We totally had a good time thanks for sweet guide!! Even though it is not convienient place to explain about the sea creatures, these guides did it!! And so kind I hope you enjoy this tour if you're genuinely into the sea.

Great experience overall: despite an initial misunderstanding, the excursion was fully satisfying, also thanks to the competence of the very young guides, Tony and his friends. It's one of the most interesting things you can doi in Phu Quoc and since unfortunately these might be the last chances to see corals before their bleaching due to the climate crisis, I urge you to have this experience.

Highly suggest booking the private option vs. the group option. The private tour is priceless! Our snorkeling guide, John, is hands down the best guide we have ever had on a snorkeling trip. John is super nice, very knowledgeable, and has some great jokes to share along the way. John is a true asset to On Bird and made our experience amazing start to finish. He showed us all types of fish and coral we likely would not have found without his guidance. Cannot say enough good things about On Bird and our guide John, we will never forget our experience!

We had a great time with OnBird! We had a private tour for just the two of us, and our guide took us to 2 different snorkel spots, and a beach at the end of the tour. OnBird is very professional and takes care to make sure we are safe in the water, and go out in the best conditions. Their spots are more secluded than other tour companies and the coral and sea life is really beautiful. We've done a lot of snorkeling around southeast Asia, and the coral we saw here was some of the best! Definitely recommend everyone in Phu Quoc to do this tour!

The tour with Onbird was just absolutely great! After a short but professional briefing we went to a first coral reef, which already fascinated us. Then the second spot - just really breathtaking corals. We really appreciated the open and transparent communication, originally we wanted to go on another day but they said that on the day we finally went there will be a better view - so it was. Also, we always took the speedboat directly to the spots where the corals were and we really saw a lot. In summary, you are dealing with a very professional team, with pretty high quality equipment. Alex and Qui were professional, likeable and it was just fun with them. Although the sun wasn't shining, it was one of the best days on Phu Quoc! Thanks for that guys !

We, two people, took the private snorkeling tour. Though we made a last minute reservation, the company was really kind accomodating us. we chose Onbird firstly because it mainly focuses on snorkeling, not any other random tour to random islands and restaurants and secondly they give a full instruction and practice time for beginners. Jack, our guide was really kind and helpful, we enjoyed every single moment of the tour. The water was beautiful, everything well organized. This is one of the best snorkeling trip in SEA IMO. Ken the tour guide is a true professional and attentive. Love it.

Been to a few other similar snorkeling tours in Bali, Krabi and Pattaya but this is the best so far. The sites were good choice with crystal clear water and a wide range of 🪸. Onbird took very good care of every member of the tour. Ken is humorous w good command of English, Tuan Anh went out of the way to show me how to dive and another assistant (whom i forgot name) was really helpful w my friend who didn’t feel well. It was tiring but fun!

Incredible experience! My first time snorkelling and I must say this was awesome. My guide, Windy was great and was very knowledgeable about the coral reefs. We saw some spectacular coral which was teaming with sealife. The tour was also kept well away from crowds of tourists which made for a great experience. Delicious fruit and water provided onboard, as well as a great training session to keep you up to date with the basics of snorkelling. Highly recommend this tour!!

I can’t rate this company highly enough. They were brilliant from the get go. Very communicative & worked really hard to ensure the trip was a success despite the challenges of rainy season. I’m a solo traveller & joined another couple on the speedboat tour. Our instructor & guide spoke excellent English & I felt in really safe hands as a novice snorkeller. The settings were utterly beautiful & we saw some amazing coral & fish. A truly memorable experience & I have made friends for life with the couple I met on the day! We couldn’t do the sunset drinks due to weather & mist so we were given free underwater images instead. This was all explained in advance. Tracy also gave me info and advice on other trips and tours across Phu Quoc and introduced me to a very useful Facebook forum for visitors to Phu Quoc/diving enthusiasts. Overall a 5 star experience!

At first, we just wanted to book a diving tour to avoid crowds, but this was really exceed my expectation. We booked a customized tour to experience both Snorkeling and Scuba Diving. Both are great with professional services. The Coral Reefs are breathtaking. Shout out to Mr Can, Mr Tuan Anh and the whole support team for their skills and for taking a good care us. We had such a wonderful time and we will definitely choose OnBird again.

It was perfect as expected. This is my second time trip with On Bird. Last year I and my daughter joined this private trip and we were looking forward to join this trip again because we could not forget this amazing experience. This is the must to do in Phu Quoc island. This time we joined trip for 2 days and of coursely we were fully satisfied with this private trip. The U-Turn reef is very exciting site although it was little bit wavy. There were so many pink anemone fishes, crabs and seasnails. If you are a experienced snorkeller, you could enjoy more at this point. Thank you On Bird and C U at Phu Quoc again.

Great experience with OnBird, Can was pour guide, really wonderful, he loves reefs and fishes and was taking a great care of our 2 boys (1 & 4 years old). A truly wonderful moment. We were alone on the boat and on the beaches. Thanks Tracy for organizing it and Can for guiding us!

Our family snorkel trip was wonderful with OnBird! Linh our guide was great. We appreciated the flexibility with our young children as they learned to snorkel and flexible times of pickup and shifting snorkel spots. The whole group was helpful and patient. It was exactly what we wanted out of the trip with a family of four: our own boat, personal attention, and great snorkel sites, at a fair price.

