The guides were so knowledgeable and it was very fun we saw lots of coral and fish which was amazing however very sad to see the rubbish on the beaches but nothing on the guides or the company!!!

Nice trip , the guides were super kind and took a good care of everyone, we had a lot of fun , the corals are amazing and the equipment also is great . I do recommend specially because the crew really cares about everyone 100% of the time to make sure that everybody is safe.

Good overall experience with Obird Tour. The staff were friendly, professional, and the tour was well organized. The boat and service were good, and everything ran smoothly. However, if you have snorkeled in places like Bali before, you may find the coral reefs here less impressive. The water was nice, and there were some fish to see, but the marine life and coral diversity were not as vibrant as some of the top snorkeling destinations in Indonesia. Still, it was an enjoyable day and a good way to explore the islands around Phu Quoc.

OnBird Phu Quoc runs a great snorkeling tour with a strong focus on safety and guest comfort. They picked us up on time from our hotel, transferred us to the harbor, and took our small group of about 10 by speedboat to several snorkeling spots. The first stop had plentiful coral and was the highlight underwater. The second spot was a bit more barren, while the final stop was a beach area shared by other snorkeling groups, with restaurants, restrooms, showers, shaded areas, plus a complimentary fruit plate and beer. What stood out most was the staff. I had a few moments where I felt nervous, and they were always close by, reassuring, and attentive. I always felt safe with them. One recommendation: bring or rent a long-sleeve swim shirt. After snorkeling, we had small itchy welts that likely could have been avoided with better protective gear. Overall, highly recommend OnBird for a safe, professional, and enjoyable snorkeling experience in Phu Quoc. The water was beautiful and warm!

Our guide Patrick was engaging, witty and attentive, making sure that we were comfortable with the equipment and safety requirements. We opted for a private tour which allowed us to dictate the amount of time we spent at the last stop. Fish and coral variety was beautiful, the entire experience was perfect for us and our teenagers!

This operator is what you want when snorkeling in open water. Quality gear, quality boat and careful and caring staff, they care about you and they care about the reefs and areas you are snorkeling in. They understand that things are finite. Mr Bean, Alex and 3rd guide were all excellent, knowledgeable and caring and safety was a high priority. Would love to do more of the tours they offer.

Great snorkeling trip. I had been diving the day before, and was somewhat disapointed, as there was not much to see. During the snorkling trip we saw beautiful corals and some fish. The guide Taddy was great, knowlegable and safety consious. Nice to be in a small group!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I really wanted to write this one! I joined with my parents, both in 60s, and It was their first island-hopping tour. We signed up with a mix of excitement and concern. The day before the tour, the team checked in about our health conditions and even asked for our eyesight details to prepare properly fitting snorkeling gear. Honestly, I’d always found snorkeling equipment from other tours unhygienic and almost brought my own — but this was by far the cleanest and most well-maintained gear I’ve ever seen on a tour! The guides gave detailed and kind explanations about how to wear the equipment, swim, follow the route, and even about the fish and coral living around each island. Since it was a small-group tour, one guide stayed with each team the whole time, constantly checking in and assisting — my parents felt completely safe and were able to truly enjoy themselves. You could really feel how much the staff love Phu Quoc and its nature, and that made us trust and follow their guidance even more. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a hopping tour this much before! Another great point — it wasn’t run by a Korean agency, so we could fully immerse ourselves in the local nature safely and authentically. (Korean-run tours usually just say “please put on your gear and go in,” and that’s it.) The reason I’m leaving such a long review is because I genuinely hope this company continues to grow and succeed, so that more people can experience the beautiful nature of Phu Quoc for a long time to come! If you’re bringing kids, parents, or it’s your first time snorkeling — book this tour without hesitation!

It was a great experience. The Guides were very friendly and equipments were top-notch. Pickup and drop was on time and the speed boat was also good.

Can't praise these guys enough, they think of everything so you don't have to. They even supply top quality, optically correct masks. Their gear is great, makes a huge difference to the experience. Also, they're aware of the environmental implications of what they do, including the harm sunscreen can do to the reef. We learned a lot from John's thorough briefing, and picked up some great tips and hacks. Thank you so much, our trip was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Company has great communication and the day was flawless. We arranged pick up from our hotel to the marina. There was a good emphasis on safety and making sure we were comfortable with the equipment. The location was magical and the sunset at the beach was quiet and relaxing. Absolutely recommend!

