Half-day Motorbike Tour In Phu Quoc Island

An absolutely fantastic, varied and enjoyable excursion! The motorbike tour was a wonderful experience, made even better by our enthusiastic and incredibly helpful guide, who shared lots of interesting information along the way. The lovely group of fellow travellers also made the experience extra complete. A fantastic day that we will remember with great pleasure. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing, definetly gives you an authentic experience of Vietnamese life on Phu Quoc. Our guide Vu, is the best on the island! We had so much fun with him. It was just my husband and I on the tour so our tour guide made an extra stop for us to let us try local coconut and fruit on the beach. The drive through the jungle was thrilling and beautiful. If you’re feeling brave I would recommend this excursion 1000%.

Excellent experience and really good value for money!

Fantastic experience. Booked a private boat island hopping tour for my partner and he absolutely loved it! Our tour started at around 1pm and we arrived back at the pickup point just before 7pm. Drinks and lunch were provided on the tour, they prepared a BBQ for us at the second stop. We had prawns, pork & chicken wings, also had water & beers for us. They brought us to a cliffside for the BBQ and I thought that was such a cool experience. Our tour guide Vu was spectacular - really funny guy, speaks good English, super hospitable. We had fun on the tour with him. Since it was my partners birthday Vu bought for him a cake, we thought that was really kind of him (my partner loved it). Vu made the whole experience really enjoyable and prepared a great tour for us. The tour included 2 snorkelling stops, both beautiful but second one was much better because the reef was much bigger and there were more variety of fish there. Last stop was on a small island with a shop you could get food/drinks from if the BBQ wasn’t enough (BBQ was enough for us, we only had more beers at the last stop). We arrived at the last stop near sunset so we watched the sunset on the beach chairs on the island. The beach at the last stop is really shallow, not much to swim but you could just sit/float in the water if the snorkeling wasn’t enough. Overall would highly recommend this tour so you don’t have to be in a crowded boat. You really can have a chill experience with this tour, they don’t rush you and prioritise that you have a good time. Shoutout to Vu for being a 10/10 tour guide! Hope to see you again next time :)

Tour guide, Jack, was awesome! We had a delightful day even though it was raining heavily. Jack made us feel comfortable and safe the whole trip.

Greatest day on the Island. Weather was awful but Tong and his co driver were amazing. Knowledgeable, flexible on itinerary, very funny and incredibly safe considering weather. Highly recommend 👍🏽

hiii! great tour overall! amazing guide! amazing drivers! spectacular views! beautiful country! the food was amazing!! BUT it is important for people to know that you need to be an expert motorcycle driver for this tour. you have to be comfortable to drive on the main roads in vietnamese traffic and in the jungle. it says on the description that if the guide thinks you are not a good enough driver that they will find a driver for you. however, when you get there, it seems to be expected that you will drive your own motorcycle. this tour is definitely not meant for people without a license or without an adult that is a confident motorcycle driver that they can ride on the back of. it is important that you message and confirm with the guide prior to your tour so your guide has enough time to contact the extra drivers. we did not know any of this and the guide had to contact all the drivers in realtime. also, our trip was closer to 7 hours than 5 or 6. also for people with motion sickness issues, we also went on two short boat rides that were not listed in the description. overall amazing day and would do it again!

This was a great trip, with Jak being and amazing guide who is very knowledgeable about the area. However I did get tick bites while in the forest which have resulted in Lymes Disease. I would advise covering up arms and legs during the ride through the forest. It was an amazing experience enjoyed the pepper farm too. We were provided with a bug meal with various different dishes which were all very good. I would definitely recommend but cover up.

Jack our tour guide was wonderful. He was happy to tell us about life on Phu Quoc and answer all our questions. The bikes are really safe and easy to ride. Expect to ride on the roads as well as a dirt road through the jungle. Lunch was pleasant at a fishing village. Highly recommend and much better than sitting in a car or bus.

