Half-day Snorkeling Experience In Phu Quoc Island (Max 12)

Our guide, Wee Wee was fabulous. Contacted us before we went to introduce himself and say what he would be wearing at pick up. The following day my friend realised she had left her hat in the vehicle so Wee Wee had it sent by a grab to the airport. The snorkeling equipment was very good quality. The coral is brown, not colourful like I hoped. There were lots of fish to see. The snack/meal was excellent. The best mango I have ever tasted. All in all great value for money and a lovely day out.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Our tour guide, Vu, was so much fun and had great English. The spots we were taken to were beautiful and we ended the trip with a picnic on a small island with no one else around - stunning scenery and great snacks provided too! Would definetly recommend.

We had a really fun day on the snorkelling trip! We got 2 chances to snorkel in beautiful, safe water. We saw an abundance of different fish - it was stunning! We also got to chill out on a pretty, small island. Vu is a fantastic tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the food provided as well! We highly recommend this tour :)

A fantastic tour led by friendly local tour guides who are extremely knowledgeable and provide great advice on special snorkeling spots to help you experience as much of the natural beauty as possible. The overall atmosphere is also very relaxed and cheerful, and if you like, you can learn more about the country and the people living on the island. Special thanks go to Tongh’s wife, who prepared the food and fruit.

It was a truly wonderful trip with our tour guide Tongh! We stopped at two different spots to see coral reefs and colorful fish. 😊 He put a lot of effort into making sure we had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious and was prepared by his wife. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and everything was very well organized. ☺️

We had such a fun trip. Vu picked us up from our hotel , he was chatty and fun from the beginning making us feel very relaxed. He had lots of local knowledge he shared with us and answered all our questions. The snorkelling was great, we saw loads of fish, the water was warm and crystal clear, so beautiful. He brought delicious food which we enjoyed and as much beer as we could drink!!

A very complete half day tour. All ran very smoothly and on time. Visited two very good islands for snorkelling and one extra for a swim and snacks.

Vu is a great host and everything ran smoothly and on time. The islands visited were very good snorkelling locations with lots of coral and fish. As we are not beer drinkers we put in a special request for soda and it was on the boat. If you are looking for a half day tour this is a good choice.

The good: our driver spoke English, there was only one pick-up stop after us, good snorkeling location with clear water and almost no trash. We had ample time to explore each site. Lunch was good. The not so good: The van had weak air conditioning, there was no toilet/changing facilities at the spot where we boarded the boat. Our driver had to pay a local woman 5k so my wife could change in her bathroom and she didn’t seem too happy about it. When we returned a member of our group tried to wash the sand off of her feet using a bucket next to the walking path and the same woman screamed at her. The small island we ate lunch at had no facilities either. While the masks and snorkels provided were of good quality, there were no fins for our feet. One woman in our group thought they were required by law to provide them. The water was so calm where we were that fins weren’t really necessary but some of the weaker swimmers may have liked to have worn them.

I had a great experience with Vu and his team, especially considering the unexpected challenges.On the day of our planned snorkeling experience, I woke up with food poisoning. Despite this, they were incredibly kind and flexible, allowing me to reschedule for the following day without any issues. I truly appreciated their understanding and support. I was also very grateful that they arranged transport for me, even though I was staying further north on the island. That extra effort made everything much easier. The snorkeling itself was wonderful. It was a lovely half day experience where I got to see beautiful coral reefs, swim in the clear sea, and enjoy a nice lunch. I can definitely recommend this experience to others!

Vu and the crew were great, knowledgeable, helpful and funny. I have a 10 yo and 7 yo so the half day was perfect for my family so the kids didn’t get too tired and grumpy. We loved the fact that it was a small group of 11 people and much more personable than the larger tours and no waiting around for others to get ready. Picked up from the hotel, to the speed boat for a quick trip to the first snorkel spot for a 45 minute snorkel before moving to a new location for another 45 minutes of snorkeling before parking up on a nice little island for a light lunch of delicious local foods and free time to relax on the beach, do more snorkeling or have a few beers with Vu and his team. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

Brilliant trip start to finish - Vu was the best tour leader and he had an excellent team. Well communicated and felt very "local". Highly recommend.

My daughter and I had a great experience. Our tour guide Vu was great. We were first to the snorkelling spots and had only 11 people on the tour which meant things flowed well. Any appreciation from my daughters went away after Vu’s explanation of the locations and safety etc. We had a great lunch on a beach to finish. The tour length was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this to other families.

This is a fantastic half day tour of a few islands with two snorkelling stops. Our family enjoyed the small group size and the tour guide Vu gave us plenty of information.

Vu and his captain were wonderful tour guides! We had such a wonderful adventure and saw two beautiful coral reefs! A snack of spring rolls and fruit was provided along with some beverages on a gorgeous beach. A very private experience, pretty much just you and the 12 people on the boat, super cool not “touristy” 10/10 recommend

What an incredible morning!! Our great tour guide Vu took us on a fun boat ride to 2 amazing spots for snorkelling, then stop at a beautiful beach for delicious food and drinks, all included. I would highly recommend this trip, it’s totally undersold I’m the description, us and our 3 teenage kids(17,25,13) , loved it!!