Our vacay in Phu Quoc happened during Christmas & New Year holidays. We had planned for some snorkels days before. We saw some agencies in Phu Quoc providing quite same services and the private speedboat rental seemed to work out more affordable as I came from an island in Thailand and have driven speedboats before. I’m the only one in the family highly interested in snorkeling, meanwhile my husband felt more convenient to just travel with someone who knows the coral areas better than us. So we decided to contact some sort of reliable snorkeling agencies online. Interestingly, Onbird, who has facebook's name as Phu Quoc island, is the only one advised us to not do the snorkel as our schedule due to unideal weather for coral visibility. For me, it’s very important, so I would be after some visibility and have them follow up on our plan to decide which day was best for our family trip underwater. That's the first thing I like about their service. We did great snorkels with the guide in some secluded islands far from An Thoi port. We found Half-moon reef highlighted our trip as we spent more than 1.5 hrs to discover the area and nearby of the reefs which teemed with Coral- covered cliffs, Branching Coral, Table Coral, Brain, Pillar Coral… and various soft coral species. That's the second thing I'm really into. Recommend you guys to have OnBird if you’re willing to experience truly underwater creatures in Phu Quoc island.

As mentioned in the previous review of sea kayaking with OnBird, we'd love to enjoy both sunrise and sunset on the sea. Therefore, we came to the decision of joining 2 single guided trips with OnBird - a dedicated team who are always available to support us via WhatsApp beforehand, during and even after the tours. * On the first day, we took [Sea Kayaking and Sunset dinner] in the Northern sea of Phu Quoc island. * The other day, we had [Early morning snorkeling trip] in the Southern sea. The very pleasant speedboat trip got us to the first island early whilst the temperature was still a little cooler and before most of the crowds. That's pretty cool to wake up before the crowds to enjoy the whole stunning beauty of secluded islands. The 2-hour snorkel at some spots which are full of coral reefs and lively sea creatures with Tuna supports in the waters was definitely a big highlight of our days in Phu Quoc. Fascinating and thought-provoking arrangements of the team. We would recommend adventurous Vietnamese, expats like us and other foreigners to reach out to OnBird if you’d like to enjoy the genuine beauty of Phu Quoc island.

My wife and I loved our private snorkeling trip with Captain Jack Sparrow! It was the highlight of our time on Phu Quoc and a magical way to spend the day. Jack and a great driver met us at our hotel at noon and took us to An Thới where we walked past fish drying in the sun to board a speedboat for our trip. I was hooked as soon as we saw the fish and knew were about to have a great experience! We stopped to snorkel at 3 different places, the first to practice using the snorkel and get acclimated to the water. Since I hadn't snorkeled in a few years it was very helpful to learn from Jack and "get my feet wet". From there we snorkeled at Coral Mountain and Half-moon Reef where we saw beautiful coral and large schools of colorful fish. We loved it! Jack Sparrow is an expert swimmer and snorkeler and made us feel very comfortable out in the water. My wife and I are both good swimmers but we really benefitted from working with Jack. He brought us a life vest when we needed to float and catch our breath and helped steer us away coral in shallow water that you could accidentally damaged while swimming. We could tell he has a true passion for the environment and really wants to help people enjoy the area responsibly so it stays beautiful for years to come. After we snorkeled Jack and the captain brought us to another island to have some drinks and fruit and told us that we were in for a honeymoon surprise. We had no idea what to expect so we were floored when he and the captain presented us with a honeymoon treat: a chilled bottle of wine to enjoy while we watched the sunset by ourselves! It was very generous of them and a memorable and romantic way to close out our day! In addition to all the fun we had snorkeling and enjoying the honeymoon treat we also loved learning about Vietnam from Jack. He is a voracious reader and truly fluent English-speaker so you're in luck if you want to learn about life on Phu Quoc or the history of his beautiful country. He is an exceptional guide! The boat captain was great as well and we appreciated his generosity. We highly recommend Onbird and Jack Sparrow if you want to enjoy a beautiful day and have a private experience away from large group tours. Everything super perfect! From directions to prepare the necessary via whatsapp the day before; they picked us up from our hotel and explained everything in perfect and understandable English (even for those who do not speak good English like us ..). The experience was perfectly prepared with respect to our abilities, they all provided us with excellent equipment, accompanied step by step and at the last of the islands we had time to relax on a beach full of corals with fresh mangoes and juices offered. The staff is really prepared, kind and helpful. We were 3 Italian guys, two English guys and two from Hong Kong and at sea we all felt close in an extraordinary and unique experience, with attention to ecological and environmental aspects explained and respected in detail. Really recommended, an experience far from other commercial and tourist proposals.

We were a couple enjoying freediving. There are very few tours in Fujiwara where you can enjoy private swimming. With this tour on Onbird, we were able to enjoy a private and safe freediving tour with two professional local guides!

The sea water was not very clear. When I arrived, it was really beautiful in the sea. Still more beautiful than the Korean Sea. Barracuda and Mia who came as guides were really friendly and kind. It was impressive that we did our best to move safely. Those who are afraid of the ocean or worried about safety will enjoy this tour.

We booked a private snorkeling tour with Onbird during our stay in Phu Quoc. The tour started at 07:20 and we were picked up and met by the guide directly at our resort. Since the weather conditions on this day were not ideal the guide told us that we should postpone the excursion. We found it very professional, as the agency wanted to offer us the best possible conditions. The driver then drove us back to the resort and we were not charged any additional cost for the trip. The agency then tried very hard to arrange another excursion for us the next day, even though they were already fully booked. So we were able to do the tour the next day. Our guide Can was very kind and gave us some interesting information about the island during the trip. We started with a short warm-up and then we went first. The guide was very patient and showed us several corals underwater. The second spot also featured a beautiful underwater world. And the best part is that we were alone! The agency plans the tour in such a way that you will not notice any of the other tourist attractions! Can was very patient and let us explore the reef on our own and was available for any questions!!!! So we definitely recommend this tour to all Phu Quoc visitors! Thank you for the great experience.
