Today's experience with onbird was a very enjoyable experience. I appreciated they cared a lot about safety in the water for both the people and the coral. The images before you start were wonderful, so we knew what to look out for. We had Kevin as our group leader and he was lovely and caring regarding our safety and experience. One thing I would recommend for the company to benefit both the customer and company, is to have someone from onbird tour record people throughout the snorkelling experience and sell this as a package. This way the customers have videos and photos to look back on and the company can make more profit to go towards the coral farms and staff.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We had a half day snorkling with our 2 boys of 10 and 12 years old, neither had ever done it before. The guides were beyond amazing with the boys, helping them and instilling confidence the whole time (they did their job because the boys became confident very quickly even in deep open water). Our group was small with 10 of us in total so nice and small, and you don;t spend masses of time travelling on the boat. Our oldest son has a condition which causes muscle weakness and we made the company aware before hand and they quietly and descreetly spoke to us before we got on the boat to reassure us they would be at my sons side at all times; they did this but without being overbearing, but always there. They took extra care ensuring that he got on and off the boat with care and consideration.

Our snorkeling experience with Onbird in Phu Quoc was absolutely outstanding! We have snorkeled multiple times before all over the world, but this tour truly stands out. Everything from their top-notch equipment and professional guides to their strictly eco-friendly way of exploring the reefs was excellent. What was truly commendable, though, was how they handled our family. We had four senior citizens who had never properly snorkeled before, and a three-year-old who we didn’t believe would be able to participate at all. We still don't know how they did it, but the guides managed to get every single one of them snorkeling in the water for a full 1.5 hours! It was beyond belief. We are incredibly grateful to Onbird for giving our entire family the chance to experience the ocean and see the beautiful marine life together. To top it all off, the tour ended with a stop at an amazing little island for the sunset, which was absolutely divine. They even provided fresh fruits and drinks for all of us to enjoy while taking in the views. If you are going to Phu Quoc, booking with Onbird is an absolute must!

OnBird's commitment to marine stewardship (reef safe sunscreen, horizontal in water, don't touch coral) is REALLY appreciated. I've been on tours in the Philippines where they are just destroying the marine environment and don't care. Having the large book showing which coral and fish we would see was also very informative and helpful. The variety and color of native species is not as exciting as other parts of the Gulf of Thailand (here there unfortunately are no giant clams, no blue starfish, no feather duster worms), but it is still nice to have a day out on the water. Our lead gude Colin was fantastic, very communicative and easy to understand with excellent English. The pre-snorkel instruction and gear check stop were perfect for my beginner-intermediate girlfriend and made her feel MUCH more comfortable in the water later, thank you! Hotel transport took a long time but that is because Phu Quoc is a long narrow Island.

I can’t swim, so I was a little nervous, but Tommy stayed with me and my family the entire time and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. We had an amazing snorkeling experience in Phu Quoc! I really appreciated that the tour was in a very small group, which made the whole trip feel personal and relaxed. The snorkeling spots were not crowded at all, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful underwater world without the massive groups you find elsewhere. The snorkeling sessions were quite long, giving us plenty of time to explore, and the guides were incredibly informative. They gave clear instructions, especially helpful for beginners, and always made sure everyone felt safe and confident in the water. Duc and the guys were great. They take safety seriously and the whole trip was well coordinated and everything was explained clearly down to the last detail. I highly recommend them and it was a fun trip.

I could write a very long review about how great OnBird is, but I will keep it brief. From the moment I first inquired to the moment they dropped me back at my hotel in Phu Quoc, their service was exceptional. They created a WhatsApp group with five team members just to assist with my booking and answer my questions; their communication was flawless throughout. They are not a typical tour company, they are coral conservationists on a mission. They educate you while on the boat and give you undivided attention. They also maintain a large enough team to monitor everyone in the deep sea, ensuring you feel completely safe. I had a great adventure with the OnBird team and I can't recommend them enough. They are the best. Period!

Me, my husband, and our 7 year old son had such a nice day. First, we got picked up at our hotel and then picked up a few other tourists as well. Then we hopped on the boat and went to the first island, where they showed us the basics of snorkeling. It was helpful because it's my son's first time snorkeling. Then off to the second and third islands for the main part: snorkeling. The water wasn’t super clear, but there were lots of fishes and corals. What made it really good was the staff arrangement. Each staff is assigned to only 2-3 people to look after, so we felt safe the whole time. Last island, they gave us a free drink. Then they drove us back to the hotel. All in all, it was a great tour, really well put together. Would totally recommend it.

This was truly an amazing tour. The guides took extra care and time to explain how to snorkel correctly and how to minimise damage to the coral during the adventure. They were friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. It was clear that they actually care about the eco system and they are not out to exploit it for the sake of tourism. We went to off the grid locations and had high quality gear which helped make this experience the best snorkeling tour we have done (have done snorkeling quite a few times) including Australia.

They were very professional. Gear was good. Before we started, they gave us a very thorough briefing and demonstration of the equipment. They also told us what we'd see in the waters (complete with pics). No other snorkeling tour I went on ever did that. I also like that they're very eco-oriented.

I haven’t seen so many different kinds of coral and reef underwater before. The best thing is we are so close to the coral. Also, I saw jellyfish and it was really cute. This experience is better than my snorkeling in Similan and Phi Phi Islands. The instructions are very clear and all the guides are very nice.