We were picked up from the hotel in a USA Army jeep. The start itself was exiting. The guide chew chew was professional and knowledgeable, very patient and polite. After arriving at their site, the guide tested each member with bike , to assess their ability to ride the bike. Every body in the family enjoyed the ride, especially the off road trail , for 14 kms. The guide taken care, while it was raining, providing water bottles, etc,. And at the finish stage in a speed boat to nearby island for swimming with lunch. Overall never miss this experience, once you are in this island.

We had an incredible day with our guide Thong exploring Phu Quoc on motorbikes! Super friendly and taught us heaps about Vietnam and its history. We had lots of laughs and great conversations. With so many options for tourists on Phu Quoc Island, this tour was my absolute highlight. Our guide (Vu) was absolutely brilliant. He made us feel safe, was very knowledgeable about the island and made the day fun and relaxed. I didn’t have any experience on any form of motorbike and was a little nervous how I would go on the crazy streets of Vietnam. After a short training run, vu gave me the confidence that I was ready and helped me along the way. There was certainly challenges but the ride through the rainforest and stops on the floating restaurant (where we had a yummy lunch with local seafood options) and at Starfish Beach were absolutely wonderful and worthwhile. I definitely recommend this tour for those that want a true Vietnamese experience of riding scooters in the country that has more scooters than people, this is the perfect opportunity to do it on a tropical island with less traffic than on the mainland and see amazing destinations.

This was the best trip that I booked while visiting Phu Quoc. It was exciting and fun to tour the island on motorbikes and Vu, our guide, was awesome. Rain forest, starfish beach, and a chance to experience riding in Vietnam were some of the highlights. If you want to tour the island in a more exciting way, instead of a bus or car, this is absolutely the way to go. Highly recommended.

This is an interesting experience about Phu Quoc which is not just beach and sun and food. Biking thru the jungle, fishing village and the bustling city center is quite exhilarating. No need to be a seasoned biker (I’m a newborn biker) to enjoy the tour thanks to our guide Wee Wee. We also learn a lot about the island, its native plants and the peppercorn. Thanks Wee Wee and the group (we are lucky to be with very nice people) .

We did this tour with our young adult kids with some trepidation, as both kids & my wife had never ridden a scooter before. The guys took there time to give some practice & guidance, both kids were confident they could manage, wife decided to hop on the back of my bike. Our guide We We took his time at a slower pace, you do ride through traffic, but the biggest challenge is going through the unpaved dirt tracks in the forest, we had some moments throughout the journey, stuck bikes, drops etc All was handled sympathetically. Lunch was great & the information was interesting. Tour lasted over 7 hrs for us, due to slower pace, but we all enjoyed it & it’s a great way to see the island.

Vu was the perfect guide to go on this trip with! If you are looking for a local trip that gives you invite into the history and beauty of Phu Quoc this will be for you~ The length of the trip and activities was perfect. It was a nice blend of beaches and site seeing. It felt like going on a trip with a friend instead of a stiff tour. Vu was flexible and fun and I would recommend him to everyone!

The group size was great and we all got along well, it was a really fun day! Vu was a great guide and very accommodating. We enjoyed all the stops along the way. Overall definitely a great way to see some of the island and eat some seafood. Our only "issues" were that we didn't really have a good opportunity to swim which was listed as part of the tour and I think one of the stops was swapped out for a short tour through VinWorld so it would have been nice to get an accurate itinerary/have it match the booking but again still a great tour. It also ran a little longer than it said it would but we did get caught in the rain. Some of the terrain was challenging due to the rain but still fun, just a heads up! Thanks Vu!

Took the guided tour. Wee Wee was our guide through the jungle and to the Starfish Beach. Delicious and fresh lunch. Scooters were also very good. We recommend it.

What a thoroughly fun day out. Vu was the perfect host, very easy to get on with and caring. It was my first time on a scooter, its not for the faint heartedly the town traffic is very different to handle than what we face in the UK. That said once out on the open road it was pretty amazing. We had some great stops along the way including star beach, pepper farm and a drive past Grand World stopping for an iced coffee en route to take in Cambodia. A fantastic no stress day with an incredibly charismatic host! Thanks for a lovely time!

