I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Novotel! ❤️ The hotel has a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, and the room was clean, cozy, and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of great choices. The food at Life Zone restaurant is distinctive and delicious. Everything felt warm and comfortable from check-in to check-out. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely love to come back to Novotel again! ✨

I just had a terrible experience during my 3-day, 2-night stay at the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort. Overall, the hotel, service, and beach were decent, but everything else ruined the trip. First, I got stung by a jellyfish while swimming. I passed several lifeguards and resort staff on my way to the water, yet no one gave me a heads-up, and there were no warning signs posted. On top of that, our room was full of bugs at night; I only discovered them in the morning when I woke up covered in bites. Even just walking around the resort, mosquitoes bit me constantly. By the time I checked out, my entire body was covered in dozens of itchy bug bites and painful jellyfish stings. When I asked the buggy drivers about it, they explained that the rainy season brings out tons of bugs that leave nasty, long-lasting bites. As for the jellyfish? They casually mentioned they are common here, and getting stung is basically just 'bad luck.' I stayed here in mid-October, which is the tail end of the rainy season. It mostly rains at night and stays dry during the day. The dry season typically starts in November and lasts until March or April. If you don't want your vacation ruined by a miserable, itchy aftermath, definitely check the weather before booking. Also, avoid the beachfront villas—the dense greenery looks beautiful and breezy, but you will get eaten alive by bugs. To make matters worse, the entire island is currently a massive construction site, which completely ruins the vacation vibe. From the airport to the hotel, the roads are covered in such thick dust that the bus drivers can barely see the road ahead. Trying to sightsee during your stay takes twice as long because the roads get incredibly muddy after the rain and are extremely narrow due to the ongoing construction. I was told they are currently prepping the island to host the APEC Summit by November of next year. Because of this, I highly recommend avoiding beautiful Phu Quoc entirely until after November 2027.
I spent five wonderful days at this hotel, and it made my time in Phu Quoc even more memorable. The team can be a little reserved at first, but Tien deserves a special mention! Every day, he was there bright and early, greeting us with a warm smile and always happy to help. His dedication and kindness were truly inspiring. He made me feel like a king—and, more importantly, a genuinely welcome guest. Thank you, Tien, for making my stay so special. Come and experience the warmth of Phu Quoc for yourself!
We had a wonderful stay at Novotel! The hotel is beautiful, and the pool was fantastic—our child absolutely loved it. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of delicious options, and the kids' room was a huge plus for families traveling with young children. We truly enjoyed our experience here. My husband even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately we had fixed flight schedules. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. A special thank you to Hương, who went above and beyond to help us after we accidentally left some belongings behind and had already returned to Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you, Hương, and thank you to the entire Novotel team for your excellent hospitality. We look forward to coming back!
We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms were big enough and clean. The overall facilities are large, with several swimming pools and access to the beach. The staff was always on top of things, gardeners taking care of plants, cleaning staff making sure everything was clean, restaurant staff cleaning up tables immediately, etc. it is a very well maintained hotel. Loved their buffet breakfast as it had many options and tasted good. Their seafood buffet dinner though is so so, would instead take dinner outside. But overall, had a very nice time there.
