly arranged veg food for us.. it was so yummy and so many dishes! The chef cooked really well. I would like to thank the other members of Red River tours too.. All were so helpful and nice ! Overall an awesome tour. In the end Brian sang songs for us in the bus! He sings so well! The red river tour team is thoroughly professional and highly organised. They made the experience so beautiful.. it will stay with us forever.. Tam and Alan we super helpful. At one point when my kid wasn't feeling well.. they helped us with a pharmacist as well and made him comfortable. Very safe and enjoyable to travel with them. Go for it guys!!

We were really able to spend a perfect day. I was able to enjoy snorkeling thanks to the properly planned schedule. If you participate in this schedule, you can look forward to a delicious seafood lunch. The tour was so much fun and relaxing. Tam Hoang was a wonderful tour guide. He was very friendly and very informative. On the the first, we went parasailing, the second island we did snorkeling. The water was super clear and alot of fishes. The third island we relax and the beach, ordered drinks at the bar. The island island we went fishing and little more snorkeling. We felt safe and relax during the whole trip.

Peter and Linh did a great job at being tour guides for us. We have visited 2 snorkelling spots near islands (the last one was really beautiful), one island with actual nice beach, where you could hangout and one aqua fun artificial island near the island. The lunch was tasty. As an unexpected surprise they made a perfect photos with a drone on a sup boards for free besides other photos being taken as a memory during the trip. Remarks: - First stop at the artificial island might be waste of time for some (I didn't took any activity there), it is a pity, there is not a tour without that stop/ - At snorkelling spots, you don't actually get to the island, so if you are not a fan of snorkelling, this tour is probably not for you. - If you don't want to snorkel second time, you can stay at the beach on the island and they will pick you up on the way back, which is super nice.

Amazing trip. Took us to some brilliant places and the lunch provided was delicious. Tam was super helpful the entire day and really helped to make the experience better! Great value for money would recommend for anyone in Phu Quoc

We did a private tour with Larry and it absolutely fulfilled our expectations. He picked the two of us up at the hotel and brought us to the port. There we had a private boat from which we had four stops for snorkelling. The underwater life in Phu Quoc is very beautiful! Larry speaks great English and can give a lot of information on the surrounding. I can only recommend the trip.

We were lucky to get in touch with Larry already on our first night in Puh Quoc. He and his team of english speaking guides made our visit special. We made all our trips with his company and he showed us the best parts of the island with privat driver and proffesional and friendly guides. He helped arrange my 40th birthday to a perfect and memorable day. I defenitly recommend his services to others.

We had the most amazing time with our guide Phong. He speaks English very well and he did everything to give us the best time on the boat. He was very caring with our 2 year old and 9 month old kids and made it possible for us to enjoy our trip. We stopped for 2 snorkel destinations which were nice and on two beaches. Depending on what time it can get quite touristy but it was still a super nice day!

Wow where do I start From the moment I contacted larry via facebook he has been an absolutely amazing guy sending me all the information I wanted. We did 3 tours with larry north south and private island tour, the trips were everything we could have wished for he took us to some of the most unspoilt beaches on phu quoc star fish beach was a highlight for me, the private islands he took us to were breathtaking. Larry brings beer water pop and fruit, and always asked if we require lunch which was included on the private island tour,I wouldn't hesitate to recommend larry, his jokes are funny he speaks perfect english, and his tours were a highlight for us, we travelled with tui a package holiday from the uk and his trips were 50% cheaper than organised group tours see you soon larry xxx

Larry is a great guy, we had a private tour with our family with 2 kids. We wanted to snorkel and see secluded beaches, he gave us right that! Two times we had a whole beach to ourselves, and we went to some awesome snorkeling spots. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

Larry was a fantastic tour guide - full of stories and jokes, making it a fun day out. Snorkeling was good, although there wasn’t an abundance of fish or coral. The beaches we visited were beautiful. Overall, well worth the trip.

My husband booked Larry’s one-day tour as the recommendation of Best Western Premier Sonasea resort. I think the most exciting part of our tour was snorkeling. We had never tried snorkeling so little bit worried at the first, but with Larry’s instructions, everything went so well. I could enjoy and see beautiful coral reefs. The lunch in May Rut Ngoai island was tasty with local food. Others islands was also amazing to explore. Larry is the most ever humor tour guide I’ve met. He always made us laugh by his jokes. We’re also happy when hearing that we’re the first Vietnameses he guided. Hope more and more Vietnamese visitors come to his tour and enjoy Phu Quoc island. Especially, highly recommend to couples for their honeymoon trips.