What a fantastic day out! Vu, our guide, was great, we had a blast! Not having driven a motorbike just about 30 years, I was very nervous, but it was so easy and sooo much fun! Highly recommend, just do it, it is even for people who never rode on a motorbike before. We went up north and saw some beautiful places. The ride through the jungle was fabulous, and lunch really yummy. We will now probably hire our own motorbike and explore a little bit more of the island by ourselves, having gained some confidence on this tour. Thank you, Vu!

My partner and I had such a great experience exploring PHU QUOC and learning about its diverse regions— from the preserved natural forest, beaches, and even to the peppercorn farms. Jack was a great English speaking tour guide who was very easy to get along with. Through Jack, we witnessed how local communities work together in phu quoc which was very beautiful. He also had some crazy life experiences which he was very willing to share about, if asked. He also patiently taught us how to drive motorbikes, even though it was our first time driving them! We had the pleasant and exciting experience of driving around the island thanks to him. You will not have a bad experience booking with this tour, and especially with Jack. Thank you, Jack!

We had so much fun on this tour. First time riding a scooter for us and we picked it up quite quickly. Keep in mind you do go on the road with traffic and off road but it was still manageable. We loved stopping to talk to the local children who were fascinated with us. Starfish beach was a highlight! Even though it poured with rain at times, we go lucky on this day and found loads of starfish. Lunch was delicious and staff at the restaurant were lovely. Vuu was very funny and made the day enjoyable. I would go again!

Vu was our tour guide and we had so much fun. It only ended up being my boyfriend and I on the tour so we went at our own pace. Vu has so much knowledge and was so kind and friendly. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get out on a motorbike and see other parts of Phu Quoc you wouldn’t see on a bus or boat tour. We were lucky enough to only get rained on a little and in no way did it ruin the tour.

Went along with 3 mates and had an amazing time with Vu! We were all beginners on the bikes, and he was able to teach us in no time then took us on a great tour of the northern part of the island. We rated this trip for the value and the experience. We saw some awesome locations and the driving was so much fun! Vu spent a lot of time with us, and we felt like he really loved being there. We would recommend this as the first thing you do in phu quoc!

Relaxing tour on motorbike to the north of the island. The half day tour was perfect organized in time to visit interesting and pleasant locations without a rush and still have the rest of the day to chill on your own. Jack was great tour guide well prepared for each situation.

We had an enjoyable motorcycle tour of the north. The weather wasn’t on our side with heavy rain at times but our friendly guide Jack was flexible in looking for other options when the muddy forest road was unavailable. We had a yummy lunch at Starfish beach. I wasn’t keen to drive the bike so I went on the back of the bike. We enjoyed the trip to the pepper farm and it was great to see some of the more rural and remote parts of the island as well as glimpsing the newer Vin Wonders area.

Wee wee was our tour guide, he was very nice, friendly, caring and charismatic. Even though it was raining heavily in the morning we still managed to have a great day, the motorbikes were easy to ride even if you are a beginner and the sights we saw and places such as the starfish beach we went to were amazing. Would definitely reccomend.

My wife and I had an amazing day with Huy. We had previously ridden bicycles, but not motorbikes. However, in no time we were confident riders. Despite rain some of the day, we still got to see a pepper farm, ride jungle roads, and have a beautiful lunch at Starfish Beach.

My son (20) and I really enjoyed the half day motorbike tour. Wee Wee was a fantastic tour guide, good English, excellent knowledge of the sites, & very helpful throughout our experience. This was such a unique & amazing experience driving through fishing villages, through backroads, & cruising around the island with the other locals on motorbikes. Lunch was served, very good food. I highly recommend this activity while visiting Phu Quoc.

Our guide Vu was absolutely amazing! He was so friendly and funny as well as caring and extremely knowledgeable. We had a lot of rain on the day and he was worried we would be unhappy but we had so much fun. After riding through the town we went to a Pepper farm and tasted the freshest and sweetest Papaya ever as well as the pepper they grew there. The trip out to Starfish beach was incredible and the opportunity to swim was perfect. Lunch was at a floating fishing village and Vu’s recommendations were so delicious. I would highly recommend this tour and Vu made it perfect!
