We had a great time on the reef snorkel trip! We enquired the day before and were able to book on at short notice for the next morning. We were collected from our hotel and the team were really friendly, enthusiastic and ensured that all attendees were safe throughout! I am beginner level so was a bit worried to begin with but really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Snorkeling at the coral jungle is the ONE THING that I would come back to Phu Quoc for! We took a private snorkeling trip to coral jungle(family of 4 ) with onbird and I have to say that I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED with them. Although my husband and I have been snorkeling whenever and wherever we get the chance, it was the first time we were taking the kids along and were a little concerned about the younger one (8 yo, who can only doggie paddle). The onbird team suggested that a private tour would be better suited for the kids than the small group tour we were planning to join. Although the private tour was pricier than the small group, I'm SO GLAD we decided to book it, because the onbird team went way above and beyond any expectations we had. To begin with as soon as I got in touch with them about booking a tour they made a whatsapp group for me and added 3 of their team members, so that I could ask questions and discuss where and when we want to go snorkeling. They were very prompt and detailed in their responses to all my queries. And also extremely helpful...going so far as to changing the dates at our request, when I fell sick just one day before the booked trip. On the day of the trip the 2 friendly, english speaking guides picked us up from our hotel. They were professional divers and well informed about the corals and marine life. A van took us to a beach with only a few locals around and a tiny shack coffee shop with great coffee. We got On the boat and the guide gave us a small presentation about do's and dont's for the coral site and what to expect, with pics of the corals and fish we would see. They had an ice box full of water bottles, diffrent sizes of life jackets and snorkeling gear on the boat. They took us to a calm beach and familiarized us with snorkeling and shared some tips and tricks. They provided snorkeling gear including fins and ensured we knew how to use them properly. They had a few diffrent sizes for the kids and took care to get them the perfect size. They were very patient with the kids and instructions and didnt push us to hurry, finally moving on to the 1st snorkeling location only when the guids were confident that we were all able to swim comfortably. The coral jungle location was Amaaaaazing!! With lots of corals and lots of colourfull fish. The corals weren't too deep and were clearly visible. The guids were quiet serious about our safety with one guid leading us and pointing out the interesting corals while the secong guide trailed the group ensuring no one was left behind, constantly checking that we were all OK (i was also very impressed with their commitment to the environment, they had a bag and collected any trash that was floating in the sea while we swam) They tied a float to my waist and one to my husband's to use if we get tired and ensured the little one wore a life jacket the whole time, even though he whined about it the whole time. They kept the kids engaged with games and showing them intresting fish and corals. After abouts 45 minuts we took a break on the boat, and talked to the guides about coral bleaching and the culture in our country vs Vietnam. 15 minuts later we swam to the next location....which was just really the other side of the same Island, but had even more intresting corals. Another half an hour of snorkeling and we swam back to the boat that took us to a rustic little resort on a beach. The resort had showering and changing rooms, (neat and clean but don't expect a 5 star hotel),beach beds and a swing. They served us sweet, ripe mangoes and whatever drinks we chose from a menu....which had beer, coconut water, smoothies, all kinds of iced tas and coffee. When we were done there was a van waiting to take us back to the hotel. All in all I was VERY VERY happy with how our trip was conducted! Totally worth the extra amount we paid. Hats off to the onbird team for their professionalism and commitment !! I highly recommend them!! Ps. They also had the option of underwater pictures for a small additional charge, but we chose not to do that.

We really enjoyed our snorkeling tour with On Bird. We had such a good first day at the Jungle Reef, so we booked again for a trip to the southern islands. This is what snorkeling should be - safety focused, environmentally conscious, and great equipment and guides. Many snorkeling tours put too many people in the water without good instructions... Not these guys! Small groups. Practice with gear before visiting the reef. A high level of focus on protecting the environment. The guides were friendly and fun. Each perfect day ended with time at a local beach to relax, reflect, and snack on some mango. If you love coral exploration, or want to become better at snorkeling, these are the people to travel with. A great Phú Quốc experience! 🙂