Our guide Wave(Quay) was amazing! He made a massive effort to ensure we were informed about the reef and the local biodiversity. He also explained the coral restoration projects and other things being done to try and keep the reefs healthy. The reefs were in very good shape given the environmental pressures on them. We saw plenty of fish as well as some excellent local corals.

The guide help them throughout and gave them the best experience. The corals are beautiful, some of the best I have seen in Asia. Excellent trip with Onbird. We had 4 adults, and 4 children, ages 7-10. Sunny, our guide, was exceptional with the children and even our youngest was able to snorkle. We visited 4 sites in 1/2 a day, which was plenty and just the right amount of time in water and travelling. Coral and fish seen were exceptional.

We booked a private tour with Onbird Phu Quoc and it was an amazing experience. The entire crew was very helpful and encouraging at all times. The choice of snorkeling spots were extremely beautiful, filled with the lush and colourful corals along with a variety of marine species. The services (snorkeling equipments, pre snorkeling instructions, pickup, drop, bathing facilities, island stop with fruits) were impeccable. One individual in our group was a non-swimmer and it was her first time in open waters, and the guides made her feel so comfortable and helped her in such a way that she could enjoy her first snorkeling experience without any fears. We really felt relaxed and rejuvenated after this trip. The splendid beauty and the vastness of the ocean just left us in awe. I have done snorkeling a few times in past in different countries but this definitely was the best experience so far. We had a great experience with Onbird, from start to finish everything was geared to making sure we had the best time. The guide was really knowledgeable and the snorkelling on the jungle reef was very good. Because it was a private trip with just myself and my wife on the boat they tailored it to what we wanted to do to make sure we got the most out of the adventure

The whole excursion was fantastic. A great day in the sea and a super meal. Leon and Mintee looked after us so very well. They pointed out interesting corals and fish and there was an abundance!

Highly recommended snorkeling tour by onbird in phu quoc. It was very easy to get in touch with their booking team on WhatsApp and of course I booked last minute. They got me confirmed the night before and everything was handled very professionally. They picked me up from the Marriot as planned and was super quick and easy to get to the boat. They gave us all the info we needed and I could tell they were very concerned about safety. I am a slightly more experienced diver and I was able to dive a little deeper and get the views I was hoping for without being held back. The reef here is teaming with life. Just wish I had a longer breath hold. The two stops was definitely long enough to get my fill and the time was enough for me for the day. Pickup and 1p drop off at 530p or so. We can highly recommend OnBird as they are professional and don’t do any hard-selling. We have ordered two trips and had two great experiences. We were a bit nervous as two people in the group have never snorkelled before but Jack, Min Tee and Lee took a great care of us - with a proper water and snorkel training in a shallow water. The company kept us updated about the weather many times before the trip so we would know what to expected. It is also very important that they have informed us and followed rules around corals to avoid destruction, even one unintended. We had a great time on both days, didn’t feel rushed, and were well taken care off.

Best Private Snorkelling Experience in Phu Quoc. Our instructor, Duc, was not only very knowledgeable but a great photographer too. He beautifully introduced his island city and wonderfully executed the itinerary we opted for. Each minute was carefully planned by Duc as per our comfort. Each coral site was explained before we started. Enough time was spent at each site to completely enjoy and take in the beauty One of us did not know how to swim and was scared of water. OnBird Team left no stone unturned to make sure our member was comfortable in water and could have the best experience. Big thank you to Minti for not leaving her side. Just couple of suggestions to add to this amazing trip 1) If the Aqua Park can be omitted and more snorkelling sites added to itinerary instead 2) For those travellers who do not carry GoPro or similar, do have options to take underwater pictures, which could be shared or sold post trip as memories. This tour was fantastic from beginning to end, excellent communication and very easy to book. On the day Alex and the team picked us up and absolutely looked after us for the whole trip. Alex was extremely knowledgeable with great English as he explained how the day was going to pan out. The snorkelling was amazing especially the North East reef!. Don't hesitate to book with this company you will have a great day out and be well looked after, the stop at the island at the end for some fruit and refreshments was exactly what we needed after a great day snorkelling. We couldn't be happier with the trip and we all had a great time.