We had such a fantastic time on our half‑day snorkeling tour! Our guide was incredibly helpful, friendly, and wonderfully organised from start to finish. He took us to two amazing snorkel spots with plenty to see beneath the surface. It was a bit of a shame about some local rubbish floating around but this not a reflection of our enjoyable experience. Lunch was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we needed after a morning in the water. The secluded island lunch stop was so memorable. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and a great way to spend half a day. Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful way to spend a morning! Our guide, Wee Wee, had great communication, was on time, friendly and helpful. We were part of a small group and had the most amazing time. Snorkelling was fab, snacks and drinks very generous and transport (both pick up and boat) were great. Highly recommended half day tour :)

Lovely experience. Guide was easy to communicate with. Everything was well organised, beautiful snorkelling spots and a nice fresh lunch.

Don't expect any luxurious or clean washroom facilities. We had other options from our hotel, however I decided to book this one because the price was so much better. You get what you paid for. Firstly, you will be in a small group with around 15 people. You are picked-up by a bus that takes to you what looks like a very local fishing boat dock. The speedboat will take you to the two locations to go snorkeling. Note: if the water is choppy and you are sitting at the back of the speedboat, be prepared to be soaking wet before you go snorkeling! The three stars I gave are really for the snorkeling itself, which was fun and amazing to swim with the fish and see the corals. After snorkeling you will go to a beach (with garbage) and have a picnic with beer, water, fruit, and vietnamese spring rolls. The spring rolls are tasty, but it's not a lunch or anything, and I think the tour guide drank most of the beer! Afterwards, you will go back to the same boat dock and bus back. The washroom facilities at the boat dock are questionable, be prepared to hold it for the entire trip. I recommend to eat a big breakfast and skip lunch until you return.

Great trip - small tour group of 8 and great guide ( Vu) ! Fabulous locations for snorkelling and delicious picnic lunch which Vu kindly provided. Non touristy and would recommend- boat skipper also fun!

I wanted to go snorkelling in a small group and looked at the options on display in the hotel, by chance we booked another tour with this company and were so pleased that we booked this snorkelling tour through them. We were collected from the hotel promptly, when we were held up by traffic our guide Vu ( Superman) directed the traffic and solved the chaos. Vu was very informative on the minibus to the harbour where we picked up the speedboat. We visited 3 islands in total where we saw coral, fish and had a picnic on the beach of the last island. Snorkelling masks were provided, both the skipper of the boat and Vu were very helpful and good fun throughout our trip. You may pay a little more for this trip but I promise you it is well worth it.

Perfect tour if you’re not looking to spend a whole day out. Our tour guide Vu was super funny and gave us a clear itinerary with options to tailor it to our liking (since there were only 4 of us on that day). You travel by speed boat to 2 different islands to snorkel and then a 3rd to relax on the beach and have some lunch. More than enough time was provided at each stop and there was sooo many beautiful fish and coral to see

We had a really great day on the Jeep tour with Vu as our very friendly, helpful and expert guide ! We recommend this tour as a great way to see parts of Phu Quoc we would otherwise never have seen .

A great snorkelling experience. Snorkelled at two islands and saw many colourful corals and fish. Lunch/snacks on the beach was nice.

The tour was perfect lenght and tour guide Vu was the best! As there was only a few people besides us, it felt like a private tour.

This tour was great! Vu was such a friendly and funny guide. We were looking for a half day tour, but after research they are hard to come across from the local providers. They might be cheaper, but in large groups, and all seem to take you places you didn’t want to go, wasting precious time. This tour picked us up just after 9am, then a handful of others, went straight to the boat, and straight to 2 different snorkeling locations, about 45 minutes at each. One was more for the coral, then the other nearby with bigger fish. After the smiling we went to a secluded beach, and the guide had brought us rice paper rolls for lunch, and beers to relax for a while. We were back to our resort near Phu Quoc town by about 2:30. Well worth booking this tour if you just want snorkling and don’t want to waste all day.

We went on the half day snorkel tour with our guide Thong and we had a wonderful time! Thong was an excellent and charismatic guide. He took us to some amazing snorkelling spots. We saw many different types of coral and beautiful fish. We really appreciated the time relaxing on the beach as well. We found the half day tour to be the perfect amount of time for us to enjoy the reefs without feeling too rushed.

This was perfect for us as we didn't want a whole days snorkelling. Communication was clear regarding pickup. They picked us up only a 5 minute walk from our hotel in Sunset Town and took us to our boat, which was comfortable and fast. They group was small and the guide spoke very good English and was very friendly. We went to 2 snorkelling locations and ended on a quiet little beach with delicious fresh fruit, spring rolls, nuts and drinks provided. They gave us plenty of time to explore at each location and relax and snack. We have been snorkelling at a few different locations around the world and for sealife, this was not the best. There were not many fish, however the coral was beautiful and had a lot of variety to look at. We really did enjoy looking at the different coral and the tour was still worth it.

The tour lenght was perfect & Vu was a great person. As the crowd is pretty small, you can get a lot out of the trip. We enjoyed ourselves a lot!

Great trip if you are looking for a short half day snorkelling around a couple of islands. The speedboat is not for the faint hearted 😳. Our guide Vu was fantastic and never stopped smiling. Highly recommend