We had a wonderful day with Colin and Wade. They were fun, safety conscious guides who made sure everyone, whatever their level of ability, enjoyed the day to the full. The reef was stunning, we had lots of time to explore safely. The gear provided was of good quality. All the arrangements went very smoothly and it was just a beautiful experience. Wow!!!!😍 I highly recommend taking both of the tours for the full experience (north and south). I learned a lot from the wonderful instructors (Jack, Ryan, Tanny, Colin) who will also keep you safe and guide you throughout the whole day - they all speak very good English! You'll have enough time to explore the beautiful reef and relax on a beach and they will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. This amazing company is a dream come true for me personally.. they are true ocean lovers and they are doing their best to protect the reef and the marine life around the island. It was a great tour and I even made some friends with the others on the trip. Both tour guides took really good care of us and made sure we knew how to snorkel and kept us safe the whole time. They were also extremely friendly and showed amazing hospitality. I also appreciated how they shared about the sustainability and environmental factors that we should keep in mind when we do these kinds of activities. Would definitely recommend this to others.

We are very impressed by Onbird. Not only does this company offer small group tours to quiet coral reef locations but they also organise these trip with excellent efficiency, I felt like we were in safe hands from the moment we sent the first message. I particularly like that they offer prescription goggles, this made my experience 10x better as a visually impaired person. We went on our first trip in the morning with Colin and Lee, and our second trip was in an afternoon with Jack and Edward. All the tour guides are enthusiastic about maintaining the coral reef, they are approachable, they communicate the safety procedures very well, and have excellent English skills. I felt safe the whole time, and I enjoyed having lots of time in the water to absorb all the amazing corals and fishes. The trip was awesome and out of our expectations! We were so excited to see a lot of corals and fishes. Everything went smoothly and all of the staffs were very friendly and considerate. They monitored the weather beforehand and arranged a suitable time for snorkeling. They even provided nearsighted snorkeling goggles for us. You can also rent wetsuits if the water is too cold. Very thoughtful. We really had a wonderful and memorable time.

Everything went very smoothly and we enjoyed the trip a lot :) Colin and the other guides were very friendly, funny, supportive and clear. Colin was good at balancing both keeping us engaged and giving us time for ourselves. Snorkelling was fun. The schedule was concise without being rushed. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

We all wish we did this earlier in our holiday just so we could have done it again! I read a lot of glowing reviews about On Bird before selecting them. Even then, they still exceeded my expectations. Communication was fantastic beforehand. They ask questions about your height and weight to make sure the gear fits. If you are short-sighted, they can adjust your mask so you can see clearly! All gear is in tip-top condition. But what I really liked was their commitment to sustainability. Careful placement of anchor, discouraging sunscreen, carefully guiding us onto land in single file so as ot to damage the coral etc. Keen focus on safety, with 3 guides for a group of 10. I observed them paying extra attention to those in the group who were not strong swimmers or lacked confidence in the open water. Thoughtful planning with the currents, etc. The whole experience was great from pick up to drop off, with guides keeping us fully informed of the itinerary. Thanks, Jack, Lee, and Edward!! Onbird We're extremely professional, safety conscious and environmentally aware from start to end, sending out useful information before the trip as well as during. The masks and snorkels were high quality and we were given lots of tips for best use. The group was small, with three experienced guides. I learnt so much and loved getting absorbed in the underwater wonderland. They even provided underwater photography as well.

We had an relaxing and safe trip with your company. My family appreciated how calm the guides were in the water and their engaging and friendly personalities on the shore. They even added extra guides so my family of four had two guides showing us all the was to see and taking care of my youngest child. The location we went was a great experience for our kids that had a little challenge that kept them excited. We understand the coral was bleached, but with good practices like the company has we can see that it will return with continuous mindful travel. It was great to see the variety in coral and an excellent opportunity to for kids to see the different types of fish that exist in the water. We enjoyed the information at the start about the different types of fish and then getting see a wide variety of fish including the honeycomb grouper, pink skunk clownfish and a beautiful butterfly fish that followed us. The beach at the end and the endless mango and free drinks was a great touch. For myself personally, I have been snorkelling for the last two years without prescription goggles and often get frustrated, but the company has shown me how I can still enjoy snorkeling with the opportunity of prescription goggles. This is a specialized service and I appreciate this so much you have inspired me to go out and buy a prescription mask. Also the care for kids and making sure they are warm with wet suit showed professionalism with children. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at a reasonable price with that extra attention to detail. We certainly recommend this company as well as will use it again.