Hello! The snorkelling trip was a highlight for us! Despite the less-than-perfect weather; we were glad to have experienced the snorkelling adventure and going up close and personal with the beautiful fishes and corals in the waters of Phu Quoc! Although few in our group are strong swimmers/ snorkelled before and the very fact we have 3 young children amongst us; we were grateful for Kevin and Jason’s professionalism in guiding us and ensuring our safety whilst enjoying ourselves throughout. We will highly recommend a snorkelling experience with Onbird even for non-swimmers and families with little children! Make your phu quoc experience an unforgettable one!

Onbird were excellent from start to finish. Booking was easy but thorough to ensure they fully understood our party’s needs. Safety was paramount whilst not inhibiting any fun. All abilities were catered for and really looked after to help them to build confidence. The snorkelling sites we visited were amazing with a huge variety of corals and fish. Thus is a definite must do when you visit Phu Quoc and we would thoroughly recommend On Bird. It is definitely worth paying a little extra to get a tailored experience without the crowd herding you get with so many other operators.

Booked a private tour for our group of 4 with Alex and we absolutely enjoyed our time! Alex is professional and extremely knowledgeable about the marine life here in Phu Quoc. Prior to snorkeling, the shared with us unique facts about all the fish and various types of coral reefs we would see. He was also very thorough in teaching us how to use all the snorkeling gear and even took us to shallow waters to get comfortable with the equipment. We spent a total of 5 hours island hopping and snorkeling around different islands. At the end of our tour, we stopped at love island to enjoy some complimentary drinks and fruits. Would highly recommend for first timers in Phu Quoc!

Brilliant private tour We had an excellent half day trip with Onbird today. We are in our early 60s and wanted a tour that would meet our needs, especially for my partner who was very anxious about snorkeling. The level of kindness, care and patience we had was amazing. We enjoyed every aspect of the day so much and really appreciated our tour guide Captain Jack Sparrow who was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed the snorkeling, the fish and coral was lovely, the boat trip, the stop at love island and even the drive to the harbor gave Jack an opportunity to share his local knowledge with us. Onbird tours arranged for my family a half day tour of South Phu Quoc and a full day tour of North Phu Quoc inclusive of driver. Tracy was quick to respond when were unable to contact our boatman and guide at Dragon Beach for our return trip. Our tour included the cable car, dinner at a local restaurant, night market, Rach Vem, Dragon Beach and pepper farm. I would highly recommend Onbird tours if you drop by Phu Quoc.

A fantastic company to snorkel with. We had such a nice time with Can our snorkeling instructor. We were a group of 10, with 2 children. Positives - great English, instructions pre and during tour - great equipment, instructions and training - perfect amount of time on each of the various snorkel spots - refreshments, fruits and snacks all were provided and great - Can and other instructors personally took the little ones in the water to ensure they or the adults don’t miss out. All in all a great tour, highly recommended. Our only regret was we didn’t do a longer tour

The guides are very professional and they give you detailed explanations if you have not snorkelled before. They love nature and coral reefs, and they pay attention to respect the environment. The equipment they provide for snorkel is high quality. Even if it slightly more expensive than other tours, it is worth.

Knew about OnBird when I was searching for a diving/snorkeling tour in Phu Quoc for our holiday. My wife & I both liked the idea of crowd-avoiding tours (as we wanted to have a break from our normal busy city life), thus we chose OnBird private snorkeling tour for 2 on a Thursday noon. Several things that we liked in this tour: - Tour operator gave us reasonably advices (regarding weather, time to depart,...) 1 week before tour date just to make sure that we would have the best experience from the tour. - Friendly & helpful guide - Tuấn Anh - thank you for helping me to avoid a parking scam at An Thới Port - Beautiful coral reefs - There was a quick but throughout training session, which helped us, as beginners, have a better understanding and safer practices while enjoying the activity. - Although we booked tour for 2, on our boat there were 1 guide/trainer and 3 crew members > made us feel safer in case something wrong might happen. - Clean & high-quality equipment. Our guide even prepared anti-fog solutions for clearer viewing experience. - Images & videos from Onbird's GoPro. So even if we did not bring waterproof phone cases, we still got amazing footages from their pro camera. Things that we felt a bit uncomfortable: - Boat engine smoke smell bad when idling - Mây Rút Trong Beach where we enjoyed fruits was not clean enough & quiet > there was another teambuilding tour with loud music when we arrived + beach was filled with plastic/trash Overall, this was still an amazing experience & the team was professional. Next time, we will look forward to experiencing their scuba diving tour to enjoy the beauty of Phu Quoc coral reefs once again.