My experience snorkeling in Vietnam was amazing, there are a lot of things I wanna talk about in this review Firstly, the training was efficient and easy to grasp, they taught us how to use the fins, the snorkeling mask along with what to do if you needed to do if you needed help, it was clear and concise Secondly, they picked the best spots to see the coral, there were table coral, bubble coral and so much more. We got to see underwater creatures too, like Sea Urchins and Clownfish.I was amazed when I saw a large school of fish that passed us. With all of these, I can say, that this experience is worth the pay, and it’s worth your time as well, and I’m sure that everyone will enjoy it too.

The instructors are very patient and they are all passionate about their job andddd most importantly, ocean conservation~~ 🌊 Snorkeling time at each spot is sufficient and equipments are clean 🥽 Even though we are not advance swimmers, the instructors provided us with the buoy and led us to the place where there were lots of corals, fishes 🐠 and little cute crabs 🦀 and we can still enjoy the snorkeling 🤿 Big thanks to the crew ~~ For sure I would consider joining OnBird again, and also recommend to my family and friends. It was a 5/5 experience!

It's been an amazing experience with the OnBird team as we took the Phu Quoc snorkeling experience to Coral Mountain and Half moon Reef. A very big Kudos to the guides Colin and Ryan, with the rest of the team have been very accommodating, detailed and helpful according to our respective experience from the moment we were pick up from the hotel and drop off back at hotel. The journey was not rushed through as we get to spend about 45-50 minutes snorkeling on each stop to really enjoy each location. I can't think of anything in terms of improvement as everything was very well planned!! Will definitely recommend the OnBird team to anyone visiting Vietnam

I went solo snorkeling , the guides are all so friendly and helpful and there was 4 that went with us so at no point did I feel unsafe. Some great views and fish.

I was travelling solo and joined this group tour. I was well looked after even before I arrived Phu Quoc. I was contacted on Whatsapp by the company for reminders and what to watch out. The tour guides were fantastic, good English, fun and professional. The water was pristine on the day, we were so very lucky, plenty to see. Highly recommend!

The best way to see the amazing fish and corals that Phu Quoc has to offer. A fantastic 1/2 day trip. All the staff were super nice and genuinely happy and eager to please. A big shout out to Tanny, Colin,John and Halley who were very eco responsible and knowledgeable about the reefs. There was 1 guide per 2 people, which I have not had before and really meant you got to see the best. Also not to forget Tin the bus driver! Thank you for a special memory.

Mintee was our guide throughout the trip. He was super helpful and explained everything very clearly. He was on time when pick us up. The whole trip was satisfying we could see corals very closely. There were two spots but it was more than enough. We were fulfilled. All of guides were nice. The whole trip followed timing in the itinerary. Corals were beautiful

It was a very great experience in a small group. No mass tourism. We were picked up on time and brought back to our hotel on time. Communication was very easy via WhatsApp. The guides (John & his team) were great! They addressed the needs of the participants very individually (especially when I became anxious, as it was my first time snorkeling and then in the open sea). You felt safe at all times, because safety was a top priority. Would do it again anytime ☺️

Fat experience. Never tried snorkeling in coral reefs before and it was really a fantastic experience. What a wonderful experience to be allowed to see what is under the surface of the water. Beautiful corals, "nemophish" and other colorful fish. Total uptur. Very professional guides who made sure the safety was at the top. Had a stop before everything started, where we got tested the equipment and got information about what to do. Full garbage on the speedboat, which had to be kept well, but security was at top and we had to wear life vest when we were on the boat. Super skilled helpful guides, both over, in and under the water. Finished with some refreshments on the island of Hon Dam Trong. Perfect day. Thanks.

The planned service was changed at the last minute Although it had little to do with the initial service. A replacement proposal was offered. Snorkeling in a seagrass bed where you will only see starfish and a few fish. A break on a dream island (Disgusting) And a pseudo seafood restaurant with basic comfort. Everything was cold. A real disaster, I will let you judge for yourself with the photo below.

I had a great afternoon on this very well organized snorkeling trip. Even before the tour I was well looked after by the friendly customer service and informed about everything. The pickup was on time and as the number of people was limited to 12, we were also quickly at the port in An Thoi. After a short trip on the speedboat, the whole group received instruction in the equipment and proper behavior off an island in shallow water. Although we were only 10 people, we had 3 snorkeling guides on board, so all participants could be divided according to experience and skills. This ensured that every participant has a great snorkeling experience and safety is guaranteed even when snorkeling in deep water. Jack Sparrow, Edward and Henry were great and caring guides and also explained a lot about the reef. After the introduction we took the speedboat to two different snorkel spots. Especially in the second place, Coral City, the reef was in good condition and there were some colorful fish to discover in different sizes. Afterwards we went to another island to relax, where we were served fresh fruit and juice. There you could also shower for 30k. The return trip to my hotel was just as fast and hassle-free as the outbound trip. Many thanks to Onbird for this beautiful snorkeling experience. I would recommend anyone to book a tour with this provider!

A very nice exit allowing to see corals of different colors as well as plenty of fish. The attendants ensure safety at all times and allow everyone to evolve according to their level. To do again without hesitation