This is my first snorkeling experience and it was awesome!! I love how passionate the guides are at explaining not only about safety but also how to protect the ocean with our behavior as well as to let us know what we can see or to look out for beforehand. The guides are always on a constant lookout for all of us and it made me feel extremely safe which is very important for me as a beginner. We thought the whole trip was amazing!! John, Jack and Wave were the best guides. Explained everything so well, checked we were ok and that the snorkeling equipment fit well, they were funny and really helped us have a wonderful day! Five stars for this tour!! The Coral reefs were beautiful and so colourful and the water so clear and easy to see everything! The fruit provided was very nice. The transport was also great and very comfortable. We were lucky to come to the north trip as we were told this has to be stopped after April due to the seasons changing! I’m so glad we got to see it, the corals are beautiful, the way the sun catches them and they light up is incredible! I’ve snorkelled in the Caribbean/Mediterranean a number of times and these corals are some of the best preserved I’ve ever seen! The staff were amazing and super helpful, and the equipment they provide is very good quality (we bought some dive/snorkelling equipment off them before finding out they did the tours too)

My son and I went on this excellent morning snorkeling trip to the coral jungle. The tour guides and other staff were both very professional, well organized and entertaining. And very importantly, we could really hear and feel that they knew a lot about the reef and in every way wanted to look after the reef, the sea and nature in general. The tour can really be recommended.

This was the best guided tour I’ve taken in 6 weeks of travel. Our guides were amazing and taught us everything well. Even those who were less experienced were comfortable by the time we got on the water. The communication was clear and also humorous which was a bonus. There’s literally 3 guides in the water for only 9 people. The reef itself was beautiful. So much interesting life to see. I could have stayed out there all day! Thank you so much for such a wonderful tour.

We are very lucky that we have found OnBird to do a snorkeling tour with - we did the Coral Jungle Reef tour and loved every second of it! This was our first snorkeling experience, and the team really prepared us very well with an introduction session, answered all of our questions and looked after us. The site itself was beautiful, with diverse and healthy looking corals and plenty of fish and other small marine wildlife to observe - and plenty of snorkeling time to do so! The gear is also of super high quality, and they even had prescription snorkeling glasses for my wife. All in all, I can only highly recommend doing snorkeling tours with OnBird, we will certainly do one with them again when we are in Phu Quoc the next time. Very professional Organisation of the trip. The guides where very well trained and made sustainability briefing which i have never experienced before in south east asia. Because of bad visibility we were informed on the evening before that we change the snorkel spot. Also they asked us to not give away the concret GPS data to persevere these spots from over-tourism. Everything was on point! Thank you very much

Best snorkeling I've ever had. The guides Minti and Leon were great, they took good care of us and gave the necessary information in english. The equipment (mask, snorkel and fins) is clean and of good quality. The best part is the coral jungle reef! I saw more kinds of coral and fish than I could count, in different size, colours and shapes. The reef look healthy and the guides really wanted to protect the coral reef and environment. We were a small group of 7, with no other people in the same area. Definitely would recommend.

It was a bit skeptical at first, because the location wasn’t clear from the beginning. Turns out they were looking for the best location for the day given current sea conditions. We were totally amazed at the number of coral and fish that we could see, especially different coral types. James(007) and John are a good team, providing safety and comfort all along. They speak very good English, and have a lot of knowledge about the island and Vietnamese culture in general. Plenty of time for snorkeling and they pointed out interesting things at the bottom. Very nice beach stop with drinks and fruit on the way back. A nice day to remember and a tour to recommend.

Although this was our first time snorkeling, I can confidently say that this will probably be the best snorkeling experience we will ever have in our lives! Everything from start to finish was so smooth, professional, friendly, and mindblowingly magical! Even though I wasn't a strong swimmer, the guides John and James helped all of us feel safe. And the actual coral jungle reef was a magnificent sight! I couldn't help but gasp throughout the entire trip. So many different types of fish and coral, and they all looked so vibrant and healthy! Thank you Onbird for such a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Absolutely delighted by the experience! The coral jungle reef exceeded my expectations, and the two guides were simply phenomenal. Their incredible attentiveness and kindness in assisting my 9-year-old son with his diving mask made me extremely grateful. My son felt completely at ease and confident snorkeling with their guidance. Their humor also made the van ride a breeze! Huge kudos to the entire team for an outstanding trip!

The trip was great. Leon and Lee were super knowledgable, supportive and attentive to needs. They were constantly checking on how things were going thrghout the trip. We especially appreciated how eco thoughtful the trip was. The boat ride limited the amount of pollution, there wasnt any waste that went into the water and the plastic bottles were collected. Additionally we were reminded to be thoughtful about sunscreen chemicals and application before getting into the water. The result is the amazing coral we got to see in an uncrowded space. 8 people was the perfect amount of people to interact and yet enjoy. Thank you very much for a wonderful memory. Excellent snorkelling adventure with Onbird Phu Quoc.  Saw amazing diversity of colourful coral and fish.  Our group was made up of participants with varying snorkelling abilities and John and Leon made sure everyone  felt safe. Equipment was top notch too,  clean and good condition - was even provided with prescription masks . The trip was well organised and done via Whatsapp.  Would recommend.

The guides were excellent in ensuring we all knew the process, how to use the gear properly and safety measures. They were also very educational in describing the new standards with respect to protecting the sea environment and underwater ecosystem.

The team at OnBird was responsive from the moment I reached out till after the tour, and was very helpful with my specific needs. The guides (Leon and Ly) were both professional and extremely kind. It was my first time snorkeling and they helped make it an experience I would not forget in a long time. The company and guides also focus on sustainability and protection of the coral reef which is not a focus for most tour operators here. I did this tour recently and would really recommend it. I was led on the day by Sonny and Captain Jack, who were both really engaging and knowledgeable. They ensured that everyone in the group was safe and comfortable with swimming / snorkeling in shallower water before heading to the reefs. The speedboat and all the equipment is clean and the coral reefs themselves were beautiful. I should also mention the staff behind the scenes, who were very helpful in getting me booked onto a different trip following a mix up on their end regarding my original one. They put in a lot of effort to ensure that I could still do a trip with them and catch my flight in time, which wasn't something they had to do.

Me and my friend wanted to do a snorkeling trip on Phu Quoc and stumbled across OnBird. It immediately caught our interest cause it assures to be eco friendly. When we went to their office and had a chat with Tracy who organized our booking we were informed about the schedule and procedure of the trip and Onbirds values which all sounded very good. On the trip we were in a small group and got transported by a speedboat so the time spent in the water was longer. After a brief but extensive introduction about the rules and equipment and short practice time in the water we drove to the snorkeling spot “coral jungle”. It was amazinggg! So many corals and fish. Shallow and deep bits. Very varied. Also very fun to take out the snorkel to go for a little dive through the corals. No jellyfish whatsoever. Two instructors stayed in the water with us to make sure everything’s fine and nobody gets lost. They even took some underwater pictures for us which look great! In total we spent about 1,5h snorkeling which was totally enough. Afterwards we went to a small “hidden” beach where we got free fruit and smoothies and had time to calm down a bit before going back. Car drive was also very convenient. Good equipment. All the staff members were very kind and the guy who explained the most spoke very good English. Totally recommend the tour!

I just had one of best experience of my life. Snorkelling at coral jungle was stunning and tirelessly watching the unique coral reefs and aquatic life gave a different feeling of amusement and satisfaction. Onbird team is extremely professional and takes care of everything from beginning to the end. I am a basis swimmer and couldn't go into the deep water, but they ensured I do not miss the experience. Its a must do activity if you are in Phu Quoc.
